Professor Freidenreich is a good professor. He uses worksheets for all his lectures so your doing problems wall learning the chapter/section. There are only 4 test no quizzes and a Final. He really cares a lot about his students and wants to see them all pass his class. He gives extra credit when you do problems on the board.

DON'T TAKE HIS CLASSES. He was absolutely awful. I did pretty badly on the first test and when I went to him to ask for help, he told me verbatim that there was nothing he could do. On a rough draft of a project he marked me down for putting in parts that "didn't make sense" and on the final project he marked me down for leaving them out! STAY AWAY

One of the worst professors I have ever had. I emailed him with questions about his comments on one of my assignments, and his response was beyond rude and disrespectful. He told me I "should be happy with my grade as it was generous" and "I did not learn a topic we spent days studying". When I asked for help he only repeated himself. So unhelpful

The material itself is pretty simple but he spends WAY too much time going over it and it's pretty boring. If you're decent at math you have nothing to worry about, especially not in the beginning. He gives a very generous amount of extra credit at the start of the class and the tests are fairly simple.

nice prof. Lots of free points on tests though big help. It does not explain topics very well or clearly. HW is pointless, hard. Do it for the points. Still difficult to get 100. Goes very very slowly on every chapter. Never finishes on time, went over 20 mins of a 2 hr class. Take this class if you just want to be self-sufficient in your learning.

Great, caring professor. Takes an initiative to make sure whole class understands concepts. A little slow on chapters, gets boring if you get the chapter, but those who dont grasps concepts as fast, then right prof. for you then. Gives out MANY extra credit points on chapters test/quizzes. A full letter grade or 10 extra points, on multiple tests

If you're good at math, you'll get an easy A because his exam is super easy! Most of the problems on midterm are based on homework and question on the textbook- furthermore,he gives a piece of papers which include exact same question on exam before midterm. But, if you want to improve your math skill, it is absolutely not a good class.

Decent professor. I think that he cares about his students but he doesn't go easy in the slightest. The biggest problem I had was forgetting about the MyLab homework which was also not accepted late and really brought down my grade. That was annoying. Otherwise, pay attention, ask for help, REMEMBER THE MYLAB, get a Ti-84, and you'll probably ace

DO NOT TAKE HIM. You just watch him fill out a worksheet with 2-3 problems. He expects you to understand the section with 2-3 problems then assigns homework problems that he NEVER did on the worksheet. He does NOT CARE if you have technical difficulties, he will give you a 0. I basically had to teach myself trig all semester. Nightmare of a class.

I was surprised to see many negative reviews about this professor. I really enjoyed his online Trig Class. Boring, yes, (it's math) but everytime I asked a question during a lecture he explained everything to me and the way he explained the math made sense to me. Also, I would say he is kind of funny too LOL. The Homework is pretty easy too IMO

While Calculus is a very hard subject, I never dreaded attending Mr. Freidenreich's class. His lectures sometimes went by a bit slowly but he was always there to help his students and genuinely wanted everyone to succeed. Very friendly and funny to talk to and offers plenty of extra credit as well. If you are taking calculus I highly recommend him!

You take several exams throughout the semester, like about 4 or 5 ( 5th one is the final)and those exams are heaviest on your grade. He is always saying we are behind he is rather slow.for the most part he shows his steps clearly but it will take an eternity for him to finish. sometimes he gets off track like doing things the problem doesnt ask for

His class is mostly positive up until he hands assignments back. It seems he grades more on feel than the actual content and his grading is very unpredictable. He will make marks for a "mistake" on one test and not on another. The site to which we're assigned homework costs $90. Wouldn't recommend unless you're already comfortable with precalc

Seriously, disregard the bad reviews about online experiences. In person Mr. Fredenreich is amazing. He's a little quirky but super caring and endearing and wants everyone to succeed. He grades off of moods. His teaching style is jumping around the curriculum and taking 3 hours to just work out 2 problems, insanely boring and slow. You won't learn anything, Pre calc is an important stepping stone for other maths, you won't gain a strong learning from him. Also you have to pay for a program for homework/quizzes thats 100 dollars.

He's a quirky guy, sometimes he'll just yell really loudly or say something slightly weird, but I don't think he doesn't mean well. You do have to use webassign for his class which is ~$100, but his exams are pretty easy, the quizzes on webassign are much harder than the exams.
