Cohens' crtitcal thinking class was very helpful in helping the student discover flaws in his/her thinking. Not only is Cohen the smartest person I have ever met , he is also one of the most helpful .

Dr. Cohen is awsome. He TRIES to joke about everything which makes class relaxing and fun. I worked a little and got a high A. He's a cool guy and an absolute genius - he knows everything about everything.

O wow...This class is easy...every athletes dream! :) Take him..I skipped class like every other day studied for 10 min before the test and I got a B...He is a very goofy guy..makes it fun...("you no good S.O.B") :)

Very interesting class. I took it online so there was very little interaction. Assigns work that gets you to question your ethical beliefs, takes some time to analyze and think about your answers but there is only 1 assignment a week and 1 easy term paper. Pretty easy on grading and provides study guide for exams.

I thought this class was really boring, but it had its good days. We spent lots of time on the things he wanted to talk about and didn't get to what I was interested in. Class wasn't bad and it was easy, and Cohen is a nice guy and is highly intelligent.

I took Into. to Ethics via the internet and the class was pretty easy; however, there was a lot of assignments to turn in on a weekly basis. Dr. Cohen is a good instructor.

I took this class online and it was a breeze! I thought it would be hard, but really it is common sense. The test was so easy! If you just read and do the Questions for Analysis that he tells you to do, you will do great. One major thing you have to do to get an A is to answer the exact question on his study guides! The test comes straight from it!

He was a nice teacher, very boring though, his exams are not tricky at all, just participate in class and study his online study guides, he requires 350 words a week in beleif scan essays, one 1000 word term paper, and a 350 word summary of what you've learned throughout the semester.

I took his online ethics class and really enjoyed it. There are two big assignments, a 800 word paper, a midterm and a final. He also gives chances for extra credit through online debates As long as you do the assignments and participate its not a hard class. He also is very good at promptly returning emails if you have questions, and posting grade

I took his online creative thinking class. Not difficult, just alot of writing. He writes all the books and even made the software so there is no fooling him. As long as you do all the assignments and study for the midterm and final you will be ok. Great class for an easy online Humanities. Nice guy also, very prompt returning emails and grades

I had him for PHI 1103 and he is such a great instructor. For the very first time, i couldn't really get it, Guess it's because I'd missed a few classes then after i ended up nailing his two other exams. Really if you do come to classes and understand the material, read the pages he assigned you before the test and you'll do just fine.

Dr. Cohen is brilliant and his books remain helpful to me in life after class. Super easy class. Adorably nerdy guy. I wasn't able to turn anything in on time and I still got an A in the class.

He is very clear, very conscise. If you do the reading and the study guide you will bank a great grade. do the writing assignments and don't fake them and you will do good.

Dr. Cohen's class is really easy. I got a B in it.. the study questions are exactly whats on the test. the 2 papers are okay too i guess, although it does take a lot of time.. i took online.. pretty cool guy

This class is interesting. I took it online and you use the book often. The big writing assignment was a lot of work, but it was manageable. My opinion on the topic I choose and Dr. Cohen's opinion on it were different but I still got a good grade on it. So don't listen to people who say he gives bad grades if you don't agree with him. He's nice.

Dr.Cohen is a very smart man in which I learned alot from. His class is VERY interesting. He is also VERY helpful and you can tell he has a passion for teaching. I would highly recommend him!!! His tests are fair and there is not to much busy work in his class which is great!

Somewhat repetetive, but smart guy. He tries to liven things up. Definitely is active in teaching not passive.

Took on line, reccommended if u r self disciplined. This class really makes u think, a lot. It was pretty stressful but if u put the HOURS in and show that you've really worked for ur answers, u will get an A. The two tests were easy as long as u put the time in to do the study guide. Prof Cohen was fairly good about getting back through email.

Dr. Cohen is a very approachable and kind professor. He really wants his students to learn and think. He is non-judgemental, and extremely bright. I would take more classes of his if I could, I really got so much out of his classes. He's an amazing guy, and very compassionate and understanding.

Took this as a Summer I Online course. Three diff textbooks required. LOTS of written work/exercises. I submitted 6,000+words, but I may have been the extreme. (I did get an A though). As much as I cursed the written work, it absolutely prepared me for the tests. He provides very helpful study guides, follow them and you'll pass without problem.

Taking him for Ethics in Hum Serv. I think its a pretty hard class, hard tests, but he is a really nice guy and really tries to help you understand. A lot of memorizing and studying required for class. Do not really love the subject, but he is really smart in the subject so If I had to take it, I'd take him.

Dr. Cohen is BRILLIANT!!! Listen closely and you will not only learn the material but, you will also learn about yourself. You will cheat yourself if you take him online. His class is a face to face must!! I wish I had him for more classes!

Mr.Cohen is a great teacher, I was afraid I would fail since I missed like 7 classes but he passed me with a C. He lets you make up all work and tests up to last day and the only work was 1 essay, 1 summary per wk and 3 hilarious exams (he's very witty & funny).If you respond to a question in class be prepared for a 10 minute conversation though.

he is one of the smartest teachers on this campus and also the kindest and the best. i enjoyed all of his classes and even though it was easy i still learned alot because of his great personality and he actually cares!!!!!

He's a little boring. But he allows for interesting topics in the class and he makes it easy for you to pass. The actuall class discussion were the most interesting parts.

i took his online class. only two tests, but a lot of casebook work, which is mostly your opinion on different scenarios. he gives study guides for both tests and if you read what they tell you to read, the tests are super easy.

Great teacher know the study guides and do the essays go to majority of his classes and you'll do great very smart and makes learning the material easy!

He was a very fair and kind teacher. He had a delightful sense of humor and I enjoyed his class. The only suggestion that I would offer would be to eliminate all talking when he is teaching. He has given me a wealth of information and I am grateful. I highly recommend Dr.Cohen as a teacher.

I would have fared better taking this class in person, rather than online. The writing assignments are numerous, but they compel you to explore your thought processes. This teacher gives a beast of a test, but is very kind and will go out of his way to be helpful. If you sign up for this class, be ready to work! Not an easy A, but valuable.

Good online class but get ready to work! Because between the exercises and the reading oh and the belief scan its pretty tough but it is do-able! If you need to take a humanities class this is an ok pick but I def liked his ethics class better.. it takes him about a day to email you back but as the chair of a department thats pretty fast!

Funny guy. Teaches well. Lectures can be a little boring but all you have to do is ask a question concerning the topic and life will spark in the discussion. Exams are fairly easy if you study. Study guides are excellent-tells you everything you need to know. Be prepared to read the book. Nice guy, willing to help, and of course, ethical.

Took this course online for summer one. There's a midterm, a final, and one paper. There are class discussions you can complete throughout the course for extra credit. Make sure you take the time needed to fill out and memorize everything on the study guides. The exams are directly based from these guides. Interesting class.

Took this class during the summer and it was way better than I expected. He responds to emails quickly and is helpful. There's only two tests: a midterm and final,(multiple choice) and one report to do. Cohen provides study guides which definitely is helpful for the test.

I took this course online (dual enrollment. Dr. Cohen answers emials in a timely manner and really makes you think, even about the simpliest questions you have. I thought his course was thought provoking and I did not think he was judgemental at all. Do the study guides for the exams(midterm/final) and the discussion posts. I'd take him again.

This class was super boring!! I would've rather chewed glass. I think this class would've been more interesting had I taken it in person instead of online. I passed with a B and I only read 2 chapters all semester. Cohen is one of the fastest email repliers...(repliers? is that a word?. He even replies on the weekends! Love teachers that ck emails.

Took this course online. It's a very helpful class, but expect a lot of reading and exercises. I passed the class with A, but I really had to stay on top of things and work hard to do well and learn. Just do your work and you should be fine. There is a mid-term paper and two exams. Good luck!

the teacher is very quick with his email. he will answer any question regarding the work. it is pretty straight forward. there is a lot of writing. only a midterm and a final. you will receive a study guide before the test. take test at the W bldg. make sure 2 study for the test. the questions on the study guide are exactly what is on the test.

I can use one word to describe this class: BORING. He is monotone and tries to make it funny but I didnt think his jokes were that funny. Ethics in Human Services is mandatory if you are in the human services major, so bring your laptop and tablet to keep yourself awake. If you study his study guides, you should make an A or B in his class.

Took this course in the spring. Class was not difficult at all. 3 multiple choice exams and one essay. Everything that's discussed in class is on the test and he goes over each topic thoroughly. Used the book more as a reference. Great instructor who knows his stuff, has written tons of books, and is a big player in this field. I've learned a lot!

I really enjoyed this class and the material choice for the class. It was easy reading except for Plato to Derrida. Communication w/in reasonable time. Testing was on the material read and discussed making test questions familiar unlike other classes that make you wonder if you were even in class for that lesson. I Recommend this online class.

Cohen is fast with emails. I didn't have a problem getting an A. Just read what is assigned, turn in papers when due, and study the guide he gives you. He sets you up to succeed if you do the work!

Dr. Cohen answered all my emails in less than one day. I did a lot of writing and reading but the biggest concern is just formatting the paper correctly. Study guides are awesome as they coincide perfectly with the text. If you read what he assigns you will get a good grade.

Signed up for Professor Cohen for HUS2500 Online for the Summer 1 semester and it was great. He gives a clear syllabus that has dates that he put in for you to stay caught up while reading the chapters, his exams are from his study guides, and hes a very helpful professor. If you study, do the discussion posts, and read the chapters you will pass.

One quiz worth 10 percent of grade, two exams, discussion boards and one paper. Quiz is an easy A. Gives clear outline for midterm and final, but they are still hard and both are proctored. Discussion boards are given every week but not too bad. The paper is 1000 words. Lots of reading!

Great instructor. Just show up, pay attention and put your two cents in on some class discussions and you should do ok. Books were required but don't think I opened them much, even though he would assign readings from them, still got an A.

Professor Cohen was great! He laid everything out for you and always made himself available when needed. I would definitely take him again!

This was a VERY easy class. Easy A! The catch is, you have to sit through long boring lectures. He types all class notes into Word and then before a test he posts the file on blackboard. There was a paper and a few very easy tests (as long as you paid attention) Also, what's on the study guide, is what's on the test!

Dr. Cohen is great! Hes very insightful and has a brilliant brain. The class is easy, just show up and read the book.

Loved this class! 3 exams, 1 VERY EASY quiz, and 1 paper to do (does not have to be in essay format). Exams are super easy as long as you do the study guide. Participation matters only if you're trying to get extra credit for doing the discussion boards. Otherwise, I would totally recommend this class!

Everything is from the textbook he wrote himself. I recommend getting the textbook online thru kindle so you're able to search the book for terms on the study guide. Really easy concepts, very passionate guy- a good class to fulfill the AA humanities requirement.

took online ethics class and the class itself wasnt hard but like any other online course it is self taught. He gives you a schedule and reading assignments and the rest is up to you. You must buy the text book or you will not pass the course. (this saved my life) As long as you do your readings you will pass.

Mr. Cohen is generally a straightforward professor. Read the book material, take notes, pass the 3 - 4 tests, do the essay and it's an "easy A." He is very passionate about the subject of ethics and its theories, probably due to the fact that he's well known publisher. The class discussions can be interesting depending who's in the class.

Dr. Cohen is the best professor. his class is super easy with 1 paper & 3 tests that he literally goes through before handing it out. he's super passionate and knowledgeable about the subject matter he teaches as well as being super successful and decorated through many published books and scholarly articles. Mr. Cohen was one of the best teachers I've had in a while. He is willing to help the best way that he can. He gives you extra credit oppurtunities. Going to class is mandatory because sometimes he gives you group projects to do in class. He tells you exactly what you need to know on the exams. Listen to his lectures and you'll do great.

Dr. Cohen was a good choice for ethics in healthcare. There is One case study due midway through the semester which helps boost your garde. He provides study guides for exams which were just like the tests and goes over them before the test. If you show up to class and put in a little effort this class is an easy A. would 100% recommend Dr. Cohen.

Maybe it was the fact that I happened to be in a very vocal class, but every class was discussion based and interesting. He's incredibly understanding and caring and I strongly encourage people to take this class. Absolutely loved you Professor Cohen!

Professor Cohen was a great teacher for my class! We had one syllabus quiz which was super easy, one paper, & 3 exams including the final. He gives out study guides the week before class, and he's super easy to talk to if you have any questions, and helps you out! Just show a bit of interest & respect and study the guides & you'll pass no problem!

Professor Cohen is honestly the best instructor I have ever had. He has inspired me to achieve more than I ever felt I could reach. Without him I wouldn't have taken an interest in ethics.

Professor Cohen is great. You do have to buy his book because that's where his assignments are from. Very intelligent. Before every test he did a review which was helpful and his tests are easy if you study. Would definitely take again. Doesn't leave any hw except for his case study assignments which are cake.

Professor Cohen is the best professor you could take for ethics! Very passionate about the subject and does well at explaining everything in a way that is easier to understand. He is nice and easy to talk to and asks lots of questions to students in class to get their point of view. Gives a good study guide for tests just pay attention in class.

I took Dr. Cohen's course online, and I really enjoyed it. I did have to get in touch with him at one point, and he got right back to me. His discussion boards were interesting and his tests followed his study guides. I would definitely take a course with him again.

Great teacher if you're needing a Humanities class easy A!!!! the only book needed is the rational therapy book. Also, 2 tests 1 midterm proctored and 1 final which is not proctored, and 1 essay. Gives a study guide a week before the test which mirrors his own tests and the study guides are on Quizlet both the midterm and final already filled out.

Extremely good teacher, genuinely cares if his students are learning the material and will go into as much detail as needed, communicates his points extremely well. Also his study guides are EXACTLY like the tests it is impossible to fail.

Dr. Elliot is an amazing professor. He is well respected in his field. Coursework is only discussion posts every week, and only 2 exams are provided along with a term paper. Need to read the material on the book provided for the class as he asks questions and discuss with students. Once again, amazing and kind professor.
