One of the best professors at OU!!!!
Professor Falcone is one of the most engaging professors I have had in my time at OU. Truly engaging and cares about her students. Would highly recommend to anyone needing to take Logistics Management. This class is very engaging and very easy to learn.
Professor Falcone cares more about you learning than what you start or end in the grade book. She brings Logistics to life with her personal stories and real world events, normally current events. It is a must take class.
Professor Falcone is a great professor who's own interest in her field of research is so strong that it makes you interested. It is rare to find a professor who is more caring about her students than her. A must take class in my opinion!
Professor Falcone really cares for her students. I have learned a lot in this course and looked forward to attending everyday. If you are looking for an interesting & fun marketing elective, I would take this class.
Professor Falcone is very knowledgeable in the topics she teaches, and prefers you understand the material instead of just memorizing it to get an A. She really tries to get to know her students, and engages in conversation with you.
I enjoyed taking this class. She throughly explained things and provided lots of real life examples. Ellie provided good outlines for exams and was easy to contact outside of class. She is funny and I would highly recommend taking a class with her!
A majority of the points for this class are the tests. They are MC and aren't very hard but make sure you study a lot. There's no homework or any assignments besides a case study and a project. Be sure to engage in the class during the lectures though.
Professor Falcone has become one of my favorite professors. She cares about her students and makes it very easy to do well in her class with extra credit opportunities. She appreciates class participation so this isn't a class you can skip but it's such an interesting class I like going! The exams are hard but if you study hard it's easy, memorize!
Ellie is a great professor that cares about her students. She wants them to succeed and is very friendly. Would definitely take her class again.
Ellie made our class interactive and fun. There are plenty of opportunities to show what you learned but also make up points through participation and extra credit. No textbook, top hat is required and that is how you will get attendance/quiz points. She offers makeup points if you miss class for whatever reason. Ellie is the best though!!!!!!!!!
Professor Ellie really wants you to learn and understand logistics and not just memorize it, she uses her strong knowledge to make the contents interesting, a super nice professor!!!
Participating in her lectures is really helpful because then she'll remember you and know you care. I loved having Professor Falcone because she was very clear about her expectations and cared about her students.
She is a good professor and the material can come off difficult at sometimes but she truly means well and her overall goal is to help you understand logistics.
Ellie us one of the sweetest people youll ever meet. She truly cares about your knowledge of the material and shows this with daily quizzes that are just meant to jog your mind if last class. She also lectures very well and is very interactive to keep you engaged. 10/10 kind of human!
Ellie is amazing 10/10 person and professor. She is more than willing to meet you outside of class and make sure that you are on top of the material. Quizzes are daily but open note to remind you what happened in the last class. Truly a great professor!
Professor Falcone is great! Her class is heavy test based, but she gives accessible resources to study for them. I looked forward to going to her class everyday as she is very engaging and always tries to get students involved. She is a professor that wants you to succeed, but won't just hand out grades. 10/10 would take her for another class.
Great Professor
I really enjoyed this professor, she cares a lot about her students and making sure they are learning. She does make you work for the grade your receive but makes her classes very interactive and interesting. I struggled some on exams but overall felt like I learned a lot that will help me in the future SCM world.
Ellie is a really great professor and cares a lot about the content. She's really great at giving back feedback and breaking down concepts. Would recommend taking her class pretty fun gal :)
Ellie is a great professor and I learned a lot in her class! Tests are pretty simple if you study and she has several extra credit opportunities
Most points are tests, a group presentation and tophat points from in class questions. Interesting class and not too difficult. 82% test avg so many people get good grades.
Good Professor. No textbook. You only have to study her PowerPoints. Tons of bonus points. No attendance, but daily TopHat questions and lectures. She is tough but she grades fairly.
Ellie is a super caring teacher, who wants all her students to succeed. She does a good job of talking about current events and keeping students aware of what is going on in the world around them. She really cares and does her best to make the class fun!
Logistics is similar to Procurement and the other SCM courses at OU. Professor Falcone however is an engaging and passionate teacher who offers clear expectations and fair grading. I wish she taught more required SCM classes!
Really great professor and has good lectures. No need to buy the book! I regret not making it to class more, as there are daily quiz questions and bonus opportunities. Only 3 exams, but take the time to review the lectures. If you pay attention and participate, you will fare well.
Ms. Falcone has easily become one of my favorite professors. She teaches very well and really knows how to keep the class engaging and doesn't talk in monotone. She's pretty funny at times and definitely cares about her students. No reason to skip class because of attendance and quiz questions being pretty common. Tests are easy if you study.
Professor Falcone is one of my favorite professors. She makes logistics engaging and relevant through regular supply chain updates and case studies. Participation matters and there are regular in class quizzes, they aren't overly difficult as long as you pay attention. The exams are manageable as long as you pay attention in class and study well.
She's an awesome professor! I'm not a supply chain major and she did a great job keeping the class interesting and balanced difficulty. There's daily tophat quizzes for attendance but they're pretty easy and open note/classmate. Exams aren't too difficult, you have to study to do well but exam questions are all straight froward.
Ellie was a great professor to have for logistics. Lectures were entertaining and kept you involved. As long as you pay attention in class you will do fine in this class.
Most enjoyable class Ive taken here. You get some freebies for attendance, so I wouldnt say attendance is mandatory. Pay attention to lectures (no book) because shell state questions that will be on the exam. Current events discussed are very helpful to understanding concepts.
Ellie is a great professor and is very interactive during her lectures. If you want to do well, you have to attend class but the lectures are interesting and there isn't much homework other than studying for tests. The tests aren't hard as long as you take time to look over lectures and memorize!
Such a good professor! She makes the lectures fun and she genuinely cares about her students. There are no surprises on the tests she prepares you very well.
Ellie is one of the best professors I have had in OU's business department. She cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Just study the powerpoint slides and pay attention to what she says in class. I wish I could take more courses with Ellie!
Easy to get in touch with if you have questions or need help with something.
Ellie is an amazing professor and does a great job ensuring her course is easy to understand and interesting! Lectures keep you involved in the class and the material is very relevant as importance of SCM/logistics grows. Main grades are daily tophat quizzes, a group project and fairly straightforward exams as long as you study and pay attention.
Dr Falcone is a great teacher. She engages with the class and uses many relevant examples in her lectures.
She's great! Her class is doable as long as you pay attention and take advantage of all the extra credit opportunities and in class participation. Super knowledgable in her field, would definitely take again. I'll most likely be ending with a low A or high B.
100% take again.
Ellie is great. Her lectures are engaging and straightforward. She ties in current events and real-life scenarios which is nice. Highly recommend.
This was my favorite class I have taken while at OU. Only graded on three tests, a final presentation, and total tophat questions taken each class.I would 100% take this class again. Listen and make notes to PowerPoint and then go back and rewrite notes as this will ensure success on the exam.
NGL this class was tough the first week but it got easier, shes funny and NO TEXTBOOK!!! 4 exams and one group presentations. Quizzes almost everyday but tbh take a couple notes and youll be fine. If not make friends in class and ask them
Even though attendance is not mandatory she does TopHat quizzes in class for a grade. She is super sweet and really cares about her students. The class is made up of exams and a group project. If you do not study for the exams they will be hard, but if you listen in class and study you'll do fine in class.
Super lecture heavy, class can be boring at times but she is a good teacher and very nice. If you prefer lecture based classes you'll be fine
100% take again
Professor Falcone's teaching style is very easygoing and everything flows smoothly during lectures. She leaves room for questions and thoughts in order to make sure the material is understood to a complete extent. She always brings a fun, light atmosphere to the classroom.
Enjoyed her class! Mrs. Falcone is very fair and understanding with her teaching. I learned a lot but also didn't feel overwhelmed. The material could have been very difficult, however Mrs. Falcone made it enjoyable. I would definitely take one of her classes again!
Professor Falcone is awesome and definitely who you want to take for MKTSCM_3223. She is very engaging in class and makes the material easy to learn. Her tests are very reasonable and easy if you just go to class and pay attention.
The class was well organized and relatively easy. She cared about how each student does in her class and offers many chances to help your grade. The class is a boring topic but she did enough to make that aspect of the class interesting.
Professor Falcone is the best college professor that I have had. Her classroom was fun and exciting each morning, her lectures were super informative and I feel like a learned a lot of real world skills from listening to her teach.
While attendance isn't required, it is encouraged because of in-class questions. Professor Falcone is one of, if not the best professor I've taken here at OU. Not much homework, helpful in and out of class, and genuinely an amazing teacher. Do well on the tests, not many assignments to help if you bomb a test.
Dr. Falcone's class was a highlight of my last semester at OU. She does an excellent job of engaging students through both intentional lectures and fun, collaborative case studies. Although class attendance was optional, over 80% of students showed up, class after class - everyone enjoyed being there! You will learn a lot in this course.
She was a very good teacher and always understanding of any issues happening outside of the class. If you show up to class and take notes beforehand, I learned it was easier to sit and listen and focus on what she was saying. We had one presentation with a group and it was not bad at all. Overall I would for sure reccomend taking Ellie for a course
Professor Falcone is very passionate about Supply Chain Logistics and she clearly wants her students to succeed. There are 3 exams, 1 presentation, and 1 overall TopHat grade. These are your only grades plus a few bonus points so you have to do well on the exams. She tries to keep lectures interesting by including current events.
Professor Falcone is a great professor, she always gets a laugh out of the class and makes her lectures very interesting. She is one of the best professors I have had and her test arent difficult if you go over the slides she lectures over. Overall, you wont regret taking her class.
This class is challenging but fair. There aren't many points available in the course so you have to try from the beginning. Study the powerpoint questions to prepare for exams, if you know those you should do fine! Overall, great course I've learned a lot!!
Dr. Falcone has become one of my favorite professors at OU. The lectures are relevant and engaging, and participation matters as there are daily quiz questions, which are not challenging as long as you pay attention. The exams are easy if you study a lot, and she is easily accessible outside of class.
Professor Falcone is an amazing professor. She really cares about her students and tries to make the class as interesting as possible. The class is lecture heavy so it is important to attend class and actively take notes. If you are ever struggling in her class she is willing to meet with you to help! Definitely recommend her!
I was behind in class and she reached out to me. She cares a lot and helped me out quite a bit. You can tell she enjoys what she does and tries to involve the class as much as possible.
I am a Marketing major and took her class as a filler. I enjoy structured classes that have engaging material and this class was one of them! I'm glad I took this class with Ellie Falcone she made the class entertaining and took the time to really teach the material. If you go to class you should be in great shape!
Great professor! Come to class and study a decent amount and you'll be fine! She's very helpful, and really cares about her students!
Even though attendance isn't mandatory, she will call you out in front of everyone if you don't show up. She is honestly really funny and a good teacher. Just beware exam 2 is definitely the hardest.
Solid teacher but tests are weighted too heavily.
Lecture heavy, but is a good teacher. 3 exams, 1 presentation, and a few extra credits.
She is very passionate about what she teaches and honestly those are the best professors. Very willing to help if you approach her. Gave multiple extra credit opportunities throughout the year.
Professor Falcone is THE BEST! She sets clear expectations from the beginning, provides some extra credit, and treats all her students like adults. Tests are fairly simple if you go to her lectures and pay attention to the in-class quizzes and case studies. Definitely recommend her for Logistics!
Great professor! She set clear expectations from the first class. She is understanding and cares for her students. She offers extra credit and if you study the notes and case studies from class the test are fair. Highly recommend her!
Offers a lot of extra credit and bonus points. She truly wants everyone to do well in her course. Not required to buy a textbook, mainly uses tophat for in class quizzes. 3 exams and a group presentation are majority of the grade. The exam is multiple choice. Overall highly recommend.
Amazing Professor! She is one of the best SCM professors at OU and one of the best I've had throughout all of my classes in college. She is helpful and sets the expectations for her class from Day 1. Although it's a test-heavy class, if you show up, listen, participate, and study what she tells you to focus on, the tests shouldn't be a problem.
Good SCM professor, She wants the students to succeed. Professor Falcone is highly recommended
Genuinely cares about her students wellbeing and will work with you if you talk to her. Covers current events almost every class which helps connect the material we are learning to real life events happening in todays world. Exams are not difficult if you study the material she puts on the reviews.
Professor Falcone is a great professor that truly wants all of her students to succeed. Test are multiple-choice and only contains questions about information she has gone through in class. I definitely recommend taking professor Falcone for logistics!
Prof. Falcone values her lecures and comes really prepared. Before each lecture she had "current" part on slides which is way too inspirational and thought provoking. Overall, it's a an average diffuculty class with an effort giving professor. So I would definetly recommend it.
She is very knowledgeable when it comes to supply chain management, and it shows in her lectures. She wants students to do well.
She truly cares about her students and is incredibly passionate about her work. Would highly recommend taking her.
Dr Falcone has been one of the best professors I have here at OU. Her lectures are interesting, and she truly wants everyone to do well. If you show up, pay attention, and get good tophat scores you will be successful!
She is a great professor and makes the material very easy to follow. Would recommend you take her.
Great professor. Always looking to help the students. Keeps content interesting with current events. Review the questions she leaves at the end of slides and you'll do well on exams.
This was a really good professor. She was a straight forward test giver, and really wanted to make sure you understood the material. You do not need to purchase the textbook for this class because the lecture slides cover everything you need to know.
The class is definitely test-heavy but the content is all covered on her slides. If you review and study well, you should be fine. Professor Falcone herself is very enthusiastic about the subject and ties in real-life examples to the material through her "current events". I recommend taking her course for logistics!
Great professor, could not have asked for a better semester! Thank you.
Great professor and very funny and engaging
Great professor, very funny and engaging every class
Best Prof I have had
Great professor, very fun and engaging every class
Professor Falcone did a great job of motivating all of her students to show up for her morning lectures. It was easy to be involved and listen closely to what she was teaching. She has been the best prof that I have had in college.
Amazing class. Great professor
Ellie is an amazing well organized professor! Love the way she structured her class and was always eager to help her students. Her exams were over the exact content she covers in class, no weird questions or topics just all straight forward. Go to her class everyday because it will help you in the long run and help her get to know you better!
Professor Falcone had great knowledge of the subject matter and truly cared about the well being of her students. You'll learn a lot in this class and she does a great job of preparing you for the exams. Very friendly and accessible!
The class was pretty interesting with Professor Falcone teaching the class. She engages the class and makes the class laugh with her jokes all the time. Test can feel kind of hard if you don't pay attention, there were always a couple questions that felt like trick questions even though she says they weren't.
Dr. Falcone is very passionate about the material. She keeps the lectures interesting and prepares you well for the exams. Go to class for spontaneous extra credit opportunities.
Clearly states expectations from students and wants to see you succeed. Lecture heavy but she keeps the mood light and is a very personable professor. She does a great job of explaining information in a way that is easy to understand. If you show up to class and take notes then you will pass with flying colors
Professor Falcone lines out her expectations on day one and sticks to them. She has very few grades other then exams and top hat, but if you pay attention and apply yourself you will succeed. She cares a lot about students and helps to ensure success. Highly recommend the class.
Dr. Falcone was fantastic. Attendance is mandatory (uses TopHat) but offers extra credit for attending some days. Exams are straight off of lectures, not easy but not overly difficult if you go to class and take notes. Lectures are engaging and applicable, not much homework. Enjoyable class with a great professor.
Professor Falcone was by far my favorite professor I've had at OU. She genuinely wants her students to succeed, and will do what she can to help them. One group project, but wasn't hard at all and she graded easy. I would definitely take her again!
Ellie is a great professor. Good classes and well versed in her subject. Tests have questions that she specifically only goes over in class, so show up. Tests aren't too hard if you've done your hw, showed up, and gone through the slides. Ellie is funny and kind but she also is respected and serious, so don't fool around cause she will remember you
Ellie is one of the best professors I have ever had! Her class was engaging and fun! She is very interactive with her students and isn't afraid to get everyone involved. I loved joking around with her. As long as you go to class you should have no problem in this course. My only regret was that I wasn't able to come more.
If I were to take this class again, this is what I would do differently: 1. Review the PowerPoint slides before class as every day there were pop quizzes about the previous lecture 2. Find people to study with for exams versus studying on my own 3. Make a page in my notes for things she explicitly stated would be on an exam
Professor Ellie Falcone is a sweetheart! Some people have the ability to teach individuals effectively and others aren't cut out for it. Ms. Falcone has this ability. You will NOT regret taking a course with her!
Ellie is the best! I feel like I learned so much in this class about supply chains. Her lectures are fun and engaging and she truly cares about her students. I studied a lot to get an A, but it was worth it. She clearly highlights everything that will be on the test in her PPTs and creates a study guide for each exam. TAKE HER!!!
