Really nice guy. Gives an online quiz every week to see understanding done online at home. Homeworks due once a week.
I don't like how he teaches b/c he rushes through content and there's a lot of it. I also don't like the format of this class because he gives a midterm and a final and doesn't provide a study guide. He basically expects you to know everything for the exams. He does give online quizzes & HW assignments each week, which are grade boosters.
Poor teacher. IF YOU HAVE NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF ANATOMY, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. He does 20 minutes of lecture per class, 15 minutes of break, and the rest of the class is used for a "case study" that is useless. Exams count for 40%. It is easy to bring your grade up with the quizzes and homework. Only gives a midterm and a final.
Dr. Greska is always available to help if you are confused as you can email him and he replies quickly. He gives homework and quizzes taken at home (w occasional extra credit) to help balance studying to ensure that you study throughout the year. Lectures include a break to help remember info. Only in class exams are midterm/final. Take this class!
There are weekly online quizzes, weekly homework, a midterm, and a final. It is a lot of outside of class work but Greska is a really good teacher and gives you opportunities to do well. He posts a lot of things to help you study.
Dr Greska is a great guy. Yes, A&P is hard. It's bloody meant to be! You just have to put in a lot of effort outside of class, and u will only do this if you're passionate about it. Section quizzes are hard so double down on your weekly studies and keep up with the outlines he posts on Canvas. They'll help you understand everything expected of you
Dr. Greska is a super nice guy and really knows what he is talking about. The class is a lot of work, but that's to be expected with anatomy. I ended with a 100, so getting an A is definitely doable as long as you put in the work outside of class.
Be prepared for an online quiz every weekend. Extremely heavy on lectures. Homework is easy and gives you a chance to raise your grade. Only tests are the midterm and final (cumulative)
Dr. Greska is an amazing professor- but some may consider his class difficult because of the amount of material he has to cover. He is very knowledgeable in his field and can answer all your questions. He is very willing to help students succeed. There is a lot of homework, but it definitely helped me learn the material.
Awesome class! Couple of exams, a quiz per chapter, and a final. The exams automatically have 5 extra credit points built in! Read the textbook and go to class for clicker questions. He also regularly gives a Kahoot that has some questions that will be on the exam. Overall he is a great Anatomy professor!! Right now I have over 100% in the class.
A&P is a lot of material and requires a lot of work to be done at home like homeworks, quizzes, and readings. These are a grade booster as you will not succeed on his exams without proper prep and studying. Greska is a great professor who really cares about the success of his students and always worked with us to make sure that the class was fair
I love Dr. Greska and I would definitely take him over any other professor but he is very hard, and you have to study well in advance for his exams.
I took Greska for KAAP 220 and KAAP 221 and i loved his class. The online homeworks are a good grade booster and come right from the book. He also posts chapter outlines on canvas that act as a study guide. Extra credit is built into his exams, allowing you to score up to 65/60. As long as you put the time into his class, you will do well.
Dr. Greska's class is great. For KAAP 221, we had 5 exams, which have built in extra credit throughout the semester, as well as a final. If you did well throughout the class, you did not have to take the final, as it would not affect your overall grade. In addition, Dr. Greska is available outside of class, making it easy to do well in the class.
This class was definitely extremely hard, but for an anatomy professor, Greska does everything he can to make sure students succeed. He offers a lot of quizzes and practice tests to prepare for exams and many of the questions are repeated on exams. He even offers extra credit at the end of the semester.
Dr. Greska wants his students to be successful. He is VERY educated on the material. The quizzes are important to focus on when studying and reading the text book is very helpful. A TON of hours and work will be put into the class but it will pay off. The exams are straight forward + 5 extra credit points built in. Do the work expected!!!
he is a great teacher
While attending class isn't mandatory, his lectures are AMAZING. He talks very fast, but gets through all the material He is very familiar with what he's teaching and is always willing to explain it again to make sure students understand. While there is alot of work, he cares about his students and want them to SUCCEED.
do WHATEVER it takes to get into this mans class! He is so great at explaining things, gives extra credit on exams, organized, hilarious. Anatomy is hard, but he gives you great homework and quiz tools to learn the info(take quizzes as many times until 100%). You'll feel so smart after taking this class! I recommend reading chapter before lecture!
Get into his class even if it is an 8am! He gives you every tool possible to succeed and actually shows genuine interest in anatomy. All his grading is clear and it is very possible to do extremely well if you put in the time.
Greska is such a good professor, I genuinely took this class at 8am just to have him. Anatomy 2 is made of one test a week that is about 30 points, and has built in extra credit. Also, some of his homework quizzes have built in extra credit. If you have to take anatomy, take it with Greska.
I woke up at 7:00am to make sure I got Greska for again for A&P2. He is such a great teacher and supports his students so much. He uses speed lectures followed by a kahoot or quiz game to see how we retained information. I struggled a lot with anatomy in high school, but it was pretty easy thanks to Greska. 10/10 would reccomend
Greska was by far my favorite/best professor I've had at school so far. I really struggled with anatomy first semester yet second semester with him was much better. His lectures are actually clear and interesting and make the material so much easier to retain. He's straightfoward, so nice + funny & if do what he says/put the work in youll be fine!
Dr. Greska was the best! Such a nice guy and was very knowledgable. I wish I had him for A&P I as well!
Dr. Greska is intelligent and willing to help everybody succeed. This course requires a lot of memorization, so if you take the time to do it outside of class, you will do well. Dr. Greska is passionate about what he teaches, and his "lightning lectures" were super helpful. Would definitely take him again!
Dr. Greska is one of the most caring professors I have ever had. Anatomy and Physiology can be difficult due to the amount of content to get through, but he tries his hardest to help his students succeed. This class is currently asynchronous but I still understand the material he provides. His homework assignments are pretty easy and very helpful.
The topic is difficult, but he tries so hard to make his students understand the material. He gives study guides, thorough lectures, and supplemental materials for students to access. Super easy to contact outside of class. Even hosted synch study sessions despite being asynch, and is willing to do so much to help students succeed. Loved him.
Absolutely the best, very accessible by email, and scheduled multiple zoom office hours appointments with him. Willing to help in any way possible and would even record videos of concepts that are unclear. 4 practicals (timed-short), 4 exams, and 12 quizzes. Put in the effort, you'll do great, it is difficult. Watch all lectures. STUDY!!!!!
Asynchronous class, Greska is very nice and genuinely cares about his students. If you choose to take the notes, get ready to write for hours- lots of little assignments and timed quizzes but unlimited attempts usually. Exams aren't too difficult and not proctored
This course was asynchronous so he never had lectures. I basically taught myself everything just by reading the book and doing homework assignments. From what I can tell, Greska is very caring and incredibly smart. You have up until the exam to complete all of the hw for that exam, which is good for the procrastinators. Tests were manageable.
Awesome professor! Very willing to help students. Interesting lectures and assignments made mastery of material almost easy ... it is A&P after all, so it's definitely a lot of work still, but completely reasonable. Exams were fair and to the point. Fair grader and flexible. Highly recommend taking class with Dr. Greska. The best of the best!
Greska is such a nice professor. He truly wants his students to succeed! Quizzes and homework can be taken multiple times until you get 100%. Even though this was an online course, Greska made a few synchronous classes to review material for exams. He gets back to emails very quickly. Course is a lot of memorizing, but Greska helps. Exams are fair.
A&P is tough regardless but the reading are more detailed than the exams . very fair with the amount of material you must have memorized. He is good with emails. Has good lectures, which is why I wish the format of this class was synchronous. He did have review zooms to help. Many opportunities to boost grade. Nice guy, couldn't ask for much more.
I had Greska for A&P1 and now A&P2, he is the best professor I have ever had! Makes anatomy so interesting and fun. As long as you complete assignments, youll pass the class. Always accessible outside of class, so reach out if you have questions because hes very helpful and caring.
I had this class asynchronously during covid and it was ridiculously hard. I spent 30 hours a week reading the textbook and taking notes and the lectures were just extremely brief summaries and left out everything we needed to know for exams so you have to read. SO much info in such a small amount of time. Content was interesting but not worth it
I love Greska! He wants everyone to succeed. He allows as many attempts for quizzes and homework up until the due date. He always gives extra credit by rescoring every exam after completion. He also provides videos from youtube and other websites to go even more in depth with the information.
This is a tough course, but if you have to take it you want Greska. He allows as many attempts necessary on homework and quizzes because he wants his students to learn the material. Our class was asynchronous which benefited the students by allowing them to complete the course on their own time, but met once a week to tie in the material.
Really wants his students to do well. All quizzes and assignments taken as many times as needed to get the grade you want w/ no penalty. Classes are optional, but the ones I have attended were good. Gives game to help study for exams and many other resources. Planned whole schedule around having his as my AP2 prof.
Greska is an amazing professor who really wants you to succeed in his class. Anatomy and Physiology is a hard class, but he makes it easier to understand. He is always available to help you whenever you need. Cannot recommend Greska enough.
This class was super easy as long as you read the textbook and take the notes. There is a lot of reading and material, but it isn't difficult. Professor Greska actually cares about his students and is willing to do whatever he can to help you understand the material and pass the class.
I go to work full time and emailed Dr. Greska for a one time extension on a quiz. He responded with how irresponsible it was of me to not schedule my whole life around his class. : )
Professor Greska was a really nice professor and gave a lot of resources for tests. There area lot of quizzes and homework assignments but you are allowed unlimited attempts. There is a lot of textbooks readings, but he provides an online textbook for you for free! You can really tell he has his students best interest at heart.
Prof. Greska is awesome. Mostly everything is online, so you don't really have anything in person. Everything is due at the end of the semester besides exams, so you can do it all at your own pace. He posts all of his lectures on Canvas and every homework or quiz assignment can be redone as many times as you want to get a 100.
great guy, super helpful and approachable. wants his students to succeed and learn the material, take his classes if you can
If I could give him a 6/5 I would. Dr. Greska is one of the downright best instructors I have ever had. He is very knowledgable on the topics he teaches, he sees his students as people, and most importantly he is understanding. Communicate with him and he will try to help as best he can. If you are able to, take his class, even if it's an 8am.
so amazing! i dont even go here but i specifically wanted to take anatomy with him to transfer to my university. the best there is honestly!
I am so thankful I had this man for anatomy. He truly cares for his students and will do anything to make sure we succeed in his class. There are a lot of assignments given in this class, but they are fairly quick and are good grade boosters. I liked this professor so much that I chose to have him again for my second semester of anatomy.
I absolutely loved Dr. Greska! There was a lot of reading, but if you stayed on track, it was very manageable. The quizzes were reflective of the reading. If you are ever overwhelmed, he is very helpful with moving due dates and helping to conquer the workload.
Class wasn't mandatory. Test, homework, and quizzes were online. Homework and reading were helpful to understand the work. Highly recommended. There is a good amount of reading, but it is very very helpful for the test and quizzes if you do read.
Dr Greska cares a lot about his students, he treats his students like people and is very understanding when things happen. Technology is a big component of his class, so if you learn better in another way I would plan accordingly. This is my second time taking Dr Greska and I am registered for his class again in the fall. Definitely recommend him.
He is a great professor, with lots of very small quizzes based on the readings he provides but very easy to get a good score on. Big quizzes were also easy so long as you try and understand the material. Exams were also not too bad, he makes learning fun!
Professor Greska is an EXTREMELY caring professor, but his class structure definitely isn't for everyone. It is basically an asyn class with no due dates, unlimited retakes and lots of reading. It may sound easy and appealing but it's very easy to fall behind and become stressed. The flexibility is very helpful when it comes to time management.
Love Dr. Greska, lots of work to do for this class but easy if you know what you're doing. Lab practicals are difficult so get ready to study a lot for those, but overall this class if very fair and easy to get an A in if you apply yourself.
Lots of content to get through but the class was self-paced so as long as you manage all the work properly you will be fine. Exams and quizzes are taken online and have unlimited attempts. There are also extra credit opportunities at the end of the marking period so there is no reason to not do well in the class.
Attendance is not mandatory and all work is online, so I did not attend lecture. You will watch videos and answer questions, being able to retake as many times, and everything is due at the end of the semester, although there are due dates on the work to keep you on track. Very knowledgeable and loves what he does.
Attendance is not mandatory, you can retake all assignments as many times as you want, and all assignments are due at the end of the semester. You must get an 80% on an assignment to move on, so the lowest grade you can receive for this class is an 80%. But its easy to get an A! There are a lot of assignments but they are short and not challenging.
Not many people went to class since it wasnt required but I always went because professor greska put a lot of work into this class and really cares about his students. all of the tests/exams we could retake as many times as possible. Definitely my favorite professor I will be taking him again for KAAP 221!
Professor Greska's anatomy class is very straight forward and he makes it impossible to get below a B through his grading criteria. All of the work for the class is online and pretty easy to do well with. The only challenging part of the class is the 50 question content checks every so often. Other than that, take this class if you want an easy A!
Super nice professor who wants all his students to do well. The course was mainly all online besides lab. Lectures were easy to understand. He leaves most assignments open until the end of the semester so it was really easy to do well in the class as long as you did the assigned work.
Such a hard class. Pretty much learned nothing since it was online and the readings were so detailed and hard. Reteaching myself everything this summer :( So if you feel like you know nothing in this class, that is completely normal.
He is a nice guy!! Definitely recommend.
Very easy online class
This is the worst professor ever. His lectures are not informative because he sets a timer to only talk for 10 minutes at a time, then takes breaks. You have to pretty much memorize the entire textbook to do well on the tests, and there is no open notes or lowest test grade dropped. Stay safe out there
The exams were just not reflective of the course material. Frequently, he would have content on exams or practicals that was not on the preparation sheets. A couple of days before the third exam, he decided to double the content on the exam. He was a nice guy though, who did fun demonstrations and had interesting stories about anatomy.
Dr. Greska is overall a really nice guy who says he wants to see his students succeed. However his exams were awful they never reflected the stu ave us. There are countless select all that apply questions that are horrible. It is a good environment in his class, but his exams are horrible.
Lab was taught by TA's but Dr. Greska did provide very helpful Quizizz to study from. There's 5 practicals and they make up majority of your grade. The practicals are all multiple choice but you REALLY have to study for them. There's a practical every 3 weeks, but there's no other work. His announcements seem mean, but I've never talked to him.
The class is no longer online, everything is in person. He's a really nice guy but there is information on his test that you can't find anywhere (his slides/notes, the textbook, his assignments, his lectures). His lectures are no where near as in depth as the information you need to know, but there's no cumulative final.
Great class
he is an amazing professor and really cares about what he teaches. there is a lot of material, but exams are open note (as long as they are written). you will be palpating in class, but he teaches you how to do it correctly and respectfully in a way that will help you learn the material.
He truly wants you to understand the material. There is a lot of reading but it is an easy read as long as you are focused. The exams are also really easy as long as you pay attention during class and the readings. I recommend.
There was one week in the semester where I had over 40 assignments for this class. Although it is very easy, there is a lot of tedious work.
AMAZING professor - makes the lectures interesting and is able to connect boring topics with real application. Quizzes are unlimited attempts and reflect what the questions on the test will be, so it isn't difficult to know what to study. Also gives lots of resources, recorded lectures, practice questions, etc. that make it easy to study.
very easy class, all assignments are on canvas and no need to go to class.
Dr. Greska was by far one of the best professors I have had at UD. He genuinely cares about the well being of his students and has a unique vision of how to promote our learning. My only complaint is that he is a little hard to reach over email.
Greska is genuinely incredible, I would take him for every course if I could. He encourages students to actually learn by allowing unlimited chances to receive the highest score possible on all chapter quizzes/quiz activities. You can pretty much complete the assignments whenever you want as long as it doesn't go past the exam date.
da boy best professor ever
This class was very easy and there was only class two days a week and all tests and assignments were online.
No class in fridays, all tests and assignments were online.
Best professor I have had so far! Class not mandatory, all online materials (Quizzes, Exams, Assignments, Textbook, Etc). There are no concrete due dates for anything except exams. AND FUNNY!
Class was not mandatory, and often the lectures were behind where we were in the online modules. Exams and class work were all online which made it easy to do by yourself. The modules weren't hard, but there was a lot crammed in to each that made them long. He was also very nice and funny in class.
Difficult and fast paced class, but very nice professor. Attendance not mandatory, homework and quizzes are do at your own pace (only hard deadlines were exams that you take at home). Quizzes could also be taken an unlimited number of times for a better score. Downside was that it felt like A LOT of the content you have to learn yourself at home.
he is super nice. attendance is not mandatory and no classes on fridays. everything is online
Great professor lectures were interesting but not mandatory. All the material is online including tests and quizzes.
