this is the easiest class i have ever taken. she emails you notes and gives you a study guide from the test. you just highlight whats on the study guide in your notes and youre set! i never once even opened the book and I got an A. easiest psych teacher ever.

This is a VERY easy class. Just study the power points she gives out and you can pass the tests easily with the study guide. And if you don't do so good on the test, you can get "participation" points...even though attendance isn't taken, sometimes there were easy activities that you got points for. Watched alot of vidoes. TAKE THIS CLASS!

This is the best psychology class to take! Dr. Broom is very nice, and the tests are extremely easy because she gives you a study guide that tells you exactly what to study, and you don't even have to read the book because she gives you power point notes that tell you everything you need to know. You do need to go to class for participation points1

TAKE THIS CLASS! Not only is Dr B an extremely good prof, she is very nice to look at. Very down to earth, very good at teaching, tests are very fair, she's very very nice and she's gorgeous! Study the powerpoints and do the 5 extra sona hours and you should be able to pull out an A without too much effort.

General Psychology Dr. B is freaking fantastic. She is very passionate about psych and about life, both of which make the class a real joy to take. Reviews for her class make the test VERY easy as long as you come to class and pay attention. She is fair in everything. One of the best classes I have taken at TCU. TAKE THIS CLASS. It's worth it!!

Professor is super awesome. Studying for the exam is easy because it's straight off the slides or videos. Extra credit points given can boost you a whole letter grade. You better attend class! My sister had her 3 years ago when she gave an entire letter grade of extra credit if you did experiments, but now only 1/2 a letter grade. Hard to catch up if you miss class and don't do good on (epic fail) the first exam. I am taking her again and will go to class. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT!

Mrs. Broom is a solid teacher for psych. She knows her stuff. Her class is lecture style and she reads off a powerpoint. She gives powerpoints to use but leaves some lines on slides blank so that people have to come to class to fill them in. She also will randomly give handouts during class that get turned in when class is over (skip0).

Dr. Broom is a super sweet lady who will always try to help you! The class grade is mainly based on tests, but there are a few assignments randomly given during class. Dr. Broom's class is very interesting. Tests & quizzes are all online but are a little difficult. She usually curves them. Attendance is not mandatory but there are a few SEA assignments that are in person & sometimes online. She teaches things in lecture that aren't on the powerpoint so go to class! She is my favorite teacher so far at TCU!

SHE'S AMAZING!!!! attendance is not mandatory but I recommend going because sometimes the exams contain lecture info. She also lets you use notes during the exams but make sure you study because the questions are about application not about memorization. I honestly did not use the textbook at all and did fine but it's all about preference.

I can't even BELIEVE anyone could rate broom less than 5/5. This woman is hilarious and lectures are very entertaining. She brings in pop culture references to explain mental illnesses and really does a great overall job of simplifying everything. Beware of random in-class assignments that count as points! Other then that would recommend.

My only frustration was that in order to meet with her you had to meet with the TA first and she only held office hours for 1 hour and for one day of the week. If you take notes and pay attention, you should be fine.

Dr b actually cares about her students. She met with me when I didn't do good on her test and I explained about a family situation making it hard to study. She emailed me before the next tests and helped me review and would ask how I was doing the rest of the semester. Ask her to help and meet before tests and go to class and you will get an A.

Make sure you listen and take notes on her lectures because a lot of it will come up in tests. She cares about her students and is passionate about what she is teaching!

Professor Broom is an excellent teacher. The class was interesting, long lectures but she keeps you engaged. Notes matter in class, occasional assignments in class to see if you're present to count for a grade. Some online exams, some in person. if you go to class and take notes, you will get an A.

Dr Broom is a great teacher and passionate about teaching us about mental health and disorders. She talks about how to manage depression and anxiety and has helpful tips for life. My roommates ask about this class because she gives good advice that you can use to be mentally healthier.

This class in general is more difficult than most however, I truly enjoyed this class. She is amazing... a great person and professor. The tests are average but you still need to study. Attendance is taken by in class assignments, they are very engaging and I appreciated that.

Her exams are not too difficult if you study a little bit and she usually curves them afterwards. She is very sweet and keeps class interesting.

She is really caring. lectures are super interesting. I would tell my roommates about her tips for mental health but it's really alot of life tips Exams are online at home. no camera because she told us she believes in privacy and doesn't like that we are recorded. You walk out of class feeling better about your life and coping with stuff.

She is very sweet but does pop assignments so you have to go to class as this will tank your grade. Her tests were pretty hard and based on what she said in class, not just study guide/ textbook. She is way harder than any other into to psych classes, but she's very nice and if you go to class you will be fine.

Dr. Broom is the goat. She is hilarious and incredibly smart. I have never had a professor give lectures as easy to listen to as Dr. Broom's. She is very engaging. Tests are online and not lockdown. There is just an occasional attendance assignment. She is the kindest and I couldn't recommend her more. TAKE HER!

Dr. Broom is the sweetest! So funny and cares about what she teachers. Be prepared for long lectures, but still would recommend! Exams are remote lockdown and not too hard. She gives pop mini assignments to make sure you go to class. Easy group project at the end. Not a bad class to take just not as interesting as I'd hoped :)
