Nicest professor at MC-R

if there was an another chilli icon i cud hav put it on, hot as in tiss ah! very clear lectures & interesting discussions. the best instructor i've come across since i started college. basically just READ the lesson before class & u'r straight.

So good proffesor, his quizes online and test are easy if you read the book and attend the lecture. WARNING..TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONE BEFORE YOU GET TO CLASS!!! Lecture is never boring with him. Easy to get an A+

Great professor, very interesting class. The real tough part was his exams, i felt the questions were too difficult, and there were always 2 answers that could be correct. I studied extremely hard for this class and somehow would still not do so well on the exam. In the end he did curve grades.

great professor. really nice, and helpful, and funny too. he is one professor that sees a student's potential. i didn't do so hot on tests at first, but he said he knew i was smart and that i could do it. he is very encouraging and very helpful.

very cool teacher class was full of interesting discussions, tests were somewhat hard but he gave a study guide (with answers) for a few tests with more questions then the actual test and primarily used questions from the guide. even if you fail tests, if you participate in class he may curve your grade.

great professor. tests may seem difficult at first, and sometimes it seems as if there are 2 correct answers. study the book religiously. he is very helpful, very nice, and genuinely concerned if you are having a problem. great lectures, oh and turn off the cell phones in class, and ARRIVE ON TIME.

very interesting, helpful professor. he likes to be referred to as his title, though "Dr." his tests are hard, but he does curve them. arrive on time, turn off the damn cell phone, and you'll be ok. sees potential in students, does not judge intelligence based on test scores (woo hoo!)

He's the funnest teacher I've ever got. He makes the class so fun! with he's own personnal stories that will crackyou up. Be prepared for online quizzes on the chapter that is do on the next lecture. most of all make sure not to give him lame excuses for not being in class. B/C he's an expert on identifying lies. Highly recommended.

Hey if anyone is interested or have to take psychology 102 i recomended taking it with this professor not only is her fair but he makes the class so interesting and fun. This is the 2nd time i retook a psychology class and i didi better in his class then i did in an other. As long as you show up to class and are up to date with the reading then

I really enjoyed attending his class even though it was one of the hardest I have ever taken. The grades are mainly based on quizzes and exams. The final exam is optional, but will replace your lowest test grade. Participating in class will really help your grade out even if the points aren't recorded. So speak up--reading the book REALLY helps.

dr. benjamin was an amazing teacher..its a lot of information to learn everyday, but he teaches it in a way that you want to hear more. He doesnt just read word for word from the text book, he tells stories of real life expierences to help you understand the content of the text.

He love to teach and i enjoy his class. He has a great sense of humor and donot mind helping student after class or office hours. His office hours are ver fexible.

cool as hell!..he cares about his students. Just do what he asks of you and you will do great!..knows how to relate to everyone..it was def one of my interesting classes.

it was my first semester of college. we had 4 exams and the final exam you had an option to take it and it would replace your lowest grade. I totally bombed the first exam and then by the 3rd exam i realized you really had to read the textbook before the exam. Listen to what he says in class, that will mostly help you on the essay questions.

Dr. Benjamin is a great professor. He makes the class very interesting. You will do better if you study his notes and read the book before class. He is very helpful and funny. You have to take his class seriously or you won’t do well. If you want to learn he is the one.

This is one of my favorite teachers of all time. His rules are strict and his tests are hard but his ability to teach accedes that of many other teachers. Its his relatebility and humor that do the trick. He is wise and down to earth. If you want to actually learn you want this teacher.

There are days that I get along with him and there are days that I dont. But he is a very good professor.

He is a great proffessor and the way he teaches is really fun and makes sure the class connects with every topic which is being discussed and is very helpful.Its important not to miss any of the lectures and hope you'll enjoy it the way I did.

Dr. B is the man. He is an excellent teacher who tells a lot of stories, but always relates them to the subject at hand. He will talk about clubbing, marijuana, ****enness, convertibles, hip-hop, and his college years - all in one lecture - and then tie each story to a psychological phenomenon. Be prepared to take notes, he doesnt use the board.

Really nice guy, engaging lectures, has amusing stories to tell. Exams are easy; I didn't even take notes, I just read the book. If you take him, be prepared to hear the phrases "Dig this" and "Bless your heart" about a dozen times per lecture!

Great professor. I love his class. Only 4 tests and an optional final. His tests are not easy, make sure you study and go over his old tests they help a lot. Try not missing class and always be on time. Every day he talks about his daughter lol

Dr. B is a great guy. Psych class can be boring and difficult for someone who's taking it for the first time. But Dr. B makes psychology class very entertaining and easy.....I just love him.

Dr. B is probably one of my favorite professors. Be prepared to study your ass off but it is totally worth it. You will learn. If psych is your major definitely take Dr. B.

Dr.Benjamin is one of the best professors I have ever had and he's very educated to(but sometimes he can be a little to cocky and thinks he's right about everything). As a warning to his class, his tests are hard and you have to read the book.But his lectures are so goood!!!!And I love the type of pants he wears ;).

Best professor I've had so far. You'll look forward to coming to his class, his lectures are very interesting and fun. He knows what he is talking about, and he is very hands-on. Very educated and funny. Most of his tests are based on his lectures, if you pay attention you'll do very well. Absolutely loved this class

Very smart man, fun guy, interesting. Class is well-organized. Need text for studying for tests. Attend class and you will get a good grade. He is laid-back but does not accept tardiness. I enjoyed the class, but sometimes he went on rants that were funny but not necessarily related. All in all, great time with Dr. Benjamin :)

Awesome professor. Very educated and knows his stuff well. His lectures are interesting and engaging. A little bit strict but extremely fair. Tests are a little hard but an A is not impossible. Study hard and read from the book. Overall just a great professor. Highly recommended.

Loved this professor! He was awesome. Not only is he down to earth and funny, he really cares about what he teaches and tries to make sure everyone understands. The tests are hard but as long as you read the book and take notes, you'll pass. he has a final that you can take to replace a test and as long as you show your working hard, your good!

He is a very nice person. I could say he was the best teacher I had at MC. I transferred to a 4 year school after taking his class and I had no problem with physics. I highly recommend him.

Professor Benjamin's exams are extremely hard. However I love his style of teaching and he always keeps you entertained. I HIGHLY recommend taking him.

the best professor i've ever had at any university i've attended. He not only teaches you about the subject matter but gives real world examples through his own experiences. the tests are difficult but if you do the leg work on your end its not impossible to do well.

I took psych 102 with Dr. Benjamin and I sometimes felt intimidated by the level of energy in the class room. What I mean to say is that things got crazy in there. Discussions took all kinds of crazy turns. It was loud. Sometimes people yelled. It was quite an adventure.

Dr. Benjamin is the type of person that just being around, makes you smarter. He acts really tough but it's just a front. He generally relates the things we are learning to every day situations. He encourages discussion, espec on controversial topics. One of the best professors at mc! do not pass up as a py major! just dont be late.

Dr.Benjamin is a cool and laid back kind of guy. But do not disrespect him you will get shut down, but he is cool. Teaches in a manor that you can relate and retain the info. He uses both text book and lectures so you have to keep up with both. Attendance, there are no excused absences you will fail at the END even if you have a A. Don't be late!

favorite professor so far. he's really smart, witty, & makes everyone laugh, hes just a great professor. the only thing is that there's 4 tests and no homework so theres a lot of pressure to do well on each of the tests, but study the book/notes well and its not impossible. i always looked forward to this class :)

Good....lecturer, however gives thE most ambiguous useless tests.you can study hard and still get a c because of the ambiguity of the tests..if u argue he may credit you...turn your phone off and get to class on time you think hes nice and reasonable..but he'll drop you...dont take if u really want an a

Its college not high school, you have to study and come to class. His lectures weren?t boring and tests were not hard. If you read the book, study the online practice test and questions the book offers you will pass the tests with at least a B. COME TO CLASS EVERYDAY AND BE ONTIME! He is a stickler about being on time. But overall a good professor.

I took him and i failed my first test miserably. But i got an A on the next 3 and got an A in the course. I dont understand the negative remarks. He will not hand you an A. He is very engaging and class is always fun, read the book and the tests are very manageable. If YOU want the A you can get it and hardwork will earn you his benefit of doubt.

it is crucial you get to class on time he closes the door as soon as class begins other than that he was ok jokes around a little too much for my liking and relates everything to sex and drugs but made me remember things. hes also quite good looking

What can I say about Dr. B. 1st don't call him Mr. or Professor; he'll straighten it out right there. Dr. B. is one of the best teachers I've had. His lectures are always interesting, and he uses alot of examples in real life. Read the text before class!! His tests aren't based on terms so be prepared to explain. Great teacher & kinda hot

He is NOT the worst professor! If you never ask questions in class & is always quiet then of course you would fail! His test arent that hard if you go to his office beforehand, he'll hook you up. He clearly warns he's not really going to discuss the book but EMPHASIZE you must read it may pop up in tests. THIS IS COLLEGE GROW UP PPL! Hes the best.

He's far from horrible. He explains the material thoroughly. He doesnt just talk about his family senselessly, he associates them with key terms. But I dont get most of his references.Maybe Im too young? Not an easy A, since I have a B.Requires more than minimal effort.The tests are not purely from the textbook verbatim, some analysis+common sense.

took him a while ago. he cares about his students. he'll talk to u if he things u got potential but not working hard. annoying is that he wants u to call him Dr. people respect u without a Dr. title dude. his teaching style is not for kids tho. he teaches college level like. i got a bad grade but like him tho.

He is the best teach i have ever had in all my years in school! he make psychology so much fun. Class goes by so fast when he's teaching, He's cool, funny and a little strict. You can really tell that he loves what he does because he doesnt make teaching seem like a chore like some teachers do. I can't stress how much i love him.. his wife's lucky

Dr.B (not mr but DR.) is a really great prof. his tests are not that hard, they just make you think and MAKE SURE YOU READ THE BOOK!! test are mainly on the book and some bits of lectures,lectures are fun and engaging, id recommend sitting in the front for better experience

He is an engaging teacher. His tests aren't as hard as he claims (except for random trivia), but you must study/read the book. You can always see him for help. He often gets behind in his lectures & skims over material. He's generally clear, but since his lectures are conversation-like, it can be hard to discern what info we need to know.

Dr. Benjamin is THE BEST professor you'll ever have. He makes every class worth your time and he's helpful outside of class. He also relates most things to his life, which is eventful. He's strongly opinionated which is legit. He's also VERY HILARIOUS. Be on time for his class and do the work you'll ace it!!

Dr. Benjamin is great! All of his exams are open notes....which are very very helpful. He's very funny and is willing to clarify anything for you! I'd definitely recommend him. But take notes and read the chapter before coming to class! Very funny and uses good examples! I recommend recording the lecture and referring back to them for better notes!

professor Benjamin class is not a class for the lazy, but he's class is very helpful . i learned how to study efficiently in his class. not just maintenance rehearsal , but elaborate rehearsal something i learned in his class. even though his course is not the easiest he helps you 100% , he always available. I freaking Love him :)

Incorporates his research into class, giving all his students the recipe/formula for college success. Read book, be on time, & be assertive, his class is not for the passive learning clarifies any question. Be assertive & active like basketball its "hand down man down" in his class.
