Great class, easy A/B if you put in the work. She's one of those teachers that really holds your hand through this class. She teaches the material you're going to see on the test. 1 essay that she grades quite generously. Just make sure you show up to class even though she doesn't always take attendance. The material you see in lecture is the test.

She is absolutely hilaroius! She makes the class fun, offers extra credit and grades generously. Deff take this class with her. :]

She makes the class so interesting and fun, really relates the material to life. She gives you a study guide of whats on the test (though sometimes her test ques. are worded weird). Lectures are all online! One big paper that she grades somewhat on a curve. Whether or not you like psych TAKE HER CLASS!

Emma Breeden is really awesome, funny, smart, interesting, and easy on the eyes! She keeps you entertained and most important interested in the subject. She is very knowledgeable in her field and has experience which counts! The thing I loved best is that she allows her students to be active participants in a fun way. Great professor!

she is hot teacher. she is clear and willing to help you. do the journals (1 per chapter) and sometimes you can do two per chapter(extra credit) there are 4 tests very straight forward and the class before the test she would do a revie streight from test so you know what to study. take her! great teacher

By far one of the funniest teachers I have ever had. I had her for a once-a-week 3 hour class, but I honestly never felt like I was there that long. She is entertaining and makes the time go by fast. We got a 3x5 card for each test, which is enough to get you a good grade. No homework assignments, 1 term paper.

Took, Ms. Breeden's online summer coure, was very fast paced, and definitly a lot of work. However learned alot and got some units done. She is very fair and very clear in what she wants, also provides many notes, ppoints, and other things that help prepare you for exams!

Overall her lectures are easy to follow and she explains concepts well. Though she has a good sense of humor sometimes it went a little too far haha.

Professor Breeden is a great teacher! She used powerpoints during her lectures and explained them very well. Everything was easily accessible on Blackboard and she constantly kept the class updated. Her journals and tests were straight forward and directly from the notes she provided. She made learning fun! Definitely recommend her class! :)

Professor Breeden has a very big personality, and she has a lot of fun teaching psychology. It's very easy to learn from her because the way she teaches and tests is very low stress.

Professor Breeden has a upbeat and humorous way of teaching. Very clear and uses great examples to really get the concepts to stick. Take her. An A is very possible to attain, if you do the minimum you can still manage to get a B in the class. Highly recommended to take Abnormal Pscyh w/ her! Oh, and did I mention she's attractive haha.

Professor Breeden is a phenomenal teacher. She has a lot of psych experience that she brings to the class. The class is challenging, but the way she relates to the students and breaks down the material makes it doable. I would recommend taking her for any psych course.

Mrs. B has got to be one of the best (and hottest) profs on campus (SCC), in my opinion. Had her for intro and abnormal psych. Tests are easy to comprehend. Lectures are broken down into manageable power point presentations that are both fun and comprehensive. She has an awesome personality and a sense of humor as well! Highly recommended!!

Took her for Human Sexuality and she's very entertaining! She keeps the class interested with plenty of examples and her power points have all the information you need for exams. She even brought in a toy lady to help with examples! It's a great class and very informative! Plus she's really not bad to look at!

Professor Breeden is a great professor. She is a really down to earth person and speaks the truth. Her favorite lectures are: Drugs and Sex. Homework is easy (10 one page papers), 4 exams that consist of 60 questions and gives a few extra credit questions on the exams. I would take her class again.

Pretty easy class. Really boring and routine, though. Not the prof's fault. Lots of reading and discussion boards. Prof. Breeden was very clear in her expectations and was quick to answer questions if we had any. Didn't really get to see her enthusiasm for the subject shine through too much, but I blame that on the course being online.

Mrs. Breeden is one of the best professors, here at Santiago Canyon College. If you're looking for a teacher that interacts with her students, and is always willing there to help you. Than she is the professor for you, for psychology and other subjects.

I've taken 3 out of 4 of her offered classes and plan on taking the 4th this Spring. She's absolutely knowledgeable in the Psychology subjects. Her teachings convinced me to switch my major! Not to mention, she's caliente!

Awesome Teacher! If you're just getting into psych, definitely take her class! She is super funny and the class is always interesting. I'm currently in her lecture hall and I think it's awesome how she can make 140 students laugh at once!

She is a great professor! If you genuinely are interested in Psychology then you'll really enjoy this class. I took her late night class which was cool because I am such a night owl and her stories while lecturing are so entertaining! If you can do a little work and actually pay attention then you'll do just fine in her psych class.

Breeden was the best professor I've taken so far! She makes everything clear, and you can tell she knows exactly what she's doing. Her tests are simple, just study of course! Her lectures were the best, she'd always make it interesting. I'd take her class again in a heartbeat.

This professor is amazing, although the material is difficult she makes every effort to help you understand it. As long as you send her an email about being absent or late she usually is very understanding. Professor Breeden's lectures are very energetic and very close to her exams. Best Psych professor by far! She is so funny and her lectures are really interesting. Her reviews are EXACTLY LIKE THE EXAM. So make sure to write the questions and answers when doing the review in class and you will get an A! I'm a psych major and and looking forward to taking her for abnormal psych next semester! AHHH SHE WAS THE BEST! I took her over the fall of 2015 and she was amazing! She actually diagnoses patients so she really knows what she's talking about. Her teaching methods are just so good!! I swear, she made me fall back in love with psychology. Honestly, she's probably the best psychology professor that I have EVER had. Definitely recommend.

Very kind professor. I only met her once to get my grade sheet filled out. This was the first online class I did not drop. She made it really easy to reach by email, and replies quickly. She offers extra credit. If you take this online, then make sure the computer you take the exam on has a good connection. Only 2 attempts @ exam. Last score used.

Professor Breeden is a fantastic professor! If you ever have the chance to take her class, jump on it! Her class made Monday my favorite day! Her lectures are so interesting and it is very easy to get an A in her class, just read the book and study the notes and you'll do great. Also, listen to the review sessions! Breeden was a great professor, but not as easy as the reviews here say. She knows her stuff and it passionate about the subject matter, but she expects a lot from her students. The tests are hard and the assignments require a lot of writing but are fun and useful. She truely cares about the students and make the class fun. Minimal extra credit.

Breeden is a nice teacher and very active in class. She lectures based off PowerPoint. She goes over a lot of material so pay attention. There is a term paper given half way through the semester, it is easy if you put the effort into it. Look over the study guide a few times before the test and you should do fine. Good luck!

Professor Breeden is so amazing! she's hilarious and gives a lot of scenarios from her past working as a psychologist that really helped me personally remember certain things. STUDY STUDY STUDY! and make sure to do all the application journals, very easy and will really help your grade.

Don't be intimidated by the term paper; it is straight forward and suprisingly not as stressful as it may seem. Make sure you study for every exam and you should do great!

I really liked Breeden. She is hilarious, and she makes her lectures interesting. I learned a lot because I was so engaged in her lectures. She gives intensive study guides, and there are no surprises on her tests. She takes the time to get to know her students and make them feel welcome.

This is probably one of the best professor's I've had. I also took her for child psych and I loved the class. There is a big paper due in abnormal psych at the end of the semester but I enjoyed writing it so it didn't feel that bad. The only bad thing is that your grade is based off of the exams and the paper because theres no other assignments.

Abnormal psych seems much more intimidating than it actually is, so please don't be afraid to take this course! This class was simple, with weekly discussion boards and 4 tests. The discussion boards are not gradely harshly, however she will go into detail to point out what you may need help on before the test. Could really tell she cares!

Professor Breeden is one of the best professors that I've had in my college career. While she makes you work for your grade, she is very encouraging and provides fascinating insight into her field. I am seriously considering becoming a psychology major after my time in this class and I attribute a lot of that to her fantastic teaching skills!

You need the book! She gives you an Exam study guide, USE IT. She's straight forward. Gives amazing feedback with discussions! do the work and make sure you have your notes ready for the exam! Do the dicussions! It will make a difference in your grade!!

Really interesting class and she's really funny. She sometimes takes her jokes a little bit too far though and they can get a little inappropriate. But overall she's cool, I wouldn't mind taking her again.

I took her class during Spring of 2018. She helped me realize my potential in psychology, and inspired me to change my major and shift my career focus. Without a doubt, she is the best psychology professor (and maybe the best OVERALL professor) at Santiago Canyon College. Review your notes, show effort in her class, and you will succeed.

This professor is hilarious! She is super fun, despite me having this professor for the 10:15 am class I was wide awake during her lectures because she was so funny. There are about 10 application journals that you must do through out the semester in order to pass. And just a tip almost all of her online test questions are on quizlet. Thankmelater

Amazing class highly would recommend a total of 6 Discussion boards. For the DB you need the TEXTBOOK and READ! 4 Exam 60 questions each. 2 extra credit assignment 5 points each similar to DB. What I enjoy about the class was how she provides a link going over the power-points. Make sure to do the study guide if you want a HIGH grade on the exam.

Don't walk in late / try not to miss class. Read the text and use exam study guides from day 1 to answer all the questions. Quizzes are easy and recycled on the exams. Do the work and get your best grade. Emma is awesome ! Don't miss taking one of her classes.

Grades based off of 12 DB (6 pts each) (2 are extra credit - 5 pts each) and 4 exams (60 pts each). She grades DB's the day after it's due, very quick! Clear feedback, tells you what you missed and what she's looking for. Also, use textbook for DB's. Overall, I learned a lot about abnormal psych!

She keeps things interesting. Do the application journals, they're the only homework assignment. If you read the book and pay attention during class you don't need to study for the tests. She does 4 tests, no midterm or final. Minimal extra credit. She does thorough reviews based off the actual test questions. Highly recommend.

This is my favorite professor at SCC. She's so clear and helpful, not to mention hilarious! Her exams are online and are so easy. I still learned so much though, she is such a good professor. She is understanding, funny, kind, and such a good teacher in general. I'm taking another class of hers because she taught me so much. Take her if you can!

Very comedic, fun, jim carrey-esque teacher, you can tell she did theatre lol. I learned a lot about myself as well. I suggest every first semester 1rst year student should take this class cuz the chap. on memory will teach you how to study. if youve always had trouble with grades, take this class!! youll learn a lot, just put in the effort!

Don't miss Emma's fun lectures, take one of her classes. She has a lot of insight as a person who has worked in the field as a social worker. There is never a dull moment in her classes.

She is a great teacher and I really enjoyed her class. I am enrolling in her abnormal psych class this next semester. She gives informative lectures. Pay attention, participate and you will get a good grade. She does give you the opportunity to use an index card with all of your notes written on it for the test.

She is an amazing teacher. I took her psyc of human sexuality class. Her class was online due to Covid-19. All you needed to do was participate in the discussion boards every week and listen to her lectures that she posted on canvas. study guides really help on her tests! Take notes and do the study guides and you'll pass.

I am a freshman in high school and took Professor Breedens 4 week summer class to challenge myself. She was amazing! Her lectures are very entertaining which made it easy to memorize the course material. She is very gifted and clearly loves what she does. Watch the lectures and read the textbook. She is very straightforward and kind.

I don't think many people realize that we're in college and these classes will get difficult. That being said when taking a psychology course theres going to be work. Professor Breeden is inspirational, she makes the topics enjoyable and easy to follow. Just do your work and ask questions and you'll pass!

This is my third time taking Breedens class and I can honestly say she is one of the best professors at SCC. She is passionate about psychology & reflects that in her lectures. Breeden is a very unique professor. Shes kind and funny and throws in some college level jokes and her class is mostly easy. However, she has a term paper for the semester. It is incredibly stressful and I followed the paper bullet-point by bullet-point and still got a bad grade on it. Shes a tough grader, but a good professor.

Shes honestly such an amazing professor. She snapped me out of my high school mentality of procrastinating QUICK. Her lectures are great, she explains everything so well and answers almost any question you ask her. I learned so much in this class and it was when Covid got bad and we had to be online, she made it great! You wont regret picking her

I took her intersession class so it was a lot more challenging. Her voice in the prerecorded lectures sounds really professional which can make it boring (but its not too bad). If you meet with her through zoom you'll see what a great person she is! A lot of questions from the test comes from the textbook so be sure to look at that too.

Lectures are long but break them down and pause for 30-minute mark, discussions are well understood but be detailed and specific use examples from the book, attendance do homework on time and discussions, though she was concerned about my grade- email her for assistance. Took this class for like 1 or 2 months, study guides are provided for exams

Prof. Breeden is amazing, patient, and helpful. I took her Abnormal course online, but I wish I took her in-person b/c she's so nice! The course was video lectures, weekly discussions (LOTS of fun; gives you real examples of what you learned), and four 60-question MCQ tests. Read the book. Ask questions on the Q&A form. Visit her office hours.

I took the online 8 weeks course Psychology 101, don't waste your time memorizing the 100 definitions words that she recommends because they are not in the exam; read the chapters, and that's all that is in the examgrade fast which is good. She does little teaching the test worth most of your grade. I recommend this teacher.

Professor Breeden was always very helpful and gave good feedback. Psych. was not a favorite subject of mine, but I managed to get a B with the assigned coursework and lectures. Thanks, Professor Breeden.

I have taken Prof Breeden for a total of 3 classes now. If you do the study guides, listen to lectures, and read you will get As on the exam.

Prof. Breeden would be a tough grader on some things but that was also my fault as I would not really follow the rubric and not give my full effort throughout the semester. Overall, she's a really good professor and I highly recommend

Funny, knowledgeable, unique. Has personal narratives that relate to the class material, so you will never be bored in her class. Take her in person vs online b/c these traits are best expressed in class.The term paper around the end of the semester requires a lot of effort but she is willing to help. Graded on participation, term paper, and tests.

I took her 4-week summer online course. 10 discussion boards, 4 multiple choice tests (60q 60m). My only problem was that in the beginning of the course she said we could use notes and textbook for test and then halfway through she decided that if you exit the tab to view your notes or textbook it's considered cheating. Other than that she was good

Professor Breeden is Great at what she does, her class was tough, but I learned a lot from it. There were weekly quizzes, and the discussions involved a lot of detail, and her lectures were fun and interesting.
