Must attend class. She has an attendance sheet that she passes around so students can sign. She's very helpful and willing to answer any question. Do your homework and review it beforehand. Take lots of notes and review them because her exams are based on them. Overall, it is an easy A if you enjoy math.

Lectures are super long. she starts teaching without even saying hello. She gives alot of leeway on her tests though and genuinely wants you to do well. She drops 2 HW grades and your final replaces your lowest test score. She moves super fast but will help you if you go to her office hours.

She was one of the most helpful math teachers i have ever had. She was always more than willing to meet with me if i ever didn't understand a topic. IF you do the homework, and study for a good bit, you will get an A. Highly recommend her!

If you rate her low then you don't come to class and don't do your homework. Simply act like a college student and you will get an A or B.

Short tests, but they're easy if you actually go to class, do the homework, and STUDY! Her notes are clear and the tests and quizzes are almost identical to the notes we go over in class or practices she posts online.

She is very nice and definitely willing to help and very encouraging to students. She does fly through the material though, I could barely keep up with note taking and probably would have had a pretty hard time if I had not taken precalculus in high school.

The reason she does not get a 5 on easiness is because I took her for calculus 2, and that is not her job to make that class easy. She is probably the best math teacher I have had in a long time. She doesn't waste your time (comes to class, does examples, explains) and in general gives rocks. Overall. Respect and gratitude for her teaching.

Really awesome professor for Calc 2! Explained all concepts clearly with lots of examples, and if anyone asked a question over something from the lecture, she would go out of her way to find new ways to explain the concept to the student. 3 exams were spaced throughout the semester, followed by a final exam. Also gives credit for regular attendance

I did not take Calculus in high school but got an A. She went sort of fast but I went to class and studied and did well. I would recommend her. She is very helpful and has review sessions to help prepare you for tests.

She is a great teacher. Explains everything very clearly. She has a tendency to go too quickly through notes. However, if you tell her to slow down, she will. All she wants to do is help. Really cares about her students. However, you will never get out early. She uses up all of the time that she is given. Most importantly go to class!!

Very solid math teacher. Goes over lots of examples in class. She goes really fast but if you can keep up you'll do fine. Lots of tutoring opportunities and she is very sharp in general.

Prof Harmangruber is the bees knees. DO NOT miss her lectures. You will regret it for the rest of the semester. If you have questions, ask. She will stop class to make sure you understand. If you do poorly on a quiz, she will lets you retake it. If you want to understand Calc 2 and take something away from the class, this is the prof for you 100%

Professor H is a quality professor that knows what she's talking about. With that being said, she lectures extremely fast and if you can't keep up YOU WILL get lost but, she is readily available to answer all of your questions plus offers ample amount of opportunities to boost your grade. If you're willing to put in the work you will do fine.

Absolutely take Mrs. H. She is the math teacher I have had in my college career. I understand simple math better than I ever have after this class. If you out any effort forth in the class, you should get an A or B. She is also super nice in office hours. Write down everything she says though. Tests are not as bad as she says they are, just study.

Her lectures are very dense, but she is very intelligent and knows what she's doing. I'd recommend attending as many classes as possible. Her feedback on homework, quizzes, and test should tell you where to improve.

Very good lecturer, but moves very fast. Questions are your best friend, if you don't understand what she is saying, ask her. Calc2 is very difficult, but I found her to be refreshingly straighforward about it. If you keep up with homework and attend every class, the class is difficult, but doable. Skipping class regularly is a terrible idea.

If given the chance, please take Mrs. H. She has a very good understanding of the content and makes it easy understand the lessons. Although she moves quickly, which is only because she has to, she is more than willing to clear up any confusion mid-lesson, and if not then, then during her office hours. This professor will work with you if you will.

A great professor. Obviously calc 2 isn't going to be easy , but if you pay attention and put in the required work, an A is attainable. She's very accessible and a great professor overall.

Prof H is a good choice for taking pre calc. She is very straight forward on her tests (they pretty much match the questions she goes over in class). She does lecture fast and its easy to get lost but shes always asking the class if they have questions. Going to class will be your best friend because she offers extra points for attendance.

Professor Hartmangruber is fantastic! She is very clear with what you need to know for each test and the material is covered well in each lecture. Attendance is not mandatory but it is best to show up because the lectures are really in depth and informative. You can also get bonus points if your attendance is great at the end of the semester. 10/10

Hands down the best math professor at KSU. I am a math tutor and I have never heard one student say one bad thing about her. I took her class and really enjoyed it. TONS of examples. No crazy test questions. It is calculus 2 however so keep that in mind. If you HAVE to take calculus 2 DEFINITLY take it with her. Would be friends with her.

Lecture heavy, yes, just like any other course. This professor is the bast professor I have ever had. She grades super easy, and prepares you for every test and quiz. The practice tests and quizzes looks exactly like actual thing. You can re take any Quiz at any time and there is no online homework. she gives easy examples and formula sheets.

Ms. H is HANDS DOWN the best math professor at KSU. If you don't go to class, be prepared to fail. She can fly through lectures, but she was easy to follow and keep up with. I would take her again in a heartbeat. Her homework is NOT ONLINE (god bless no MathLab) and quizzes prepare you for her exams. TAKE HER!!!!!!!

For anyone that is taking Calculus 2 please God take her. She is the easiest and best math teacher Ive ever had. She is super nice and loves to help. She takes time out of her day to help you. If you have a chance to take her TAKE HER. Just do the hw and study the quizzes and hw for test. If I could take her again I would in a heart beat.

She is the best Calc 2 professor there is at KSU. you have to work for your grade but it is far more possible than some of the other professors. Do anything you can to get a seat in her class.

Great professor. She does several practice problems in class to prepare you for the exam. Calc 2 is difficult but go to office hours,SMART center, and SI .

TAKE HER CLASS. She's wonderful and everyone I've talked to says she's the best. Her lectures are dry but to the point. She tells you exactly what you need to study for her tests. She gives you a week for hw and quizzes. She puts practice quizzes online and they help a lot. You'll leave her class almost over-prepared for Calc 3.

This has got to be the best Calc 2 prof at KSU. She does not use online HW, and the HW she gives is the same type of problems you get on the test. Go to class, she spends most of the time doing examples. Take good notes, do HW, and study; youll leave with an A.

Calc 2 is hard, but this woman made it so simple. She's incredibly patient and accessible. She's kind of a tough grader, but she never gives you problems she hasn't taught. This was my easiest class this semester. The class average on the tests were usually 80-90. She's an angel.

She really wants you to succeed. Every kind of problem she will ever ask you about is similar to one she has taught you. Her homework is straightforward and on paper. She grades very in-depth, so you will know exactly where you went wrong. Unless you make a middle-school algebra mistake, she is very forgiving with partial credit. Best professor!

She's probably the best math teacher I've ever had. She explained everything in detail and had good examples as well as tips on how to remember certain things.

I take her college algebra class and she is a great teacher. She teaches pretty fast and won't return to the material from the previous day so make sure you pay attention and take notes. No study guide but goes over review the class before the test that is helpful. Also allows re-do on all quizzes.

Ms. H is a great professor, very willing to help and reply to question quickly. Take her for Calculus 2 and you will guarantee an A. The class can be boring, because all she did is write examples and do them. No proof of why the math happens, but like I said, she is fairly easy so take her.

Prof. Hartmangruber is an excellent choice when taking Calculus 2. She gives a ton of examples and works them out (2-3 Pages worth) for the class. She doesnt hesitate to answer or clarify questions. Her HW are sheets you print online. Her tests arent hard but it doesnt mean its a given A. Work hard and youll pass, she also has an SI assistant.

All you have to do is show up and act like a real student and you will pass with flying colors. She is amazing at teaching, and you can even text her questions about homework. TAKE HER.

Emily is an amazing professor who gives so many examples of each topic that you won't be caught off guard for the test. The whole class is lectures so GO TO CLASS, and plus you get an attendance bonus at the end of the year. Pay attention, study, and go to class and you will do great. Don't be afraid to ask questions she is very nice.

Dr. Hartmangruber is one of the best professors I've taken. She's very good at explaining concepts. She gives many quizzes with unlimited retake opportunities. There are 3 tests and a final exam as well as homework every other week. It's a hard class however, she makes it easier to understand. She has no problem in explaining concepts over again.

Ms.H is a professor that wants to see you succeed and gives the maximum help to actually understand the topics. Although she is a tough grader on tests, she gives tons of feedback on homework and explains the solutions thoroughly. I would highly recommend.

I took her during Fall 2019, I would have to said that she is an excellent choice. Her test is solid, the way she teaches is clear and effective. I used to take calculus AB in high school, some of the concept in its I have learn and struggle but when she reteaches it, everything make much more sense. Take her if you can.

Professor Hartmangruber is the BEST math teacher I've ever had. She explains concepts very clearly, and never gets flustered no matter how many times you ask her to explain something. Her lectures are pretty hard to sit through though, since they're long and she goes SUPER fast. Not too much homework and exams are straightforward!

Perhaps the best Math professor at this school. If you're the type of person who has to take Calc II but is generally bad at math, she is perhaps you're only chance at passing. This is because she reviews basic algebra concepts every time she uses them and tells you how to do each problem step-by-step. She'll be your saving grace.

Professor Hartmangruber is an excellent professor. I had her for college algebra on an course. She reteaches you everything you learned in high school, and is very helpful and caring. The class consisted of hw on ALEKS every week, 4 tests, and quizzes. She can be a little strict with some things, but overall a great prof.

She was great! It was a hard class for me, I had not taken a math class in a very long time. She was always available to help and answer questions. I loved how she validated students who asked a question in class and would follow up with them to make sure they understood. There is a lot of work in ALEKS but if you do it it will help you learn lots!

I love Ms. Hart. Listen to this review if you're planning on taking her, this is all you'll ever need. Her lectures are very fast paced, she is very understanding if you ask questions. My advice, pratice problems outside of class. Final replaces lowest exam, but for me it was all the lowest. You have to put in the work this aint no pleasure cruise.

This class wasnt bad at all and she worked through every problem step by step, even basic algebra. There were a bunch of in-class assignments + 3 tests and the final. Super easy to be honest. Her notes/assignments follow closely to her tests. Also a lot of Aleks homework but every class has that! She doesnt grade hard & gives partial credit

She is a wonderful teacher. She will answer questions like that, STUDY THE CLASS NOTES & ATTEND THE OFFICE HOURS & you'd able to catch up, bc she goes FAST. but you will learn a lot from her, because she is very knowledgeable, I would take her again and again and again. to learn what my current professor doesn't teach me, She's that freaking good

Great teacher, always kind. She was a good teacher teaching difficult material. This was my 2nd time taking this class and she explained it in a different way than my other professor which made me learn it better. Please come to class and do all the HWs on ALEKS.

she is a good teacher but talks the entire class nonstop very fast. you have to be able to keep up with her. she gives partial credit as long as you show your work, but also says attendance is not mandatory then proceeds to randomly give in class activities that are worth quiz grades. basically if you take her, attend every class.

She is a great teacher and her tests for the most part are sort of similar to the notes and study guides she provides. However, make sure you really understand the concepts so when there are any tricky questions on the tests you will be able to handle them. (2pts extra for attendance - can only miss up to 2 classes)

She is a fantastic teacher. I've been out of school for about 14 years and just recently returned and it was a lot of work to catch up and get a good understanding of how everything worked again. She's extremely accessible and very willing to help you understand whatever you're struggling with, inside and outside of class. She's the GOAT!

If you have the option to take her class, do it! I hadn't taken any math in over 13 years and if not for her I wouldn't of passed. She's extremely accessible both inside and outside of class and is more than willing to help you with any problems as long as it's a reasonable time. She gives partial credit and it'll save your grade, she's the best!

I took AP Calc in high school and struggled to grasp the information. She goes over lots of examples and explains everything very well. Attend class otherwise, it is very hard to keep up. If you have near-perfect attendance bonus points are added to your final grade. I ended up with around a 96 in this class! I definitely recommend taking her!

Professor Hartmangruber is a fantastic math professor. She is very knowledgeable and gives good explanations. She grades fairly and gives a lot of partial credit, which is particularly important for Calc II. One of the best professors I've had. Just be ready to work, because that's just what you have to do to do well in calculus.

She is good to take if youre fine with fast paced lectures. As long as you do a little bit outside of class you should be fine. The first two exams were average and the last one was hard, but there are so many opportunities to replace grades that you shouldnt worry about passing. She is nice but passive aggressive. The homework load was average.
