when she 1st came in to class i was ready to run for dear life because she was acting like a sargent, but thank god i decided to give it a chance, for this was the best prof i ever had. dont get me wrong don't think she is going to give you an A just because you need it, you have to earn it like i did.one thing is for sure she is the best.

she is a very good professor,but you have to put in some effort. She is even ready to help you with any personal problem.she also gives valuable advice that helps.do not be afraid take her.

Ok, I'll admit, when she first walks into the classroom you think "I should get out of this class while i still can" but in reality she really is a great professor. She makes a few errors, but its understandable. One thing that she shouldn't do is get angry and defensive when students point out error on test but i reccomentd her if your a bio major

She was amazing! She really wanted us to learn about biology. She is tough and rough with you, but if you pay attention and keep up you will be fine. She is one of the best professors I have had. Study hard and show respect. Great teacher.

I was so scared of her the first day of class. it was like a bad army movie, but over time i began to love the class. i wish there were more teachers like her. she is always willing to help a student out if they are falling behind. she does give a lot of work so be prepared. take notes!!! i got an A in the course but i def worked for it

This was a very hard class. Had to read & take notes. Dr. Beaupierre is a great professor, but very stern. She does give a lot of extra credit and home work and you definitely have to write papers in her class, but all in all, it's worth taking her class. Just be prepared to study hard. VERY, VERY STERN! Tests are straight forward, but you have to study. READ before you come in to lab and lecture because she WILL call on random people and gets angry if you aren't prepared. Tests are long with essays, quizzes look like tests, you have 3 writing projects, you will be kept every minute of lab and lecture. You will work for your A!!

Tough professor, but fair with grading. She gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit. I could do without the racism, though. The offer was made for students to do research & she blantantly stated she only works with minorities, but encouraged the white students to seek out other professors for research opportunities. That's just 1 example. Sad.

If you don't get AT LEAST a B+ in her class, then you didn't put in the bare minimum required. She expects students to approach the course with a high level of maturity/seriousness so if you're not ready to work, don't take her class because she isn't afraid to verbally express her disappointment.

Excellent professor who wishes the best for her students only if they wish to learn. Took this class with a breeze but study really hard and earned an A. I f you are willing to sacrifice for the sake of your grades and future goals, then you will excel in all Bio related classes with her. A must take !

Not as hard as some people say. The lectures/labs are intense and she yells a lot unnecessarily. For exams, STUDY THE NOTES. That means dont miss class. Quizzes are like exams (over 1 hour). Gives Lab practicals and assignments. Be careful because she gives wrong info sometimes so read the book as backup. Tells you most essays on tests in advance

YOU HAVE TO READ YOUR TEXTBOOK, AND EVERYTHING ELSE WILL COME EASY. SHE MOTIVATES YOU TO WANT TO DO BETTER, AND SHE REALLY CARES ABOUT STUDENTS. I LOVE HER AND WILL DEFF TAKE HER AGAIN.

Make sure to read your textbook, notes and participate. She is such an awesome professor and will be always there for you when you need her. Thanks to her I learned a lot, and I can say that I'm prepared for the next class. She makes you work for your grade but its WORTH IT. Dr. B is one of the best professors that I have come across. Her class is tough, but you will be prepared for the next step. If you are looking to breeze through this course then don't waste your time and her time-take someone else. But if you are truly looking to learn about the human body and get some life lessons along the way, take her class.

Dr. Beaupierre is an amazing teacher. On the first day of class you'll probably wonder why you took her (bc she comes off intimidating at first) but then you really she is truly willing to help out any student who wants to learn! This isn't an easy class, especially not in the summer semester, but she is straight forward! Love her!!!

Great professor. I enjoyed her class but you do have to work for an A. However; no science course is easy, so be prepared to do your best and you will pass.

Professor B is probably one of the greatest at BMCC. She really motivates you to want to do well in her class. The first day, come with a syllabus and brush up on your ANP 1.. You will have to attend and participate. At the beginning of the semester, you'll wonder why you took her class, but at the end you will KNOW why! AMAZING

THE BEST professor I've ever had! She'll kick your butt all the way through and your head will spin 100 ways til Tuesday but you WILL learn and she is ALWAYS there, for any student, at all times! Highly recommend taking her but she is not for the faint of heart so be prepared to WORK!

Dr B was amazing! She is helpful and available if you need additional assistance with the material. GET READY TO WRITE. Be prepared with reading ahead of class b/c she likes to pick on random people to answer her questions. KEY- study her packets she hands out they will be the bulk of your test. Good luck!

Shows her dedication but shows that she really cares for her students. She pushes her student to get As and Bs. Also you feel her passion of need that it means a lot for her to lead us into our careers to be successful and knowledgeable for what well soon become.

One of the best prof here but a lot of work

She can be mean and harsh but inside she cares for her students. She stays in school until 7PM or late in case any students may need help. Some may not like her attitude but for me, it helped push me to work harder. Make sure to read cuz she will call you out. Be prepared for every class!! Her tests and class are hard but you cant pass w/o reading.

CONS-By far the most stressful class I've ever taken! A LOT of reading & if U skip class w/o a doctors note U won't make it. U HAVE TO STUDY and participate to pass! PROS- Dr. B is one of the most caring professors I've ever come across, Period! she acts tough but will go out of her way to help students. Go to her office 4 help, she's always there

Professor Beauperri is the best professor at BMCC. No exaggeration she is an amazing person. Always happy and lovely! And her lectures were better than I had in Science classes Professor Beauperri, God bless you a million times! I hope that BMCC could have more professors as you are. Who encourage the students to be more confident's by themselves.

She is a a rockstar, very authoritative but let me tell you that she is the one that will teach you anatomy so good that no one else can match. She is a very fair person as well, as long as you try and do the work you will get a good grade. Recommended!

Dr. B is an amazing professor she teaches for life. She really loves science as she is one of the best at teaching science at BMCC. She is a caring and loving professor, she will always advise students to focus and to always reach higher. I really learned with her. She help students a lot by giving opportunities of office hours. She is the best professor of you consider to learn

Tough professor, but it will all be worth it. Attend class and pay attention and study ALOTTTTT and you will be fine. She is caring about her students just make sure to do your part.

I took her for Fall2020 and I must say she is very caring towards her students. she is very strict and tests all the time before class. I did learn a lot, but be prepared to every class! you do not want to look dumb.

Though tough on the outside she is a gem on the inside. You might want to drop her class on the first week but stick on, she is a really great professor and you will learn a lot and get your money's worth and plus. She is available above and beyond her working hours and will always update you on your progress.

You will want to drop this class on the first day but her toughness is just an act. she is by far one of the most caring people I have ever met. you WILL learn and you will retain info if you listen and do the work. take her class if you want to be successful. the first week or so is ROUGH but it was the best class I have EVER taken.

She is a very fair professor, her lectures will keep you on your toes and all the answers for her exams are given if you pay attention and take very careful notes. She will not surprise you on her exams, although they are very long the questions are straight forward. Her labs are very simple, and informative. Dr. B rocks! BTW:No HW, just easy labs

Prof.B is one of the best professor you will come across with. You have read before lecture make sure know your staff. Taking good notes are the key to pass her class. If you pay attention and take good notes at end you will the result.

AMAZING Dr. B. is the best Professor i ever met. i will take her next BIO426. she will make sure you know the material. a lot of home work, but the class is easy and fun. it is 100% worth it.

Dr. B is tough but she is preparing you for your career. She means well. Took her class during first half of summer online. She faithfully set aside a couple of hours on a Sunday for tutoring/review every week! This is unheard of. 1 paper is required and she gives lots of extra credit. Be prepared for class and read ahead. She will call on you!

Dr.B can come off as harsh but she's just truing to prepare you for the real world. She is very caring and very smart you just have to show her that you also care to get a good grade in her class!! Be aware that she picks on students during lecture to answer questions she asks a lot of questions and will embarrass you if you can't answer.

Professor B , is a really nice teacher although she can come off a bit harsh thats just her accent , she makes the class easier than usual biology courses for students so that we can pass , shes a very caring teacher .Lots of lab work , a few group projects, and extra credit . Doesnt respond to emails and has a hard time with blackboard.

The best instructor you can ever have. She is very PASSIONATE about teaching AND CARING. I have learned a lot because of her efforts. I had science professors back in days who sat in their chair do nothing and waited for their pay checks to arrive with zero effort they spent.

Professor Beaupierre was one of the best professors I had throughout my college experience. A lot of professors don't care whether or not you pass, but she did. You can go to her if you need help. To me, she explained the course material the best. Just study and do well on exams. I learned so much. if I could I would take her again 10/10!

This is not a wing it kind of class. Must be prepared before her class! Read before class, pay attention, ask questions and you will pass. She understands students have different circumstances and that is why she is dedicated to helping you learn. Only professor I know who has had zoom review after hours, weekends and holidays!

This professor has been by far the best professor I've had at BMCC hence this review. It can be a challenging course but she cares a lot about her students and wants to see you succeed. She gives you a lot of materials to aid you in the course so just make sure you read and take down good notes. It was an accelerated course but I learned so much!

She explains throughly & is very detailed.Yes the class in general was tough and ALOT of information to retain but if you are respectfully participating and willing to learn she will take her time to make sure her students understand what's going on and takes her time to work with you to achieve success. I took prof Beaupierre BIO 425 class in Spring 2022 and that was the best decision ever, she has been the most amazing professor I have ever had. She is caring, she gives tons of extra credit, she pays attention to your participation in class, wants you to succeed and she will help you to get there. I absolutely recommend her, you will learn a lot.

Ignore all the low ratings. This is the first professor I've seen that showed so much passion and care for her class. Shes tough on the students but thats good. She is preparing students for the medical field. I took her A&P Lab and she was extremely thorough with her lessons. Be prepared in class and you'll succeed.

Be honest to yourself and if you don't want to put in work, don't take her. Participation matters and she usually have pop-up quizzes (not graded) before a lecture session starts and those helped us a lot to retain the information from previous lecture. She is very dedicated and passionate about teaching and definitely wants you to succeed.

Honestly she is an amazing educator. She really cares. Yes, she does go on tangents but its because she cares. She doesn't like laziness and she knows when y'all don't study. She does a lot of active recall and asks us questions so we can learn. Listen, study, and go to tutoring!! Also if you can go to tutoring! She's really great there too.

Dr.B is an amazing professor. I didn't take her class (I wish I did) but I came to her tutoring (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) a couple times/week and she is the reason I aced my class. She makes you learn for life not only for the exam bcs she is a healthcare provider (dentist), she teaches you what you need to know in life as a future healthcare provider.

She makes you work for your own good. Review your notes before you come to next class because she will ask questions which I find very encouraging & motivating. Dr.B snaps my brain to "wake up" and function, like come on chop chop!! She refreshes your memory and makes sure you hear her lecture in your head at all times even in your sleep.

Dr Beaupierre is an excellent teacher who has been teaching a lot of students in BMCC this is my second time taking her class and she is a really nice person she may not be perfect but she is a very good teacher.

She is not acting but SHE IS above us because she is IN FACT is an experienced professor and we are learning from her. The way she is always available and cares for her students are above and beyond. No other professor in BMCC has done anything like her. NO BODY. If you're ungrateful for her, just withdraw from the class, you don't deserve her.

In higher education, some professors are wholeheartedly invested in providing students with opportunities to live a better life. Dr B creates clinicians and researchers. Is she perfect? She creates her own zoom meeting to tutor us outside school, also on the weekends, up till midnight, sometimes up to 2 AM, especially during exam/finals week. When I tell you she's above and beyond, that's how much. I am so grateful for her and respect her so much. God bless Dr.B!

Dr Elsie is amazing teacher first of all she teaches you in a way that you can understand her class really well is she tough yes because she actually want you to learn something from what she teaching you she respects her students she never make you feel uncomfortable that has been my second time taking the class and I really like how she teach.

If you are taking Anatomy & Physiology, you need to take Dr. Beaupierre. She is truly a gifted professor, One of the very best. Her presentation style is very straightforward even for the most difficult concepts. Of course, there is a lot of work but hell this is Anatomy & Physiology and if you don't want to work, don't take science classes.

Dr. B is very knowledgeable and kind person. She explains the material well. I learned a lot in her class. The class is not easy but she helps you with extra credits and good review sheets to improve your grade. Participation and attendance matters.
