Teacher lectured the information clearly and understandably and even went above and beyond to help students study before class.

I really enjoyed this class. His directions are clear and easy to follow. Coach Coovert gives amazing lectures and he would do morning review sessions to help us get ready for the tests. He does a great job at making this class entertaining as well with the fun projects we did throughout the year. Highly recommend!

The thing I loved about Coach Covert was the fact that you could clearly see that he was passionate about history, so he was very knowledgable and it was rare to ask a question he didn't know the answer too.

Mr. Coovert or Coach Coovert has a very clear expectation about when things were due with frequent reminders and what is expected from assignments, projects, and tests. If you are confused about a topic, he is more than willing to explain it to you. Overall a great class with a great teacher with intriguing lectures over sometimes boring topics.

We often read books and discussed them in class as well as reading sections of the textbook. There were typically quizzes to go along with the reading. There were many opportunities to collaborate with classmates on fun projects. There was about 25 points of extra credit available each 9-weeks. Overall, I really enjoyed Coach Coovert's class.

Do your work on time, and the extra credit benefits will boost your grades up. There's quite a bit of reading involved, but space it out and you'll do fine. There's a lot of extra credit involved, and he's really nice about communication. He's also really funny, but be prepared to be made fun of. The class is great, so I recommend taking it.

We do lots and lots of reading, but he is amazing at telling history as a story and not just reading down a list of facts. You should take the class he's a really awesome teacher! :)

It's lecture heavy, but you'll do good, as long as you listen and study. It's not too difficult, just a lot of work. Great teacher, explains perfectly, don't be afraid to ask questions (he never answers rudely). Ask for samples of perfect grades for the tests, it'll help if you haven't taken an SAQ before. He's very optimistic and cheery.

AWESOME. I wish I could take any class with him again. Just the coolest. Super supportive! :D Has better segue ways than Spielberg.

Makes Lectures interesting, tons of extra credit opportunities, class is fun. I look forward to this class every day. Only downside is work load some weeks can be time consuming but the due dates are given a week or more out usually.
