Gives you the confidence you need to tackle the book and the homework. If you do what you're supposed to do, follow the syllabus, read the sections, do the homework, etc... you will get an A or B. I really enjoyed Mrs. Sweatt's humor. It's not for most people, but if you have thick skin, you will laugh your a** off. Don't drop her class after you bomb the first test. Each test gets better and better, and the final is very fair. She gives a lot of extra credit, so take advantage of it. I wish she could teach all of my classes.

i didn't study for here class and i made an A. make sure to have cash before u u go to the test if u don't have a calculator it's $2 if u wonna borrow one. but after all she is really sweet,just be nice to her... sweatt i love.

I took Mrs. sweat last year and she was awesome she helped me maintian my grade gave extra credit and related the material to real life. I am now at GSU and took accoutning II it was the hardest class I have ever taken, if you can take mrs. Sweatt for both accounting I and II I would highly recommend it, she is a breeze compared to GSU profs.

I loved having Mrs. Sweatt! She was great at explaining the hard-to-grasp concepts and made things clear. Very willing to help when I got stuck on something. This was important 'cause I had her in the 1/2 term class and things moved fast. She knows acctg and knows how to teach it. Glad I had her & would take her again if I could. Awesome Teacher!

Ms. Sweatt is a fine teacher. She is very competent about accounting and it isn't her fault the mini semester was rushed. As the other comments say, she explained this all at the start of term. Her extra credit offerings are more than enough to help boost you to the A-B range if your tests are lacking. STUDY FOR THE QUIZZES! they help so much!

She is a very nice lady. Pay attention in class. Her quizzes are mostly vocab and test are some what hard. Check your work because she is human and makes mistakes too.

I can't believe someone said she never told us to do homework. I had headaches from listing to the homework speech. Like the dude before said, do what she says and you will learn a lot.

Test questions are very tricky. If you don't study for the test and keep up w/ homework you will not do well. However, if you're prepared to work hard then you will learn alot about accounting.

Mrs. Sweatt Is extremely Hard, BUT a extremely good professor.She is extremely passionate about accounting. Now I am at Georgia State with accounting scholarships she helped me get. Now GSU students strugle and I succeed! Figure that out for yourself. If you are serious about your education take her!

I sailed through the first half of Finance at Georgia State because of what I learned in Mrs. Sweats class. She has ways of amking you really learn it, not just memorize it.

Make sure you show up for the quizzes as they help you test grade majorly. i plan on taking her again for 2102.

Mrs.Sweatt is awesome. She gives you a lot of extra credit and drops your lowest test grade. The quizzes can't hurt you they can only help your grade. Make sure to attend every class and do the homework. Test were about average. I am taking her for Acct 2102.

Mrs. Sweatt is simply fantastic! She might make you "sweat" a little in her class, but at least you know you will exit her classroom with a better grasp on Accounting. Don't take her class if you are too lazy to open a book. Take her class if you are ready to actually learn something! She is refreshingly different :)

Mrs. Sweatt taught me so many things about accounting! Her lecture is well structured and clear. She is more than happy to help students outside the classroom no matter how busy she is. Also, her regular emphasis on doing homework is not an exaggeration. If you at least do your homework, there should not be a problem getting a good grade.

If you take the class seriously, Mrs. Sweatt gives you every opportunity to do well. She is humorous and does not make the class drag even though the topic could become monotonous. I truly believe she wants her students to learn to think in a way that will benefit them in the future instead of just getting thru her class. GO TO FINANCIAL LITERACY!!

It wasnt easy class at all. Tests are VERY hard. But she is VERY helpful(^_^)!!!!!!

Excellent fun teacher. She had us baking cookies to learn manufacturing terms. We had a lego factory. She gave detailed review question sheets for each chapter. We reviewed with a jeopardy game. The Best.Change your schedule to get her.

Funny that people take the same attribute to such different levels. Of course any good teacher will "call on" the students. I think that is the best way to keep the students engaging. The "she makes fun of you" comment... she makes fun of the people she likes. (I got cut off because I wrote so much, so I'll cut it short) I took 2102. Love n respect

I don't know for sure, but I think I failed this class. It's not completely Mrs. Sweatt's fault, as Accounting is a VERY hard course for me. But she was not that great. She moved way too fast when giving notes, gave a lot of homework, and didn't SHOW us the concepts. Only take her if you're looking to expand the understanding you already have.

Great lady, breaks everything down for you but eta off topic easily. More on the tests than actually covered in class so text book is a must and homeworks help for sure.

Took this course with a different teacher last semester and failed, got an A in Mrs. Sweatt's class. The instructor really did make all of the difference. Her class is easy to keep up with and she presents the difficult information in a clear way. She's very fair and willing to help students. Many extra credit opportunities. Taking her class again.

Mrs. Sweatt is the BOMB! She gives you the core of what you need to make an A in the course. I think she is kind of tired of low-life students taking her course who does not care about their education; but who wouldn’t be. If you show that you care and want to learn she lights up like Christmas tree! She will help you succeed! Highly recommend her!
