The best professor I ever had.

He is seriously the greatest ACCTing teacher EVER! he's really nice& willing to explain things a million times so long as the majority of the class is lost.Tests are not difficult&he offers Ex.Credit.Really approachable.Come to class & do the end of class quizzes (really simple), take his advice on what to study &you'll for sure get at a least B!

Very good teacher & tries 2 make things as simple as possible, yet makes sure you learn acct. b4 taking his class I dropped acct102 4 TIMES cuz I wouldnt understand it!! Professor Pascual is very knowledgeable in the material. The class itself is difficult, but he has a 3 part process which I believe works well. He first goes over a powerpoint, then the book, and finally the exercise problems. The group project is very challenging but doable. Read the textbook,do the HW, and Practice problems and you should be fine

You should take Pascual. Accounting 102 is right after 101, so it should be no surprise that details are in the forms, and math is important. Beside that, one must read, and do a lot of HW to practice. Hearing about USC stories could be fun way to make a boring subject more perky and lively. We can always come up with USC jokes if we are bored.

Managerial accounting is going to be related to cost accounting. You need to participate and study in order to get a good grade. Try to do the homework earlier, and then review things you need to memorize earlier. A fun lecturer, and a good instructor who is knowledgeable about accounting, tax, and things related to business. Exams are exams!

I took this class for summer first 5 weeks & after reading the rating I was really skeptical whether I should drop it or not but I was lucky I didn't. I found the lectures very helpful & interesting. What you need to do is to concentrate on the topics he discuss in the class and practice. It will be easy to pass or even to get an A.

Took this class during winter and if you are going to take it in a short period of time, READ. The professor will teach you everything that will be in the quiz and tests, its up to you to go home and study further. Overall highly recommended to others.

Professor Pascual is solid in that he presents the material in multiple ways. Whatever way you learn best, he probably has it covered. He has a sense of humor which helps for a topic like accounting. I braved to take ACCTG 102 with Professor Pascual, despite the reviews. Connect is mandatory. Scary at 1st, BUT do the homework, ask questions. Listen very carefully to his side comments. Take notes! Great Professor. You will use the textbook regularly in class. The class is a bit tough but he is a great professor and explains things well. Since the beginning Professor Pascual was so great to work with. I like how every time we have a concern or something is not clear he takes the time to explain thoroughly. This is a fast paced class but he makes it easy to understand you just need to be attentive and take notes. Wish I would have taken his class for Acct 101.

I took Professor Pascual's summer course, so it was only a short five weeks. I really liked his style of teaching. He made sure that we had been over the material multiple times to help us learn it better. A big part of your grade is heavily on the tests, but if you attend class and do the practice and homework they aren't hard.

Great professor! So much material to learn in 5 weeks but Prof. Pascual made it possible and easy to understand. Do your reading, attend class, do all assignments and study for exams and you shouldn't have a problem. Your grade will reflect just how much work you actually put into the class.

Took Acct 102 in Fall 2020. Professor Pascual clearly explains what his expectations are from you in order to pass. He is accessible to his students outside of class via email. His grading is straight forward. You will have online quizzes to take and participation is graded through discussion posts. Also provides extra credit opportunities.

I am taking this class online, during winter short semester. For me accounting is very hard, but he is a good teacher. If you do your homework and quizzes on time you will pass the class. As long as you study you will be good.

Really solid choice. Tests mainly determine your grade with the midterm being 400 points and the final 420. Gives 50 point Extra Credit if you complete them so it is very easy to get a B or a low A. Really kind as he responds to email in a reasonable time and is caring for students. Really solid imo.

The class criteria is simple and straightforward. Every week's agenda is the same so you fall into a routine which is nice. While the class is test/quiz heavy with the final being 420 points, he offers extra credit points. He sends weekly emails on the class average of that weeks assignments and is open with communication. Would recommend.

Best decision was to take this class during Winter session. Assignments are easy and can be found online. Students are not only required to do class work but you will have to participate in class discussions which are easy topics. The Professor sends out weekly reminders on which assignments are due in the coming days. Overall easy class!

Hi everyone. If you dont have great skills from accounting and arescared dont hesitate take Professor Pascual. I really like his non mandatory classes because I get to hear his explanation of each chapter and the work problems. The homework is not too much as long as you dont stay behind and do every chapter on time you will be completely fine.

Such a good professor who cares about his students. Accounting 101 was made easy, so I have enrolled in his Accounting 102 class as well. Extra credit is offered to bring up a big portion of your grade and the homework and quiz for each chapter every week was straightforward. I couldn't't imagine taking another professor for this class.

I'm usually not good at accounting, but Professor Pascual made the lectures and assignments very understandable. As long as you keep up with all the work, you're pretty much guaranteed to pass the class. I learned a lot and I hope I'm able to take more of his classes.

The pace is good. I strongly suggest completing the assignments on time as late assignments are not accepted. Mid-term and Final are a major part of the final grade. I took this class online and all assignments were on McGraw Hill Connect.

I recommend this professor because the instructions were clear and doable! Theres discussions, homework and quizzes due every weekend. And one midterm and a final. Also extra credit. So if you plan ahead of time and do everything that youve been asked to do you will get an A! Good Luck!

Considering this was an online class and only one month long, it was very good. There were no crammed assignments and only a few a day due every Saturday. There is a quiz for every chapter but the homework you do before helps a lot.

I took this class in a summer session & considering that it's a 5 unit class, he manages it very well for the 5 weeks. It was an online class and his powerpoints were very informal & helpful. Homework and Quizzes for each chapter makes it easy to not forget the material. Bonus points for not making us do a virtual group project

For a 5 week Summer Course, Professor Pascual has his course very well designed and organized. He is quick to respond back via email and cares for his students. The course is challenging but definitely designed for you to pass with a good grade if you follow his instructions. 2 quizzes, discussions & HW per week. Extra Credit opportunity as well.

Accounting in general is a subject that requires in-depth understanding and he does a great job at guiding you there. Professor Pascual is great and seems to care about your grade. Anytime you email him with a question or concern, he responds back quickly with lots of help. Accounting is a pretty tough course, but if you put in the work with this professor, there's no doubt that you will get a good grade. Be prepared to learn lots of material but succeed.

I took this class during summer 102. There is weekly quizzes and homework as well as a group project due at the end of the quarter. There is two exams as well and the content is fast paced, if you keep up with the work then you should be fine.

I took Accounting 101 online for the 2022 fall semester (8 week). You simply read the textbook, and then complete your assignments. Be sure to read the text and to review the powerpoints provided. Mid term and final together make up about 80% of your grade. Even though there is a quite a bit of homework assignments and quiz for each chapter.

I have nothing bad to say about Professor Pascual. He has been very clear from the beginning what he expects from his students and let me tell you it's not tough to accomplish it. He gives up to 50 points of extra credit if you utilize it and everything is pretty self explanatory and clear from the get go. I've enjoyed taking this class very much.

Professor Pascual's accounting 180 class was remote. I had another accounting class with him, which was hybrid, that I found more interesting. Two tests account for the majority of the final grade, but Professor Pascual also introduces extra credit opportunities that will help with the final grading.

If you did good in ACCTG 101 expect to succeed in this class. Relatively easy course and he is easy to reach if you have any struggles. BE AWARE, both the exams are 40% of your grade each (80% total) so if you struggle with accounting find a professor who doesn't grade tests this heavily. Tests were 25 MCQ and 5 SAQ.
