He's one of the worst teacher I ever had in NEIU. His exams are way too hard for everyone and he was rude to me.
Teribble teacher. He makes you feel like a moron. When he teaches, the material seems a lot harder than it really is. I wouldn't recommend him, he's going to make you hate accounting.
Loves the subject. Teaches with great passion. Expects students to do the work, will not offer shortcuts or buy into typical student ploys ("Will this be on the test?"). Very nice person though. Recognizes if you are trying.
He is the worst teacher I ever had. Being an A student, I barely got C in his class. Avoid him if you can. Hard exams, makes the class miserable.
Those who rate this guy with a 5 either were NOT ATTENDING class or just sucked up. He is the WORST teacher. I don't know WHY he is still teaching. I am an A student and I was lucky to get out of his class with a C. I DID NOT LEARN ANYTHING!
Grades very hard in what I think is an attempt to weed out people in the business dept. Does give extra points here and there but with the hard tests it doesn't seem to matter too much. Can be enjoyable at times, but I wouldn't take him again.
HE is the only reason why I HATE accounting.
I think he's a nice guy and usually means well. But he is hard. I suggest you avoid him if all possibly. And if you do take him take him in the summer he seems to be alittle easier then.
With this guys fault, I ended it up taking ACTG 202 twice. He's rude and terrible professor that everybody should stay away from him. He disrespected me when I answer the questions incorrectly. Overall, DON'T TAKE HIM.
I made the biggest blunder in my life by taking his class.

This professor is a horrible which I will give examples why. First he assigns problems to do and never goes over the correct way to do them. His tests are totally different from what he teaches in class. He does not cover sections of material and still puts them on the exam. Please avoid this instructor at all costs.
It is a hard subject as it is and he didnt make it easier. his lectures are easy to understand adn the book is not hard but put them all together and you get an exam that is impossible to figure out. I got an A in all of the exams ecxept the midterm 2 in which I got a D. he gave me a B in the class but I do not think I learned from that class
If you are looking to pass the class just cuz its a prerequisitie for ur major DO NOT take this class. I barely passed with a C in his class. He doesnt lecture he gves "speeches". he was late 15 min, every day, and expects u to stay and wait for him. hes very disorganized, RUDE to the maximum, obnoxious and his famous line was "DID YOU GET IT?"

Man the class did not expect him to teach that sec. It was a last min. change. He explains good but he is rude and late all the time. The reaon I dont drop it is because I need this class this semester. Y does the dept. still has him after reading all this comments. We go to school to learn not to hate school because instructors like him.

One of the worst. I dont know why, NEIU keeps this kind of prof. in the coll. The mos useless person. Very unhelpful. First day of class, tells us "No tutor, so come to me", but when we knock his door for any help, he is like " read, read. try to do it urself.. dont come to me." Smiles to only couple of the girls in the class and treats others bad
his class was very challenging, but now I appreciate as I look back it was worth it. If your are into accounting, I would strongly recommend his class, but if your are just looking for a professor to pass cost accounting with easy B or C, don't even bother.

Honestly, the ABSOLUTE WORST teacher I've ever had! 1) He does not teach.. period. 2) He hands you a packet/problem and expects you to know how to do it.. without teaching or showing you how. 3) His tests are NOT anything you learn in class. 4) You won't know any grades or how you are doing until your final grade is posted. AVOID HIM AT ALL COSTS!
Very condescending. He is always talking down to people. Makes very simple arithmetic calculations seem very complex. Very disorganized. Complete lack of focus. Goes off on tangents that have no relation to the material. He has no problem wasting student's time. Overall, just a very poor teacher.
Great teacher but his tests are very long. You have to study very hard for each test. I will take him again. He explains very well the material and he is funny too.
Bad teacher & classes are SOOO boring. It was impossible for me to sit through an entire class. Exams take 2-3+ hours to complete. On the good side you can use unlimited notes on the exams (we all made photo copies of the book and used that as our "notes") & there are plenty of ways to earn points aside from his three exams. Avoid if possible!!!
I don't know how much of it is him and how much is the material. I actually liked this guy...but his tests were ridiculous. I would highly recommend avoiding any accounting during the summer -- too much info in a small amount of time. You must attend class and keep up with the independent work to pass this course.
PROFESSOR NYADROH IS NOT BAD AT ALL AND IF YOU PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS YOU WILL DO WELL ON THE PROBLEM SOLVING PART OF HIS EXAMS...ITS THE CONCEPTUAL QUESTIONS THAT YOU HAVE TO LEARN BY READING THE BOOK...THATS THE HARD PART OF HIS EXAMS THE THEORY QUESTIONS...BUT HE IS EASY TO UNDERSTAND AND VERY PASSIONATE

This guy is terrible. He makes everything seem so much more difficult than it is. I love accounting but this guy makes it a horror movie. He makes others look stupid for asking questions and gives tests that are 2 to 3 hours long. The tests arent too difficult, but when youre doing problem for 2 to 3 hours you begin to lose concentration.
This professor is a nice person BUT is very unorganized.He can be talking about one thing and jump to something else.He doesn't give enough exams/quizzes.He doesn't care if you pass.He will also give test questions that he said he wouldn't.Things that he hasn't went over in class. He barely uses the text book. He doesn't even respond to emails.
Avoid him if you can!!! You think you understand everything in class but wait until the exams, they will take you hours to finish
This professor was ridiculus... He came to every class at least 10 to 15 minutes late. I wish I could say that i am over exagerating, but aside from maybe 3 or 4 classes, he was late every sinlge time. His exams take at least two days to finish. He speaks down to his students and there really is no point in asking him questions. Avoid if possible.
He is difficult and his exams are lengthy. If you want a easy pass and you are don't like Actg like most people, avoid him. If you are a Actg major and want to learn the material yourself. Take him.
He was constantly late to class. One time he was a half hour late, but got mad at those of us who left, assuming he wasn't coming. His tests do not represent either the material covered in the book or in class. He grades on a curve, which is his one saving grace. Avoid like the plague.
Great guy and great since of humor, but deff not a great teacher. He abbreviates all the terms as if we're professional accountants already, pulls formulas out of nowhere and starts going, whenever you ask a question he doesn't answer but turns to classmates and asks them if they get it instead. Never posts the grades on time, and tests are hard
This guy shouldnt be a teacher. He makes students feel dumb for asking questions. He laughs at things that arn't funny, like our class avg test score 39%.He's late, doesn't email back, doesn't help during office hours, and his tests are near impossible.He will not tell you what's on the exams, or even guide you in the right direction.awful teaching
The instructor is a nice person but BEWARE of his class. Really chalennging course. You will not know what will be on the exams Problems are difficult to do. The exams are divided in to two days! Even two days are not enough. The plus is that there are take home quizes, and that 60% is a C. You will study and still you will have a D or C.

Very difficult professor. Accounting is my major and I studied like crazy to get a B. Would not recommend. He is a nice and funny person but I do not agree that he will teach you.

Don't take his class he reads out of the book and does not even write anything things down. His tests are hard and will not give you a study aid to help with studying. I'd stay away form taking a class with this teacher.

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR. If you enjoy leaving class at the scheduled time I recommend another class. He is rude, sarcastic, and actually seems irritated when students ask questions. Wow, avoid at all costs. He lectured the material in a way that made really simple concepts into rocket science and used vocabulary that differed from the textbook. Condescending and would keep the class long after the class has ended. Generally unpleasant experience. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Very difficult class. Final is over all chapters , no study guide , exams are very hard . He explained the material on his own level and not the student level . Used all vocab from book when lecturing , did not relate to life examples , everything wAs from the book!!!! avoid !!!
He is a good professor. Many say his class is hard but I beg to differ. Yes you have to study a lot, but if you do the quizzes and read the book you'll do just fine. He is funny and willing to answer questions students have. He knows his stuff,But students need to put in effort!!

He is literally the worst professor I have ever had. I never wrote on this website and never thought I'd have to rate my professor. His class is super boring and he lacks time management. Always comes to class 5-10 minutes late and takes the entire class time doing only one problem.
He is now expecting us to take the final exam with the chapters he did not even teach. If you want to pay to read the book, take his class. You will not learn anything. All of his so called take home quizzes are straight from online websites. Please avoid@!! I dont know why the university keeps him.
My advise: read the book and try to do the problems from the internet. There will be no help, no explanation nothing! If you ask a question he will say read the book. It is even worse than take online class. It is like you are taking a class but there is no teacher.
Worse professor I have had thus far. Very unorganized. Lacks structure. He takes 45 minutes going over 1 problem that is in no way similar to any exams he gives. His teaching methods are all over the place. You are not going to learn anything from him. Everything you learn is from the textbook and going over the problems in the textbook on your own
This professor is the worst professor I have ever had throughout my years at NEIU. He is very unclear and hard to understand. Even though the class told him that we have questions and do not understand he still goes onto the next chapter. I recommend that you take someone other than this professor if you really care to learn and pass the class.
AVOID! This professor seems irritated when people ask questions and will not let students finish asking questions before interrupting! I get A's and B's in all my classes but I'm hoping to get a C in this class.. if you want to learn something take a different profeessor.
NEIU disappoints all students. This professor should retire he is hated by all students. He is horrible at teaching and exams are extremely hard because are nothing like what he taught. I hope he makes the best decision and retire. NEIU students will be thankful for that
I am so glad I have prior knowledge in accounting and feel bad for anyone who takes this intro class who doesn't. Easily distracted, he can spend an entire class on a meaningless problem, falls behind, and you'll have to learn at least one of the chapters on your own. If you need this class and have no accounting background, avoid taking him.
I never leave rating for any teacher, but I have to leave a warning for future students. He is the worst teacher I ever had. You might as well take an online class and teach yourself because he does not help you at all. He gets angry if you ask questions. He failed half the class. The test are difficutl and the quiezzes also.

This professor is not too difficult if you actually sit down and understand the material. He may make the math look too difficult but it helps later to know how to apply the numbers in varoius situations. Overall a great professor sometimes with a peculiar sense of humor.
3 test 10 quizes he was absent for a week crammed 5 new chapters into last 3 days(50min classes) which were on the final no extra credit hes easily distracted spent 1 class covering 1 quiz and lecturing us that we should know the material (only covered 1 problem of 20) took so much notes and none of it helped, hes usually late youll need the book
He knows the material and explains it well. He can go through it a bit fast. He talks loud but he cares about teaching. This class is tough and if you put effort into it you will pass. His grading scale if off by a bit so a 75 is still a B. Do all take home quizes (easy100%) and get decent grades on tests(around60) and you pass this class easily.
Tests are from the publisher, and they are extremely hard. He does not explain anything, and expects you to know it all by just reading the book. His grading scale is the only thing that saved a bunch of people. 60- 74 C, 75-87 B 88+ A. Avoid him if you can, and to others good luck.
Avoid!!! AVOID!!! AVOID!!!!!!!! Worst Professor.. Only explains the material partially, does not go over slides from the chapters. Very unorganized and was not even able to completely finish teaching the class several chapters near the end. Find someone else, this is not the best decision for you! You are smarter than this.. If you want to take a class just to pass, this is not for you. I have read all the comments in here and at first i agreed. First test that was given was horrible (too hard). professor noticed that his students did not do good so he changed the 2nd exam and final. He explains everything and answers any questions you may have. He is caring and funny.
Cost accounting is the most challenging course I took thus far so, taking it in the summer was even harder!! Last exam consisted of 6 chapters!! His rating isn't so great b/c the subject is hard but I thought he was more than fair with his grading scale for a pass. Take home quizzes are given weekly. He is a great teacher and I enjoyed his class.

Don't take this guy, he does not know how to teach. Honestly it's better skipping this guys overly long and pointless class that he's always late to and teaching yourself the material.

Prior to taking this class I was skeptical and somewhat afraid due to the bad ratings. Thank goodness I didnt base my decision off Rate my professor. This man is very knowledgeable and not to mention, kind and funny. He encourages us to ask questions and will not move on until you feel comfortable with the material. Im glad I took his class!
He knows his material but don't know how to pass to students , he has time management issues. He never comes to class on time and have you liable for it ( He passes sometime 30 minutes of regular time) . Honestly the worst. If you want to take a chance & wonder the whole semester if you will pass or not, then take him. No extra credit, no curve, no proper lecture or structure. Zero time mngmt. ALWAYS late and keeps us 30+ minutes then will get mad if you try to leave (seriously wth?!) Final was based on 6 chs. and only went over 4 chapters. AVOID.
Probably my least favorite accounting professor so far. This man was late to every class (usually by 5-10 mins, but one time was late by 30 minutes). He spends so much class time on a single problem, so you have to spend a lot of time learning on your own. Class was poorly structured. He's a nice man, but not the best at teaching and organization.
DO NOT TAKE!!! Your grade is only based on quizzes and tests. The final itself is worth 400 points and is 40% of your grade. His lectures don't match up with the quizzes or tests, basically have to learn everything on your own through the book.
