Great prof, used to be a lot easier but people took total advantage of it. Keep on top of your work, tests are fair. Ellen rocks.
KEEP AWAY!! IF YOUR NOT A BIOLOGY FREAK YOU WILL NOT PASS THIS CLASS!! TEST ARE HARD!! SHE DOES NOT GIVE REVIEWS AND SHE EXPECTS YOU TO LEARN AT LEAST 2 CHAPTERS EVERY CLASS TIME!! ATLEAST 2 QUIZ EVERY CLASS!!
She is a great teacher but you have to understand that anatomy is very hard! She will help all she can. She has pp's, notes & assigns things to help you learn! Always take quizzes & labs. This is NOT a class to sleep thru. She is very hard but also very helpful!
Ellen is great she keeps you very busy in class! Anatomy is hard but she makes it interactive and keeps it interesting. All ppt's are online and lectures even for reg. classes, along with detailed reviews! She also gives daily classwork and lab work and quizzes over each chapter, all helps keep your grade up.
A&P 1. She is a great teacher but tough. But thats how science classes are nowadays because the medical field is so competitive. She is very helpful. Go to lab reviews. Overall a good teacher. Study hard!
She is a very nice person and will help you if you need it, the class itself is pretty hard the practicals are not that bad but make sure you study hard for the exam. If you are looking for a easy class to get a good grade this isnt it you have to work for it.
Prof. Ott-Reeves, provides a plethora of opportunities to excel in the course. If you have a question, labs are the best time to ask. The workload is comparable to what is necessary to achieve an A in the course. I learned alot and found her to be very helpful. Do the LearnSmart and study the "What you Should Know" and you will get a good grade.
Not that great of a prof. Her lectures are extremely boring and she talks WAY too fast to actually comprehend her lectures. She assigns too much online homework&I would highly recommend doing it ahead of time. All of the test questions come from the online homework. As long as you do the online homework and quizzes, an A is possible in the class.
Talks fast. She assigns an extreme amount of homework but in the end helped me get a B because I did aweful on her tests. Tests are hard, very detailed. Final is very detailed which makes it almost impossible to study for. Not helpful in office hours. I asked her what I should do to study and she said I should have started the first day of class.
She is very harsh and talks sooooo fast. Gives entirely too much homework and will give you NO help at all. BE ON TIME and go to class otherwise you're screwed. Don't expect an A.
in her lectures all she does is read straight from the power points. her tests are from the book, and hard. the only thing helpful about this class is that she sets it up to were your daily work counts just as much as your practices. so much online homework!! this class will take time away from your other classes. i recommend dropping if have
If you are going into the medical field, I strongly recommend you take her! she reads off of the powerpoints mostly & gives you a lot of outside online homework to do, but it is very beneficial! i suggest you look through the powerpoint lessons prior to class. just work the learnsmart she gives you access to & you should do fine! I made a A overall
The amount of information in A&P is what makes it difficult. The homework is NOT that long, and if you're paying attention to the questions they help in studying for the tests. I recommend doing the homeworks before class so you already know what she's talking about.
I think Professor Ott-Reeves is an excellent professor! I have an A in anatomy in the blended course, thanks to the homework she assigns. Not only is it helpful, but it can definitely bump up your grade which is worth it in the end. Also it prepares you for the exams. In lab, she is very helpful and seems like a very nice lady. Recommend!
Ott-Reeves is a very good anatomy teacher. She teaches fast and is very thorough with the material. In lab, she is sure to make certain that you understand what you are looking at. I would highly recommend her for A&P. Do all the work assigned and you'll be fine, esp the online stuff - easy daily grades that raise your final grade.
Awful teacher, her online class is disorganized, helter skelter, & unclear, she also assigns heavy extensive homework. Tests are detailed and difficult. Feels almost like she's testing you at a 6 year med student's level. Kinda ridiculous for beginners. Probably drop this class if you have more than 10 hours-ish, seriously. NOT GOOD...
Awesome professor! Very helpful, and online class IS ORGANIZED. As long as you study and read the book come to lab days, and do your part to make a good grade, you will get a good grade and she will help you out in any way she can :)
I hated this class. Maybe because it was online? I mean, it worked well for my schedule, but I hated doing the labs alone. I knew no one in the class. Don't expect to be able to just get to know anyone. You have to rent your own microscope from the library which places a hold on your account. This class was TERRIBLE. TAKE THE PHYSICAL CLASS.
LOVE Ellen Ott-Reeves!!! She is an AWESOME professor and person!! Yes, the material is hard and requires ALOT of memorizing…however, she is VERY helpful!!! I have taken her for A&P 1 &2 and only wished that she taught microbiology cause I would take her again!! :)
Mrs. Ott-Reeves will help you in any way she can. She talks 100 MPH but as long as you are following along, it all makes sense. She gives daily open book quizzes and lots of homework that WILL BOOST YOUR GRADE if you do it all! Some people in my class failed most tests and passed b/c they did the homework. PS: I never used my book! Made an A!!
A&P is a tough subject. Do the homework. DO THE LEARNSMART FLASHCARDS. She talks fast but knows her subject.
She seriously knows her stuff but goes wayyyy to fast! If you zone out for 30 seconds she'll probably be 10 slides ahead already. Honestly there is A LOT of homework but in the end it does really help your grade! She's a nice lady but be prepared to work for your grade big time. Key: Do the all the online stuff especially LearnSmart!
We were supposed to meet on Fridays but we only meet 4x in the semester. Online HW are 80+ questions on each Ch. They take a while to do even if you know your stuff. It is obviously a difficult time consuming class but bc we only meet 4x it made it 10x more difficult. Extra credit takes at least2-4hrs& you have to do all Chs for 3%extra credit.
Knows her stuff. Excellent instructor. I highly recommend. Explains why it is important to understand material.
Great teacher! Took class onlinelab in person over the summer. A lot of assignments but helped to boost grade. Extra credit will help boost final grade. If you do the workstudy it isn't hard to get an A. She was very helpful in labanswering questions. I would take her again!
Ms. Reeves is a great teacher, she knows anatomy very well and is always willing to help the student any way she can. I took the blended class and it was not easy. You must be very disciplined in studying to get an A. I studied and did homework 25-30 hours a week and barely made an A. Do the extra credit, all the homework, and lab reviews!
HORRIBLE TEACHER & CLASS! tests are very tough and detailed! This is supposed to be a beginners course, its more like a 5year medical student course the way she has it set up! Will NOT curve ANY grades!! We started with 20 people and only 4 of us passed barely- with a C! so MANY assignments-they take HOURS to complete!! WOULD NEVER TAKE HER AGAIN!
Ellen is one of the best professors that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The class material is difficult( of course it is! Its a 4 hour class!) she did a wonderful job of making sure that the students had the tools to complete the course. THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS!!! If you want to start at go, then take Biol 1406. Study and pass.
She is one of the nicest profs Ive had I would definitely take her again. The test were a bit hard and detailed but if you do your homework and read the chapters before the test you will pass. The homework will take hours so be prepared.
I took her a&p1 blended course. There is a lot of homework, at least 150+ a chapter (I was 12 online though) but it REALLY boost your grade. Her test are very tedious & pull from the homework, reading questions, and the bonus. There is always a short answer on her test that come from discussion boards. She is a very good teacher, just do the work!
This class was the most difficult class I have ever taken, but boy did I feel like I really earned my A. Ms. Ellen is an incredible instructor who really does prepare you for nursing school; her exams are intensive and specific, and really quizzes you on whether you know the material or not. Your grade will reflect the amount of work you put in.
Ott-Reeves is a great person, but if you are looking for a professor that will actually TEACH i do not recommend taking her. She reads straight from the PowerPoint and goes super fast during lecture. All her exams are randomly generated, which means she doesn't even know what is exactly on the exam so she doesn't give pointers on what to focus on.
Nice person, but you'll have to teach this material to yourself. Lectures are useless. You have you know EVERY little thing in the book. This means you have to sit through too-fast-lectures, then go teach it to yourself anyway. Tough/unfair grading on labs. Chances to redeem your grade with homework, classwork & extra credit. Hard work for an A.
Mrs. Ott-Reeves is professional instructor I had so far. She explains each topic clearly with examples. During the lecture, she gives questions that you need to write the answer and submit as a classwork which is the best way to remember the topic. She gives five extra points at the end of the semester if you complete Connect bonus.
It's just a hard class in general but she is a fair grader and does a good job of covering the material you need to know. She also offers multiple extra credit opportunities but doesn't curve at all.
Ellen was a wonderful prof. I took her four week course for A&P I and while it was A LOT of work, she made the class more enjoyable. There were HOURS of online homework due before each test, but its a grade booster. She also offered 5 bonus points on our overall grade if we completed additional assignments.
Took A&P 1 over 10 week summer and it was HARD. Tons of reading, homework and studying and you will definitely work for your grade. 4 lecture/lab exams with one practice final to replace lowest test score and if you do all bonuses (about 12 hours of work) she'll add 5% to final grade. DO THE BONUS CONNECT! and study a little every day- don't cram!
My main issue with Professor Reeves is she did not teach the material. A&P is a very tough class and is not a subject that a student can self teach and be successful, which is basically what I had to do the whole semester. She just read what the power points said and did not EXPLAIN. That is not teaching. If that were the case I could be a prof
Nice person and will answer any questions you have but her lectures are very long and she goes very fast and the reviews she makes for the tests are about 300 questions long and almost impossible. No matter how much i studied i could not get a good grade on her tests they are very specific and very hard. One good thing is she offers extra credit.
First of all if you want to pass biology with a good grade DONT TAKE HER. I've never worked/studied harder for anything in my life to fail so miserably. Her lectures are super fast, she doesn't explain anything. She gives out 600 question reviews & even then the test is totally different. Totally way too hard. Don't take her. WORST TEACHER EVER.
Contrary to other reviews, I really enjoyed having Ms. Reeves. Yes the test reviews are 12+ pages, yes there is online homework due biweekly, yes there is a grade taken in every lecture and lab, yes powerpoint slides were 60+ slides, and yes lectures were boring, but COME ON PEOPLE it's a lot of information, you have to work for the good grade
Ott-Reeves's Test are ridiculously hard, She gives out reviews but they are 600 question reviews! All she does is read off of powerpoints, so get ready to keep up with fast reading.
Ms. Ott-Reeves is a great teacher. She has to speak very quickly through her lectures to cover the material (1 chapter per lecture). However, she takes the time to pause throughout to give everyone a classwork question from the current PP slide that helps you learn the material and gives you easy points. Order the study book - it was a big help!
Ellen was really sweet at times. However, the class was extremely hard. Reads powerpoints, gives 300 question reviews, homework is due biweekly. The only bonus is that she adds 5 points to the homework grade as extra credit. tests are very specific and in detail, with a short answer at the end as well. Do not recommed this class.
She is a great professor. Study hard, but she is more than willing to break down any concept hard of understanding. Read each chapter, it helps. It is a lot of work, but its manageable to get by. The extra credit helps tremendously, which is an extra set of homework for each chapter- all of which you can find online.
Ellen is honestly the best professor I have ever had. She is very helpful if you don't understand something and is super sweet. She gives reviews for each chapter that are about 150 questions, but if you read the book and answer the questions while you read, it really helps to understand the material. Bio is a tough so study hard to make an A.
Mrs. Reeves just reads off powerpoint slides every lecture. Powerpoint's are 60+ slides, and she does not give an exam review. All she does is give chapter reviews that consist of 300+ questions! Definitely do NOT recommend if you want a good grade.
Prof. Ott-Reeves cares about her students and is always willing to answer questions. However, most of her lectures are read directly from the power-points. The lab portion of this class was enjoyable and far easier than the lectures. Overall a tough class when taught by her but enough work and you can get a high B or A.
If you're okay with teaching yourself a lot of the material than she is the prof for you. Her lectures consist of her just reading off the power point, so in order to really learn the information you have to go back and read the textbook. She does give out really long reviews, but I did all of them and they really help with the tests.
Reeves tends to g very quick during lecture and only teaches off powerpoints, however if at anytime you have a question she will stop to answer and explain it. Biology is a tough class so if you think listening in class is enough you're wrong read the book!!!!! She is very hands on during lab!
I took her for BIOL 1406 and it was a lot of work and studying, but an A is achievable! Quizzes are online, learning curves are extra credit, and the tests come straight from quizzes and learning curves. Lab exams are super easy. She's a very nice lady but lectures are boring! Don't waste your money on a textbook. I would take her again.
Honestly, Prof. Ott-Reeves's teaching method works for some people but for me, it did not at all. Her lectures are basically her just speed talking flipping through powerpoints. Bio is a hard enough subject already so unless your good at science/teaching yourself don't take her. I was struggling so much that I got a tutor and still had to drop.
Class lectures were just hear quickly reading through powerpoints covering so much material very quickly so it was hard to understand any of it. Lecture test were very hard, I would study for a total of like 25 hours before one test just to get a 50 on it. No matter how hard I tried I always felt behind and could never fully understand the info.
Reads directly off of slides and just expects you to understand. She lectures the whole time, never giving you a break to catch up. She is sweet, but the class is hard. Although, it is science so it isn't going to be easy. If you don't mind reading over the book and notes multiple times, then she's great!
Very lecture-heavy. Extremely difficult class. Go to every single review session. Do every homework assignment, barely passed this class and I am a hard worker. Study multiple days before the test and write down every homework question. Even lab exams are hard. You REALLY have to work hard to pass her class.
She just reads off of the power points, does not go into detail, draws diagrams on the board and expects you to understand, you basically need to teach yourself. Sweet lady, kind heart, but should not be a teacher. She knows everything herself but does not know how to teach it to others. DO NOT TAKE. You NEED to teach yourself.
Do not take this professor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I studied 3 hours every class as she suggested and sometimes was in the library for hours before the test and still failed the tests. She reads directly off a generalized powerpoint and then her tests are extremely detailed, and you will not be prepared for them no matter what you do.
Reeves spends lectures reading through powerpoints that are uploaded online, so you're gonna have to teach yourself the material. However, she is a very sweet and caring lady who does care about you and is willing to help if you ask for it. When studying for tests, do the review topics she posts online, they helped a lot.
She reads straight from her powerpoints. Her lectures are also online. There's a ton of activities and quizzes due for each unit. Some of them are pretty easy but overall they're time-consuming. You have to teach yourself everything and often do the homework before you've even covered the material in class. There's a lot of completion grades.
Professor Ott-Reeves is a very nice lady. However, she does not know how to teach! she just reads off of power points and expects you to learn like that. To get a good grade in this class you have to teach yourself everything. Although, if you do have questions about anything she is willing to answer.
I was wary about this professor because of her rating on here but heed the warnings, I dropped her class after the first day, shell breeze through a PowerPoint and not explain anything as she goes and on day one came with warnings of quizzes every class and an expectation that everyone knew 100% of the material. DO NOT TAKE if you need the grade
Very hard teacher, barely covers what's on test and expects you to spend 20 hours a week studying for her class in order to pass the tests. I worked very hard in this class and got a 70. She is very nice though.
BE READY TO READ. She is a very sweet woman but her lectures are awful. She just reads the powerpoint and talks as if you already learned the material. Can be a strict grader. I would not recommend.
I had this professor for 1406 & 1407. If you pay attention in lecture and do your online homework outside of class I think you're guaranteed to get at least a B. She also adds extra points at the end of the semester which helps you out a lot. I really enjoyed her class and would take her again, she is very enthusiastic and makes bio more bearable!
Ellen's energy is a 10/10, and her outfits are always related to her lectures somehow and its adorable! Not going to lie you need to study a LOT outside of class bc there is a lot of material and only reading the ppts will not help. However, I would recommend her because she goes over the labs with you and explains things in a simple way
Prof Ott-Reeves is so nice but she doesnt know how to teach. Lectures are made up of her reading off of slides and you basically have to teach biology to yourself. Its a hard course but its not too terrible.
Took Ellen for 1406 & 1407. Amazingly sweet woman, but not the best teacher - reads off slides in lecture. She knows her information though - could explain if had questions. She changed the makeup of every test, which was hard to figure out how to study. An A or B is definitely achievable with her - she also adds additional points to final grade.
Sweet lady, but her tests were very difficult for me. I studied so hard and knew all the material so well, but consistently received Cs on the exams. I never got the hang of how to study and the final is almost too overwhelming to study for. There are a lot of cushion grades, so you are likely to pass, but you have to work hard for an A.
Ellen was a very kind person, but shouldn't teach. I walked out of her lectures bored out of my mind and more confused than ever. I had to read every word of the textbook in order to get C's on tests at best. I never knew how the test would be structured and required ecampus material controlled my semester. Read the textbook before class!
Ellen is a great choice, but honestly not the easiest biology teacher. The material to me was dry at times and her lecture style doesnt make it too much better. She is the nicest college teacher Ive EVER had though! She even brought us food and lays on the day before SB! Shes so caring and loves her subject, just look out for tricky exams
be prepared for 10 assignments due every other day. lab reviews do not match tests. The best way to study is to read textbook. everyone in my class barely passed. Does respond fairly quickly and sometimes will work with you.
Ellen is nice and fun, but she's a PowerPoint teacher. If you teach yourself from prerecorded lectures paired with the textbook, you'll be fine. The textbook really is your best bet. Tests are hard and very detailed for a freshman-level course. Also, her ecampus organization is such a mess, whether people liked her or not, we all agreed on that.
She's the definition of the saying, "I don't care what y'all do I've already been paid." She hardly did anything but just bark instructions at us in our lab class with her. She hardly teaches the curriculum and expects you to understand it all by the time of the exam. She also loves pop quizzes and is a pain in general.
Professor Ott Reeves is a genuinely kind lady who I'm sure cares about her students and obviously has a passion for biology. However, I studied for a week in advance for EVERY test, got tutoring, and did absolutely everything I could to succeed in this class, but still got high D's on every test. Little to no EC as well. Hard class, but you got it.
She is such a sweet professor and she truly loves the class but be prepared to have lots of weekly homework. This biology class wasn't necessarily hard but you definitely have to study for the tests and do the weekly homework assignments to do good. She is always there to answer questions and help you out which is why she is so awesome.
I really enjoyed being in this prof's class. She is super nice and cares about her students. She gives many opportunities for extra credit. Getting an A is easy in this class. The only reason I didn't was because I didn't do all of the assignments.
Okay professor but had to drop because the material was getting to be a lot in a short amount of time. I spent more time doing the homework and labs than I did studying for the class. Homework takes 2+ hours for every Connect. 2-4 lab quizzes per week in person. Lectures are not detailed. Doable class if you have the time but avoid if possible.
great professor, seemed caring however curriculum given affected the potential of her teaching abilities. Tons of homework that take at least 2-3 hours per assignment. If you fail the exams you will fail the class. No exam curves and little extra credit.
I LOVE Ellen. She gives the max extra credit that the department will allow. Anatomy lab exams are hard because they are departmental and don't change with the profs. She helps you out with the lecture exams, just do the OBJECTIVES!! Homeworks are long but you literally will barely have to study if you complete them attentively.
she was incredibly nice and her personality made the class much more bearable. Her in-class lectures aren't very helpful. I knew a lot of the content beforehand and her lectures were still very confusing. You have to spend a lot of time on the resources she gives you to really understand the content
I would not take her again. Her lectures are extremely boring and very confusing. If you fail the exams, you will fail the class. The class average on the exams never got above a 70. Be prepared to spend 4 hours of studying per one hour in class. Homeworks were very time consuming and not effective.
Her motto is that she is going to give you enough work that you are forced to learn it. And her methodology worked out for me because the homework and connect assignments helped me study for exams. Yes, it is a lot of homework but if you time manage and start early you will be okay.
Get ready to only focus on studying. Her lectures are pointless and make you more confused. Just do her homework during her lectures because she gives so much homework and it is SO time consuming. Do the objectives as you go because that is what is on her lecture tests. Make some friends so you can suffer and complain together
As any other science course, A&P II is hard. IMO, Dr. Reeves is not a great lecturer. Lectures include very basic info, you HAVE to read the chapters. 3-5 HW assignments due each week with 60-100 questions each. Quizzes every week. Study using the objectives. Doable but not great. Only one that teaches it at rellis. 4 exams + 4 lab exams + final
This professor is insanely nice. She definitely cares about her students; however, that is not what we are graded over. I had Professor Ott-Reeves for Biology 1406. Her class is VERY test heavy. I wasted my time taking this class. I ended up dropping a week before the final due to my test average being so low; Her expectations were unrealistic.
Lecture: ATTENDANCE is MANDATORY 15% of your grade. Teach yourself the information.lectures are basic and the exams are tough!! Do the objectives, makes you read the textbook. Lab: matching assignments that are the same as the lab manual, shell give you a key to the assignment but there wasnt additional lecture or information given.
I highly recommend this professor. She's super sweet and caring. She knows what she's doing, she easily answers any question you have. She gives lots of tests and quizzes because she actually wants you to learn the material. She gives helpful study plans, pre-records every lecture, and the quizzes have multiple attempts. Best professor ever!
If you have the option to not take her, take it. I spent hourssss each week doing her assignments and still failed the tests. The lectures are long and she doesn't' cover everything for the exams. READ everything in the textbook. Don't recommend
This class is awful. Stay away. She is nice and an old lady. BUT terrible class. If you want to go through torture for 16 weeks this is for you!
Terrible! 17 of the 32students in this class had to Q drop. Average grades for tests were in 50's or below! I have 4.0 on 40 hours in all my classes and would put in 20 hours a week studying for this class. I could never pass a test. Save your hard earned money and do NOT take this professor. It should be investigated why the grades are so poor!
No matter how hard you study, this class is torture. She doesn't seem to care about her students' success. She intentionally makes it very difficult. Half the class dropped. If you want an A, good luck! On top of studying for hours and knowing all the material, her tests are beyond specific. The averages were in the 50s with absolutely no curve.
I had her for Biology I and it was pretty awful, but then I took her for Anatomy II, and it was the worst class ever. She is an awful teacher, and point blank told me that I am supposed to be struggling, because everyone is and that it is "normal." It is not normal to spend 5 hours a day on this class and for me to feel like I am never caught up.
I withdrew from this class because the amount of homework was overwhelming. Each assignment had between 70-110 questions, which was time consuming. The homework wasn't accurate to what she would teach us. Even though the professor gave free 100s, the excessive homework made it hard to focus on learning. Not recommend if you have a busy schedule.
Not empathetic at all to her students or their situations. Does not care if you work or take other courses, she expects her to be the priority. Poured over 60 hours weekly into this one class to come out with a B.
Took this as a 5 week summer class and she was honestly not as bad as people were saying. Yes her lectures are boring but she does know her stuff. I ended up with a 88 but she has bones exams that can earn you up to 5 points to your overall grade bringing my graded to a 92. The test are awful so study a couple days in advance.
Although it is a lot of work. She knows what she's talking about. Her key point is repetition. That is what will get the information to stick. It does take a lot of time for a class like this you just have to be willing to put in the work. I feel like the exams were average. She does have study guides to follow
Any anatomy class is going to be hard. She gave a lot of homework and a lot of tests but her study guides were a good rescourse to use to study for tests. She gives up to 5 overall extra credit points which brought me from a C to a B in the class. She just reads off of slides, pretty boring lecture. her key is repetition, pretty average professor.
While Prof. Ott-Reeves is sweet, her BIO1406 class is notoriously challenging. Tons of homework and exams that are tough to pass. I found unstuck ai helpful for studying, but be prepared to put in serious effort.
The first day of class she thought we were an online class and then still assigned us all the online class work. The first week we had 18 assignments due. The lectures never match the labs and for weeks we all thought she was teaching the right course bc she didn't even match her own syllabus. Don't take this save yourself
Don't take her class! A lot of people dropped by the end of the course because it was SO hard! She gave a weekly assignment that usually took 3+ hours plus a 100 question quiz. She offered tutoring but what she talked about in tutoring and emphasized in lecture was barely on the exams. She didn't seem to have much sympathy for her students.
Anatomy and Physiology is very dense, even so Ellen was very enthusiastic and kind. She often gave us helpful ways to remember key facts and offered lots of resources. She drops some grades and offers bonus. Go to class. There was a LOT of homework, but if you do the homework it adds to your repetition of the material. I would take Ellen again.
Anatomy physiology is HARD! But Ellen does her best to teach it in a way U understand. Repetition is key as she says, & her tutoring helps reinforce the material. All that homework might feel overwhelming, but it's designed to make sure you really learn it. If you put in the effort, you'll do great. If you don't like studying then you're gonna fail
Her class is hard because of the sheer amount of work, but she really wants her students to succeed and does all she can to get you there. I took her for A&P 1 & 2 and made an A in 1 and a high B in 2. . As long as you are willing to ask, she does her best to help! The work is meant to help you do well! Take her if you can.
A&P is already a hard class as is, but taking it with Ellen made it so much harder then it needed to be. She made her lecture slides straight drom
A&P is already a difficult course as is, b
Shes very nice but this is a self taught A&P2 course. Textbook she follows for lectures is horribly written. It's a 1:10 hour class theres time to teach. Expects you to watch tutorial videos on topics she wasn't discussing in class or in book. She knows her stuff good but doesn't elaborate on student level. Did 8 hour studying daily for exams.
I genuinely had chronic angina the entire fall semester bc of this class. I did 12 hour studying everyday while on vyvanse to prepare for exams and it still wasn't enough time.
Professor Ott-Reeves is AWESOME!! Anatomy is hard but she is very knowledgeable and wants to help. Read the book, do the assignments, and understand the underlying concepts instead of just knowing the basics for the exam
