He's a cool guy! It's a fun class, especially if like computers & geography. There's a lab almost every week, but they're not difficult. He truly cares about his students. If you need help he's more than willing to assist you. No homework or final exam. Just a midterm and a final project/presentation at the end of the semester. I recommend!

he does nice powerpoints, hes funny, nice, and shows us videos that go with the lectures. hes adorable. he made my day most days. sometimes before class he will do a little inspirational pep talk or show us cool fun videos. the class is really fun. i definitely recomend taking this class

This man is a god send if you need a GPA boost and an easy A. If you like history and geography, like myself, then he will love talking to you in class. Once he knows your name easily, you've got a solid grade. The one term paper is incredibly easy, and so are his few tests and quizzes. Show up, be interested in California history, and get an A.

Others are posting that this is the easiest class ever and that you will get an automatic "A" and it is not true. Prof Blahd gives homework but it is based off your opinion so it is easy. If I didn't do the online work I wouldn't have passed the class. He is really nice though, so if you run into problems just talk to him. That's what I did.

He is a good teacher who knows what he is talking about. He assigns homework and some of it is online, but majority of it is based on your opinion so it's hard to mess up. He assigns one final project at the end that you can choose to do with other people or not. Very easy class just show up and pay attention and you shouldn't have any problems.

Amazing professor. He cares about making sure that what you learn is going to stick! His tests are easy if you study. His lectures can get a bit boring, but if you stick with it, you won't be disappointed. If I needed any other geopraphy courses, I would without a doubt take him again. He's a good person who cares about you retaining information.

I love Professor Bladh. He's passionate about teaching the topic to students and I remember how he would always write down inspirational quotes at the start of class and I appreciate that. I really learned a lot, despite it being an easy-going class.

Great teacher he's one of the nicest teachers I had in cypress college. At the beginning of class he receives us with an inspirational quote ane is always trying to make the class fun he is pretty clear in his lecture and doesn't confuse or jump to another subject I would totally take him again!

I loved this class! Online homework every week but it's very simple and mostly based on opinion. Tests are not difficult either as he gives a study guide and reviews in class. Lectures are very interesting; usually powerpoint and a documentary. He is very knowledgeable and helpful inside and outside of class. Easy A!

The nicest teacher ever! I took his online class in the summer and he was very helpful and replied to my emails within 24 hours. You can tell he loves this subject and it gets you excited for the material. There are no right or wrong answers, the assignments are all based on opinion. I would def take this class if i were you!

Professor Bladh makes Geography fun. He starts the class off with a quote on the board and then he puts on a funny video. His class consists of lectures but he also puts up interesting documentaries that make it fun. The quizzes are very simple if you study the guide that he provides, also, the homework is really easy. I really recommend him!

It was the first time taking an online class I honestly loved it. His assignment are really easy and he is such a nice professor. I highly recommend his class! very easy A.

His lectures were interesting. The book was a fun read. Overall, he was very knowledgeable in the subject. There are 3 tests, 1 World Project and the final was written. The prompt is given to you before you take the final so it's no biggie. The test isn't difficult. It comes directly from the study guide. You just need to look for the answers.

Professor Bladh is very passionate about geography, he enjoys it and makes it interesting for the students. This is one of the classes I looked forward to going to, his lectures are amazing! Hands down Professor Bladh is the best professor at Cypress, I would retake another one of his classes!

He's a pretty laid back guy and vey cooperative. Doesn't care too much about phones or other devices and let's us eat he's an easy grader. You really don't need the textbook. Just make sure to do the online homework on canvas, not doing a couple can effect your grade.

Professor Bladh is one of the easy-going and caring professor in Cypress College. His class was very straight forward and the materials were fairly easy. I enjoyed his class so so much and I recommend every student to take his class, you won't regret it. I wish he taught other classes other than Geography. Great teacher!

Really easy class. I took this class online durning the summer. Test follow the study guide. One big project thats super easy and actually fun to do. The two test are each 50 questions. Extreemly clear grading criteria.

Easy class to pass with an A. U need to do online HW on time or it will hurt ur grade. He gives u extra credit opportunities. He gives study guides that correspond to tests! Final is answering 5 essay q's but he gives u the q's a week before the final so awesome! 1 easy project presentation that u can do with peers. Only 2 exams and final q's.

Mr. Bladh is an awesome teacher! He shows a lot of videos, and his lectures are great! His class is pretty fun, he has 3 tests, they're all easy if you use the study guides. His final is pretty easy as well! I would recommend you print out the power points before he goes over them, and then take notes in the margines.

Mr. Bladh was the first teacher I took at cypress and I have to say he is the most amazing, caring, respectful, funny and easiest teacher I have ever had. I loved everything about his class. OMG i love GEO 100 online! At first i was really nervous about taking an online class, and this is my first one, so i had no idea how it was going to work. But now i see that it totally works for me. Definitely recommend to everybody! Really easy assignments, and not that much to do. Professor Bladh is so nice and funny. Met him in person once.

Honestly didn't enjoy geography too much but I had over 100% in this class so I'd still recommedn him. His quizzes are 99% based on his lecture so study for quizzes with his lecture slides and you should be fine. In total there were 7 quizzes but he drops the two lowest quiz scores. Overall, it was prob the easiest class I've taken at cypress.

This class consist of: 11 prompt + writing section & 11 video + summary, 2 discussion boards, 2 tests, 1 project( gives a breakdown how to complete assignment EASY if you follow the guidelines) & lastly a essay style FINAL. He gives 10 ?'s and you need to pick 5. Easy class but you need work for your grade,

He is the easiest and nicest teacher I've ever had. For your work he gives you full credit even if you turn it in late. Just make sure you comment on other student's posts. There's no way you can't pass his class. Even if you fail the tests (2) you will still pass.

EASIEST Class ever. There are discussion posts, three tests, a final, and a project. Very simple, whoever rated this class hard yikes.

Professor Bladh has been the most easy going online professor I have had thus far. His directions are really clear. The material is really easy. Although, the quizzes and test have more to do with what is in the textbook rather than the online work that is due each week. As long as you stay on top of your work each week, it is an easy A class.

Honestly was not interested in this topic at first, but Professor Bladh made it much more interesting and I enjoyed the class a lot more than I thought. He is quite easygoing,his lectures are extremely useful, and from what I remember he hands out study guides!

the easiest class EVER, it was fun and so easy. I took it online over the summer and so far I score 98.8 % without even the extra online participation points. you will learn about a lot of issues and regions. The easiest class ever. If you don't get an A. then you have a problem.

I took this class over the summer and I think it was a fun experience. I learned a lot from different regions and problems in the world. Overall, I believe this class had a lot of assignments because it was taken over the summer. The assignments were really simple mostly about your point of view on some videos and articles. This class is an easy A.

Definitely, an easy course if you need it for GE requirements. Do the work, get full credit. A prime example of show up and pass, except there's nowhere to show up to online.

Amazing and interesting class

Professor Bladh is a good guy and the online course was easy. For each chapter, you have to do a reading, watch a video, write your reaction/thoughts to the video, and participate in a class discussion. The tests are mostly based on the textbook! He provides study guides for each test which is very helpful. The class is an easy A.

excellent teacher, super easy grader

GEOG 100 was an interesting online class. The professor uses VICE news video clips so each assignment was interesting. Plenty of time for test's and quizes. Highly recommend.

Looking for an easy A and a chill class? Online Geography 100 with Mr. Bladh is the class for you! All homework is opinion-based, so write how you feel on the specific topic and then you're golden. Textbook is not really necessary, so don't buy it unless you find it for cheap. On a side note, exams are bit on the tough side, but you'll be fine.

Really easy class. you just have to show up and do your work. Prof is a great guy who really cares about his class. He opens classes with funny videos that relate to geography. The only major work is the final project which isn't hard at all. The tests are all based off the lecture and he posts the slides online.

He cares a lot for his students and enjoys making jokes from time to time in class! You have one homework assignment per week, two tests, and one project. Everything is really easy to do, and you should be able to pass the class with an A as long as you do the work. Otherwise, this class is very enjoyable by the way the professor teaches!

Took his class during Summer 2020 with no geog background and since its a summer session class, I expected tons of work however his class was very manageable! I 100% recommend for you to take his class if you're doubting to! Make sure you do the homeworks which are short write ups of the videos you've watched and then you will get that A!

Professor Bladh is a pretty layback professor ,he likes to give student opportunity to turn in late work. His class was the easiest class I ever took, two exams with study guide provided and weekly short assignment, and plus he is a easy grader. Just do your work and you will for sure get an easy A and learn lots of fun and news knowledge of world!

I've never felt the need to review a professor before but he genuinely wants his students to succeed. His test are fair and there are study guides. He also has extra credit opportunities so take advantage. There are some group presentations (quick) but I didn't mind them. As long as you study, there is no excuse for not passing with a high grade!

Super easy class. The class only met for the first couple of weeks and then it was mostly all self-work. He does post lectures. They aren't that fun. But if you want easy A or if you want to self-teach Geography through the textbook and receive credit for it, take this class. Tests are super easy as long as you look into the book.

By far, one of the easiest classes I have taken. There's weekly modules with, nothing too drastic. There's a total of 2 exams, in which he provides study guides for, and a final essay. Definitely very informative! If you're looking for an informative class and a great professor, then this is the class to take.

Just follow the directions and you'll get an A. Homework for the week never takes more than an hour. Documentaries are interesting, you only have to write a paragraph on it and participate on the discussion board. You have two hours for a 50 question test. Final test is easy and the Final project took an hour to do. Easy A.

Best professor I have ever had. I thought I was going to not like this class at all but it was my favorite class this semester. This class is easy, I barely used the book only for the tests just do your work and you get an A. There was a two part project that is due at the end but if you start it early on in the course you will pass.

Eric Bladh is lenient with students and knows how to turn boring class time into something fun. I was worried that if you don't write extensively wordy papers then he'd be nitpicky and take away more points, but he doesn't expect too much. He's a casual type of guy, not lazy, not overwhelming, just plain and simple, perfect!

This was a very easy class there were only a few Zoom meetings that were needed to be attended to. The tests were relatively easy and just be sure to take notes and complete the discussions to pass. And I would suggest starting on the big project sooner than later to prevent unnecessary stress as it is not that difficult to complete.

Took his summer course, 10/10 recommend him! His class consisted of readings (from his textbook), quizzes on the reading, class discussions (based on interesting documentaries) and short paragraph write-ups. His test were on the readings and were fairly easy. Zero stress from this class. Bladh is a great professor who makes geography fun.

Professor Blahd makes some great and really informational lectures that I continue to use almost a year after taking his class. Highly recommend this course if it's your first time using GIS.

I had a short 8 week class and it was very easliy managable. Easy intresting assignments, and very easy on grading. 10/10 honestly. You can tell hes intrested in what hes teaching. I watch the lectures on x2 speed tho. slow talker.

Professor Bladh is amazing I took him again for a second semester for area 4. I definitely recommend. Very straightforward and honestly it is an easy A. He teaches you how to be a geographer and navigate the space around you. He also teaches about the importance of maps and how we already use and make our own. We are already geographers TAKE HIM.

I took Professor Bladh's class this past semester and it was the best class I have taken so far. The content was easily accessible (his canvas is super student friendly) and his assignments are all discussion posts with online tests/quizzes. Highly recommend taking this class as I learned a lot and its an easy A.

Revolves all around ArcGIS, so I would not say that you need to go to class if you have a basic understanding of how the program works, but would very much recommend having an up-to-date laptop/computer for this class and NOT A MAC! Macbook makes it harder to run the program, but very easy class anyone can do.

Straightforward class, easy textbook and only two exams. Overall easy class and if you know know geography already it becomes even easier. Nice guy and flexible.

Mr Bladh made his class informative and interesting. I learned a lot. He is down to earth, professional, helpful, and kind. All you have to do is complete all your work and study for the 6 chapter tests mid way through. I recommend this class.

The lectures were good & not too many assignments, but final assignment counts for like 1/2 the grade. The material contained a lot more geology than I would've liked from a geography class. Overall, easy A but if you're interested in the subject you may be let down.

First online class and it was super manageable. I knocked out each module every Monday and focused on the rest of my classes the rest of the week. He didn't grade super often but as long as you do the discussions and take the tests and everything you will be fine. Super nice guy and posted videos going over the textbook module each week

He is the best professor and the most smooth class I've taken. This G.E. class for me was super insightful and very easy to understand. He made his own textbook and each chapter takes about 30 minutes to read. 1 quiz for the chapter, 1 discussion post, and 1 write-up per week. You can easily get everything done in an hour or two.

Funny and nice

I took an online class with Professor Eric Bladh. He is a super easy professor, and it's easy to get an A if you keep up with the work. The class was straightforward and not stressful. I really appreciated how simple and clear everything was.

I like professor Bladh. He's an easy grader. Just do the assignments and you'll be fine. Be prepared for the Geography project, midterm, and the final but it's online so it's easy to go through.
