At first he's funny but gets annoying pretty fast especially with the "im puerto rican" line and i don't agree with his views on certain topics and find it wrong of him to be so judge mental on issues when he does not know the entire story of current events. Mr. C no doubt is an amazing teacher. The way he uses his own experiences during lectures as examples isn't something most teachers do. Kudos to him for opening up to his students. This is one of the best classes I have taken. One will learn a lot with Mr. C he is a teacher that truly cares about the material and teaching. Mr. C, as he likes to be called, is a awesome teacher. He is really funny and expect joking from him. If you can't take a joke then I suggest that you don't take his class. He will tease you and everyone in the class. Just take all the notes, which is online, and do the homework and study and you will do just fine. Easy A!

Very fun and interesting class. Not too much reading, mostly notes. Attendance is required but can you may miss up to three times throughout the semester. The notes are listed on blackboard. Once a week there is participation class time called current events.

Really good discussion are a trademark for him but even more is his dynamic peraonality. He's an awesome teacher for first year students because he uses adult themes and concepts to hammer his point and it gets them out of the lazy mindset and gets them engaged. I highly recommend this course as it is a relatively stress-free as long as you do the (not too many) assignments to the best of your ability. He has a very informal and approachable teaching style. Mr. C is one of the most honest professors I have had the pleasure of learning from in Intro to Sociology he uses real life experiences to teach certain topics which makes class interesting. Mr. C's class really helps you analyze different sexuality and reflect your own. His lectures are engaging and his homework is easy as long as you look back on his slides. He has a big personality which makes his lectures so fun. He refers to the textbook sometimes but I got by fine without it.

He is an amazing professor, full of energy and hilarious which keeps the students even more interested in the topic being discussed in class. His humor makes my morning. Screw a cup of morning coffee, this guy will wake you up with his energy and jokes. I feel like I really learned something in this class. It was a perfect combo of personality and information.

Great course. Great professor. Hes a really relaxed and casual guy who mainly teaches through lectures and presentations. Just listen to what he needs to teach/say and do the homework (which really isnt much) and passing with an A should be almost effortless.

The only way you can fail Mr. Caban's class is if you're a lazy slob and don't try at all. His homework assignments and tests are straightforward, fair and he always reviews for exams with the class. Great sense of humor and no day in his class is ever boring. You will NEVER fall asleep in his class! Thumbs up to you, Mr. Caban!!!

Mr. Caban is such a great professor! This was his first time teaching Intro to Social Work and he did an amazing job. I had him as a sub last semester and I knew I wanted him as my teacher. This class has nothing to do with my major, I only took it because he was teaching it. He is great with homework and guiding you when it came to writing papers.

Mr. Caban is a phenomenal educator. On the very first day of class, he said, "The only way to pass my class is show up, and do the work." It really is like that. As for tests, you don't have them very often. When you do, he tells you EXACTLY what to expect. He is engaging and can really make you laugh. He teaches through life experiences. Easy A!

I have taken three of his classes. He is one of the greatest teachers Triton College has to offer. I value him so much as a person and he always looks out for his students. I took him three semesters in a row for the spring of 2018, during the summer, and for this fall. He always makes you feel welcomed and knows how to teach. He is outstanding.

This class was just straight up amazing. All you need to do is show up to class which is mandatory, do your weekly homework and show up to study days before exams and it's an easy A. He also gives a ton of extra credit. PSA his language is obscene but please be an adult and go with it, it's usually funny.

He is one of the best instructors at this college, hands down. So hilarious, and you're also able to talk to him about anything, and just be honest about it without having to censor it. The assignments are easy, but my favorite was the 7 page essay. Pick a movie, book, song, etc. and explain how it relates to the chapter(s).

Class is awesome as long as you show up for it there is no way you can fail it. Do the homework and you will pass no problem. The teacher is awesome and helps you out as much as possible. Great environment for learning.

I love taking Sociology 100 with Mr. C. Since this class was fully online this semester, he made sure to keep the class engaged. I love how he incorporated current events into the sociology class every week. He also gave a lot of extra credit and the homework assignments were fairly easy I would most definitely take another class with Mr.C.
