Great teacher. I took him for the lecture as well as the lab, and I'm glad I did. Tries to help the class as much as he can, but there is A LOT to study. And you HAVE to study or you'll fail. Not too bad on the eyes either.

Taking him lab/lecture...he knows his stuff, but his tests are hard, no diagrams, no study guide/review. 1 test usually covers about 3 sections/210 power point slides, that although they are nice, they are a lot of info, & you have no clue what to concentrate on. If you retain A LOT of info easily, then you will like him. He's new to teaching...

I took him for lecture and lab for anatomy and physiology II (1086). It is a challenging course (what do you expect, its anatomy & physiology) but he does an excellent job of explaining the material. I also have him for lab and he is very helpful, explains exactly what you need to do. Overall a very good teacher that I would highly recommend.

I took Professor Vrotsos for BSC1010. He is very knowledgable of the subject and gives lots of interesting examples during his lectures. His tests are challenging, but he does provide study guides and if you study you will do fine. He is very helpful and understanding. He is also quite funny. Take him and you won't be disappointed.

Amazing teacher! His powerpoint presentations are crystal clear and he makes them himself. He teaches the material very well and knows biology. I will truly miss his class. As long as you study the powerpoints you will get an A in the class; the book helps reinforce his material. Recommend him to all - hopefully he will teach BSC1011 soon!

Dr. V is an excellent teacher. He is very helpful and enthusiastic about the subject. His tests are challenging so you have to study and attend the lectures. His powerpoints are helpful too. In lab he does give quizzes weekly, but lets you know what to expect. I'd highly recommend him.

He was a very good teacher, worth the trip to central he made bio so easy I missed good amount of the classes and still ended up with a B (only because i didnt study for the last test :/) His teaching methods are excellent and very easy to follow. Worth the drive, Worth getting up early for! want a good grade? take him!!!

Great class

Extremely hard class but very interesting. Keep up with the reading material and study exactly what he tells you to and you will do fine. Me and my boyfriend took the class and lab together and loved it. Expect to work very hard for a good grade. Dr.V is helpful and can be very funny. I would recommend him only if you're willing to put in the work.

I was not looking forward to taking a summer class and had an awful experience with my 1086 Lab teacher, but Dr. V is a great teacher. He is young and relates ideas to his students in up to date way. Easy quizes online, and the tests are pretty straight forward. Pay attention in the lectures and you should do fine.

Dr. V is extremely helpful and calm. He gives a quiz each class but if you read the material and take some time to study them you should pass them with no problem. He also gives 3 points for each class you attend although class is mandatory. I defenitely recommend him.

Awesome professors. Tests were just like the study guides and very easy. He's very nice and answers questions. He's a smart guy with a lot of cool information/fun facts. I got an A with minimal effort. I wish he was teaching BSC1011 too.

I took him for lab. He was okay but didn't prepare us for the practicals as well as other professors did (ex. reviews). Lab reports are basically completion. Weekly quizzes are very hard, you have to study a lot. Also there weren't too many opportunities for EC like in other classes. I ended up with a B.

Smart but knows it. Thinly veiled condescension observable. Quizzes are directly from reading. Not a total jerk about attendance. Not great prep for lab practical. Do well on quizzes so you don't have to do well on practical. Pay attention to fetal pig and histology slides.

Took him for lab. Dr. V is the man! Probably the coolest biology professor on campus. Had a blast in the lab. Gonna have to study for the weekly quiz but i learned so much from him. Even helped with any questions i had about my biology lecture class work. Really smart. loves to help anyone who wants to learn. Really down to earth. Take him!

He is a really cool guy. He helped all students and he loves what he does. Study for the quizzes and do your labs and you will get an A!

He is very helpful and laid back, but putting the personality aside, this class is soooooo easy. Yes, you have to study because heloooo this is a science major class. 4 exams, final is somewhat cummulative, 4 quizzes and that is ALL! No midterm and no need to buy the book. Mr. V. actually teaches and adds a lot of interesting facts to the lecture.

I took the A&P 1 lab with him this last semester and it was hard but good. His quizzes can be difficult so study the reading thoroughly if you want to get an A. He prepared us pretty well for the practical but still had to do most of the studying by myself in the LRC. Overall good teacher! Condescending? Yes, but he was still willing to help.

teaches from PDFs, very easy and clear. Just study your PDFs, you have a clicker quiz after each chapter and a test after 3 chapters. LOVED THIS CLASS!

Took him for both 1085L and 1086L, it's not an easy class you have to do the readings for each lab. He gives 12 quizzes, directly from the readings. Enjoyed his labs. drops your lowest quiz grade and adds it as extra credit, and a 40 point practical, got An A for both classes.:D

Its a tough class because its Anatomy but as long as you study, you will do fine, 10 quizes, midterm and final, quizes are mmult. choice. uses the Lecture textbook for the quiz diagram questions. Is helpful, you just have to ask him.

He is EXCELLENT. All his tests are EXACTLY from the slides. They are also all multiple choice. He's kind of mean and snarky, but just study his Power Points and you'll get an A. You have to have a good memory. And you HAVE to study. He gives little quizes too, so study up before class.

I enjoyed having Dr. Vrotsos for A & P I lecture and lab. He is very straight forward and knowledgeable. His quizzes and tests are from his PowerPoints. The material is challenging so study a lot!

Anatomy is not an easy subject. You have to dedicate three hours everyday as he suggests. Also, connect online helps a lot with his quizzes and exam. On the other hand, beside his personality, he makes a summary of the class and put it in power point where he test you.

He is an okay professor. His quizzes and exams are not easy by no means, and you literally have to invest alot of time if you intend to pass his class. I would advise you to take him if you have alot of time on your hands to study. His questions are very tricky, but his class his passable if you work very hard !!!

Let's start off by saying Anatomy is a hard subject. If you don't study, you WILL fail. That being said, this guy is an awesome professor. My favorite in my experience at BC thus far. All questions taken from his power points which he makes very clear. He's happy to answer any questions the class has and makes the material interesting. TAKE HIM!

Good prof but be repaired to study a LOT!! As with any decent AP professor. Its not an easy class by any means but an A or B is attainable if you manage your time. Book is not required but the connect code that comes w the book is. His test questions are almost word for word the same practice questions on connect. Do connect and you will be fine!!!

I ended up withdrawing from this class only bc I didn't follow his instructions.All these people complaining about him/this class are the ones that didn't study. Anatomy is a hard, but very important subject.If you're not taking it seriously, you should search for a different career.I'm trying again this fall,this time following his directions.

It isn't an easy A but he's very fair and explains the material very well. You MUST study hard to pass. Each test covers 3 chapters which can be overwhelming but if you study you will be fine. A helpful tip is to study all the bold words on the slides. they WILL be on the test. also be on time for class. he hates lateness

Micro is a hard class nut he is a great teacher. his grading criteria is fair and clear, everything is on the syllabus. 4 quizzes 4 tests and a presentation. presentation is 30% of your grade but it is fun! i would definitely take him again.

Took him for Anatomy & Physiology 1 + Lab. Awesome professor! provided a lot of in depth information that was helpful especially when it came for preparing for the test and lab practicals. I took him for Biology 1 Great professor!

He pretty much babies the students. His tests are really easy obviously if you have studied. Do not expect to pass without studying. Tests come right from powerpoint but if you read the chapter and watch you tube videos, it will make class super easy.

Great Prof!! He won't baby u, tells u what to do & its up to u to get it done! Must study 8-10 hrs/week. Weekly quizes on the previous chapter forces u to study frequently which made practical easy. Only teaches what u have to know, no extra stuff, and fair grader. I expected a B from him (88%) but he gave me an A!!!

Professor V is awesome! There's lots of Connect homework and D2l online tests,they are easy grades as long as you do them. The tests are all off the powerpoints. Anatomy is a hard course, but it's doable! Use the recorded lectures on connect to help you study. Prof V is a good looking guy. Make sure you come to lectures even if he says it's not req

Dr. V is a bit egotistical, so you'd better think your questions through before he chews you out. After each section there is an online assignment worth 5 points, so set an alarm or something so that you don't forget. You NEED to study the text as well as the lecture slides to get a good grade. The test questions can be tricky so READ CAREFULLY.

Dr. Vrotsos was an excellent teacher. if you stick to your HWs and the powerpoints you will pass the class with at least a B. His instructional skills are outstanding, he is energetic and enthusiastic when teaching anatomy. Id definitely take him again.

set syllabus, you know what you are going to be graded on and when it is do. If you do not miss any of the online assessments, which are at home open book, you will pretty much pass. For the lab be sure to study what was gone over in the previous lab because there is a quiz every single class, which really makes it better to round out your grade.

PROF. VROTOSO WAS VERY NICE. ANSWERED ANY QUESTION YOU ASKED. VERY HELPFUL AND CREDITABLE. HE WAS CLEAR ABOUT WHAT T STUDY AND LABS WERE INTERESTING. ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS WE HAD A QUIZ EVERY LAB. SO JUST STUDY TGHE MATERIAL AND YOULL DO GOOD. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I took Vrotsos for A&P 2 Lab & I wish I would have taken him for lecture too. He's a great teacher. I was only a few points away from receiving an A after my final test & he was nice enough to give me those extra points. We got a midterm & final, a quiz in the beginning of our class for what was covered in the prior class. I WOULD TAKE HIM AGAIN!!!

Dr. V is one of the best professors at Broward College. If you are looking to get an easy A choose another professor, but if you are looking to learn anatomy and understand anatomy he is the one. I am now enrolled in a health science program at BC and because of the strong anatomy background I got I am doing great. I would take his class any day.

Wonderful teacher. Everything is very clear as far as grading and attendance. The class isn't difficult because he puts the info he wants you to know in power points. Study PowerPoints + doing connects passing test grades. You have to purchase the book just for the connect code. If you study you will be fine!

Very serious teacher. There is a quiz giving in the beginning of each class on information learned the week before. That means attendance is key to passing because the only grades there is to get is for the quizzes (10 puts ech) , 2 practicals worth 50 points each and participation. Studying is key so much info to know l!

He is very straight forward and lets you know what you expect. If you study you will have no trouble passing. Be sure t be on time and do your pre labs

Dr. Vrotsos is a very knowledgeable, clear, and organized professor. He gives many opportunities to build your grade up. His lectures are very interesting and engaging. He is not out to get you. You know exactly what to study for tests, if you print and read his lecture notes. Watch the Connect videos and read a lot every day.

He provides you w/ powerpoint slides of everything he wants you to know so that you don't really have to rely on the book. I wish he were teaching A&PII in the summer so that I could have him again. I really feel that he was a big part of my success in this class. It is a VERY difficult class but he sets you up for success. He's also intimidating.

Dr. V is the best! I took his Lab and it was very clear that you must study the material, but he is very straight forward with what you need to know. What was nice is that your grade is not based on the midterm and final. You have pre-lab quizzes online, and quizzes at the beginning of every class(last weeks material) He wrote the text book!;)HELPS

Absolutely loved this class! I took his lab in Spring 2017 and passed with an A. He's extremely willing to answer any questions you have, should they arise and he explains in depth. You must study a lot if you want to pass, but you should expect that in any college science class. Taking his class again in the fall, I would recommend to anyone!

Dr V is the best! I'm taking him for AP II lecture and lab. I wish I would have taken him for AP I. He is very knowledgeable and answers any questions you have. His power points are clear and straight to the point. He tells you exactly what you need to know for his tests. This is a HARD class but he does a great job at explaining everything.

His class consist of 12 quizzes (one quiz a week), 2 practical exams (watch his videos and you'll be fine), 12 prelab assignments that are due before lab day. He's a good instructor but talk to you like your in highschool. And he gives you 3 points per class if you clean your station and put everything back. Overall he is a good instructor.

Prof. Vrotos is a fair professor. He is funny and can be sarcastic. His grading criteria is VERY clear. For BSC2085L there are 12 quizzes and 2 practicals. He does not give extra credit so make sure to ace your quizzes. BSC2085 lecture there are 5 exams. And 5 online quizzes. STUDY STUDY STUDY! TIME management is key! FOCUS!

Took him for anatomy 2 lab and he was awesome. His grading was more than fair compared to other lab classes I've taken in the past. Great professor and always willing to help. If you are lazy you won't do well so I only recommend taking him if you're motivated to study for this class.

I GOT AN 89. I would of liked him better if he would of bumped me up. But overall, great prof. i learned so much. It was easy but u need to study. He has a youtube channel that helped me a lot w the midterm practicals.

Great Professor. Anatomy is really hard and you have to study a lot to do well. FORGET ABOUT YOUR SOCIAL LIFE! Chapter quizzes are given every class so show up for labs on time and study all the materials for chapter quizzes you never know what will be on the quiz. Study hard and you will do well. I took him for AP2 and he was amazing. Everything on his powerpoints is on the test. If you study and memorize the powerpoints, you will definitely pass with great grades. He is funny and easy-going. I only wish he gave extra credit opportunities, but other than that, I would highly recommend him for other AP students!

I honestly loved having Dr. V as a professor. He was very helpful and always willing to talk and answer questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professor that is clear with what needs to be completed and kind to his students. Although he can be tough sometimes, he always prepares you really well for what to expect in the semester.

He makes the lab book so he knows what he's talking about. Has a youtube that helps ALOT for the practical. Exams based on his lecture slides which he opens before semester starts so you can study ahead. Gives you everything you need to succeed. very organized and follows the syllabus to the tee. Solid choice! Hard class, but not because of him.

Dr. V is an awesome professor. This is a tough class, you MUST study at least 1-2 hrs a day, but if you are going into health sciences, you will know your stuff. He is very clear in the first 2 classes of what he expects. If you study his slides and do the online work you will pass.

Dr. Vrotsos is a great professor that sets very clear expectations. His syllabus is well organized and he sticks to it! There are no surprises in his class. By no means is this class an "easy A" and you will have to work hard if you want to come out with an A. The two practical exams are tough (regardless of professor). Study and you're fine.

This class is definitely doable. I'm currently taking it in the 6-week time span though so it is pretty compact. Lots of studying if you're not too familiar with bio (I was not). He gives clear expectations for everything, but exams can definitely be tricky. ProctorTrack monitors you the whole time. You have to study the notes and the quizzes

Dr.V is an absolutely phenomenal teacher. He is very clear with what you will be tested on and gives you multiple chances to improve yourself. His quizzes at the beginning of every lab class help to boost up your grade big time. Pay attention! He cares for his students unlike most professors. I wouldnt pass this class up if i were you!!!

Great professor, easy-going, great grader, took class for Spring 2020 from Jan 1 til now and he is great ONLINE, he has 11 Quizzes, 7 assignments, 4 exams with camera plus the Final, and 4 discussions and plus bonus discussion. I will take him again if I have to, and he is an easy grader and respond to emails fast. Love him.

6 week course. Here's the thing, A&P isn't easy to begin with. You have to study! I only had him for lab. BUY THE LAB MANUAL. You will not pass the class without it (literally). Everything you need for the quizzes & practicals came from the manual directly. Very knowledgable and well respected professor. Will be taking him again for A&P2 lab.

He is an educated man, he knows his content so much that I think he forgets that we dont!! His test and quizzes are straight from his notes! He is overall a good experience

Attending his lectures is crucial if you want to pass as there are some topics within the textbook and his Powerpoint slides that won't be on his quizzes or exams. I suggest you do all the assignments and extra credit given as they make a big difference. He also has recorded lectures, which makes a big difference between hearing his in-person once!

He's a great professor, very sarcastic in a funny way. Don't expect to pass if you don't study. His lectures are very informative and he connects concepts to real life situations. Would recommend if you are good at studying and pacing yourself

If you take yourself and your studies seriously, take Dr. V. If you plan on applying to a healthcare program and want to know what you're talking about, take Dr. V. He treats you like an adult and he sets crystal clear expectations for his classes and labs - he made the lab book he uses. Study and you'll be successful.

As tough as any BSC2010 class would be, but Professor Vrotsos makes it not so bad. The only thing is that there is nothing for extra credit.
