If you are looking for an easy class that you can sleep through, don't take this one. Kazemi expects a lot from her students. But if you really want to walk away knowing how to conduct research and feeling like you surpassed your own expectations of yourself, DO take this. It's hard, I'm stressed...but I'm loving it.

However, she absolutely devotes her time & energy 2 helping you through the process. I feel confident in my understanding of the material due 2 her.

The reason the class felt rushed toward the end was because it was a large class and the prof was constantly answering questions; sometimes the same questions over and over again. If students were still confused the prof was available, as well as 2 TAs, and the vastly underutilized course website where we all could've helped each other.

Please, when people are saying that she picked "favorites" they are referring to the fact that a handful of people were chosen to give presentations on their self mod. projects. One of the best professors I have ever had. She gives interesting examples. A lot of in class quizzes and 3 exams. If you do well in class you don't have to take the final.

Taking her for PSY351, shes a sweet professor, very funny and always has entertaining videos to show. However, she has many pop quizzes and her test are extremely hard... probably the hardest exams Ive had throughout all my PSY classes. the test make no sense and the quizzes are pretty stupid too, bc she puts answer choices that are the same lol

Might as well have taken a course fully online/watched YouTube videos on the topics. She breifly lectured twice the whole semester. Instead of lecturing herself, the modules were set up so that we got quizzed on material that wasn't covered yet before unlocking the rest of the module; very backwards & counted towards grade. She's nice & resourceful

Professor Kazemi is the best. She was extremely flexible and patient. Offers a good amount of EC. Class very super straight forward & made up of online modules. Watch the videos and you should have no problem answering the Q's in the modules. No textbook required. Class is super helpful & informative if you're trying to get into this field.

Incredibly caring, and very thorough, but an intense behaviorist. Teaches well, and a fair grader. She works as best she can to create understanding when students don't get a concept. Difficult tests. Very technical questions that require real knowledge and understanding of the concepts. Make sure you pay attention in class and know concepts COLD.

Have taken two of her course and she is one of the best professors at CSUN. She is so knowledgeable and really knows what she is talking about. I have learned so much from her courses and her guest speakers and have been able to apply it outside the classroom.

the only assignments are weekly quizzes, no exams or papers. Quizzes are usually based on a youtube video made from grad students or guest lectures. She's a very kind and caring professor. The only way not to get an A is from not submitting your quizzes, which are only 10 questions and super easy to understand.

I'm so disappointed that I gained nothing from this class. She's a very nice lady but I had no motivation to show up to her lectures, and that didn't impact my grade at all. I earned 99%. Everything was based on super easy weekly quizzes. I know some classmates were actually pursuing this field and very let down by the content of this course.

Easiest class with a guaranteed A - just do the assignments, quizzes, and one final exam which she gives you two tries on the final. If you are taking her field, take someone stricter and then take her class as a reminder of the knowledge.

Easy A, but a bit of an odd structure. Weekly modules. if you pass the prequiz, the rest of the module isn't required. If you don't pass the prequiz, you must complete the rest of the module which can be quite lengthy at times. The lecture videos were monotone and not very informative. Class attendance is not mandatory which was great.

Pretty easy going class. This course consists of modules followed by quizzes. Quizzes aren't that hard just make sure to pay attention to the videos. Really cool class to pair with a heavy course load due to its flexibility. No attendence required since it's self lead.

It's impossible to not get a good grade in Dr. Kazemi's class. She's really kind and accommodating, though you honestly won't need any accommodations. 2 modules due each week that are very easy to do, and you do them on your own time. I learned a lot from the modules so far even though they're self-led!

The course is basically a mini intro into ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis). It's not exactly what I expected but it is great if you want to explore that field of psych. No exams or papers, just mini assignments and quizzes based off posted videos. The entire course could be completed early in the semester. Easy A.

Easiest class I've taken here! Watch short videos with short quizzes; you have all semester to turn in the work- though she does have dates posted as guidelines. This class clearly outlines roles/expectations of a behavior therapist and I have been inspired to pursue that career path because of this class. No final, little effort needed to pass!
