I don't care what anybody else says, Dr. Rich has made a difference in my life and career. I've worked in the computer industry for 15 years; Dr. Rich made me FINALLYY understand WHY I was doing it. She brought that point home through the projects she assigned. Thanks, Dr. Rich!

She is a great person and goes out of her way to help students.

I really appreciated Ms. Rich. She is really helpful and interested in what the students think. She gives several opportunities to make up work and extra credit. She does expect you to do your work and complete it ontime but it is nothing that is to difficult or time consuming. If you have to take this class for a major I would recommend her.Online

Dr. Rich is an excellent instructor. She was very organized and all of the assignments & tests were open from day 1. It was a true blessing having a course that you could work at your on pace on. The assignments were not hard. Dr. Rich was very, very helpful and was quick and easy to communicate with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER CLASS. My class was DL.

Dr. Rich is not an easy Professor, but is definately one worth taking. If you like a challenge and want to actually learn during your college experience, then I highly suggest you take her classes. I have had her for another course and it was difficult as well. She is fair with her grading process.

Dr. Rich is a great teacher and really cares about her students. There is alot of work though. The work in one of her classes is equivalent to all the work in any 4 other classes combined, but it is a class where you will learn so much. When you start to work, you will actually use what you learned in class.

Prof Rich had all of her information organized online and had clear explanation of what was required. She would remind us of the due date and responded to any questions withing a day when posted in or group DB.

had a short research paper and a .ppt narrated presentation to create; couple of DB; graded assignments quickly and gave good feedback. Communicated with the class frequently!!

She is a great teacher and the class is pretty easy to get an A in as long as you do your work. Everything is done through an external program with videos, it is kind of like taking a science with a lab. You have a short paper, a PowerPoint. and a couple exams.

I really enjoyed this class with Dr. Rich. It was a tough class but doable as long as you kept up with the assignments.

I took MG302 with Dr. Rich online and I didn't have any problems with the class. The syllabus and schedule were completely clear and she even extended the due dates in Mindtap because a lot of students in the class were having technical problems with it. She was always ready to help with problems, and I would recommend her class!

This class was wonderful. It was not very difficult. If you do your assignments there is no way of failing. Instructor is very very caring and understanding. Defiantly would take her again!

I had to complete a paper on IBM's Watson along with a PowerPoint presentations. By far the most interesting thing I have completed in college. Dr. Rich is really nice and I could tell she cared about her students passing, although the class was taken through distance education. I give Dr. Rich an A+!!!

I am happy that I chose to take Dr. Rich. She was a fair professor. She was caring and wants her students to do well. If I ever had any questions all I had to do was contact her. I hope to be able to take her in the future.

I really thought Dr. Rich was a good professor. Very quick with the response time and gave quality feedback on assignments. The course work was well laid out. The students knew exactly what was expected of them.

This class was exciting and always has you engaged with real world topics. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and hope to take another course with Dr. Rich in the future. She is a gem.

Took her class because it was mandatory, but most of the things we learned I grew up knowing. It was review for me and I didn't really need the book. If you are technology savy I wouldn't see you needing it either just the code.

Very quick to respond to questions. Took this as an online class and there is alot of busy work but nothing was a waste of time, it all helped prepare for the final project

Dr. Rich is always willing to help if you are willing to do the work. During the semester she provided many additional resources I found very helpful with our assignments.

This was an online class (SAM) with little instructor involvement. Could wish instructor was a little more prepared to guide students through technical difficulties when dealing with 3-rd party websites.

Dr. Rich offer feedback for her grading system which helps me to beware on future assignments.

I swish there was an actual, physical textbook. There is so much information to remember from going through the modules in Mindtap, and it is absolutely too much paper to print.

You have to apply yourself to do well in this class so you do not fall behind. Dr. Rich has a great schedule of due dates for you to reference to. She is a fast grader, and always writes you feedback on assignments. I would enjoy taking another class with her in the future.

The outline and course criteria were easily understood from the start. Any questions or issues I had were answered on the discussion boards.

All done in another website, SAM. It's tedious work, but it's not hard. She lets you work ahead which is great.

Gives a lot of homework but most is for extra credit.

The course has a lot of Modules that have to be completed. The larger paper and projects fit nicely with the work and make sense as assignments. They are also easier to complete because you use pieces of each to complete each other. Dr. Rich is very helpful with any questions, but everything is outlined well.

This was an online class and was very well organized.

I just recently took MG 302 and although it was alot of busy work the information given is very valuable! I look forward to taking more classes in this area

Dr. Rich has been a great help during the Fall 2016 semester MG302 class. She is very hands on and has been a great help when issues arise with the online class.

I've been out of school for a decade and had no problems completing the work in time and understanding the instruction methods used. I learn more about technology and enjoyed the class. I think Dr. Rich was fair with her grading and provided quick response to students questions through the open forum or emails.

Dr. Rich is very quick to respond and help fix problems associated with online classes. She is fair and you can tell she values her students and their success. I found the class work very difficult.

Took internet class under her. Workload was manageable, even though I work 60+ hours a week. If I had a problem, I could email her and get a quick response.

This instructor is exactly what one should hope for when taking an online course. Because online students do not attend class we must communicate through email. This instructor usually writes back same day which is great. She also makes adjustments to the course schedule if there are any issues with the software. She's a great online instructor.

COMMUNICATED WITH THE STUDENTS WEEKLY ON ASSINMENTS AND OFFERED ANY HELP FOR ANY SITUATION. GRADED FAIR AND HAD HIGH EXPECTIONS FOR EACH STUDENT TO DO THEIR PART IN THE LEARNING PROCESS OF THE CLASS. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PROFESSOR AND LOOK FORWARD TO TAKING MORE CLASSES WITH HER.

I loved that this professor responded to my email within a timely manner. The assignments required some time and effort. The load was fair since it is an online class. I would take this professor again.

This is a terrific professor.

I actually rather enjoyed this class, which was an introductory class in Management Information Systems. The material was up-to-date and of real relevance and interest in the It field. I also liked how she had us undertake a project in Microsoft Access, which taught the class basic but very important database concepts.

Dr. Rich is VERY knowledgeable and confident in her teaching. Excellent communicator, expects the students to find the information on their own first, but she is ALWAYS there to help.

Class wasn't bad at all. Professor Rich was very easy to reach if ever you have a question about an assignment but she presents everything pretty well up front so it doesn't leave too much guess work. Definitely do all the assignments provided and you should not have any trouble doing well in her class.

Tests that are given on Blackboard are way tougher than any of the work you have to do through SAM. Our class average was a D for the midterm and she kept everyone's grade the same instead of using that as a sign that the test needs changing.. I fly through the entire semester with 100 average and make a low B on the midterm, annoying.

At first glance the due dates for a number of assignments appeared excessive, however after completing the modules the assignments were not hard to complete. I enjoyed taking this course online and was not overwhelmed by the material.

This course is fairly easy if have experience with Microsoft Office, but you HAVE to do the tutorials/modules on time & DO NOT procrastinate. It builds up quickly because the tutorials can be long.

THIS PROFESSOR IS GREAT. NOT EVERYONE IS PERFECT BUT SHE ALWAYS ADMITS WHEN THERE IS A MISTAKE IF SHE HAS NOT CAUGHT IT BEFORE A STUDENT HAS. SHE IS AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF CLASS TIME AND VERY THOROUGH ON HER GRADING.

Dr. Rich is a great professor, she cares about her students. She replies to emails instantly and is always willing to help.

Dr. Rich is very informative and keeps her students in the loop all of the time as to happenings in the class and assignments. She also grades very fair and pretty much lets you chart your own course.

This is not the first time I have had Dr. Rich as my instructor. Every chance I get I try to get her as my instructor. It is an absolute joy to take her courses. She supplies you with a lot of useful and helpful information. Her classes are of great use for the future as well. Her dedication and involvement shows in each course.

A lot of material to cover but gave time to work and complete it. Must be able to be disciplined enough to work on stuff weekly in your own so you won't fall behind. Research paper topic is a little different and a bit challenging.

Commuicaion is key.. She communicates with her students online every week. Sometimes my mind would slip on an assignment but because I sign in every week and she has those weekly notifications I was able to complete everything on time. Thanks for the friendly reminders!

MindTap work is pretty time consuming but it is fairly easy. Did not enjoy the research paper topic-Autonomous Cars.

I really enjoyed the class. The layout is very thought out and the professor is always communicating with students. The research paper and technology project are very time consuming, so you better get a head start!

She is a great professor to take online, stay on top of your assignments. Pay attention to the grading rubric for her assignments and you'll be fine.

Its a lot of work; however, she give adequate time to complete. Be prepared to devote a lot of time into this class and don't procrastinate. She is always willing to help and I appreciate her teaching skills.

The book for the class is online and not available in print. There is a lot of work to do, but she sends out reminders every week for what you should be doing. There is also a paper and a project due at the end of the semester, so don't wait until last minute to do them!

Covers a lot of material. It's nice to be able to work at your own pace to complete the assignments. The research paper topic wasn't interesting in my opinion but understood it went with the technology and she provided a clear outline to follow.

I found Dr. Rich to be an extremely qualified professor on the subject matter for this class. She combined the reading with videos and articles of current news and events that pertained to the subject matter - making it very relevant. When I had an issue with an assignment, she was accessible and helpful in making sure it was received to be graded

good teacher

Online class was done with a online textbook/training software, which meant you had a lot of reading to do. There were videos embedded in each chapter that weren't really needed. Overall, good class and instructor but if you're taking it online, budget your time accordingly.

Fair is the best word I can describe her as. I missed an assignment and it was just an error on my point and I asked for more time to complete the assignment but she would not allow it due to it being unfair to other students. I agreed with her decision and it says a lot to me about the type of person/teacher she is.

I missed an assignment with no valid reason and she would not allow me to make it up for any credit even though it was 20% of my overall grade. I believe she made the right decision, though harsh, that will help me in the future and that speaks to the type of teacher she is. I had opportunity beforehand to get all help needed from her.

Do not get behind on assignments

This professor makes you work for your grade. Do not miss an assignment and stay on course, which she specifically tells you in her Syllabus.

I didn't like the part about if you have a question about the textbook you had to contact technical support directly. If you had a grading question you had to contact technical support with the textbook company since it was all automated. I felt a few times the grading system had flaws.

Dr. Rich is very fair. Do all the work, watch the videos, and follow instructions and you will do great. A lot of busy work with the videos, and don't put off the major project until the last minute.

I learned a great deal in this class. Yes, there is a lot of reading and quite a few assignments, but all of them were reasonable and announced well in advance of their due date. I really enjoyed the class overall.

I'm attending classes again and working full time. I have 1 kid in college and 1 in high school. I have NO extra time so I need my instructors to be straight forward and unambiguous. Professor Rich was both. I would enroll in other classes that she teaches if possible.
