He is a good teacher, you do have to read a lot by yourself in order to fully understand the material. His tests are very straight foreward and his quizzes are matching which are easy--and they add up to a test grade which is nice. He is very helpful if you go to his office, he explained a lot to me and i would definatly take him again!

i'm sorry for those non-science major folks who have to take this class. It involved the combination of other chemistry & biology classes. This prof. isn't too hard. You have to prepare for lectures very well before u attend them. I do admit that his exams aren't easy. The only thing I don't like is his quizes. They aren't extra credits.

I had him for Anatomy lab, and compared to the other professors, he was actually pretty easy. He told us everything we needed to know for the test, and he had pretty good reviews. The class is hard in itself, but he tries to make everyone understand. I hear his lecture is tough though.

Great Teacher. I made an A with relative ease. Pay attention in class, read and understand your notes and then read the text for reinforcement.There are also a lot of practice exercises on line to practice. Just google A&P quizzes.Good Luck

Excellent teacher.Those who think Dr. Albrecht is a bad teacher has no business taking A&P or any science class for that matter.Study the damn book & U will be fine. A&P is not sociology or theater appreciation. It is meant for smarty pants and hard working students.I like Dr. A and will be taking A&P 2 from him in the fall for anothe easy A.

Great teacher, great notes given, hard topics.

Pretty good instruction. Notes are very helpful. There is a lot of material and he tries to reduce. Exams are hard, but fair. Can be picky on some questions. Use the textbook to help. Plan on putting in your time.

He is a great Lab instructor. Moves around class the entire lab period to assist students. A&P is a challenging subject and requires you spending more time studying than you probably would other classes. He does great trying to simplify it. Exams are fair. Advise: Spend quality time on material- no shortcuts to that I hate to say :-(

He made a great lab proffessor. I had a different professor for lab and he was always willing to explain a topic that my class hadn't gotten to yet. He has review worksheets posted that are very helpful, and a few very easy quizes to boost your grade which is great since they are so simple to do and most people need a little boost after the tests.

He is an amazing teacher. he gave me great advice about different learning methods and how to improve my grades. his tests are fair;not tricky. he is extremely open and helpful. most students may not like him because they don't take time to study. overall, he is great

He is a great teacher! He has the students interest at heart. He is fair!

Gives partial notes, which are helpful. If you do the objectives you will do well. He seems interested in students doing well, but in the end you have to study.

Tests/notes are from the book. Read/use reviews posted for maximum results. Grades labs somewhat brutally, pre-lab quizzes are difficult. He is a decent teacher; but simply showing up to class/paying attention does not yield good grades. There is a decent amount of EC (20 points). Not easy/hard just requires effort. Attendance mandatory for lab.

Dr. Albrecht can teach me anatomy any day! Seriously though, this class is easy for any competitive nursing major... Or English major like myself. Read the book. I don't know what's so difficult about that.

I don't know what yall talkin abt he is an awesome prof I was always excited to go to his class coz it helped me on the tests. We have done only two tests and I have made very good grades and this is coming from someone like me who does not like science.he has made me love biol so much that my phobia for it is gone I can't thank him enough hes best

I do not understand why he has bad reviews. He's very funny and helpful. Crystal clear about what will be on exams and some questions are word for word from study guides. I would take him again. Read the textbook, study, pay attention in class, and you'll do just fine. A&P is a different kind of animal from chemistry so be prepared.

Albrecht is much better than any of my chemistry lab professors were. He's straight forward and goes over exactly what you need to know for the practical. However, lab is by no means an easy class, but this is not the teacher's fault. I would recommend him, he puts a lot of review material on D2L also!

I took him for lab last semester and I wish he were also teaching my lab this semester! Lab is difficult, no matter who you have, but he made it as straight forward and clear as possible. I knew exactly what I needed to study for each practical and he posted a ton of extra resources online that were incredibly helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

This guy is awesome very funny and really knows his stuff, he applies the knowledge to real life scenarios and makes it interesting.

I absolutely love him! He is passionate about what he teaches. He lectures from power points that he posts online and also provides fill in the blank notes if you learn better than way. The tests come straight from the objectives, powerpoints, and some from the book. The material can be difficult but Albrecht is there to help

Use objectives and read text. Does use examples from lecture for testing. Some aspects are boring, but the cellular information is interesting.

Fantastic professor! He tells you everything that's going to be on the practicals and gives you plenty of time to study within lab. He directs some of the study time so you can really focus on the main topics on the practical and your weaknesses. He provides plenty of online resources to aid your study like videos and games. Definitely recommend!

Clarity on syllabus

Although he was sometimes a bit monotone, I enjoyed this professor. He lets you know what's on the practical and gives you time to study. He even helped me with some lecture questions. The class itself is challenging because you have two practicals and a few online quizzes. However, the quizzes are easy, and he gives you bonus quizzes.

I really enjoyed the lab. The professor made sure we knew what and how we would be tested. He provided videos and spent time reviewing the microscope. These intro classes seem to be filled with students that expect grades to be handed out without effort.

The volume of material is pretty high. He tries to make sure you understand exactly what you will be tested on. I did not have a problem with the teaching style. Probably could use more in class activities.

Professor Albrecht is incredible helpful, toxicology is hard and if even hoarder when you don't speak the language very good, I failed my second exam,I went to his office and he explained everything to me question by question. He is probably the best teacher at KSU. Thank you professor

Professor Albrecht brings a lot of information to his lectures that you have to be able to digest and interpret for assessments. Although some of his quizzes may appear to be difficult, it really just requires a thorough understanding of the material. Overall, you'll learn a lot from Toxicology but you'll have to work for a good grade.

You need to go to class to understand the information. Make sure to use the objectives.

Dr. Albrecht is a great professor if you can definitely take him! His exams are based on class lectures and supplemental documents. Need to attend class to take notes, since the ppts are not posted. Attendance is not mandatory but I would suggest going. Use given objectives for each exam. Grades are based on Exams (4) + the Final, and 3 Quizzes.

Dr. A is EXCELLENT. Super smart, gave fantastic lectures. Attending class is a MUST. Toxicology was a hard class in itself so prepare to work hard, but Dr. A is a great professor and does a fantastic job teaching concepts, explaining, connecting ideas, answering questions, and reviewing.

Make sure to look at objectives. He is very good at responded to quiz and test questions through emails and provides detailed answers. You can drop at test.

Hard to believe that for a 4000 level course, many decided to not come to lectures..and probably paid for it. He basically outlines several of the questions for each exam. Study the objectives. Attend class lectures. Read the book, he uses material from it on the exams. Many of the questions are copied and pasted from the PP.

The class requires critical thinking. You can drop a test. Easy worksheet quizzes. Use the objectives to study. Take good notes.

Dr. Albrecht really tries to teach us how to use background information in biology to answer questions. Unfortunately, a lot of my fellow students are only interested in easy grades. They expect the class to be a bunch of completion assignments for a 4000 level course. He provided multiple bonus points, a dropped test, etc.

Toxicology is a difficult class but Dr. Albrecht does an amazing job at teaching it. The information is super interesting and uses lots of information from other classes. During lectures he quite literally tells you questions that will be on the exam. The class is easy if you attend lecture, read textbook and complete objectives. Take him!

Use objectives, go to class. 1Test dropped, bonus questions, expanded grading scale. He reported the class grades at the end and 60% got an A or B.

I really liked taking this class! Go to lectures it help with the material. The exams were open book, but still required studying ahead. 65% go an A or B. Lab was fun and Dr. A helped us understand the tissue sectioning so that we better understood the material.

Really enjoying lectures. Important to attend. Able to drop quizzes and replace test with final. In class assignments have been interesting.

Great professor! Hard course. I attended 99% of the lectures and barely passed. I personally enjoyed the lectures and found it was pretty interesting. 4 exams, final can replace the lowest score. (exams are lockdown browser w/camera in class) 6 worksheet quizzes, lowest dropped. 3 in-class assignments, lowest dropped.

Challenging class, but going to lectures and using the textbook is key. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for test prep alongside the objectives. Grading is tough but fair - put in the work and you can do well.

Try to take the lab and class with the same professor.
