If you're calculus-impaired, this is the instructor for you. Friendly, very helpful, good sense of humour, knows his stuff and explains it really well. His classes were actually fun.

Great guy, and really approachable. He made the classroom environment really possitive and condusive to learning. Plus he was just really nice and smiled all the time, brightens your day. ^_^

Not only is Eric a good teacher, he brightens your day with his smile. Yes, he has a different accent but he speaks very good english.

those ratings are irrelevant, I have no problem understanding, he has an accent but he makes no grammatical mistakes whatsoever. This class is so simple that if you can't understand then you have issues, he spends half the class trying to re-explain the easiest concepts, most teachers wouldnt bother

He is really helpful and always makes sure that EVERYONE in the class understands it before he moves on. The first half of the semester is all the hard stuff and then its just coasting from there. He includes the hard-to-remember formulas at the back of each test and reviews before the tests and quizs. Overall a great teacher.

His Exams are similar to the practice tests. He teaches you to think and gets the class involved.

Great teacher! Always comes to class with a smile on his face. Midterms and finals are exactly like the practice tests, so they're super easy if you take the time to do those. He likes telling jokes here and there.

Awww he's cute, he has a happy look about him. Now I'm horrible with math, and I always will be so nothing will change that, but I do like his teaching style and how he lays out his lessons. His accent might be hard to get past for some people, but It's not too bad. Oh he makes lots of silly mistakes when he's tired so watch out!

Eric is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. I visited his office many times and he always had patience for my questions. He can go fast in class, but if you go to his office, you will succeed. Study all of the word problems for exams, and he uses some questions from the text, so read the book!!

One of the best Profs at MalU. His course is the only Math Course I have taken that I can see myself using. He uses a lot of real life examples. Be prepared to think.

Sometimes a little hard to understand, but otherwise an amazing prof! I'm pretty bad at math, but he made it easy and actually interesting! Prepares you really well for exams, and exams aren't too tough so long as you study! I highly recommend taking a course from him.

Eric is a great teacher. He knows the material, he gives good lectures. The course was a bit of a shock having not taken Principles Math 12 - but I made it through. It's important to get all his lectures, don't get behind, do the homework and write all the tests. I learnt a lot more than I thought I ever would in math!

Stats classes are bound to be miserable but Eric was a good professor. Helpful and knew his material well. The class was fast paced though so try not miss even one lecture.

I passed calculus 121 after failing it the first time thanks to Eric. Thats a hell of an accomplishment in itself considering how lost I was the first time. His problems are well explained and his humor breaks up the monotony of lecture. One of the best in the math faculty! Although I got I C It felt deserved and I was proud of it.

Eric made math not only bearable but also enjoyable. His lectures were thoughtful and helpful, he is very approachable and understanding. I couldn't come to class due to illness once and he made a point of asking how I was feeling when I returned. Very understanding as I couldn't attend the first week of classes.

Eric is a great prof, but If you aren't naturally good at math you will struggle. He teaches to the top end of the class, so a solid base of knowledge is important beforehand. His tests are always very straightforward, and within the topics he outlines. NOTE: he often puts example questions on tests, as well as questions from the textbook.

Eric enjoys teaching and is kind. I enjoyed his jokes. The class was fast pace but if committed to doing the work assigned, you will do well. His exams were clear and fair. He provides practice test questions & was available for questions/help outside of class. He does have a thick accent but I was able to understand him after a couple classes.

Instead of rushing over key concepts, Eric makes sure the entire class understands everything before moving on. Lots of opportunities are given to the class to practice before the test. I was dreading stats based off what others had said about the class. Eric makes each lecture an absolute delight; he is always excited to be there and you can tell that he cares about you as a person not just as a number. He breaks up the heavier content with lots of examples and tells jokes to keep you interested. I leave each class with a smile.
