He's awesomely cute...haha.. wierd.. At times.. well.. most..lol His work is some what hard.. but you get through it..
I just rated ease in the middle because I don't know yet (I am just starting with his class, but he is great thus far...and a cutie!) I was so relieved to have a cool, educated and helpful teacher because I was seriously dreading this class. He makes it interesting for me. Five snaps!

Took him his first semester teaching, very enthusiastic. You can tell he loves biology and wants to get you excited about it too.
I just withdrew because the tests were ambiguous and no matter how I studied, I couldn't pull it off. Very disappointed. No homework, extra credit, etc. to balance things out, either. I asked for an outline to help our studying for the exam, to no avail. It's a shame, because he is a very nice guy.
Eric is an amazing teacher. He always used great analogies to make things understandable. He totally cares about students, and wants them to do well and enjoy the class. I had him last semester, and his tests were not easy by any stretch, but they were fair... they only test what he covered in class. And he's super cute!
I was recommend by a friend to take him. He is a great guy. He writes everything you need to know on the chalkboard and at the same time has a picture of it on powerpoint. I study what he writes on the board and am doing good in his class. Its not an easy class. But if you go to class take notes and study the notes you should have no problem.
This was by no means an easy class, but I found Eric to be entertaining as well as extremely helpful, even to the point of extending his office hours for additional help. There are no opportunities for dropping tests or doing any extra credit work, so it is crucial you do well on the tests!
Eric is still fairly new and is developing his teaching style. All his note are written on the board and for the most part what will be on the test. I taped his class and found it most helpful for the his test. Eric is very helpfull with helping you understand difficult concepts.
He is awesome, teaches very well, very clear and he is very fair... I will totally take other biology classes from him again!!!
Eric is an Ok teacher the problem I had was he would lecture on a 4th grade level and then test on a graduate level. He hand wrote all his notes on the board which wasted time. All he did was outline the book. I can do that. He is very unprofessional and needs to act like a professor, take the topic seriously and portray it in a medical way
Eric is a really nice guy. He will do his best to help you understand. His lectures are all over the place, luckily you can print his notes from online. His tests however are not fun. He is tricky with his wording. I am an A student and was disappointed at my grade overall.
Although I received a C in Dr. Greens class. I would say he is an excellent, enthusiastic teacher who really cares.
Eric is a great teacher. You print an outline of his notes. Tests are based on lecture and his nots ONLY.
I TOOK HIS CLASS, AND I THINK IS USELESS, IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY BE AWAY FROM HIM, ALTHOUGHT HE IS FRIENDLY AND NICE, BUT NO GRADES OR LEARNING!!!!!
very good one who gives students hope.
Study your notes and go to class and you will know what's on the test. The tests are all multiple choice and right out of the notes. Make flash cards from the notes and you will do well. I would take other coursed from Eric.
good professor for anatomy
tests were not the easiest to comprehend, material was some obscure detail in the book. lecture was great he is nice and was clear in class-just not a fan of his testing process.
Eric demands you know your material for the tests. His questions will test several aspects of the topic, be prepared for this. Finally a professor that demands you to understand the material to pass the class and not just memorize notes!
Took his class for my 2nd time in Anatomy. Did very well! I like his style of teaching because his tests are exactly from the notes. Print the online notes and bring them to class, then make flashcards from them and you will do great. Study hard. Eric is willing to do all he can to get you the grade you want as long as you try! Got an A
I took both anatomy and physiology from him. I have a type A personality, his style worked well for me. I only picked up the book to better learn confusing concepts, his exams are STRAIGHT from the notes he provides. He never tries to trick you, but does have difficult exam questions. Missing classes always set me back. Very nice, easy to approach
I would recommend Eric to anyone. This is a hard class and you have to study. His tests are all off his notes you print out. He know Physiology well and you have to understand the concept not just memorize notes. Tests are hard, sometimes a little tricky but all in all he is a good teacher and I would recommend him to anyone.
Eric is a very good teacher and breaks things down to a level that is easy to understand. The majority of his test questions are from the notes, but he did throw in some questions from the lecture. Study hard, don't miss class, and print off all the notes before class. His final grades are curved, which is a good thing!
Waste of money and time.
hard text, I studed 6 to 8 hours a day. I know everything from his notes, but his text is comprehension almost all the question good luck,if you can change teacher he is just terrible .
HARD test you will lose time and money baby.
I thought Eric was a great teacher. He tested right out of his notes and did a great job of explaining things. I didn't open the book more than a handful of times because I felt his notes really covered the topics well! I got an A! I would totally suggest him!
Eric is very easy to learn from he will explain things in detail if you need him to. His tests are from his lecture notes and only his lecture notes so study those. He only has tests no homework so you need to study to get a good grade
Eric is a great professor. He lectures great, and has chapter outlines and is VERY HELPFUL. His tests are pretty hard, but fair. Its anatomy, it has to be hard. I would recommend reading the chapters like he recommends. It will make the difference between and A and a C.
Anatomy is a really hard class. Eric does his best to explain it so you can understand it. Tests are very fair but you have to take the time to study! He has very good and easy to follow lecture notes. I would high recommend him. Just don't miss any classes. It is worth your time to be there.
He was the most wonderful instructor I have ever had for this particular course. He tests off his lecture notes which are clear and concise. He offers extra credit which is very easy. This is a hard course but Eric will help you with anything you don't understand. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Green gives great notes. He tests directly from his notes. He takes his time in class to teach the material in an organized manner that makes it easier to grasp the concepts of physiology
He is very clear, funny, and smart. He tests right off the notes, so don't waste your time studying material not on his notes... Read the notes over and over, know what you are studying and the tests are really easy
If you study only his notes and know the inside and outs of his notes and attend class, his tests are easy. If you ask him a question he does his best to answer it. If you don't understand something he'll explain it in a different way. You won't need the book unless you are a visual person. He is a Great teacher!
Eric is a great teacher. He gives you very precise outlines on his website and if you study those, you will pass his tests. There is a lot of information to know, but he does a great job explaning everything and making it interesting. Excellent teacher!!
Very thorough, Professor Green is awesome. He teaches very clearly and to the point, ignore the ums. To anyone really interested in learning anatomy, he is the one. If you are only taking it because you have to, choose another one.
I can't say enough good things about Eric. He's a great teacher - he's fair and he's clear about what he expects of his students. These are hard classes, so anyone looking for an easy A won't find it with him, or anyone else. I uesd the book all the time, but every single question comes straight from his outline/lecture. Very happy with my A!
Eric is inCREDIBLE! By far, the best anatomy professor SLCC has. I took Human Anatomy for the third time, and I finally got the grade required for my major, if not more! I got a B+! Eric's tests are exclusively from his notes, so if you study those you should be in great shape! He also uses one figure from the text on the exam as well! Eric rocks!
Eric is a nice guy. He provides study guides but expects you to know EVERY single detail. If you have a life besides this class (kids, husband, work) you might want to find another professor. I studied his study guides & put in plenty enough time for a good grade but need to take it over! :(
I took Eric for Phys at the same time as Anat. I got A's in both classes but had to work my butt off. He is great at explaining everything you need to know, the rest is up to you. I never read the book; his outlines are great but you must know them inside and out or you will not pass. You cannot B.S. your way through his tests. Made me enjoy Phys!!
By far one of the best professors I have ever had. He explains things really good, his class is fun, and he is extremely funny. Way cool guy. I took his Human Biology class. I usually hate Biology, but he made it very enjoyable. Definately take this class. The only bad thing is that his tests can be a little tough. Depends on the person I guess.
He is great! He really breaks things down so you can really understand them. He is pretty funny to make things more interesting as well. I learned a lot from him! He tests off his outlines and other things added in class. You have to know them inside and out. i had a voice recorder which helped a lot. Highly recommended!!
This was the worst professor I have ever had.... I can't figure out why he got any reviews saying he was good. He isn't willing to work with you. His tests are on a graduate level and this is an introduction to physiology class. He is condescending and the WORST teacher. Save yourself time and money and take it from a different teacher. :(
He just reads off of power points straight from the book in class. Had to buy access code to do online homework that is useless and doesn't help your grade. HARD tests, average 67%, fell to 51%. The 'help' he tries to give outside of class is useless and he is obsessed with people cheating and not talking in class. WASTE of time and Money.
Eric made this class fun. He was very good at explaining things. His tests are mainly based on his powerpoints which he will upload onto the site. His tests weren't super easy but as long as you took notes and study his powerpoints, you'll be fine. He was really funny which made the class more fun.
Horrible teacher. I worked my butt of in that class for nothing. Do not take classes form eric.
Eric is not horrible. You just have to work to get your grade. Its not handed to you. This semester was awesome with online anatomy. So much easier to learn listening to the lectures at my pace.
Eric is a decent teacher, but I absolutely could not stand to sit through his lectures. He definitely knows his stuff, but he has a nervous tick of saying "um" or "uh" literally every 3rd or 4th word, sometimes multiple times in a row. I'm normally not bothered by filler words, it took everything in me not to tune him out. It was very frustrating.
He is a great teacher. Hard, but helpful. He provides everything you'll be tested on through his chapter outlines. Study those and your golden. It certainly doesn't hurt that he's entertaining.
He was a great help if you needed it! When he asks the class if we had any questions, he actually stops and waits unlike some other teachers. It was a great class probably because he was the one teaching it! Definitely recommended.
Eric is a way cool guy--He's respectful, professional, and he knows his stuff. He's very organized and straight forward. He's EXTREMELY helpful when it comes to helping other students. He responds quickly to emails too. His class isn't cake walk, but its definitely do-able.
Get this teacher. He presents the material in a way that is understandable, relates the material to other things to build on our schemas, explains things effectively & adds a bit of humor in to lighten the mood. He is very fair, not too easy or hard. You can get away with not buying the book, he has online lectures and some extra credit.
Had Eric for Human Anatomy. He goes over the concepts well...a little boring though. I took a morning class and sometimes couldn't keep my eyes open! Study the notes hard, that has most of what you need to know for the tests. But the tests are definitely a challenge. STUDY HARD.
Eric is great teacher, very helpfull.Took Anatomy and Physiology from him online.
I took his half online half lecture course and it was great. His test were not that hard. He does ramble on a lot on the lectures but overall I would recommend him!
Overall, I enjoyed Eric's class. I did not find his lectures to be that boring like other reviewers stated. I do think his tests are a bit nit picky. As a result, his test averages are low (65%). He does curve which makes it possible to do quite well. I think if he re-did his tests he would not have to curve and the class would be stronger.
Really borring teather. Not confident. His presentations are hard to get. Repeating same word many times in the row and you loosing thoughts while he thinks what to say next. Spending 5-6 hours a day will not get you ready for his tests. He pretends to be nice person but he is not that good. He is not Fair teacher.
I took physiology (half lecture/half online) He's very helpful and wants his students to do well. He has a casual style to teaching and is has the class very organized. He posts all of his outlines that go hand and hand with lectures. He's a great teacher and explains concepts very well. Tough class that requires alot of studying
Overall I enjoyed this class and am glad that I took it from Eric. He is very helpful and his lectures and videos aren't that bad. His tests are really hard but this class is passable if you study hard and watch his lectures.
I hardly went to a single class. He posts his powerpoints online, and if you read the textbook you'll pass every test easy. Assignments almost do themselves.
I took his hybrid class. The class is very difficult but I found his lectures and outlines to be very clear and helpful. I actually preferred to watch his videos at home on my own time. I made sure to review the outlines before every test and did fine. He's a great teacher, I would take another class from him.
This class is very difficult, and his outlines do not prepare you for his tests... The class average on his tests was 64%, choose another teacher.
No!! If you can still drop this class, do it now!! I took the hybrid class and felt that it was extremely unorganized. His test questions are more confusing than his lectures. His outlines do not prepare you for the test at all. Class average was always around 63% for exam. No very comforting when he says he has to fail a certain amount of students
Do not take a class from this professor, he is a nice individual however his tests are VERY hard and his lectures do not prepare you for them at all. Luckily he posts his lecture slides online and it makes it easy to study them. The main problem is that he crams waaayy too much information into one test making it impossible to adequately prepare.
Run from this teacher!!! When the class average is 63% you can tell how "good" he is...I study so hard almost 5 hours a day for nothing!!!
I took a hybrid (onlineclassroom) class with Eric and it was by far my most stressful class. His average test scores are in the 60's but he curves grades up at the end of the semester. You go the whole semester thinking your going to fail because of test scores and don't ever know how much he is going to curve at the end.
I hate Biology but Eric made it bearable. I got a C+ but only because I never studied for his tests and that is the majority of your grade. He has all of his slides up online which is where he gets the questions for his tests. Basically no homework so if you don't do well on the tests you wont do well in the class. Dont buy book, just online code.
Nice guy, rough teacher. The online homework's method of teaching is very different than Professor Green's. It seems like the class did not test well, even though we all sat through the lectures and did the homework. Speaking of tests, expect 6-8 different and unrelated chapters smashed into one test, and expected to retain the small details.
The grade in this class is 100% based on tests. The tests are on about 8-9 chapters of human physiology (not easy stuff) and tiny details making them EXTREMELY hard. Eric is super nice though... just expect to study a lot. I should have put more time in I guess. If there is another teacher that seems to have easier tests, choose them. He's hard.
Be ready to study.
It's a tough class and the lectures are pretty long and dry. Sure seems like there should be a lot better way to make it interesting, instead of just... lecture, lecture, lecture. Tests are OK if you can memorize a ton of stuff. If you can't memorize stuff, you can't pass the tests.
Your grade is based on 4 tests, the most recent ( not final) covered 400 pages of material. His questions are worded differently than his lecture notes so it's hard to know what to study. It can be hard to listen to his lectures due to lengthy confusing metaphors. I am retaking from a different instructor.
Part online class. HARD tests. Biggest complaint is that he only graded on tests (80% of grade/lab 20%). He only had 3 tests all sem., each one covering abt 8 chapters. Too many chapters to study for. Also he often ran out of time to lecture & asked us to watch the rest online. Also, we had no idea what our grade was all sem. Do not take from him!
At first I was terrified taking this class because of the ratings on him. He is amazing! He tests exactly from lectures. His videos are very clear and straightforward. It is fast paced, so prepare to commit and study. Use text book to solidify concepts, use study guide daily for memory and recall key points.
I honestly loved this class. It's college people, you have to work for a good grade, he is way easier IMHO than most professors for this subject. Just memorize his notes and listen to all of his lectures and you can pass easily. Yes it's hard work, but it's an important class so don't complain. He's very nice, and so funny because he is odd.
I'm currently taking both anatomy and physiology with Eric and he is my absolute favorite teacher!!! He doesn't just read off of power points, and you can tell he really cares about what he's teaching! He wants all of his students to pass, but he also gives some pretty tough tests. I recommend his hybrid online classes! I have an A in both classes!
I took Hybrid class, he is great, I loved his lectures in class and online. He has some study guides for each chapter and you are test mostly from those. He is not a hard grader, exams are easy if you study well. I spend at least 10 hours per week studying for this class. He gives you a lot of extra points. Physiology is hard just make the time.
i am an A student and I never got above a 70% on his tests. I hated his class. I've had better biology teachers
LOVED Dr. Green! Anat is a tough subject. Not only did he teach on a level that was easy to follow, but he always gives good tricks & tips on how to remember all the content. Dr. Green is easy going & engaging. Plus his online/hybrid classroom was perfect for me! I loved that I could watch lectures over and over. You won't go wrong with Dr. Green.
I LOVE ERIC!!!!!! I took both his anatomy and physiology course at the same time and it was awesome!! I recommend taking both his hybrid courses at the same time! He's been my favorite professor at SLCC so far and he really cares about this students! He makes you work for the A, but if you're willing to put in the time, it's easily doable
Eric Green is a great teacher. He really cares about his students and wants them all to succeed. Honestly, if you just memorize his notes you'll easily get an A. I got 100% on all of his midterms that way. Also, show up for lecture they are entertaining and will help you understand what you're learning.
Eric a fantastic teacher!!! For physiology he records and posts all his lectures online and he lectures along an outline which makes studying/note taking/reviewing a BREEZE. He does his best to rephrase things that are complicated to understand or when you have a question and he doesn't go too fast during his lectures and forgets the unnecessary.
Eric is an amazing teacher! I took both his anatomy and physiology class from him!!! He is fantastic in his lectures and online videos. If I was ever confused about subject material, Eric was always gracious with his time and helped explain any concepts that I was confused about. Love his study outlines! These classes are awesome! LOVE Eric!!!
Green's phys class has 3 or 4 exams, one final, a few quizzes, and some x-cred. This gives you only so many chances to know your sh*t. His lectures are interesting but kind of slow to me. He's willing to work with you or the class on some things like not getting to a chapter in time, etc. He will drop the chapter if needs be.
Eric is extremely nice and approachable. He knows that Human Anatomy can be a difficult subject so he helps in any way he can. BUT, he says that he wont put answers to trip you up but he does. His exams are more difficult because of his phrasing - But they are multiple choice. He offers extra credit though!
I loved Mr. Green I took him for Physiology for Fall 2017 semester, and he was great. He gives study guides that have exactly what he will test you on., so no guesswork. If class average is low he'll raise everyone's grade! LOVED the flexibility of his Hybrid class it was AMAZING! Overall great guy very nice, and knows his stuff!
Eric is a great professor who really cares about helping his students learn and pass this class. Anatomy is difficult so you have to study, but he gives you every opportunity to do well. His tests and requirements are clear, no trick questions. Would definitely take a course from him again!
Eric is an amazing instructor! He genuinely cares about student success. He responds quickly to emails & encourages students to talk to him before/after class and during his office hours. This class isn't easy but your hard work will pay off in Eric's class. Memorize Eric's study guides for midterms & you'll be fine.
Eric made anatomy as easy as I could imagine. If you want to be challenged, choose another prof. But he's a great guy and wants you to be successful.
Very animated, which helps so much with the material sticking. I wish he was available in the summer for physiology as well.
Memorization is key to passing this class. Abt 6-8 chap an exam, if you can memorize well, u will do well in ur exams, if not, youre gonna struggle. Grades off of ur exams and final. Not a bad professor overall. I just dont like how much material to memorize for physiology. Lectures are boring.
I loved Phys with Green. He is super nice & always willing to clear up any confusion. He gives you all the information you will need for the tests in chapter outlines. As long as you can memorize & understand those outlines front to back, you'll do amazing. If you can't memorize his outlines, you may struggle. Prepare to spend lots of time studying
Passing this class boils down to memorizing Latin names for stuff. There's almost nothing else in the class. Lectures are slow, long, and soul-killing. If you can memorize something like 100-200 new words a week, you'll fly through. Otherwise, it's gonna suck.
He was okay, his tests are pretty tricky if you don't study. I also don't feel like the outlines were always relevant to the question on the test. He is willing to answer questions during the test to clarify though. Taking anatomy is hard, but taking a hybrid course is even harder. Prepare to put in 20+ hrs a week studying. Gave good lectures!!
The purpose of his study guides are NOT to memorize! If you do, you will have a hard time passing this class. Test Questions are not that hard if you understood the nature of the FUNCTION. Yes he does tests based on his study guides but it's about WHY it happened. Study guide is just to help you guide you with what you should UNDERSTAND. Great guy!
From what I heard from other students, Eric teaches this course a little differently compared to other professors. He was a little ahead throughout the semester but overall I loved taking it from Eric. The hybrid class was nice because if you miss a day, you can always go online and watch his lectures. His study guides were very helpful.
I really liked his class he made everything VERY clear, sometimes got a little repetitive. On top of grading and really cares about each student.
I had to take this class twice. I took it from Dr. Green both times and the second time was a breeze. He's a great professor and provides you with all of the tools you could possibly need. All of his lectures are on canvas so you can go back a listen to them whenever! Anatomy is just hard but so worth learning!
Eric is a great professor, anatomy is really tough but his recorded lectures are super nice to go back and watch if needed. One of my favorite professors at slcc. I had to study a lot, I think the trick is to not let the lab take over all your time for studying
The best science teacher and hybrid teacher I have EVER had! He posts audio/visual lectures as well as study guides for each chapter. If you can learn the materials on the study guides you will do well on the tests. He is the type of professor that wants you to succeed! I would recommend him 100%! I wish I would've taken physiology from him as well
Eric is absolutly amazing! He knows Anantomy is a tough subject and there is a lot to learn in the time we have, but is is always willing to help you and more then happy to make things more clear. His study guides and online lectures were so easy to follow. It was nice having the lectures online to go back and rewatch for the tests.
Eric Green is caring and so helpful. He wants his students to succeed and his outlines speak for themselves. You have to put in the effort, and spend a great deal of time outside of class studying the outlines/textbook but he met with me multiple times to go over studying techniques! Great professor and highly recommend.
Professor Green is top notch, I had some issues that made the class a bit hard for me, but he did all he could to help me succeed. He cares . about his students. You will have to work hard for the grade you want, but college is just hard. Don't even take Phys from anyone else, take Eric. You won't find a better physiology professor at SLCC.
I highly recommend Dr. Green. Anatomy is hard... so you really have to put a lot of effort into it. He makes it easier in that he tells you exactly what he wants you to know. He study guides are super helpful and it organizes the information in a way that makes it easier to understand. I watched the lecture videos multiple times.
Take anatomy from Eric Green! I got an A in anatomy. Took his hybrid class (on-line/in person). All his lectures are posted so you don't really need to attend class but I did. Super nice guy, approachable, gives study guides so you have the detail level you need to know. I made tests for myself based on his study guides and got an A on each exam.
I loved Eric's anatomy class, but I would not recommend him for this class. His questions are very specific on the exams and he is not very clear on what he will be testing on.
Eric is a great teacher, funny guy too. His test material is on his study guides and you can create your own stuff. He tries to follow the lab which is nice, and does not cover every chapter either (or does quizzes online). For his tests know details about numbers (ie #of bones etc) as he loves those (pointless to me) facts.
Professor Green is a great one to take Anatomy from. You have to put in the effort, and you have to be able to memorize, but that is anatomy. You will work very hard to get a good grade, but Green is very clear and only teaches to what he tests on. Do not let lab take over your study time, and read test questions carefully. He was very fair.
I've taken anatomy & physiology from Professor Green and wasn't disappointed. He is very passionate & knowledgeable about what he teaches! The class was comprised of 4 tests (w/ final), quizzes, and extra credit was offered as well. I was able to succeed in both classes by studying his guides and making sure I understood the concepts well.
I've taken both anatomy and physiology with Eric and I would highly recommend him to anyone! He is one of the few professors I've had that I feel like genuinely cares about his students and wants to help however he can. Your grade is made up of only quizzes and tests so lots of studying is required but I feel like it is doable.
Eric Green is a good professor but I don't recommend taking physiology from him. His exams is super hard and tricky. He doesn't have that much of assignments that can help get your grade up so mostly you will be graded based of what you will get in each test. He have 3 midterms and final.
Dont take him, grades on what you get on the tests, three midterms and final. not personable, does not really care for the students :( wont reply to emails ontime( five days or later). tests are so tricky. I regret taking his class.
Anatomy is the hardest class I've taken, but extremely applicable. Professor Green dumbs down each chapter to where it makes sense. Lab is definitely more challenging, but the focus needs to be on lecture more. He tests on the study guides which is really helpful. Ask all the questions, show up as often as you can and you'll pass.
Professor Green helped me understand the Anatomy above and beyond. He teaches Anatomy by adding Physiological knowledge, which it helped me understand and memorize so much better. You definitely will need to read and study this study guide he provides you in class in order to get a good grade.
He seems so sweet and caring, but holy mother, I CANNOT pay attention to his lectures. Like, I love this stuff, and can't pay attention! Monotone, doesn't use any tactics to keep your attention. Basically just reads the powerpoints. Sad, as I was really excited for this class.
Eric is a nice guy. He's a bit soft spoken but very friendly and cares. Anatomy is a very hard class so if you don't study or study too much it's very hard to pass. The only homework were some quizzes on canvas but you can take them as many times as you need until you pass. Other than that it's only exams.
I havent even finished this semester but i have loved taking him because his class is so easy to follow! He doesnt try to trick you and his lectures are easy to follow! Physiology is a hard class but he makes it simple and easy! Highly recommend!!
Dr. Green is seriously the best! He is very clear and organized with the material he is teaching. Posted lecture videos with a study guide to go along with it so I almost never had to take notes! He's really nice and you can tell that he cares about you actually learning something and willing to spend extra time to help students learn the material.
I recommend taking Eric. He is a great teacher and he did a great job teaching the material. As long as you read the chapters and study the material it's easy to get a good grade.
Dr Green is such A sweet teacher. He does want you to do well. However I had him in the summer and we were only online. He was sick and not able to lecture many of our classes and we basically had to self teach. Forget watching his videos as they are hard to stay awake. If he added some fun ways to lean phys the class could be really great!
This class was fully online. There was no teacher interactions at all. I had previously taken his anatomy class where it was zoom lectures, but this one was not like that. It was extremely difficult as there were very little assignments so your tests are the majority of your grade. It's 50 questions typically but only 60 minutes so it's hard.
Do not take Eric Green. Your grade is based on only 4 exams - and they are very detailed and cover an insane amount of information. His lecture schedule was so far ahead of the lab, so his first two exams were tested on information that we hadn't even seen in lab. There are other professors who make anatomy bearable. (btw I am a 4.0 student)
Listen. I've taken Anatomy more than once, w/ multiple diff. teachers, & Eric was by far the most laid back teacher I've had. He cares & DOES want you to succeed. My only complaint was no study guides given for the exams. He wants you to KNOW the material, not memorize it, but the exams were always MC with one essay question. The final was all MC.
Dr. Green is a good professor, he really knows anatomy. In lecture we were way ahead of our lab class, which wasn't beneficial - tested on things we've never seen in person in the lab. Grade is based on 4 exams which are very in depth (including final) + 4-5 quizzes (basically no HW), if you do poorly on exams, it is hard to recover from that.
Green is very sweet, his lectures put me to sleep, I wish they were recorded so you can go back and watch. if you don't attend the online lecture you will miss alot. Testing is difficult because he does put tricky questions. READ CAREFULLY. He got a little...odd talking about the female reproductive system as well. Great Instructor though.
Dr. Green wants his students to succeed. Multiple times he would state he wasn't going to add trick questions to the exams because anatomy is hard enough. I took this class via live zoom classes. I enjoyed his lectures, he used stories that helped me to remember certain processes. You'll need to put in the work, but he's awesome!
I thought he was great. Test questions come directly from lecture notes so if you watch the videos and study the notes you will be fine. He also gives a lot of extra credit. Videos were a little boring but he explains things well so you can understand. Seems like he actually wants you to succeed. Really enjoyed this class.
I had professor Green For both Anatomy and Physiology and I really enjoyed both classes. You definitely need to take good notes for physiology since you'll be graded heavily on the lectures. In Anatomy, you will be tested off the study guides. He doesn't try and trick you which I really appreciated. He explains things well and clearly.
Man, where do I begin. 72% of your grade is based off of Midterms 1, 2, and 3, as well as the Final Exam. If you cannot test well, do not take his class. His lectures and "Study Guides" do not reinforce knowledge or provide helpful information for his tests. I would suggest literally any other professor, I'm sure they will do better than this guy.
Dr. Green is awesome! You can tell he has a passion for teaching and truly cares about his students.
Dr. Green is hard. Majority of his points resided on tests. Physiology is hard as is and no matter who you take it it'll be hard. I understand why there weren't any assignments because physiology is understanding the chemical pathways of homeostasis with every organ system. Video lectures were easy to understand. Study guides were formatted well.
He has been so kind to work with and REALLY cares about his students. His communication was impeccable and very encouraging!! 2420 can be challenging but JUST PUT THE WORK INTO IT. He makes it easier with his study guide, most tests questions are in line with it. I loved this professor and would definitely take this online class from him again.
Grades are all about how well you do on the test. On the exams, there are no notes allowed and no reviews or tips before any exam. There are no drops in lower scores, only one extra credit quiz and he may give the class extra points if the class average is low. The class average is 64 on exams which explains how tough this course is.
Professor Green was great he genuinely cares about your success in this class. The tests are hard, so you do need to study well for them. There are chapter outlines that are helpful for tests. He will add points if the test average is low. The only reason I would not take him again is because this class was online, and I learn better in person.
He is so kind and encouraging. After exam one I almost thought to drop this class but he encouraged me to keep going and I really improved my score in rest of the exams. Exams are hard but he adds a lot of extra points after each exam if the class average is low which shows he really wants you to study but also wants you to pass this class.
i loved Professor Green, Ive taken anatomy here with other people and no one was as clear as him and i think he's very organized. not a lot of homework, but he is very straightforward about what he will test. he actually lectures instead of just making you do everything on your own. he also gives extracredit if you come to class, exams are in class
Professor Green is aight. No hw, only 5 discussions, 4 exams and 20 quizzes. This class is very exam based, lecture is pre recorded vids with written notes done beforehand which are helpful for doing the quizzes. Open book quizzes. There is no study guide for exams, yolo it basically.
HARDEST class I have ever taken, besides O Chem. Grades are dependent on the exams. Unfortunately the withdrawal deadline falls after the 2nd exam, so you don't have enough time to figure out if you can handle the class or not. Test questions are HARD, and deal with understanding, not memorizing, or things he mentions for about 1 min in lecture
Prof Green is very passionate about physiology, he is test heavy where it is mainly the only assignments and what you are graded on. He does a lot of "self study" sections which is frustrating sometimes and difficult already being online. Not a lot of extra credit-doesn't do much anyways, is available to message and help you out with any questions.
Great Anatomy and physiology instructor.
Seems to care but should not be teaching. He has hardly any assignments where you can apply what you learned. Class average for exams was under 70% every time but would not curve because one student would get 100%. Has a lot of self study sections so he obviously does not want to put in the work. Would not take any courses from him again.
Physiology is a tough class but he makes it easier by providing study guides which all test questions come from. Tests are multiple choice with a few short answer questions. 5 discussions, open book quizzes for each chapter, 3 midterms and a final. Lots of lecture material to watch but he explains things clearly and is passionate about the subject.
Tests and grading criteria are very clear and fair, 3 multiple choice midterms and a final. All test questions come from the study guides he shares. All material and lectures posted online and neatly organized. Lots of info to learn, but if you attend/watch lecture and study guides, you will do well. He is very responsive to answer questions.
His class was online for physiology. He had prerecorded lectures and a linked textbook. He give a 'study guide' for every chapter but it didn't ever really prepare me for the tests. His exams are worded to trick you and his final is comprehensive whereas almost every other class wasn't. It's a hard class.
Best professor for physiology, dont let the online part scare you, study off study guides and look for understanding through lectures, you'll be fine. Eric is Understanding and kind. Better than other phys teachers, no essays, no tricky questions or wording. He makes it look easy. got an A while taking anatomy (12credit semester) and full time job.
I took green for a hybrid-anatomy lecture. He is very caring and fair. I would recommend engaging in his in person lectures to make them more interesting. Use the lecture outlines and rewatch the videos for the exams and you'll be good. Only thing is he takes a while to grade things.
Mr. Green was one of the best instructors I've ever had as a student. Class was organized perfectly. I would most defiantly take Mr. Green's class again. Read the textbook.
Dr Green is incredibly kind and compassionate. He was considerate enough to add points to exams because he knows physiology is a very tough subject. With that said some information on the exams during the summer semester included information he intentionally said wouldn't be on exams 2 and the final. This was my first B, ever.
Dr. Green was an amazing professor for anatomy. His lectures were fun to listen to and it was taught in a way where the material just made sense. Class is 4 exams and 25% of lab for overall grade. Anatomy is hard and requires a lot of time to study no matter who is teaching. But with him as a professor I think you will do good.
Professor Green's physiology class is challenging, but manageable with the right study approach. Lean on the video lectures and study guides, and try using Unstuck study for supplementary practice - it really helped me prepare for the exams.
This guy is cool af. Anatomy is a difficult class but with the way he taught, you could just tell that he knows what he's talking about. He made it interesting to learn and actually understand the connections between concepts. Highly recommend him, he is really smart and a great teacher and communicator.
Professor Green is awesome!! the class is easy to navigate and very well organized + he sends reminders every week. He offers extra credit on the final. There's a bit of homework and discussions but they're not bad at all. Def take physiology with him!!
Eric Green is a really nice person but his class was HARD. He was the most difficult professor to understand than any teacher I've ever had. He lectures for the hour and twenty minutes and nothing sticks. He gives out notes but they are impossible to memorize. I retook the class with a different professor and it was immediately much easier.
Dr. Green is one of the best professors I have ever met. He is kind, understanding, and willing to work with you. Anatomy is not easy but his understanding of life circumstances and allowing extensions helped me stay motivated.
Dr. Green puts all lecture information from each chapter into these very comprehensive outlines. If you know those really well, you can totally get an A. He also notes what information is optional to know, so you're not studying anything he won't be testing on. He offered a good amount of extra credit and is just a really nice dude.
I've taken Anatomy and Physiology with Eric, and he's great! You're only graded on quizzes for every chapter, 3 midterms, and a comprehensive final. He does ramble a bit in his lectures, but other than that, no complaints. He does add adjustment points to bring up the class average, the subject IS HARD averages were pretty low for all exams.
