If there's one word to sum up her teaching style, it's BORING! It's all note-taking and very little in-depth information. If you don't memorize the notes completely, you won't do well on the tests. She's strict about small things like spelling, too. I would recommend finding a better BIO teacher on RMP.

Not a very good teacher. She would just write the notes on the board and that was that. The tests reflected the notes, but they were unpredictable. A seemingly small topic would be made into half the test! It's just her style, though, I suppose. I did not enjoy the class.

She single-handedly ruined my 4.0GPA, and also kind of snuffed my interest in Biology altogether. Tests went too into specific details about things, so specific that you never got a chance to learn anything worthwhile. I was a 4.0 student, who studied hours and hours for tests, and still got a B+. Painfully boring lectures. Very very disappointed.

Lectures are clear and tests are straight from her notes and what she says in class. She is strict about the grading system, but she makes that clear the first day and she is fair about it. She won't raise your grade, not even a little, but she does help your average by dropping the lowest grade and giving (minimal) extra credit opportunites.

She is a VERY harsh grader! I thought people were being dramatic at first, but it's really that horrible. She is not flexible at all. Discussions, review sheets, and tests do not connect. She is very fixated on people using ai and plagiarizing, it shows that she does not trust her students. There were 11 people left by the end of the class. Avoid!

Clear grading rubric, all due dates posted, answered emails, structured, + very detailed study guides. It did take hard work, watch the videos!! Discussion posts didn't really relate to material but were not hard. The tests do require effort, but the study guides really help. Very timely w/grading. Fixed grade on test w/wrong answer. She was great!

This professor is the worst professor I've ever experienced. She uses Lockdown browser and turn it in for papers. She accuses people of using AI for discussions and paper. She treats this class as an honors class which it is not. Her review sheets and lectures don't match up with her tests. She never gave out course evaluations and now I know why.

The class was average for me since it was asynch. She assigns a few papers and has you do discussion posts. My only complaint is that she gives little time for the tests. There was like 88 questions and you had 90 minutes to complete it. She drops the lowest test core so that was nice. I didn't find the workload overwhelming either.

Took her asynch for the class and it wasnt the worst. I think theres like 4 tests in total which are all lockdown browser, and then you have discussion posts, one research paper, and couple short writing assignments. My friend who has adhd was moving her eyeballs a lot during her test and got a 0 for allegedly cheating so sit still.
