Great guy. Best Prof I've had here at Ville by far. He is always willing to help his students out. The work load is very heavy, and he expects a lot from his students. If you put in the effort to succeed, you will do just fine!

He is a great professor. However, he is very tough. He gives a lot of homework and his tests can be hard. Don't slack off in the beginning or it will be too hard to catch up. Very very helpful! He turned out to be my favorite professor at MU.

Gives you a lot of work. If you slack off you'll never catch up. He is a good prof, but if you don't want to do his mountains of work don't take him.

Anyone who does not do well in this guy's class...good luck in the business world. I'm there, and he has me well prepared. Good teacher. Just do the work and pay attention...that's it.

Anyone who says he is not helpful is not trying! If Dr. Blazer knows you are trying, he will bend over backwards. But, if you are slacking off he will cut you no slack. If you are not willing to work for a good grade, don't expect it.

This guy is awesome. He calls you to congradulate you for getting A's on his tests how crazy is that. He is not as hard as most people are saying. I did a moderate amount of work and I got an A.

Honestly cares goes out of his way to help. Good sense of humour. Excellent teacher learned and retained the information. Considered switching my conc from mktg to accounting or finance b/c of him. Apply yourself and you'll suceed even if you are mktg.

Really do not like this man at all. I worked my booty off for him and failed. Actually, 1/3 of my class failed 162 with him. He thinks each of his students should dedicate their lives to his class.

Knew going in this class was hard and it was a lot of work but I learned a lot. If I had the opportunity would choose him again. Really offers a lot of help. but remember...can't help those who can't help themselves...so make the effort and he will too.

AMAZING professor! He's a lot of work but you learn so much. He will go out of his way to help you do well. He is easy to get in contact with. He is interesting in class and time goes by fast. However, you need to do the assigned work otherwise you get behind and it is very hard to get caught up.

This class is hard. Know your accounting! He gives you a lot of work but it is helpful. He has good intentions. He's nice. He's open to questions so ask a lot.

only take easy classes with this class! you will work your butt off to get a C. you will learn a lot and it will be a good experience. do the extra credit. start the paper early. you will be thrilled to get out, but happy to have had the experience. nice guy.

I try to take him for EVERY business class. You learn your stuff! All of these people that are bad mouthing him and saying he's****.. they just didnt do any work! Its college! you have to work to LEARN and understand! he will work with you and help you. but if you dont try, its your own fault! If you just want an easy A, Id suggest Lobdell instead

The best. He's really hard butvery fair. He'll do anything to help you if you simply try and make a good effort. If you don't want to learn and waste your money, take the class somewhere else.

Great Professor. Works with the students in an attempt to have everyone do well. If you want to know the material, take Blazer. If you just want to pass the class....take someone else. I spent more time on his homework than any other class. But, now I know the material.

Dr. Blazer can be very intimidating at first, however, if you show interest and concern, he will be the most helpful prof you'll ever have. He lets you know exactly what he expects of you which is a huge plus. The work load is heavy, but worth it. If you try to keep up and aren't afraid to ask for help, the class is definitely not impossible.

Dr. Blazer is intimidating at first. Right away he lets you know what he expects of you for the class. But after you get past that he is the most helpful professor. He treats you like a friend not like a student that is below him. He will do anything to help you understand. If you are struggling but try hard he will take that into account.

By far my favorite professor at MU. He will teach you more than any other prof at MU and genuinely wants you to succeed. About half the poeple will drop his class, because they do not try. If you go to class, pay attention, and take good notes you will have no problem getting an A or B, and his door is always open during office hours to help!

GREATEST DEPARTMENT CHAIR EVER. I have probably had 50 contacts with hime in 3 months. HE HELPED ME GRADUATE A SEMESTER EARLY. E-mail is the best way to get ahold of him. He will do anything for you. He is busy and teaches in the graduate and undergratuate program. He works very hard and is very dedicated and serious about his job.GREAT PERSON

Lots of work - go to office hours - but he prepares you for the real world. As a professional now, I can tell you that all those Excel exercises in Managerial Finance are worth it - you'll look like a hero when your boss comes to you for help.

One of the best prof's at Millersville! Manages to make accounting interesting. Class is difficult but it prepares you for the real world and you actually learn something. You scratch his back and he will scratch yours! ha! Would take again anytime!

Eric Blazer is a rare sort of professor - He's realistic, honest, difficult - but not a jerk about any of it. He'll help you with anything, work with you when needed, but still expects a lot of effort. One of few professors I've come across that expects much, but has no interest in ruining your semester. Two thumbs up, this guy gets it.

Great professor. Expects a lot from students. Don't take him if you don't want to work, but the amount of knowledge you take from his class is huge.

Great Professor. Homework and tests are very demanding and require significant effort. I learned more in this class than all other finance classes combined. Makes excellent use of Excel and helps Financial Modeling skills.

25% Grade- Homework problems you can rework unti you get right and easy prequizzes with bonus opportunities. Tests are exactly the same as the practice tests with 10% curve. 3 tough papers. Obsessed with his job- very helpful. The class does take some time, but it is easy to get an A (he also drops your worst grade in 9 different assignments).

Dr. Blazer is very helpful anytime he is in his office. A very understanding professor. Extremely heavy workload. Be prepared to work on problems for hours but in the end you will learn something. He is truly interested in your success and will help in any way possible.

Great guy and very helpful but the course was the most difficult course I have ever had. Homework takes an hour per assignment. When he says you will need to spend 4-6 hours outside of class, he isn't kidding. The report is a killer but once you finish this course, you can accomplish anything. Do not take it unless you have to! -S-

Very demanding, but a great lecturer and an entertaining class. This guy can explain time value of money so you understand it forever. Come prepared and don't fall behind. I'm an accounting major & I take this prof every chance I get.

Great guy...he does want you to succeed but needs to see effort. So put the effort in with Dr. Blazer! You will learn a lot from him. He may screw up from time to time, but can't argue with a CPA and finance PhD.

Dr Blazer wants you to do well, but you need to do the work. Don't go to him with excuses about why you couldn't get things done. If you are putting in the effort he will go out of his way to make certain you understand.

Great professor.Lots of works and you will learn a lot.You need to read the textbook before coming to the class. His office hours will help you to master homework as well as the coming tests. His class is not an easy "A" class. However, you work hard, you will get your expected grade. Recommend to take his classes.

great prof.! really helps. he has a thing called "mastery points" which is work that is not mandatory, but i suggest doing them bc they really help, and they are worth more than other pts. class is entertaining. participate a lot. there is connect hw, which lets you check answers before submitting. excel assignments have vids to follow

Dr. Blazer is one of the most helpful professors I have had at MU. This class was an online class. It was very challenging, but very well structured. He was very quick at grading, answering questions, and clarifying the class expectations. If you are interested in really learning finance and getting ready for the CPA exam: TAKE THIS CLASS!!

The course itself is pretty hard & confusing but professor blazer made it easy to follow. He explains the material thoroughly. He is VERY helpful if you actually try. He gets back to all your emails real quick and is willing to help out inside & outside of class. HW & quiz every week. Alot of opportunity for points to pass. Recommended!!

Dr. Blazer is a stand up guy. The class was very challenging, but his point system will leave you with an A if you apply yourself and take advantage of it. He provides guided examples and if you ever have a problem you can email him and present your case. The book was pretty helpful.

Funny guy, sarcastic and will joke around with students. Knows his stuff and actually cares about you understanding; has a lot of versatile assignments in different mediums, online homework can be redone until the deadline, good grading system - keep up in class and enjoy! I looked forward to his class.

This professor is the man, and I have never met him in person. I took his managerial accounting winter class. He cares that you learn and understand the material. I took mana. acct. in the fall 2013 at another uni and the professor was horrible and therefore I needed to retake the course at millersville. I got a D first and now I have a B.

This was my first Winter Online class. Dr. Blazer did a great job teaching this class. The assignments are through Connect, Excel, and Articles. He has helpful videos for problems. If you are looking for an easy, yet beneficial class I highly recommend this. As long as you put the effort in you won't get below a C-. He is always there to help you.

Dr. Blazer is a great man. He assigns a lot of work and it is often difficult, but he will never deny you help. He has guided examples and responds to emails very promptly. The book was helpful at times, so if you can get it cheap I recommend it. He is funny and wise; a great professor that I am grateful to have had and now call a friend.

Dr Blazer's class is a challenging and rewarding experience. Don't take this class if you aren't willing to put you're all. He weeds out the weak. Any negative review is from people who couldn't take the heat. Take advantage of all the material he provides and you'll do fine.

Blazer's online finance class is great. He helps you whenever you have a question right away, and if you do all the work, you'll be fine. There's no excuse for not passing at least. Just do the work and put forth effort.

Uses a mastery points grading system so you can do well in the course without passing the exams. He is very helpful and will make you a video to show how you how to do a homework if you email him. Overall, Blazer is good professor. Accounting is hard but Blazer structures the course in a way that you will do well.

Blazer is a good professor and uses a mastery points system that allows you to do poorly on the tests and still do well; however, he favors accounting majors and even rounded up their grades at the end of the course but does not do the same for management and marketing majors.

Overall the class is challenging. He is willing to help you when needed and wants you to do well. Attendance is not mandatory but it definitely helps if you attend class. His tests are difficult if you are not in class or review before hand.

Great guy, tough class. He sounds mean at first but he's cool. Don't procrastinate. Do all the homework and quizes and you might not have to take the final. Course was hard but he explained everything really well. Do all the homework and quiz and you'll be fine. Don't buy hard textbook, you'll never use it if you do the "pre class" videos.

Blazer gives plenty of options to pass the class, so you can bomb tests (averages are 40%) and still walk away with a c or b. Always ready to help, just shoot him an email and hell make a personal video for you. He really wants everyone to succeed.

Dr. Blazer cares a lot about whether or not you succeed. If you need help, email him, he usually responds very quickly. If you can, take it online. The class is based off of mastery points, and if you do poorly on an exam, you can still pass his class. Do all of the work to get yourself as many points as you can.

Dr. Blazer comes off rather staunch but as the semester goes on he really does a lot for the students. He uses a system based off of 1000 possible points so every point matters. I did all homework, quizzes, and excel assignments and passed the course with a C while boasting a 52% exam average... submit assignments on time and you WILL pass.

If you take Blazer be prepared for a lot of work. But that's one thing I liked about him. You can fail a test, like bad, and still pass the class at the end of the semester with an A. He gives a lot of opportunities to get easy A's one homework and quizzes. His tests are hard but he gives you practice tests that help a lot.

Dr. Blazer as a professor is great. He is caring and really gives a plethora of material to learn from. As for this online class.... Extremely difficult and time consuming. He warns students ahead of time - listen to him!! Be prepared to spend 8+ hours a day on hw. This class is for the person who literally has nothing else to do in their life.

Hard class, with lots of work outside and in the classroom. 2 weekly homework assignments, as well as 1 weekly excel spreadsheet. He is hilarious, and gives you the grade you deserve, grading scale is homework heavy, so definitely do the homework. They are very time consuming but very worth doing. Awesome teacher, I love blazer.

Anyone who has the opportunity to have Blazer should consider themselves extremely fortunate. He is one of the best professors I have ever had and may ever have. He takes his job seriously, and expects you to take learning seriously. He is very fair and does a great job explaining tough concepts. He is available for questions and very smart - you will get what you give. He lets you do more work to raise your grade, so if you get 60s & 70s on everything but do it ALL you can still get an A. Very cool system

Prof Blazer is an amazing professor. I took buad 341 with him over the summer and it was a lot of work but worth it. He will always answer your emails and helps you with any problems during the semester. Expect to spend 8 hours a day on his class work.

Dr. Blazer is a great professor. Managerial Finance is a tough course that just requires organization. Stay on top of the content. Communication with Dr. Blazer is amazing and he seems to get back to you almost immediately no matter the time or day of the week. Take advantage of this. Dr. Blazer always welcomes you in his office for help.
