Homework and exams are very similar making it easy to study for exams. Homework is worth 10%; exams worth 90%. Exams are reasonable and she gives you everything you need to study for them. She also scales them if the average is low. She lets class out a little early most days too.

She is a very nice and understanding professor. Attendance is not mandatory but she still takes it. Classes are only lectures but she does practice questions that help with exams. Her tests are very fair and it's clear how to prepare for them, they are basically your whole grade other than a few small homework percentages.

HIGHLY recommend taking! She is new to teaching but I really have enjoyed her class. Her lectures are straight to the point and she gives at least 10 sample questions/practice problems per lecture that are similar to the ones on the test. The tests are straight forward and if you study you will do great! She wants you to succeed and is so nice!

Prof. Ostendorf was a great law professor and really prepared us to do well in her class. Don't need to read textbook because all information is in her powerpoints which are posted before each class. Does Q&A examples each chapter that are either identical or very similar to her tests. She wants her students to succeed and does a great job at this.

She is the best professor I've had at Auburn. Cares about students learning the material and has lots of experience with real world Business Law. Her tests are just questions that she gives you at the end of PowerPoint slides so they are so easy. The way she teaches really makes the material easily understandable. 10000% recommend.

This was her first semester teaching and she did an amazing job. She clearly cares about both her profession and the students. There were many times where I stayed after class to ask her for help with class material and outside material and she was more than happy to help. She kept the lectures relatively interesting too.

She should teach every business elective. 4 multiple choice tests and 2 homework assignments every week for easy points. Test questions are directly taken from the slides that she posts in canvas. Actually hard to do bad in this class. Loved her!

Good lectures but you can get a 95+ without going and reading the textbook. Easy tests and the most minimal homework ever. Better to read the textbook than the slideshows, because the slideshows sometimes do not cover everything on the tests or assignments.

This class was a breeze. She is great! If you want to do well, create a Quizlet of all the in-class and homework questions, as her tests are almost word for word. She also gives 2% optional extra credit: 1% for completing an essay and 1% for going to class when she takes random attendance (although attendance is not needed to pass this class)

Professor Ostendorf is excellent. She knows what she's talking about but uses very clear & simple language. I would not be concerned with missing some class but if you're there when she takes attendance you can get extra credit. For the most part just study the example questions & you'll be fine. This class changed a lot this semester- attendance is mandatory and requires you to take a random module quiz throughout the lecture to count you were there. If you go to class and listen, you will be ok. Tests are not just like the sample questions anymore, but if you study, you will be ok. Interesting material and a good professor.
