Good teacher. Cuts through all the nonsense and teaches your the easiest methods you need to know. Tests are extremely fair, and very fun class. Just make sure you don't get discouraged she likes to pick on people, but don't care, she makes it funny.
She was not as nice as pple make her out to be treated me and other unfairly, picked on me and although i completed all the work berated me infront of class, a first class jerk.
Excellent professor! Explains material very well. Reviews homework and tests. She's very fun, outgoing, and understanding. Tests are very fair. Highly recommended for Pre-Cal.

She is a good professor, she is clear and the most important thing is she goes over homeworks and exams. She might have her bad days, but overall I think she is a really good professor. The tests she gives are very reasonable.
I really liked this professor. She doesn't use the book other than give you homework assignments. Shes demanding but fair and if you attend class, pay attention, do the homework and study, you'll do well in her class. Exams are easy if you study.
If you don't mind doing homework and being there every class, she's great. Always clarifies concepts, no matter how dumb the questions are and how many times you ask. she's sarcastic, but hey, if you're sensitive, just pick someone else.
She can mean at times. Good teacher, but her personality is not to good. I think she needs to work on that. Being Scaristic is ok, but you need to work with the student too. Goodluck to all who take her
Good: concise, exams are easy if you study. Bad: Won't answer questions without insults, doesn't show steps to problems, goes too fast with explanations. She's ok, but if you don't have a good algebra foundation, take another professor.
Not a great professor at all. She discourages the students. She belittles you in front of the class with on respect. I do not recommend this professor at all. I see many students gave her reasonable grades, but do not believe from my experience worst
She is a good professor, explains clearly and reviews hw. Her exams and grading are fair. She does have a few bad days and picks at ppl sometimes, but don't make it a big deal, everyone has bad days.
Do not take this professor. She goes really fast, never takes time to explain anything. If you don't understand something, you better ask someone else, because she will make you appear like an idiot infront of the class. She is rude, and sarcastic.
She is horrible teacher i ever have at baruch college . i would recommend don't ever take her she is so mean she will always disrespect you if you ask her any question. Her test is not that easy .. good luch if you take her
I must admit I've learned the most from her. She is sarcastic but hilarious most of the time. She's in a bad mood some of the days due to having to take care of her ill sister and mother. Don't let other idiots discourage you. She's great.
She is very good in explaining things, recommended.
She is not as bad as ppl say, she is very clear. As long as you don't mind her bad days. I think overall she is good. Work hard and you will get great results in her class and you will learn in her class.
great,clear
even though i failed the class. i thought she was a good professor. i actually learned a lot from her. if you dont understand something. she'll go over it for you, until you get it.
The rumors are definitely true, she is very rude and sarcastic. You should not ask her any questions, you're better off asking another student. She loves to embarass her students in class. Im not criticing her because I failed, I actually received an A, im saying this because I witnessed it.
enjoyable class
She is good, tests are straigthforward but somehow they are very hard.
Decent to good but personally stinks. Is condescending & unprofessional. Common line after explanations, "what's so hard, I don't understand". Difficult grader on test, poor reviews (lazy), does not give an outline. A grader who looks for minuses rather than pts. Always late to class.
Professor Achrich is fabulous, I had to take math1030 during the summer and i switched into her class because i heard she was so good. Surprisingly i learned alot. I've always been a horrible math student(dropped out of 1030 my first year!), she explains things really really well. I was so excited t
She is very good as a teacher
she is so good as a teacher and she is very nice person.
She loves military style mathematics, she will drill you algebra like there is no tomorrow, I dropped this class, math is her life... be aware..
The roumers are true...She is very rude. She is not helpful at all. If you have any qustions you better not ask her. Tests are very fair. If you study you'll do good in her class.
She is condescending at times, but THE BEST math teacher I've ever had. She clearly explains everything and will teach you so well that calculus will be a breeze. I cannot recommend her highly enough if you want to learn. I wish that she taught calculus also.
Very MEAN. but teaches so that u can understand. her exams are just like the questions from class. DONT ASK ANY QUESTIONS or she'll yell at u in front of everyone. her teaching is very clear n her grading style is very fair. attendance n lateness isnt too strict, but u would want to go to her class. its hard to keep up if u miss some classes
I love this professor. She teaches you in the way where you'll never forget the material. She shows you her own style of solving certain equations, which was a huge help to me. Unlike other prof. who go only by the book. Her personality is what makes her fantastic. Don't get intimidated, she has a difficult life, so it's only her strength showing.
I think she is very good and very fair. If you do all the homework, you ll be fine. take her.
College level math isn't my strong point. I have a strong desire to learn and ask questions. She snaps at you and makes you feel stupid if you don't understand something. Take notes and go to a tutor. Her personality overall is good, but that won't get me a good grade. I just wish she was a little more patient with those who need more help.
She is very good. It is too bad she does not teach any Calc. Take her, do all the homework, ask if you don't understand something, just ask her. Very recommended!!!!
I got an A........
I enjoyed the class. If you pay attention to the homework and the review, you should be able to pass the class.
Never gave this professor a rating after taking her class, but now that I've encountered two other mathematics professors..she is the best so far. I wish she teaches the courses advancing 2001, I'd be both learning and passing with flying colors. She seems intimidating in the beginning, but you'll learn she really cares for her students. Tough luv.
Took her during the summer, she is the best. I wish she taught 2206. I have not been in school for years and was scared of this class. Between working with her and the students after class i managed to pass. Very entertaining, don't take her snaps personal its all in fun.
Take her! She explains everything is plain english and helps so much. She might seem mean at times but she is a great professor. You must do your work as in any math class but your chances are much better with her. Learned a lot.
You need to pay attention to the homework and the review, especially for the final. Then she curves..
Awesome professor. Very efficient at explaining the problems. Plans her lessons very well. Kinda difficult exams, but that's good because the department final is not easy, and this class is good preparation for it. Don't avoid the homework. Plus she's cool, has a bit of an attitude but it's entertaining, not offensive.
Excellent professor! Makes the class easy, cuts out all the garbage (at least in summer school) that they teach you during the school year. The tests are extremely fair, she's funny (she'll pound the work into you head, but it's up to you to do your part as well.) i would trust her over ANY tutor at baruch.
Great prof take only her for pre cal, you won't regret it.
Her lectures are very clear. Her exams are not that hard...but look out for stupid mistakes and study. The final is very difficult, and she is probably your best bet to learn the material.Excellent!
Wow THE BEST.. I took barone the first session, and dropped him. Took her the second session and got an A in the course. Exams are very fair. She is just a pleasure to be around. She is funny too. Take her over every one else in the math department. Out of 100 prof's in the math dept. only 10 are good. And she is one of the ten.
If you are an autodidact take this class. She relies a lot in your reading. After each chapter you can ask to double-check an exercise but that’s it, if you make any additional question be prepared to be treated as a person of profound mental retardation. Tests: she sometimes prints the wrong answers to have the right ones fixed during the test.
SHes GRRREEEAAAT Take her and only her. Its to bad she doesn't teach math2205. Other wise we would all be taking her.
I learned the material for the class but was so mentally scarred by her rudeness and repugnance towards my class that I've blocked it all out. Gone. Actually said she hated us. Got a B+ but was nearly brought to tears in the process. Sure you'll learn the material, but your therapist will earn a bundle from you. BTW: textbook was useless.
I could not see taking this class with anyone other than her. The departmental final is hard, but she teaches you everything you need to know (final is 1/3 of your grade). Sure there are always people who fail, but pay attention in class and it's really not bad. Most importantly, her grading is very verrryy fair. A+
Pre Cal is a miserable subject and the final is damn hard. Try to avoid this subject during the summer because you will be clueless every day. Lots of drama w/her, but she is will teach you the material. Do "NOT" purchase the text book, everthing is confusing and the answers are usually wrong.
If you take her don't waste your money on textbook ($129!!!). She cuts out all the crap the book is full of. BUT... don't you dare aske her any questions during class, she does not like it! But she'll go through the tests (3 total) to explain how to solve them if you got them wrong. This way you have a chance for improvement before finals.
I would not recomend taking her class unless you have really tough skin. She has a habit of berating anyone who asks questions. At our final, she decided to scream instruction to all of us. She liked to tell people who made mistakes that they should be shot. Note to teacher, NOT A FUNNY JOKE. I did learn the material, but at what price?
Don't take her. Explanations aren't that clear and she wants you to get the concepts almost immediately. I failed taking her twice.
Do not listen to the negative comments below. This professor is totally great. I had her this summer and she was extremely helpful. I actually became interested in precal b/c of her. She is a tough cookie, but in a good way. Not where she wants you to fail. She knows her precal inside and out. I would recommend anyone to take her.

I loved math until I had her as a teacher. Now, I don't. She insults and laughs at her students on a regular basis. She knows her stuff, but she doen't seem to have any respect for her students. I passed the class, but everything I learned, I learned on my own. She was such a jerk that I regularly zoned out in class rather than listen to her.
I took her class in summer semester. You have to study every day if you take her class and there ilot of self study,if you're lazy-you'll never pass.I worked very hard and i got my highest grade-the only in class. She has no sense of humour and hates questions about the material but the quality of her work is great, the level is pretty high.Challenge
aaaah
If you have study on your own, her test are hard compared to the final, But that could be my view. I went to tutoring b/c she thinks every one gets math b/c she teachs. Take her but study on your own dont ask her any thing unless u know the material and sometimes it just doesnt make sense.
I hated math before professor Ackrish. She is one of the only good math professors at baruch and anyone having trouble in math should def take her she is how i passed!
she is condescending & just plain mean. she doesn't see her students as people.
Prof. Ackrish is very clear and explains the material better than any math professor I've ever had. I took Calculus in high school and didn't understand a THING. Her class was much better. It was still challenging, but she challenges you so you'll do well on the final. I got an A but I worked for it. The book is basically worthless.
She does not know how to teach math at all! The class has a form of a lecture with very little problem solving! I droped the course because I did not understand the material and I should mention I had an A in a previous math course. I took MTH 2003 next semester with a different professor and got an A on a final...Save yourself time and money...
she great!!!! chose her if u want to pass pre-cal dont listen to the rubbish those students say obviously the dont know the concepts of God help those who help themselves
She does not like when you ask her questions--at all: points at the board, then stares at you, and a lot of times this is as much explanation as you get. I notice that the questions asked in my class are to the minimum, because simply we are intimidated, not because we grasp the material easily and quickly. I do study but she is discouraging.
One of the worst math professors I've ever encountered. She's very impatient. She gives poor explanations in class and very easy problems; then she sticks you with a very difficult 35 question exam. I got an 89 on the dept final but barely passed her tests. She taught me nothing and I had to learn everything by myself.
Best professor for math. Scared us in the beginning with the rules. But she;s very nice lady, just don't ask stupid questions from the 5th grade math. Her explanations is sooo good, fair tests and grading. Hate math, but enjoyed every single lesson with her. She will try her best, so you will pass her class. :))))
Prof. Ackrish is fantastic. I like math but was really scared--she explained things clearly and helped us to understand. The book is worthless in terms of learning, but she answers all questions and will meet you out of class. I got an A (yes, I worked very hard for it) and I credit her for it. She will get you through the class!
Prof Ackrish is a nice lady, however, her teaching skills are poor. She teaches easy examples & gives difficult questions on the exam. I was almost living in the SACC dept getting extra help & learning everything on my OWN. Part I of the final was pretty easy but Part II was difficult b/c she merely taught us anything on the calc which messed me up
Prof. Ackrish is an angel on Earth. If it had not been for her, I would have NEVER passed pre-cal. You're a fool to listen to any of these negative comments and not take her. She't the absolute best professor at Baruch. She was extremely helpful and I am so grateful I can now move on with my life after passing her Pre-Cal.
best professor. Made pre-cal understandable. Very helpful professor and a great teacher. All of her exams are very fair. Attendance is a must, especially if taken during the summer. I highly recommend her for anyone who has to take this course.
You gotta love this woman. She's a tough cookie but it's because she takes pride in her work and after 30 years she knows why people fail math classes.she is tough to keep up with-moves fast.i just copied everything down and looked at it later.but it saves you from having to reread everything in the textbook.don't talk in class-she'll eat you alive
Wow. Took her in the summer and that was tough. She made a 4 week intensive math course easy to understand and absorb. Great teaching methodologies for a tough course.
She is a bit condescending at times if u ask a stupid question but she is REALLY good. Her explanations are thorough and her class exams were fair. I could tell that she really wanted my class to pass especially cuz we took it in the summertime. Wish I could haver her again but she teaches mostly at night i think. loved her cuz I passed!!
She is a a good Prof, but she is a ****, I asked her a few questions and basically degraded me, she moves very quickly and doesn't answer questions nicely. If you like someone with attitude go ahead!
She is a wonderful person and fantastic teacher. I suck at math but she explains very well. She can be hard but if u go to class and study, u will do good. She is extremelly fair and can be really funny. I highly recommend her especialy for those who are scared of math but are willing to study. I didn't even need a tutor or the book! Book is useles
She was one of the best professors I ever had regarding math. I strongly reccomend to take her class. Just make sure you do your homeworks and pay attention to her explanations.
bad professor. dont take her.!!
Great Professor, i enjoy Calculus with her.
Pre Cal great professor and i took her in the summer with another class. Best professor in baruch.
great teacher. really breaks down the math. really wants you to pass. everything is fair and shes there to help if you need her sometimes its hard for her to answer so nicley wen u have a question but its not too bad. shes real funny when she makes mistakes . fun enjoyable and effective class. also answers emails with grades. i like
I have had two good math teachers in my entire life. One taught Math B in high school. The other is Prof. Ackrish. Able to explain precal in a way you can understand, remember and use! She treated us like humans and showed what more math teachers need to show: PATIENCE! She was always willing to review any concepts we had trouble with.
She is a great professor, is really easy to understand, and makes math so much more bearable by relating it to real life and simplifying everything. I definitely recommend her.
Good teacher, all business, very helpful, can be a bit moody at times, will insult a class member./
HOLY COW! She is the only professor in which I passed MATH and was able to actually do well in math... I've failed pre-calc 3 times, took 2160 before with no success and coming into this class, and while studying before every exam, I PASSED and only with a "D" but a B!!!!!! :) She's groovy, just get your studying done.
Math class was not easy but definitely more useful that calculus and easier. A math I would use later in life
If math is your weak subject (if you are in 1030 it probably is) I would NOT suggest taking this in the summer. It is reallllly intense. She is a great professor, but goes really fast. The test was hard and the final was even harder. But the test did somewhat prepare you pretty well for the final. Not sure why the math department likes confusingus!
For summer she goes by the topic fast. Her tests was hard and the final was harder. Her policy is if u score a 93+ on the Final you will get an A.I could not even get an 80 on any of her 3 tests because her intention was to confuse the hell out you.I ended with an A in the class. The HW and Mymathlab does help.and YOU WILL NEED TO STUDY ON YOUR OWN.
Her lectures are great. HW and her tests are easy. Final (departmental) was really hard. Study hard and ask good questions. Half the class failed. If you study hard you can get an A.
Professor Ackrish is apt at explaining mathematical concepts. This course is far more intriguing than any other math course that I've taken thus far. On the continuum of difficulty and feasibility, I'd say that this class was right in the middle. She is a fair professor who doesn't belittle her students or treat anyone disparately. I recommend her.
For us, mathematically challenged who cannot stomach Calculus, Professor Ackrish and MTH 2160 is a godsend. I find her explanations clear, the tests' difficulty is reasonable and the course is somewhat related to the real world situations. Definitely not an easy A but neither a failing grade.
She's a great professor. Highly recommended.. Fair grader :)
Far Far easier than taking calculus! As a BBA student I didnt have to do calculus so I took this instead. You can apply this class to real world concepts. The test are more or less easy if you actually studied. There are 3 tests plus the final which is cumulative.
easy class if you really work your butt off. she's a DOLL!!!!!!! funny, keeps you entertained, but best of all.... you actually learn and UNDERSTAND the material!!! take it from someone who FAILED math twice before, she's math's gift to students!!! looveeee
Shes's helpful, funny, and the class was easy. I don't any of my classmates failed the class. I actually learned. She assigns homework but doesn't collect it. The class was easy.
On of the best professors at Baruch. She makes math interesting and tries her best to her everyone understand the concepts.
I really like this professor, She explain a lot and if somebody confuse she'll go over. I took her class on summer and I feel so much comfortable and ended up with C, she will help you. One of my best professor in Baruch. You have to study hard her exams was easy but final department is much harder, but if you study you will be fine.
Good professor... Wasn't bad for my first experience I'm a summer session. The course is very intense.. Studying is a must. I got a b-.. Math is definitely not my subject. She is helpful.. Only thing unfair is that she cut off time from the exams. She treated the course as if it were a regular semester. Only downfall.
She is absolutely amazing! Math has never been my strong suit, but she makes it interesting and makes sure you understand. If you ask, she will keep going over it until it sinks in. There is a lot of homework to be done, but it only better prepares you for her difficult tests. Compared to her exams, the department final was a breeze!
great prof. I suck at math, first time getting an A. highly recommend. gives tons of E.C. and 5 mins to look at notes during each exam. 3 exams, 1 final. dont buy textbook- only need review Qs in the back, so borrow from library and make copies of the back of each chapter (like 4 pages) Highly recommend!
Take her class. She is super clear on everything. Lots of work, but if you put in the effort you will get results. I'm not great at math, actually I'm pretty bad, but after taking her class things sunk in. Love her, Baruch's math Goddess.
Best math class of my life! I've always struggled with math but Ackrish made sure to make the material clear. A lot of extra credit and gives 5 minute study breaks during tests, 15 on the final! Take her!
I really respect this professor. She is kind, smart, and interesting. I truly loved this math class and keep telling my classmates how much I will miss it. :)
Great Professor.
Prof. Ackrish is one of the only professors that I can actually learn from in class. Her teaching method helps you remember the material so you won't have to teach yourself everything. Studying is required but her tests are very fair. If you have the chance to take her, do so. She is definitely the best math professor at Baruch.
She is a decent teacher for 2003, does a lot of problems in class. But she didn't really prepare us for the final. My biggest advice is do the practice finals ahead of time and get the wording down for the word problems. I took this class in the summer so the pace was faster and the final's difficulty could change. Algebra is a must!!!!!!
Professor Ackrish is the best math professor I've ever had. Her notes are clear and way easier to understand than the textbook info. If you don't do the homework & skip class often, you will not do well on her exams. Most of the questions are very similar to class/HW practice questions. Take clear/concise notes, pay attention and you'll do fine.
Great professor for MTH 2003, she teaches you all the shortcuts so you dont have to learn all the BS concepts. Her tests are fair, very similar to the questions done in class. When it comes to the final, make sure you know what theyre asking for in the questions. Other than that, shes amazing and if you pay attention and take good notes you'll pass
She's a good professor. Studying is a must. I don't think the participation and attendance really matter as long as you get good grades on the exam 1,2 and 3 and 1 final. The grade depends on the grades of your exams. The class isn't difficult at all but she tends to explain things in an unnecessarily complicated way so it could make confused.
Professor Ackrish is a really good professor. It's pre-calculus so you need to do a lot of studying and practice on your own time or you will have trouble. I took it in the summer and she made such a hard course fly by and not be as painful as I expected it to be. Exams were fair and she gave extra credit
I took this class on summer and was a little hard because of the short time, but If you take her on a long term you would do great. she is clear with the material.
It's a weird "math" class. The professor is nice. We always got to leave 1015 minutes early because the material she is teaching isn't that hard to comprehend. Pretty easy materials. She gave us 3 tests and a final. Also, homework is optional, she never checked. You get one 5 minute break during the class where you can read your notes.
I like how she emphasizes important material. Study the textbook and pay attention in class. If you take the initiative it will impact your grade in a good way.
She over explains seemingly simple information in a manner that makes it needlessly complex. Additionally, she's kind of rude to her students and it's not a rare occurrence for her to get snappy at a student just for asking an extra question on the topic. Because of my innate poor math ability and her inability to teach, I don't recommend.
Great teacher. Had her for CSTM120 and MTH2160. She's only snappy/rude when students aren't paying attention (or she thinks you're talking to someone too much in class). Explains material well and will go over things if you need help
A good professor, but not amazing. disclaimer: i took her for the summer and i'm personally bad at math. can have a bad attitude but not always. gives you a disclaimer that the course is hard ("if you take this class during the summer AND you work- you might not pass"). i barely passed, but just glad that i got the class over it.
Prof Ackrish is a really passionate teacher who wants the best for her students. She is patient and always happy to answer any questions. She is also very big on second chances. I took 2160 and really loved it and would recommend the class to anyone who doesnt have to take calculus.
Select and read only poor reviews about her those are the correct ones and honest ones. Do not ask her anything because you will get insulted. Go to the tutoring center and deal with the tutors. She will tell you that you do not belong in her class, you belong on much lower level.
She is a good teacher but is a bit moody. You will learn well in her class but sometimes she will mistake your question as not paying attention or a certain comment as rude even if it is not. She does care about her students and wants you to do well. As long as you show you are trying and pay attention you will do well in her class.
Give you a disclaimer is that this class is hard. Her tests are fair, but the final exam is a super hard. No matter I put more hours and efforts to study. I ended up C. The final are questions never being taught in class.
Difficult class but she teaches it very well. Go to class and pay attention and you should be able to get the job done. Gives you the chance to make up points on exams.
Math isn't the easiest in general so don't expect an easy A but Prof Ackrish really does make it alot easier. She has a personality that just helps you learn a lot. There are times where she will get you to pay attention no matter what by making a scene and getting loud, insuring that you remember that moment and the information.
Worst math professor I've ever had. I took calculus in high school and somehow she made precalc more confusing. Doesn't speak up and writes super small. Only 3 tests and a final. Does give extra credit at the end but it's a lot of work. Departmental final is easier than the class.
In old reviews they say she got annoyed and thought you weren't paying attention when you asked a question, nobody experienced that this semester and she was always willing to help out and explain things again. She wants you to succeed and makes sure you understand what she's teaching. She's awesome, finally understood this class thanks to her.
Prof. Ackrish was very helpful and striaght foward. She managed to break down specific points while staying on schedule to finish the course in time. Things were a little difficult while transferring from in person to online. But she was understanding and helpful about it
She's a pretty good teacher and I was able to understand all the material. Although, she did get quite impatient at times.. Beware, if you don't understand something or ask her to repeat herself, she might give a little attitude but she'll still explain. :))
It's Math don't expect much. She's there to get paid and it shows.
I do not recommend her. btw, I took this class twice and I bough again the student access code card by mistake, if somebody needs it, leave a comment. it works for this class and next.
The class is not difficult. but you HAVE. to pay attention and make sure you don't miss class. Things can get a little confusing and she is not very clear sometimes but she does offer extra credit.
Ellen Ackrish is a very nice professor, her classes are very well organized, she always explains each step of the calculation and asks for feedback in order to keep her class forward. Professor was happy to explain the stuff if someone lost. In addition, Mrs. Ackrish keeps good communication with students in tough situations.
She is not a bad professor but not a great one either. She's not really helpful and she does the bare minimum. She also gets easily irritated when students ask her questions. All of the homework is online and she makes them very simple. Camera's on during tests and she only tests us on what was actually taught. Overall 6/10 class.
As a freshman, I hope to not receive another professor such as Ellen Ackrish ever again. While I took this class online it was no excuse for her to include unnecessary crude comments, and an unfair final project. Tests are extremely hard. If forced to take this class be prepared to study hard and if you miss a day, get notes from a peer. God bless
Great proffesor
I'm not sure if the other reviews complaining about her having an "attitude" are from out of state-ers from the Midwest or something, but as a New Yorker I found her to be... a New Yorker. Straight to the point, no bull, if you're respectful to her she'll respect you, etc. I'm not in college to be coddled, I'm here to learn, & she was great at that
Prof Ackrish was very straight to the point and always was willing to help you if needed. She definitely wants her students to succeed in the class and because of that, has a tough love demeanor but is caring at the end. She also really prepared the class for the final exam.
I took this class in the summer and professor Ackrish was an excellent teacher, she really understands math and can explain to you concepts in a way that you understand. She is very patient with her students and the only times she got upset were when students weren't paying attention, I highly recommend this professor.
Professor Ackrish is a godsend. She cares about her students, and works with you to ensure you understand the material. Do yourself a favor and take her class.
Prof. Ellen Ackrish is super kind and elaborates topics great. 5 quiz, 2 exam, 1 final and homework is graded. If you like maths it should be smooth, attend classes.Quiz question are from what her worksheets and class discussions. The Mymathlab is kind of a rip off. whenever even used the book bought. She is super helpful for doubts & extra credit.
bad. don't take her.
If she is asked to clarify something, she often gets annoyed and doesn't take the time to thoroughly explain. This is supposed to be an easy math course, she made it difficult. Don't take her.
I don't know why she has such high reviews. She is not a good teacher.
Her exams gets more difficult as it progresses. The class does well on Exam 1, and fails on Exam 2 and 3. Idk why the exams are so hard. She talks so load and it's so annoying. She gets mad at tiny things and her teaching style isn't the best.
She is the sweetest person and goes over everything in detail. She can tell when students are confused. I would genuinely want her for all my math classes because she has been the only person who taught me math and it made sense. She's very encouraging When you try your best, and pulled me out of class just to tell me how good I did on a quiz.
Prof. Ackrish is a great teacher who really helps you grasp the material. While the course can be challenging, her clear explanations and willingness to help make it manageable. unstuck study was a game-changer for my study prep.
Her teaching is pretty average, and she makes some mistakes here and there. If not called out about the answer is wrong, she leaves it as it is which can confuse some students. 3 exams but curve the lowest grade of them 3 based on how you do on the final. Attendance can be random sometimes but most of the time it is taken.
