I greatly enjoyed having Dr. Eivazova as a Professor. She is extremely knowledgeable in her field, and it was pleasure learning from her. She made it clear how each topic fit into the course, and encouraged us to think critically. The course was a lot of fun. By far, it was my best learning experience from Columbia State CC.
She is a good teacher. She has an accent. She likes group work. She assigns do it yourself graded work during class time. She does powerpoint lecture for most part. She'll post and let you print them out if you want. She will help if asked. The tests are not hard, just multiple choice or true false.
I love this professor. She actually makes it a pleasant experience, even though there is a lot to learn. She posts power point lectures in advance which are very helpful. The tests are not very hard. Great class!

The class is awesome. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. She posts lectures and study guides and we watched lots of educational videos. I learned a lot.
Dr. E is a very informative professor. She does talk with a slight accent, but catch on easily as to what she is saying. If you study, her tests and quizes are fairly easy. She likes to make you think critically. She posts powerpoints that are very helpful. Dr. E made going back to college a great experience for me!
Dr. Eivazova is one of my all-time favorite teachers. She is extremely intelligent (she has a Ph.D!). Columbia State is fortunate to have an instructor of her caliber.
This professor doesn't just give you an A for being there. She will always help you if you ask. She takes the time to meet with you and is always fair.
I took three different classes with Dr. E. I enjoyed all of them. She is my favorite professor at Columbia State. API is a hard class but I loved every minute of it.
She was not helpful at all and does not let anyone give an answer without her saying it's wrong and putting her input in. We would have the right answer, but she always made it so we were wrong!!
This professor is simply the best! She is very helpful and her lectures are very clear. She likes group work assignments and gives extra points if you do well on them.
Dr. E is brilliant. She's tough and no-nonsense. The material is hard, so she is tough to ensure we as students have the foundation for the medical careers we are seeking. Goes by her PowerPoint's, study those and you'll pass. CSCC should be proud to have a professor of this caliber with her background. Taking her for A&P 2 next semester.
I had Dr. E for AP1 and AP2, you have to work hard to get an A as there is a lot of material. Tests are off her PowerPoints. Group quizzes in Lab. Very knowledgeable (PhD) and won't tolerate disrespect, naturally who would. Accent is not hard to understand, don't be intimidated - she will help you know your stuff to pass the tests. Great Professor!
I took Dr. E's summer AP 1 class and it was INTENSE. She is absolutely no nonsense and will not tolerate tardiness, absenteeism, ringing cell phones or any manner of disrespectful behavior. I would highly recommend her to any student who is willing to work very hard. Good luck!
Had for Biology lab. Usually belittles you for asking questions and definitely makes it apparent that she thinks you're stupid. Even if you make an A in the class.

Great Teacher! I loved taking her class. She has an accent, so she might be hard to hear, but its okay. She teaches off her power points and you can print them off and follow them through class. Make note cards to study!!! They will help:)
I always had a hard time hearing and understanding Dr. E so I usually copied the notes online. The class wasn't exactly hard; I just didn't really enjoy Dr. E because of the way she talked to other people. She was a great overall person, but there were some days, I swear, she would spit fire if she could.
She is tough, but extremely fair. If you put in the work and study regularly the class isn't too hard. If you don't take anything seriously she definitely notices and isn't afraid to call you out in class. Overall I really enjoyed her teaching style (tests are almost completely based off her power points and lectures) and the class itself.

Dr. E is an amazing professor! She really tries hard for her students, day-in and day-out. She is always accessible and can always be talked with about stuff you don't understand or aren't clear about. I have taken 2 classes with her so far.
She is very thorough... All lecture and EVERYTHING is off of her power points ... Quizes are constant and they are always 10 questions and not super easy. The tests are all 50 questions and still difficult even if you study hard. You had better have a GREAT memory to retain info
Dr. E is the best professor I had in college. He is tough but fair with his grading. Excellent at explaining, and will go out of his way to ensure you know the material.
DrE is a very nice lady. She really into class participation and takes time to know her students. Lecture is bases on her ppt slides, 3 exams, and a final. Is he tough? yes. She will help you with whatever you need.
DR. E is a great professor/teacher ! If you are in class and listen to her lectures and study as you should from her power points its not a problem to get an A . You literally have to not study and not read her PowerPoints to get below a B . She is great at describing things thoroughly .
Never felt lost or unsure of what was goin on. The teacher was always accessible. Plus, she really knows her subject well and you can tell it's important to her.
When students ask her questions, she is publicly belittling, and still does not give an answer. Labs feel like a waste of time as she leaves you to look at models on your own, in groups of 4, with only 2 models to go around. Teaching is vague.. She forgot we had a test once and took zero responsibility.
All lab tests come from the lab guide and all class tests from the powerpoints; if you study those, this is the easiest class ever. I see a lot of people who only do one of those and they seem to have a very hard time. Otherwise, she always explains really well if you ask her to point something out. Make sure to ask! She has a cool English accent
She is AWESOME. She is Eastern European so you cant be offended by her. She is funny and if you study her powerpoints its an EASY A. if you dont study and take notes you wont pass. I took her for 2 of my biology classes and would take her again for sure. It doesnt get better than DR E.
Dr. E is a nice lady who is actually pretty funny, too. She knows her subject really well which is very respectable. However, I feel that she made some students afraid to ask for help because she was belittling when students would ask a question. The test materials come straight from labs/lectures. It seems like it'd be easy but I had a hard time.
Dr. E is not the worst professor you can get, but not the best either. When asking questions, she isnt clear in her answers and can be belittling. If you dont participate, she can get passive-aggressive. Attendance is mandatory, but seems unnecessary because she just reads off of slides, which are also posted. She is hard to contact out of class.
Great professor, great class
DrE is intelligent and funny. I took her for BIOLI and II and absolutely loved her. Her lecture ppts and study guides are great. She is a great teacher. I am taking her Biol Research next semester.
Dr E is a great professor, I loved having her class! Wish there was more homework or quizzes, but your grade basically came down to the unit tests.
Dr. Eivazova, is a wonderful lady! She is very passionate about biology and that comes through in her lectures. If you care about the class and learning, then you will definitely see that reciprocated. She pours herself into the students who care.
Dr. E truly cares about her students and will do her best to help everyone succeed. She tries to make her powerpoints as interesting as possible and encourages participation during lectures.
Extremely intelligent professor, however her style of teaching is very hard to grasp. She moves very quickly & doesnt understand student needs at all.
Show up to class on time & don't miss. Ask questions and participate in class/lab. Exams come straight from her lectures, skip the textbook. Print her PowerPoints before class and take notes on what she says that's not on it. Lab practical exams are exactly from what you do in lab. Maybe one homework assignment for the semester and it's an easy A.
Such a good teacher! All you need really is the powerpoints (quizzes and tests) and lab guides (lab tests), and youll be set. Read and study both! I got an A that way. Otherwise, if you have any questions she always takes time for you
Hard to access. Multiple mistakes with online classes. Unclear deadlines. Rude and unprofessional. Will not go over weakness or tests or give overall feedback. Lacks of compassion towards student and teaching. Difficult to understand why she is even a teacher when she does not care to help student with concepts and doubts.
Personally, she was not my favorite and I don't think anyone in the class enjoyed her much either. She has a thick accent that made it kinda hard to understand her. While the course material was easy the lectures were very boring and usually pointless since everything was posted online. She was alot more strict and harsh than anyone else at CSCC.
I was frustrated 95% of the time. She didn't seem like she wanted to genuinely help. we are online for Covid and had to download multiple computer softwares that didn't work and she just blamed your direction following. She is rude & talks about your personal emails in front of the class instead of just answering. 10/10 would not recommend.
Great Professor! She could be tough but always fair and more than willing to help. Just make appointment if you need help. Pay attention to syllabus!
Most people who have trouble in this class seem to overthink it or just don't do anything. Come to class and read the lab guide for the lab tests and the powerpoints for the class tests. That's it, all you have to do. Yes it's anatomy so there is studying, but really this class is as straightforward as it gets! Also, Dr. E is super nice
There's another comment on here complaining that like we only had tests, but this professor did kahoot quizzes in class and handout assignments. Really just read what you're told to read and pay attention, you'll get a good grade. That's what I did! I really liked this class and this professor, gonna take her again next semester
Everything is online now. Lecture can be kinda boring, but she will do reviews before exams with Kahoot which can be very helpful and fun. Sometimes she's hard to understand but ask her any questions and she will have a clear answer. She provides great notes and study material to go along with the textbook chapters. Group projects still exist.
Dr. E is very intelligent but did not do a good job of teaching an online class. She was condescending at times and was not always willing to help. The class was not over-all difficult, it was pretty straight forward. Just study the lecture and lab notes. She was also difficult to comm. with outside of class. She did not understand student needs.
Her zoom class during the pandemic was bad, and I bet her offline classes are worse. She talks down to students. She is not helpful. She does not explain things in a way everyone can understand. It takes long for her to answer her emails. The only reason I am doing well in the class is because of the notes in online campus, not her teaching.
This class was taken online, and I would not have been able to handle the class on campus. She would talk down to us sometimes, and would even raise her voice at the simplest questions one of the students had. During the lectures, I sometimes would not be able to understand what she was saying, so I mostly studied off of the notes she provided us.
Do not take her for this class. She is rude, she lies, she changed your grade if you dont plan to take her for another class. She will talk down to you, make you feel dumb, and is very scattered. Not worth the money you spend on a college class!
The most petty and immature teacher Ive ever had. She makes students feel like a burden for asking the simplest of questions and asks snarky rude questions in return. Every class she looked one step closer to giving up and showed no enthusiasm in her students or lectures Most classes she had nothing to say so she just read off random lecture sheets

I'm an online student and her English is ok it's just hard to understand what she is trying to say. I believe she told us to measure water in inches for a lab one time. Not a quick responder to emails at all, which is one of the worst qualities to have as an online prof. Rude, not helpful, unorganized, wouldn't take again. Don't expect help
I took this class online with my best friend. He kept trying to submit his assignments late (idk) and she extended the deadlines 4 or 5 times for him. But not after that. Basically don't try to take advantage just because it's online. The class was super simple, it's mainly around tests. Everything you need to know is in the guides and lab handouts
This was one of the highlights of my semester and my second time taking this research class (it's repeatable). Dr. E is outstanding. If you're looking for a good research experience for med school (or vet), you won't regret taking this class. Almost impossible to get anything lower than an A too
Dr. E is so amazing! Her lecture style is easy to follow, everything you need is in the handouts and lab guides. If you study these you'll know exactly what's on the tests. A&P's hard but she made it super easy!!
Dr. E is a phenomenal professor for students who take their grades seriously. I would take Dr. E for every class if I could.
This is definitely a hard class but it was the best class Ive had. Dr. E is very nice and helpful and she expects you to do a bit of work. She likes group projects and assignments and gives extra credit. couldn't ask for a better teacher.
Dr. E is one of, if not my favorite professor I've ever had. She is more than willing to help students and happily answers any questions. She encourages curiosity and wants her students to succeed. The class material itself isn't the easiest, but like I said, she is there to help if you ask for it and put in the work. Highly recommend her class!

Dr E is an amazing teacher. She is funny, asks questions to make you think, and her lectures keep me interested. She really cares and does everything she can to make sure students do well. She is very supportive.
She knows a LOT about what she teaches about and she loves when you ask questions and become involved. She always asks questions in class so make sure that your class isn't boring.
This woman is very rude. She will talk down to you when you ask her a simple question. She doesn't have a firm grasp of English and it shows in her emails (which she takes 2-3 days to write and send). I don't know if her in person class is an improvement or not, but the truth is it doesn't matter. Dont trust the 5 star reviews they are probably her

This professor constantly talks down on students and is not willing to help students. Quizzes are solely done through kahoot for some strange reason. I have never been more confused more in a class.
She is one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Don't take her classes. She's very rude and not helpful at all. Her exams are honor locked and very hard. You also have to do labs every week and her grading is very harsh.
If I could give her 0 stars I would, she probably tops the worst professors ive had in my years at school. If you ask her for help or to point out anything you could work on she just says figure it out yourself and is constantly belittling students. Many students had to drop this class because of her temperament.
The quizzes, lectures and and group stuff can all be done online, which is great!! There are no set meeting times which is good for me since I work fulltime. We get lots of feedback and lets you resubmit late work if you ask, I wish I could take her for BIOL1120, shes great

I loved Dr. E. She is one of my favorite teachers. Make sure that you study for her tests or you won't pass. Take more than a week to study for tests, its a lot of material and when honorlock comes on some students forget what they are doing. If you have a question she gets back to your in 24h. Extra credit given at the end of the semester.
BIOL1110 is an asynchronous online course. DrE provides lectures notes and study material to go along with the textbook chapters. Group projects still exist. Hands on labs are great. Stay organized and you will pass.
Most people who get bad grades just don't do anything. Come to class, read the lab guide for the lab tests and the powerpoints. That's it, all you have to do. Dr. E is super nice. She gets out of her way to help you. Also, she gives extra credit.
She was not a good communicator. She lacked empathy. She wanted you to look at notes she wrote and the textbook, which is fine. But what wasn't fine, was that her notes had incorrect information and were extremely confusing. She also was never any help. Just told you to read carefully. 0/10 tbh
would not take her class again 100%, her class was not it. she would point out students for asking questions or even when walking out to use the bathroom. it's all powerpoints and you basically have to teach yourself and it's that i took in person class. you can barley hear her talk too. if you need help she won't really help you out.
Great professor that makes sure you understand the material. Very caring amazing teacher, enjoys her job.
She just stands there and reads the power points, sometimes even skips 2-3 slides. You have to teach yourself everything and she doesn't help. If you want to go to the bathroom she will lock the door and tell you to get security if you want to get back in. Your better off taking A&P online because she doesn't do anything.
I had DrE for Micro and AP.She has passion for the material and will help anyone. She is an amazing, supportive professor.
Awesome teacher. All assignments and tests are online. Her labs are fun and easy to do at home. You can probably get a C without too much work. I have a job, kids, and school and i got an A!
She is confusing in her assignments, tends to leave out important information. Anytime email is sent to ask for help she is rude and doesn't give help. No flexibility regardless of the emergency. Very disappointed in her methods and her lack of understanding and compassion for her students.
Literally the worst teacher. I'm writing this and I'm not even done with her class yet if that gives you any insight. Only take this class if you want a teacher who gives unclear directions on labs and then takes points off when you can't read her mind. If you ask a question, her answer will be less clear. I am begging you, don't take her class.

Worst class I have ever taken
I had Professor E. for both Micro and A&P. She is absolutely amazing. She likes group work, gives extra credit and even helps you outside of class. Best professor I've ever had.
Genuinely the worst professor I've ever had. Her syllabus is wrongwith dates, so you don't know when real deadlines for assignments are. She does a horrible job of explaining anything, so you better hope you are on the same wavelength as her. Also, if you need any help of have any questions, she ridicules you for asking and doesn't even help.
I wanna start off by saying she's ok. She has a slight accent and talks quietly.. she does long lectures for the entire period and loves to call students out for struggling. She's the type of instructor that i couldn't go to if i was struggling due to how rude she can be with her shady remarks. Also she does quizzes on kahoot which was different.
I am in Dr.E's Honors Biology and she is the best. I love love this class. She is super helpful and will help you succeed. Her tests are strictly what she lectures. If you participate in class and study her lectures you will do well.
I took Dr. E for A&P 1 and A&P 2. She will literally go out of his way to help his student. Endless office hours and review sessions facilitated by Dr. E is why I was successful in her class. She is truly an amazing, supportive professor. With that being said, BE PREPARED TO STUDY!
Professor E. is one of the best teachers I ever had. The thing I like most about her is she is helpful and understanding to all students and situations. Some people do not like her class though because she pushes people to work hard and actually learn the material. If you don't care about learning and just want to pass, take someone easy.
Would not recommend her class. She quietly reads off PowerPoints without explaining anything clearly. If you ask questions, she'll belittle you in front of everyone. You end up teaching yourself since she can't. Her calendar is inaccurate, and quizzes on Kahoot are unfair. This class made me change my major.
Unclear directions for labs at times and refused to clarify until after the lab due dates. She took off 2 out of 10 points on a lab over a typo but gave 10/10 on other labs that I didn't try very hard on so her grading seems to be based on her stress levels/mood. She also does not grade in a timely fashion. Know the textbook information
This class could've been a valuable experience, but instead it was a living nightmare. Intelligence alone does not make an effective instructor; this course reflects that gap greatly. Praying for her current/future students.
The second class starts, ask for the digital lab directions. She does not provide accurate information or links to obtain it. If you wait, she will not email you back, and when Labs 4 and 10 come around, you will receive a poor grade.
