Great professor! his class is lecture heavy but his lectures are so detailed you don't really need the textbook for the first half of the class. He has a bit of an accent but it's not too hard to understand. He is willing to answer your questions and uses real life scenarios and animations to help you understand different concepts. He grades fair.

Professor Emilio Carrasco is the best professor I have taken so far. He is very smart and really knows his stuff. He lectures are very clear and if you don't understand something he is always willing to help you understand it. He makes the class fun and it's easy to learn everything by the way he teaches. Professor Emilio is hands down the BEST Anatomy and Phys teacher I have ever come across. Probably one of the best teachers at PBSC in general. He is detail-oriented in every thing he does, gives amazing stories and real life applications. He should be in charge of the Science department, he gives you so many study tools!

Professor Carrasco is simply amazing. Very well spoken & is able to elaborate difficult concepts regarding the content hes teaching. The course is very lecture heavy, so in order to pass you have to put in the time & effort to study. Do not slack because this course is not forgiving if you do so. Cant wait to take him for AP2!

Although it was his first semester here at PBSC, he did a great job in teaching the material. He goes in great detail about every slide and wants you to understand the concepts you will need for A&P 2. You don't really need to show up for class because he posts the powerpoints online, however in class he gives out mini quizzes that aren't graded.

Professor E is highly animated throughout his lectures (which can run over allotted time & are jam packed). Highly knowledgeable & will push you to learn. 6 quizzes 2 exams and the final. After midterm be prepared to have a quiz every week. I recommend taking him twice a week (i took him 1x a wk for a 3hr course) You'll definitely learn a lot :)

I learned so much from his class. He gives clear study guides on which to study, I solely rely on his study guides and read the books. Makes flashcards. some people said book is not necessary but the book help me follow his study guides and received 98 final grade. I wish I've taken him for ap1. It does require lot of studying though.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. He explained everything you needed to know in adequate detail. He gave study guides for every quiz and test that showed you everything you needed to know. Extra credit for perfect attendance and EC questions on every test and quiz. Its anatomy so obviously its gonna take work but I easily got a high A.

Dr. Carrasco is an excellent professor he incorporates real life medical situations he experienced while he practicing medicine in his country. I took him for 6 weeks during the summer for A&P1 we had a quiz or test every day. It was a lot of material to study but he Posted on the study guides we needed to pass his exams. He is a great professor. All powerpoints are posted with study guides and practice tests. Points for attendance, allows 4 missed classes before they're deducted. Great at lecturing, he is very passionate and it shows. Textbook is not needed for the class. Extra credit on quizzes and tests, they're all multiple choice. Study and you'll pass easily.

Prepare for tests and quizzes by going through his provided study guides and the supplementary chapter review matching, youll be sure to get an A in the class- as he gives lots of extra credit on tests and quizzes, and he takes out the lowest quiz. Professor Carrasco is such an amazing professor! I had him for AP 1 and he honestly made anatomy less difficult. You will have to work for a good grade but as long as you study the resources he gives you and put in the work, you will do amazing. He's also there if you need help and is accessible after class. 10/10 would recommend !

Do not be afraid to take him because of the few ratings. The 2 quizzes are easy and he states exactly what will be asked on the midterm and final practical exams. He is completely understanding and will be happy to answer, repeat, and clarify any doubts you may have.

Want an easy A&P class? Think about changing majors. The course material is dense and requires a copious amount of studying outside of simply showing up to class. Dr. Carrasco is passionate, really cares about his students, and that we understand the material. He gives you all the information to you need for exams. It's what you put into it.

Loved this professor, I took him for my first anatomy class while trying to work full time so i took his night class and he is beyond understanding and its is a easy A. He doesnt require you to attend every class and the homework and tests were super easy. Definitely recommend and will be taking him again for future anatomy classes !

Honestly. this professor made Anatomy and Physiology 2 lab easy to understand. He goes into full detail, and gives a lot of anecdotes to understand the material better. Every class he would give you notes that you would fill out and keep your notes organized. He is very eager to help and doesn't assign homework.

The best anatomy teacher! Took his class in person and was nervous because I didn't do well in anatomy 1, took him for anatomy 2 and got an A. 2 quizzes a midterm and a final. I wish he teaches Microbiology. His the best. I never like lab classes but he made it so easy to learn, he goes step by step and when it come to quizzes he made us took it online and for the test it was in class which if you read you won't have a problem with passing his class.

Professor C is good, straight forward, brings personal experiences as examples at times, communicates well with others. Lectures are long, fast writing needed, lots of reading and studying; very good at what he does making sure every question is answered. Gives you hints about what is on the tests and what to look out for.

Professor C is good at teaching his students, very thorough. Caring and understandings if students have an inconvenience. During review will tend to point out what is important for you to prepare yourself for your next quiz. Most definitely will be taking again for next semester.

His online class was cake. You had discussions and had to respond to peers. Tests were on Canvas no lockdown browser. You don't need the textbook. He gives ppts to access with audio for a lecture. The class was super easy.

He is a great professor. Material is very hard but he tries to help make it less intimidating. His tests are very difficult but forces you to really study. Don't take this class if you're looking for an easy A. He is really trying to prepare you for the medical field.

This class is fairly easy. Professor Carrasco's homework and tests are usually 50+ questions. If you try to finish them in one day you better prepare yourself because you will not be able to pause and finish later. Other than that, great professor and great class!

I have this class online. There is an assignment, quiz, and discussion due about every 2 weeks. I learn a lot through the discussions. The assignments can be a lot of questions, but overall straightforward and simple. Great online class. No late work is accepted, but we have plenty of time given to due it.
