okay..i never learned math properly because i always had horrible prof who didn't care. But paki..omg..he truly thought me the meaning of math and yea he might have a strong accent and come off as if he knows everything but in reality he is on his stuff when it comes to math..take him if your willing to go the extra mile. I got an A

PROF PAKI WAS A VERY GOOD PROF HE HELPED ME A LOT I HAD TAKEN THIS CLASS 2 TIMES BEFORE AND LOST INTEREST BUT WITH HIM I WAS ACTUALLY MOTIVATED TO COME TO CLASS AND LEARN. HE WAS VERY PATIENT AND EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO US HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR TUTORING WHEN WE NEEDED HIM. HE IS A VERY GOOD PROF I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM.

He is an amazing teacher, He knows who I am. Did an amazing job this semester under the circumstances my class was in. MUST take him, he will help you the whole way through, gave my class hope. Thankful for an amazing guy. He did his job PERFECTLY.

WOW.. I've never been good nor had confidence in myself to do well in math.. After a ruff start with a different Professor, Professor Paki took over our class and I actually learned and started gaining confidence that I could do well in math. He explains everything and takes his time with his students. Wish I could have him next semester.

Paki was a great professor. Came to class always prepared and with new techniques to help us understand new material. I was clueless about the basic math ( fractions, decimals ) But with the help of paki i passed the class. And he was also open to tutoring. I will miss him

The prof is helpful and funny. if you want to get an A you have to do all your work and if you dont understand you can ask him as many as you want.

Prof. Paki's love for teaching is a breath of fresh air. I've been in college for over 1 1/2 years, and he is by far my favorite prof at BMCC. Prof Paki makes success in Math possible. He won't settle for "I can't". His teaching style is truly amazing. I wish all my Prof had his attitude and outlook for teaching. 100% great Prof!

Professor Paki is a very good teacher. He will always take time with the students and answer any questions they may have. He usually stays after class a little while to help, and takes time to make sure you understand. Math has always been a tough subject for me, but I learned a lot from this class. I have learned quite a lot in Prof.Paki class. Math is mysterious and beautiful, and there are many approaches to solve problems. Although the book has a lot of details about nursing procedures, you will focus highly on the mathematical content with Paki. You will be using proportions, conversions, dimensional analysis a lot but it gets easier

He's an alright professor. Nothing good to say , yet nothing bad either.

Paki's a drill sergeant. He'll take you where you need to go in the curriculum and then blow right past. My next level was all review because he'd already taught the material. He teaches math theory not memorization and uses east & west methods. He plays favorites on the basis of who's putting effort in. Caveat, can be very stubborn in his methods.

Greatt Professor. you will be lucky to have him for math.

He's like a drill sergeant. However don't let that fool you, he's extremely helpful and caring. He makes you learn, could be stubborn but he means well. I failed his midterm but ace the final after that. I am very grateful with him. If I could take him again I would, although I better e in my p+q's :)

PAKI is hilarious. he seriously wants you to pass, if you fail any exams he tellsyou to go to his office to correct it. If you are failing or missing any work he lets you complete it any time. Great professor only thing is that sometimes he expects you to know how to do things but then he helps you. TAKE HIM IF YOU R A PROCRASTINATOR

Prof. Paki is very helpful to any student how ask for it, patient, sometimes rude if you are in his bad side. Has an accent but very understandable! Some students hate him for pointless reasons but that's because they are closed minded. He gives many multiple choice test, if you study you pass, also gives many options if you are not doing so well.

I'm having a great experience so far. I didn't know a question and he said "instead of saying you don't know THINK". And at first i was so upset because if i don't know, i don't know but then i took his advice and it felt good to figure it out for myself. And when i can't he's there to guide me and help me think like a mathematician.

I took paki for remedial 51 and 56 and this guy is amazing. Some people might say he's not a good professor but he's the best. he tells you straight up about the subject and what you need to know to pass. he believes that the remedials are a waste of time. if you need to pass the remedial that this prof. You'll pass and save money . NO TEXTBOOKS !

Prof paki's knowledge in mathematics is as deep as the abyss (Extra s because hes extra deep) and parallel to non. If you want to learn Mathematics in depth and with thoroughness, this is your guy. He truly shows you the beauty and elegance of the unfathomable science that is maths. If you stick with him, he will teach you the ways of the force.

Paki is a really nice professor. He makes it clear how the course is ran and that attendance is key for passing. There is homework (which he never collects) but there are a couple of tests. The class can be confusing at times but Paki ensures you pass. There is no textbook or online code needed to purchase for this class.

I have never enjoyed school as much as I did during Winter Semester with Professor Paki. Professor is very inspirational and encourages students to work collaboratively. He doesn't teach 1+12, for those problems you need a textbook. He created working environment and encouraged students to work after class hours. I'm proud how much I have learned

recently took a winter semester, and my confusion and angst with his teaching style was due to my own lack of preparation. He reiterates that you MUST study in order to pass. If you're not good at math do not expect Paki to be the teacher to perfectly explain everything on the first try. Remember, the first step to enlightenment is confusion!!

Took this professor over the summer. At first it seems hard and scary but all you have to do is work hard and stick it out. This professor pushes you to your greatest ability. He cares about your learning. My only problem was that the class was 4 weeks and that made it extra hard. We need more teachers like this that wants you to learn.

The best profesor ever

Hes a great professor that makes A lot of jokes and it very funny. I took his class over the summer and at first it was difficult but all you have to do is stay focus and do the work. Math is generally hard but he is such a genuine person he wants you to learn. Definitely take him he is a sweet gem.

He is a good professor, he helped a lot in the class. If you just answer even if you are not right that takes some points for the grading. Finals are easy.

Professor Paki is great and funny. Though the class was super long he would stop and give jokes here and there to wake us up. He cares about his students just make sure to participate even if not right he'll give you points and notice you're trying. This class is hard so try not to miss days or even 10 minutes of teaching cause you'll end up lost.

Would 100% recommend this professor! He made me love math and really got down to how math works and foundations of math. Compared to just how well you solve a problem. He grades on how hard you work in the class and not based if the answer is correct! Great detailed lectures. Kind hearted professor and he loves what he does and it shows! -Carolyn

This professor is great, he always encourages us to join college and stay in college. He Always understand how life is hard out side college and gave us more chances to submit our assignments. I am so proud of being his student for spring semester 2022.

Paki was is the best professor I have ever had in my life! He cares and teaches you the material. Not just paperwork. If you are scared of math, take his class. I will be taking Cal 2 with him as well and will avoid taking math with anyone else. Trust me, if you want to learn math and get a good grade, go with Paki!

Professor Paki goes above and beyond to help his students understand and learn mathematics. So much so, that if you don't understand a math problem, he'll be willing to stay after class to help and guide you to understand calculus. Professor Paki is the best math teacher, If you do your work on the right time, and be in class in time, he will give extra credits, I really enjoy being in this class and I will be in next semester with the same professor in calculus 1 class.

Although there is a lot of homework, i didn't mind it at all. He is very understanding and helps you out whenever you need it. His lectures were fun and he always made it less boring with his jokes. Definitely one of the best math professors at bmcc who actually care about his students and isn't eager to fail them over the smallest mistakes.

Professor Paki has been an incredible teacher to me this semester. I am a BMCC student transferring to a four-year college next year, and after taking his MAT 301 class, I feel very prepared. He is a great teacher but he gives lots of homework. As long as you do your homework on time he will never fail you.

This was a tough class, I did eventually have to get help from an outside tutor but paki is a good teacher he just has a unique teaching style that not everyone will understand. I enjoyed his class, he is so funny. He is a fair grader as well.

Prof Paki is great! He wants students to understand concepts in prep for future courses. I took Mat 206.5 & Mat 301 with him. These are HARD classes regardless of the teacher. Took Saturday class (long hours) but he jokes & makes class fun. Also, he's encouraging. DO the h/w - ask questions - watch the videos - participate in class & you will pass!

Paki is the best math professor ever! He is a genius and knows his stuff very well.
