Absolutely the best professor ever. The course is challenging, informative, the material is current with the times and the professor goes out of her way to make the course enjoyable. Prof. Emily Quinlin is highly skilled and knowledgeable; firm but fair. Her teaching style should be an example to teachers everywhere.

Prof. Emily Quinlin is amazing; the course is advanced and very fast paced. The workload is intense but the professor is helpful beyond measure and it is impossible to walk away from her class without a clear understanding of the subject matter. Going into this class, I had almost no interest in learning law or even the law of business. Although many of the classes are lecture based and boring, she does effectively teach the material quite well. The tests are pretty easy as you can use your notes, and she even lets you have take home tests sometimes. Pretty easy A if you show up to class.

Professor Quinlan is very passionate about what she is teaching, always available for help and makes an otherwise dry subject come to life with relevant examples and cases. I got an A in the class. I can honestly say i did not learn ONE single thing from this class, but her stories were hilarious. Most of the time, all we did was discuss current events. However, it was a fun and easy class to bump up my GPA. Everything is take-home! Also you NEVER use the book!!! Don't buy it!!!

really easy class. attendance is mandatory. she lectures each class on real life experiences and stuff that's currently popular in the media. she gives real life examples that are very interesting. not much homework but it is online with unlimited attempts. one short essay. three multiple choice, open book, take home tests (including the final).

Her lectures were very interesting and I definitely learnt a lot from them. She is very kind to her students and most of the lectures are stories about the subjects. There are a few tests, but they are all take home. My only issue was that the homework wasn't very related to the lectures and was based solely on the book, so it felt a bit detached.

This professor is really good at what she does, which is teach law. Gives great examples and focuses on "why does this matter to you?" One thing I did not like was that she "teaches down" to the less advanced students at times. I guess that is a community college thing. Outstanding teacher and mentor. I would recommend.

This online was class was way beyond my expectations. Visually pleasant and well organized. Each week structured the same with different assignments for the subject. Warning: She is very slow to grade, but is fair and detailed when you do finally get it back. Very passionate about the subject and it shows. Highly recommend.

I have Prof. Quinlan for 2 classes, BUS223 and BUS13(online). I highly recommend both, particularly BUS223. She is so knowledgable and passionate about the field. This is who you want to learn about business law and employment law. I thought th course would be a little dry, but she made is relevant to our lives. She is not a very difficult grader.

Professor Quinlan was a riot, she is very serious about what she does, and is crazy passionate about the law. She is not the best with communicating with students outside of the classroom, so if you have a question for her ask in person. I highly suggest doing any extra credit opportunities that she offers.

I took BUS13 class online with Prof. Quinlan, yet saw her several times for mandatory & optional extra credit events. The class is spelled out for you. It's not an easy A but, very achievable. Prof. was very quick to respond to emails, not as quick to grade assignments. However most were graded immediately with the online site used.

1st impression: She is super weird and intimidating. Don't let that scare you off! As the semester goes on and you've been to her lectures, you will love her. Inspiring, engaging lectures about topics matter to you. It is the only 2.5hr class that you never want to miss, nor end! No electronics allowed BUT you can't get tired of her lectures!!

She is the best professor I have taken so far. Clear lectures. Very passionate. She always helps students. Home take exams. Only 4 homeworkers based on couple chapters and she gives atleast 2 weeks to do them. Gives tons of extra credit opportunities.

Took her online. Everything was straightforward. Hw was mostly DB and Connect. Midterm and final you get 3 untimed attempts and it takes thr highest score. If you do the work you will get an easy A.

Took this class over the summer. There was a lot of work and she likes things her WAY. Read the directions very thoroughly, because if you do not, then you will miss some instructions. If you do the work and follow instructions it is a pretty straight forward class. She hosted/paid for a dinner for us and a movie, so she could meet us.

GREAT summer class. Be ready to work for 8 weeks. Grading was clear / fair. WARNING Follow instructions in order to get full credit for your work. Excellent summer online class. She assigned a lot of work every week but the class was only for eight weeks so it was not a huge surprise. Quinlan's class was fun at first and then it got boring. She doesn't take attendance, so there is really no need to go to class. The midterm and final take a long time, because it is based off of current articles. Most homework assignments are on Blackboard. You dont really need the book, just the connect code. I took Bus Law with Quinlan over a year ago and I still miss her class. She has a way of teaching that keeps you interested and wanting to know what happens next. Her tests are take-home and she makes them up based on news stories so you learn from the test and the material. Funny as hell and nice. Would take again if I could.

One of the best Business professors hands up. Took her Bus13 about a year ago, now Bus16 with her. Learned so much in her online class. Grade is based off of discussions weekly, midterm 10% and final 10%. Grade is based on 1000 point scale, do the work correct and on time to succeed and don't BS the discussion boards. Easy online class. Can feel like a lot of work, but its not too bad.

I really enjoyed this class. I probably would've enjoyed it more taking it in class instead of online so I could've heard some of her amazing lectures. She is pretty quick with putting grades in and I had no problems keeping up with the homework. The midterm was pretty hard though and I wish we were provided a study guide.

I took her BUS 13 class online and you basically do the homework and pass. Connect homework is super easy and basically tells you the answers, and the discussions posts are super clear. Each week I only put about an hours worth of work into the class. The tests are all on Connect and are super easy. It's impossible to not get an A .

All you have to do is show up, listen to her hilarious relevant anecdotes, and do easy homework to pass. Best professor I've ever had, she clearly got teacher of the year at saddleback and of orange county for a reason. Even having family trouble once she came down to my house to pay a visit cause she's that caring. Id take all my classes w/ her.

Just took her American government class for my first semester and it was really great! She was very supportive during the beginning of COVID-19 extending the due dates making it easy to make sure all my assignments were done during a pandemic. I took PS1 Online. It was extremely easy to fit into my busy schedule. Professor Quinlan would post 2 weeks at a time. It came in handy. All of her assignments are connect. It was very informative. A lot of discussions but nothing too rigorous.

The class is honestly really easy, just read the lectures, take some notes and do all DB on time and you should get an A+. I have a 103.37% in the class right now and there's 1 week left. It is unfortunately I had to take the online class, as the few interactions I had with Professor Quinlan were true pleasures. Even though online, she was available to answer any questions. She appeared to me to be more than fair with current COVID circumstances.

Wonderful professor. This course comes with lots of reading of terms and cases but she includes relevant current materials. The homework is done in Connect but takes only a few minutes to complete. She offers extra credit and gave a generous curve due to circumstances of Covid-19. Do the work and discussion posts and you will get an A.

Professor QUinlan gives real world information to help you in life work business and school and kepps it interesting and real. Easiest class of all time, All you have to do is read the class material and do the homework. Only major tests were midterm and final. She also has weekly discussion boards but they are self explanatory. Idk about her other classes but take her for Bus13 online.

She is so sweet and so caring!! I took it during COVID and she was so caring and understanding! Discussion posts, exams/quizzes, and activities were what it was based on. Put in time and you'll do good! It isn't too difficult she makes it easy

SHE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PROFESSOR AT SADDLEBACK. Idk who these weirdos are talking mess on Professor Quinlan but they are clearly the laziest human beings to walk the Earth because Professor Quinlan is an absolutely brilliant professor whose amazing lectures continuously keep me intrigued and who is always there to help.

Great course and very good professor. Very heavy on discussion posts with an all or nothing grade for each post, 1 post, and 2 replies. Does not accept late work. A couple of writing assignments, multiple-choice midterm and final. Lots of extra credit. SHe really does care about your success. I would recommend you take her.

Loved this class. The online class is super organized and easy to work with. She gives all information that you need to succeed in the class. Highly recommend for any class she teaches.

All of Quinlan's courses are formatted the same. She gives you a lot of work, but it is not difficult. I felt like I learned a lot about the law in this class and started thinking like a lawyer. She cares about your success and what you learn. Lots of work, but I had fun and it was do-able.

Her PS1 course was easy, but it was a good deal more work than I expected. She sets you up to succeed, but you have to put in effort to get there. Tests are somewhat easy because it was basically all open book. If you put in the effort you will get the grade you want. Quinlan is a great prof. please get to know her and join the prelaw pathway.

Professor Quinlan is very caring and respectful of student needs. Her classes are very fair and the tests are not tricky. She does everything possible to help students do well on all tests.

BUS 16 with Professor Quinlan online was the easiest class I have ever taken. There is minimal reading and writing each week with each assignment worth somewhere between 25-75 points. 1000 points overall and she offers about 75 points of extra credit throughout the course.

Do the work. Get an A. Thats it.

Professor Quinlan is one of the best professors!!! She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. She is literally the nicest human on earth and is very caring. Her course consists of weekly discussion posts and a few writing assignments here and there. In all, the work was manageable. Take this professor!!!

Absolutely adore her! She made all aspects of the course extremely clear through the syllabus. May seem like a lot of work but it is interesting to read and watch and the assignments aren't as hard as you may think. She gave us many E.C. opportunities to the point I didn't have to take the final and still ended with an A+. She is lovely!

do not expect an easy time but if you put in the work and follow the class on time you will get an A. alot of deadlines and dates but very doable. she is fair and wants you to succeed highly recommend.

Honestly the most chill teacher. This was my third class with her and probably the easist class ever. If you do thet work you get an A. Sadly this was my last class with herr. Thank you prof quinlan.

I took Professor Quinlan online in the simmer and decided to try in person for fall and I am glad I did. Her online class is great but in person is much better. She is funny and cares about her students alot. She tells a bunch of stories for her lectures. I was dreading taking a law class but so far I love it. 5 out of 5 stars.

I loved this class because of the teacher, Professor Quinlan has a way of making a boring subject interesting and I actually looked forward to the weekly class sessions. Not a difficult A. Highly recommend. Would take again.

take it, you won't regret, she is a such a good teacher, give ever students a free pass, basically if you forgot to do any assignment or having a low grade on this assignment, you can just use this free pass to cover it up. She is very sweet too, love her

AWESOME! Nothing bad ab her at all. My new fav prof at SB. Funny, engaging, fair, entertaining. Makes 3 hrs of lecture feel like a wonderful conversation and storytime. 10/10 take her class. Take her even for an elective! You wont regret! This is not just another I got an A haha or class pet chance post! She has a lot of great connections too!

Professor Quinlan was such a great Professor and a sweet person, it was a pleasure to be in her class. Mostly connect assignments, a midterm and a final make up the class. Just be prepared that she doesn't allow phones in class but she makes it really enjoyable that I didn't really mind it.

Prof. Quinlan is the best. She is kind and caring and will help you anytime. Her online class was easy to follow and I learned a ton about law. Weekly modules are organized and the same format in every class. Pretty easy A. I am taking her in person in fall. I hear she is amazing in class. Highly recommend for PS1 BUS13 online.

I did not finish the class very well but Mrs. Quinlan was the only teacher in my life who called me to see if I was ok.I wish I could have done better but things took a turn and I had to bail on school for now. I respect her so much and would def take her for any class Thank you prof Quinlan, your kindness means the world tome.

Best online experience with a greate professor. Other then the expensive textbook she is the best choice for a law class. I highly recommend for an class and online or in person.

I took online and in-person classes with Professor Quinlan. Both classes are awesome but in-person is just more fun. She is super funny and knows the law inside and out. You will learn something important in every class. She cares about her students experience in the classroom & in irl. I will take another online class with her in fall

Professor Quinlan is amazing I wish I could take all of my classes with her she has helped me discover that I want to go to law school I recommend her for any class she teaches. She is so kind and smart take her wyou will not regret it.

Professor Quinlan's BUS13 class was a great experience. The lectures were engaging, and she made a potentially dry subject matter interesting. I found Unstuck ai a helpful supplementary study tool along with the textbook. Would highly recommend taking her class, whether online or in-person.

Mrs. Quinlan is my favorite teacher at Saddleback. This is my 3rd class with her and I am sad it will be over soon. She is so fun in person class and I have learned so much about legal matters and how it fits in my life. I am thinking about going to law school after I graduate. I highly recommend. (She also serves snacks and is hilarious).

Super chill, easy class. If you show up, you should get full credit. The lectures are interesting and fun and you don't have to do anything. Homework and tests are all online and easy. I would definitely recommend it. The in-person class seems easier than online because there are no discussion boards.

Great professor. Made her lectures fun and engaging. Always had snacks for us at the beginning of class. Class consisted of McGraw Hill assignments, plus few written assignments in class. Tests were online. Would highly recommend taking her in-person.

It is an easy class as long as you attend every class and submit the assignments. The lectures are amazing.

Her class was very organized with clear guidelines and directions for each assignment. There are quite a few discussion boards each week, which could take some time, but overall a pretty manageable online class. She also gives extra credit, which is nice, so def take her class, it is not very hard or time-consuming if you're on top of it.

This is the second time I've taken a course with her. She's a great professor in person, but I'm not a fan of her online teaching style. Expect a ton of homework and plenty of reading. I'd recommend taking her class in person, but if you need an online class, look for another one.

Love this professor. Learned so much about law and also about life. Assignments are weekly and she is a fair grader with lots of ex. cred. Take her for any class you will not regret it.

I found this class to be a lot of work but worth the effort for learning law. Prof Quinlin is a fair grader but does not give much feedback in Canvas. I would recomend for any class if you want good grades.
