Let me strat off by saying that i dont like science. He helped me understand the whole molecule, genetics and photosynthesis process. Professor Sainz is an excellent professor. He gives second and even third chances. He gives his students extra credit participation points. It is mandatory to take notes. He gives only 2 tests for the whole semester. If you do bad on a test you go to his office hours and he lets you make up the number of questions you got wrong but orally. You also have class participation of 50 points for the whole semester. if you get more than 50 its extra credit. and if youre never absent you get extra points too.

This is my second semester in which I have taken this professor. He's such a sweetheart and there is no possible way of failing this class at all. Theres only a Midterm and Final, but participating enough can get you exonerated from them. Participation is 50 points, and you gain those points by answering questions in class. If you exceed that and get enough before the exam, you can immediately get 100% on it and he can curve your grade if youre just under the next letter-grade requirement.

I highly recommend taking this course because you learn a lot and it is easy to pass. If you don't do great on an exam, you can always make it up. I got a low grade on a test and answered a few questions on the makeup test, which changed my grade to an A.
