Proffesor Fiazi is very intelligent, kind, and caring. He is very helpful and also a good listener. If you want to be challenged and want to be someone who you are not, take his class.

A great inspiring teacher that will push you to be a better person. Be ready to take his challenges, stetch yourself and think. He is a kind, compasionate, emotional, intellectual with a passion for the arts. I highly recommend him. A great teacher.

One of the most interesting classes I have ever taken. His class is not conventional but very helpful for those of you interested in psychology. The proffessor is also very nice, helpful and intelligent. He made this class a lot of fun. If you have difficulties or questions he is always there to help.

Thick accent but only those who are daydreaming won't be able to understand him. Doesnt cover everything in the textbook but no need to, subject is easy unless you're lazy. He teaches interesting stuff about life, etc. Easy grader though. Expected to get a B, but gave me an A.

he's a little off the rocking chair, but he's alright, you have to be argumentative, will paly devils advicate a lot, you never know what he is thinking and will play with your mind a lot, but you will learn from his lecture a lot, it's a therapy. i recomend him!;-)

Professor Fiazi is the best teacer in the world, not only he makes his class very interesting, but also very easy to make even the laziest and stupidest people pass. he is extremely intelligent and educated. He is also very respectful and polite. The tests are super easy, and he gives extra credit points for everything possible.

He's okay but his class wasn't really interesting to me. If you're normally a B average student or better, it should be easy. To pass, you have to read the book well. The reading shouldn't be that bad if you're interested in psych. Take notes when he says it will be on the test because he sometimes includes a few questions from lectures.

WOW! this man was one of the deepest. He really knew his stuff. Absolutely great. Such an intellectual its amazing. Explain things in ways you did not think possible. Take his class!

I think impossible to get 100%, but possible to get an A. Read the book. Attend every class, he will appreciate. At the end he can be a good influence with all his talking.

May be hard to understand bcuz of his accent, but overall a great experience. Dont think twice, take the class! It will change your life for the better! Tests are multiple choice, and he throws little jokes in. Extra Credit got my C to an A. so even if you do poorly, dont worry. Hearing his lectures was very itneresting! Take the class!!

This is a professor not for the faint hearted. You have to read, attend class, and know HOW to study. Not memorize, but actually learn the material. After his class was over, I truly feel as if I learned something. Not memorize, but learned because he forces you too.

Professor Fiazi is a great teacher. Take him if you are actually serious about your education. He lectures every session and gives few handouts. But if you're actually paying attention, you will pass this class easily. He's not a difficult grader at all. If you don't get it, that's on you. He's open to answering questions.

For his Psych 2 it is really important to read the material. It's a hard class- no sugarcoating. But Fiazi gives extra-credit and you can always ask questions. He is available to his students. He does have an accent, which can make it more difficult to understand him but he will reiterate and his english is fine if you are paying attention.

Super easy class if you are willing to open up and just do what the man asks of you. Have an open mind, and know that this will be like no class you have ever taken! even other Group Dynamics Classes! Plus, those of us who took his 43 seem to understand the material in psych 44 better the next semester. ;) just something to keep in mind.

GREAT PROFESSOR and fun class!! love his teaching method speaks to class head on SO TAKE LOTS OF NOTES!!! his lectures are fun and very educational. tests on lectures and readings (but assigns pgs not whole bk) he speaks eloquently (accent might be a little hard for some to understand) HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! If you are in a stage in your life where you are assesing what you are doing with your life and asking what is your life's direction, Professor Fiazi will provide you with the information you need to make those decisions. Bar none, one of the best professors in the community college circuit.

Give him a chance. Some students scared me about taking him. He is actually very good with some material. Do what he asks and ask questions.

Dr. Fiazi rocks my socks! He has read so many books. He is a thinker. He is a visionary. He continuously educates himself and he is not going to say, "I am always right." He has helped me to learn 'How to study effectively.' If it wasn't for him, I would be totally lost. Take him no matter what!

This is my observation. If you are smart, you will love him. If you are not, it's 50/50 whether you like him. Don't blame him. Learn to think!

He is GREAT teacher! If you don't understand all you have to do is ask. He gives extra credit he even gives extra credit if you do a study group! If you are not willing to do your part and study then no you will not pass and yes you will think he is a hard professor when he isn't. He is very funny and easy to understand. Greatest professor to me.

If you cannot keep up with him, don't blame him. If you can't speak his languagae, learn to speak his language.

Fiazi is awesome, his approach is completely unique, which is extremely rare for a community college professor. If you want to be challenged take psych 43 with him, but if you feel that psychological growth is some vague concept that should be reserved for clients and not counselors then avoid him like the plague because you will be found out.

While attending LACC, treat yourself to one of Fiazi's classes. He will lead you how to think critically, learn effectively and become creative. He sincerely cares for the students, and he loves psychology. He's also knowledgeable in math, science, physics, philosophy, music, art, etc, etc... Learn from him. He's amazing.

Fiazi is an acquired taste. If you want to get the most out of his class, work at it. Some students look up to him and some fear him. I kept a positive attitude and did well. You can, too.

This was my first class with him. I was very excited due to my psych 1 teacher telling me that he was part of the reason that she chose her field. He was AMAZING. I later co-facilitated this class with him.

Eric Fiazi is an utterly unique, existentialist educator. His Psych 43 class is a must for anyone considering a career in psychology. You will be challenged to think for yourself. Although psych 43 is not graded, psych 44 is, and if you apply yourself you will do well. Conscientious students do not fail his class and their lives are enriched.

Absolutely amazing! I am so happy I decided to take the class despite the rating. He bought a portable microphone to deal with the sound issue. He genuinely cares about his students education. Assigns very little homework, but a lot of extra credit. His tests are taken straight out of the book. Do the reading, and you will have no problem!

Fiazi is quite a character. I took group dynamic thinking I would read about didactics and communication forms. Nope, you sit in a circle and talk to the others and do exercises that Fiazi seem to come up with. It is very personal and challenging but also makes you grow personally. There were tears, laughter, frustrations. Show up or fail.

Taking Fiazi for 43 will not just fulfill a requirement. He will get you in touch with yourself. He really knows how to conduct a group and that is so important to our growth. I will always remember this deep experience.

Group dynamics was a space to emote, explore our feelings, & grow. Be emotionally vulnerable. The class is meant to be unorthodox & uncomfortable at times. You do exercises to tackle issues like indecisiveness & confidence. There were tears & laughs. The students got close. I'm an introvert and even I highly recommend. Pass/No pass class.

Fiazi profoundly changed my life. I'll be forever grateful.
