The BEST teacher I've ever had! He doesn't believe in tests! As long as you do the online quizzes and the assignments on webct you're guaranteed an A+ in the class. He's a funny and only teaches what's useful! You don't need the book for this class. I wish he would teach more classes! He's amazing!

Lots of exams and quizes, but they were all very easy. He also offers lots of extra credit.

made class interesting with good examples. the quizzes took a lot of time and there were a ton of them and a ton of tests but they were very easy. he also seemed to curve the test grades because i got well over 100% on every test yet there were never any extra credit questions. do research studies instead of papers and the class will be a breeze

He's extremely funny and makes references to current history while keeping it interesting. Do the quizzes online, and they are practically the exams you take in class. The quizzes are unlimited, take them as much as you can. Do well on those, and you will get an A in the class.

Probably the best professor I've ever had. One may be tempted to slack off and not attend his lectures, but the fact of the matter is that this professor's classes are for those who are highly self-motivated. Extremely funny, his lectures are definitely NOT boring. Would recommend to any psych enthusiast!!

if you don't get an a in this class, maybe you shouldn't be in college. e. jackson is an awesome professor. just go to class..use the book for quizzes. when i took brain and behavior, we didn't have tests, just quizzes. you do need to be self motivated to actually retain the material, but i think that's true for most classes. 2 thumbs up!

This professor is awesome! He always provides opportunities for extra credit and is ALWAYS avaliable outside of class by email. Also, he makes the difficult material easier to understand by his use of humor in the lecture. I have taken two classes with him and would LOVE to take another.

Lecture was interesting, Very helpful, however, the quizzes are dreadful! Too time consuming and are really a pain to make up.

Greatest teacher ever! He makes his classes extremely easy and fun to go to. Doesn't believe in tests; no mid term or final! He gives weekly quizzes online that are a piece of cake. He posts his lectures online. I never used the book and got A+'s in all his classes. He gives lots of extra credit opportunities. Take him if you want an easy A!:)

Very interesting course. First time he has taught Abnormal so it was almost directly from the textbook. Weekly online classes and in-class clicker quizzes are main grades. No tests! I would take a course from him again if given the chance.

Great Class!!!! Very informative and engaging. You wont sleep through this one. No finals, online quizes weekly with iClicker use during class. Learned a lot.

Great! Very knowledgeable, he puts a lot of work into his lectures. Adept presenter and really puts on a show. I only wish I had taken Biology and some other sciences because his classes are like pre-med. But he is sane reasonable and NOT sadistic.This class can be demanding but he makes learning possible, not just rote memorizing. Go to classes.

Very good Preofessor. He allows for flexibility even in his 200+ attendance classes. Very approachable and is a great model for what a great professor should be.

Eric is highly intelligent and has a great sense of humor. This class was so interesting, and I learned a lot. He is a great match to teach it.

This is the second time that I've taken a class with Eric Jackson (the first time was Psych 240), and I enjoyed this class even more than the first. He's hilarious and intelligent; this is the one class that I actually WANT to go to. There are no tests, just quizzes online which takes away a LOT of stress. I only wish he taught more classes!!

Definitely an easy A. Quizzes and tests can be taken multiple times and the material is explained very well in the text. I took this class online and it is minimal effort and not terribly time consuming. The expectations are made clear from day 1 and the assignments are a breeze! I would definitely recommend him as a GPA booster!

very awesome class! i learned so much! a lot of people dont like this class because it requires you to actually go and there is a lot of work. but the way it is set up, everyone should get a B or better. unless your just too lazy to do the work.

Awesome teacher. Very funny and keeps the clss interesting. Powerpoints are easy to understand and usually have short video clips.Quizzes, tests, exams, and finals are all on WebCT. Just go to class and don't forget your iclicker

Great teacher, had him for several classes and they all follow the same format. going to class is somewhat optional, you'll learn alot more, but theres usually participation points involved. It's almost impossible not to ace his classes!

Very amazing instructor. Attended every single lecture and not one time did i leave class laughing about his jokes he made. Lectures were based on the chapters in the book. Attendance is mandatory because uses iClicker to gather attendance points.

Professor Jackson is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of his subject matter. He makes it interesting, and he's hilarious. His class required use of an online program that was excessively time consuming. No in-class tests, 4 miniscule h.w. assignments, and all quizzes can be re-taken. There is no excuse not to receive an A+ in his class.

A lot of time-consuming online quizzes,on the flip side you have unlimited tries. But if you want to get an A+ in the class you gotta put in a lot of time to get perfect scores on quizzes. Wouldn't recommend for those with busy schedules.

Very cool teacher. Funny! I learned quite a bit from him, I even signed up for another Psych (Brain&Behavior) class with him in the fall! I always looked forward to attending his class I say this is a must take for anyone that wants/needs to take Psych 105

The quizzes and exams are super easy if you put in the time to do them. If you need to take Psychology 105 take it with Jackson!! You will learn a lot and enjoy going to class!

The best professor I've had while at UNM. He is really helpful, he makes the class easy and allows you to catch up on the homework, and you can tell he cares about all of the students. He is great.

Great, easy going professor. Attendance points can easily be made up, lectures/assignments can be viewed/submitted online, and all assignments are due on the last day of class. No tests, no stress, and a very informative class. I HIGHLY recommend taking his classes

He is the reason I decided to get a psychology minor! His classes are super easy but you still learn a lot. I love his classes and have taken 3 so far. He's amazing

He's really great. I took his class first semester of my freshman year and it was my favorite one by far. He makes everything really easy to understand and still makes it interactive even though it's such a huge class. I'm a huge procrastinator so I wouldn't always finish chapter tests on time but the TAs are super nice and helped me get an A.

Get him whenever you can! Every week there was a quiz on the lecture and a quiz on the textbook chapter, points for discussion, no midterm or final, and you can take the quizzes as many times as you want to get a higher grade. He really is an 'easy A' teacher that teaches you a lot while making it interesting!

Also had him for PSY 347. Awesome guy. Really knows what he's talking about. I learn so much from him, more then any of my other classes. His test are easy to do well on. He makes class fun and interesting. Super helpful and nice. Just an awesome class and awesome teacher.

Really awesome professor, interesting guy, and really laid back. Absolutely hated the online work. Took forever, wasn't necessarily hard as much as just annoying and frustrating. Interesting class for the most part, but I wouldn't take it again just because of those online quizzes.

Informative lectures and a teaching style that enables you to work at your own pace. No midterms. No final. Its an easy A, but when you're taking a class about drug use you've probably done plenty of 'field research' already.

This is one of my favorite professors and I'm decently upset that I've run out of psych classes that he teaches. Highly recommended in that I love going to class every day and I learn a lot without ever having to cram for tests. It's just interesting material.

He's an "easy A" and probably gets flack for it. But even with his style of grading, I remember more from his class than classes that require in-class testing. His lectures are engaging because he speaks from personal experience and he's so f'ing hilarious. Hands down the best teacher on campus (Alley is a close second).

This professor was fantastic. The lectures were always interesting and fun, and he's very clear about course requirements to pass the class. If you're taking PSY105, take it with Jackson.

Mr. Jackson is a really good professor. You just go to class and use your iClicker for attendence. You have online quizzes that you can take over and over until you get the grade you want. It's also a very interesting class.

Best Psychology Professor Ever! Online chapter tests can be taken multiple times. Extra credit for attending class, and discussion boards. Book suggested but all points on tests covered in class powerpoints. The best was to learn and professor is so funny. Take all psych classes with Prof. Jackson, The Best!

I have to say, Prof. Jackson is a great teacher, I learned a lot from him and he makes lecture enjoyable with his sense of humor. Your grade in the course is dependent on how much effort you put in the quizzes. Overall just one of the best, I would recommend taking his classes.

Erik Jackson is a fantastic teacher. His class is a no-brainer. You can PASS THE CLASS on the first day if you felt like it. All quizzes are online and you get participation points just for clicking your i-clicker, even if the answer is wrong. But some of the things he will show you and tell you, i promise, you wont' ever forget. Take this course!

iclicker required for daily quiz points. Tests online with multiple re-take opportunities. Very helpful and quick in responding to emails. Will work with you to succeed. Adds humor to the lectures, which are never dry.

I loved this class! The content was so interesting and he's so charismatic. Attendance is mandatory for iclicker points but it's not a big deal because you WANT to go to lectures. 16 quizzes on Learn with multiple attempts. Easy easy easy HIGHLY recommend!

Very interesting and easy class. Jackson is a really cool guy and the way he designs his lectures is very good! The hour would pass by in what felt like 15 minutes. Show up, click in, and pay attention and you will do well. There are no in class exams, all you have to do is take the quizzes multiple times until you get full points.

This professor is very funny, he truly loves his profession. There are a couple written assignments and weekly lecture and book quizzes. The quizzes are self passed so you work as quickly or slowly as you need. Easy A!

Jackson makes class so much fun, i actually looked forward to going to that class everyday. Go to class and get your iclicker points and make sure to do the homework and quizzes online and you will get an A. Just know you wont leave that class without having laughed at least once a day. Really Great Professor! His class is great, fun, and makes psychology fun! Take it with him instead of Hodge. All UNM professors use the same slides and Connect system. The Online quizzes and tests can be overwhelming, but if you put in the effort, you'll get an A+. Great class! HE IS THE BEST TEACHER AT UNM!

Jackson is AWESOME! His Drugs and Behavior class has been one of my favorite classes at UNM. He makes his lectures interesting and the information is relevant. I have also had him for Brain and Behavior and that is another great class to take. Jackson is an overall great teacher, he really cares about students and their quality of education.

Jackson's is much more interesting than any of the other psych professors. His lectures are interesting, fun and funny. The online stuff is a pain, but it's required in all PSY 105 classes, so it's unavoidable. Jackson makes the material fun, even if you don't like Psychology much.

This class is great. The lectures are always interesting, the online quizzes have unlimited attempts, and Jackson communicates easily via email and office hours. I enjoy psychology but it's not my major, so Jackson's classes work great for me - laid-back, keep it interesting, low stress.

Hells yes! Just completed my Psych Perception online with him. Semester isn't over for a few weeks, but I got to finish early because he opens EVERYTHING at the beginning and makes the last day of the semester the deadline. You can read, test, and discuss at your own rate. Very informative too. No need for the textbook with this class! Love him!

Eric Jackson is absolutely hilarious. If you have to take Psych for your major, I strongly recommend you get into his class. It's hard to motivate yourself to go to class and stay awake when there are 600 other students, but he makes it worth it!! This was my favorite class because of him.

I really enjoyed Eric as a professor. He makes learning about the brain a really fun topic. Very interactive. You'll need a clicker and the book is mandatory for exams. They are not too bad though. Keep up with everything and you should be fine. Class is enjoyable. I would definitely take it again. I will miss being in his class!

Professor Jackson's lectures were funny and engaging for a crowd of almost 600. All 105 classes have to do lots of assignments so that's really not his fault. But Jackson does a good job of explaining the material and keeping you awake so you'll know what you're doing on those tests.

Makes you take 3 quizzes and a test online every week, and you have to retake them 10-20 times. Very time consuming. But this is the standard for all psych 105 classes at UNM. Overwhelming for a freshman, but a good class in general.

This class is GREAT! Jackson is hilarious! Easiest A ever. Make sure to do ALL the online homework and quizzes (even if you get a D on the online quizzes). I passed the class with a A and did horrible on my quarterly exams. MAKE SURE YOU DO ALL THE ASSIGNMENTS THOUGH, and you will get an A.

I love this teacher! I would love to take another class by him. He is funny and obviously loves what he does. Sometimes the work load can be heavy (having 3 tests in one week and three quizzes per test) but he will often let class go very early when he does this.

Jackson is an amazing professor. He has amazing lectures that you get really into. The quizzes aren't as bad as i thought they were going to be and i learned the material quickly. I would definitely recommend taking this professor for psych 105.

Eric has a really good sense of humor, and has a gift for making really interesting lectures. The test questions can be tricky, but you're able to continually take them until you get 100%. It's important to note that if you don't show up to class, then you will get a bad grade. Attendance is recorded with I-Clicker questions.

Expectations were set from the beginning. No deviation. Just do what you're supposed to do and you should be fine!

Had Professor Jackson for Psychology of Perception. I like the way he administered this online course. You can work at your own pace. You are required to do Discussions, Quizzes, and an optional, technical EC assignment. I used the book throughout, it was helpful for the discussions, very interesting topic too. Overall, he's great.

I took Gen Psychology with Jackson, being it my first class in the morning he made it fun to attend he has a great sense of humor and makes his lectures fun, He makes it very clear that if you slack you will fall behind but theres always help through the TA's and its a fairly simple class to pass with an A+ if you don't miss the weekly tests.

Do not skip class. The clicker questions are a major part of your grade. He loves helping others. Very clear. He's hilarious and makes psychology easy enough to understand for beginners. If you mess around during lecture, he will call you out. So be mature. Do HW, tests, exams, quizzes, and reports. Get ahead or you'll fall behind FAST.

This is the first time I've had Prof. Jackson for a sit-in class. His lectures involve interesting visuals and videos. He brought forth humor in his -lectures which keeps the listeners interest. The I-clickr was used for attendance and grade points. Quizzes are online, and can be done at your own pace. The quizzes are not bad at all.

Jackson is my favorite professor in the Psych department. This is my third class with him. All of his classes are based on quizzes and participation. Quizzes are easy. If you're complaining about them, it's either because you're lazy or don't show up. He has no tests and doesn't require a book. Choose your own grade. Very interesting lectures.

I thoroughly enjoyed Jackson's lectures. They were engaging, funny, and easy to follow. However, the amount of quizzes given throughout the semester is extremely overwhelming, so be prepared! DO NOT skip class. Clicker questions happen every day. And DO NOT textsleepreadtalk during lecture. He will not hesitate to embarrass and kick you out.

Beginning class is hard, but stick through it. The other classes he teaches after 105 are easy as hell!

Jackson is legitimately one of my favorite professors at the entire University. I've intentionally take 4 classes with him. He is incredibly helpful, and willing to go out of his way to accommodate students. His lectures are entertaining and witty, and he keeps the class engaged. Easy A+, just do the homework. Free 100%. I've taken every class that Eric teaches! He is AMAZING! I really appreciate his willingness to learn from students. He makes lectures very entertaining! Just going to class is worth the comedy hour he puts on! This is an easy pass if you put time into it and don't procrastinate as I did! He keeps all tests open until end of the semester and helps!

Though I can't say I learned much from Jackson's lectures, I enjoyed this course. Most of this class was online and it's not too much as long as it's kept up with. Go to the lectures for sure, participation points really add up and it's easy to hurt your grade by missing class even just a few times.

He is very funny and does his best to make the lecture more interesting. The class is not hard at all, just make sure you keep up with all the online quizzes. iClicker points are given, do not skip class. Those participation point add up like crazy. I would definitely take this class again

This class was very good. I thought Jackson's lectures were very in-depth and engaging, even though I was not particularly interested in the topic. The only things he grades you on are your participation points in class (iClicker quizzes that are only for participation) and chapter tests (which are all online and due on the last day of class).

This class was easy, and his lectures were really entertaining. I definitely recommend this class. The book was online and pretty expensive, though, so keep that in mind.

Eric is amazing. You have to show up for clicker points, that way he see's your still coming to class because he doesn't give any tests, except weekly quizzes online about his lectures that you can take until you pass. Easy A+ FOR SURE. He's funny, and Drugs & behavior is a great class for all of us to take to gain a higher education on drugs.

Jackson is a cool guy and the lectures are entertaining. However most if your grade depends on taking quizes online. The problem with this is that you need to take the quizes each 6 times to get credit so be ready to sit at your computer clicking for hours each week. Easiest A you will ever get but be ready for hours of tedoius busy work for it.

You have to go to class to get clicker points, but other than that the class only consists of 2 assignments and weekly quizzes and you have unlimited chances to get 100% on them! I have had Professor Jackson for 3 classes now and I have to say he is one of my favorite instructors at UNM. His material is interesting and engaging he respects his students opinions and really cares about them. If you respect him he will respect you. His classes are easy if you do the work then you will receive an A.

This class was online. It was a fair amount of work. The MyPsychLab Quizzes are tough, but doable, and the lecture quizzes also take the time to get right. But its worth it because they account for nearly all of your points and completing everyone of those for a near to perfect score is an easy way to ensure a A-A+.

The class does require a bit of work. All quizzes on learn and mypsychlab are due at the end of the semester. You have unlimited attempts to to take the quizzes. This class is an easy A as long as you put in the effort. There are four writing assignments and each take about 30 minutes to complete. I would take a class with him again. Great teacher

Dr. Jackson is great! His lectures are interesting, and he shows a lot of videos. There are no in class exams which is awesome, and all of the assignments are online and due at the end of the semester. I have taken a couple classes with Dr. Jackson and loved them. I would definitely recommend taking one of his classes.

Professor Jackson is great! He is funny which makes the lectures entertaining. Weekly homework is online but there are 3 in-class exams. Also, he isn't super strict about class time so we got out early sometimes. This was my favorite class all semester. I would definitely recommend him!

His Drugs and Behavior class was the easiest class I have ever taken. You get iclicker participation points, there is no exam, and you only have 1 quiz for each lecture that you're allowed to take as many times as you want and they aren't due until the end of the semester. His class was also very interesting and informative.

The course itself is rather boring but Mr. Jackson does an excellent job in teaching the subject. Attendance is graded based on clicker questions that must be answered every class period. We didn't use our books at all, and the lectures aren't used much either. The entire class is based on WEEKLY QUIZZES, which also make up the tests and exams.

No exams, just weekly online quizzes, which give you 3 attempts per question. The online quizzes and participation points (iClicker questions) are worth roughly 50% of the total grade each. Unless you don't show up or don't take the quizzes, it'd be hard to get below a B. Lectures are interesting/funny; if you want to learn more, read the book.

Professor Jackson does a really good job at discussing the material during the lectures and likes to joke around too! You need an iClicker for questions AND these questions will counts towards participation. As long as you participate in class, do ALL the online quizzes, tests, and exams in-class, you should pass this class with an A.

Funniest teacher at UNM. Attendance isn't mandatory but he does clicker questions for participation points. The majority of points for the class are the online quizzes though. Great class and easy A+, definitely recommend.

One of the easiest classes I've ever taken as well as one of the most informative. Work consisted of attendence and weekly quizzes, and lecture material was extremely useful, teaching extremely useful information about drugs. Inspired me to go into drug rehab as a career.

Jackson clearly loves what he does, his lectures keep your interests and if you are barely paying attention you are still learning. He is very understanding, if you have any problems just bring it to his attention and he will find a way to help. Honestly if you fail or don't learn at least one thing new, it's your fault.

Great lectures, the only problem I had was the overload on quizzes/tests

Basically, every week you're supposed to listen to prerecorded lectures of his and complete a few discussion board posts and a weekly quiz assignment. There's also 4 short essay style papers throughout the semester, nothing difficult though. He's easily reachable by email or his office hours. Would definitely take again.

Eric is such a cool professor. He hates tests just as much as students do so we had none, not even a final exam. We had one online quiz a week that were 15 questions and super easy. His lectures were super interesting and I learned a lot of cool stuff. He's super funny and cares about the subject. Show up and take the quizzes and you'll do well.

Prof Jackson's online Psych class was great! Very easy to follow and clear grading criteria. I know a lot of people in the class have taken multiple classes with him- I know that I definitely would!

Eric Jackson is one of the coolest Professors! I'm taking his drugs and behavior class and his lectures are absolutely awesome! Professor Jackson is an awesome professor. The textbook is online and it comes with quizzes after each chapter which are generally pretty easy. His lectures are not hard to comprehend and he answers all questions thoroughly. Most lectures come with videos to further explain the concepts. He takes attendance by iclicker so make sure to go to class.

Easy A, takes attendance via IClickers, online quizzes on each chapter discussed in class. Quizzes are fairly easy, usually you get up to three attempts to answer each question before it is incorrect. He really cares about his students, he is not afraid to kick students out of his class if they are being inconsiderate. Highly recommend!

This class is such a good class to take. Its a lot of work because there are a lot of quizzes and test but if you find the right person you can get the answers. The lectures are fun and the teacher makes the class fun. They really want you success with over 400 points of extra credit available. Such a good teacher.

Jackson goes through topics very quickly. It's not really a big deal grade-wise just kind of annoying if you want focus. Grade was based on attendance and online quizzes and short answers that would close weekly and reopen at the end of the semester. offers EC along the way. His humor is v sarcastic and dry but hilarious.

Eric is one of the best professors I've had at UNM. I learned more from his lectures than most others, without the stress and worry of unnecessary assignments.

Show up to lecture, participate by clicking in with your clickers and do the quizzes online. It's not a hard class if you do the quizzes and tests on the days they're due. Lots of opportunity to makeup a test if you missed it and extra credit as well. He's a pretty cool professor and tries to stay relevant and up to date to appeal to students

Prof. Jackson is great! His lectures were very entertaining, and there was lots of opportunity for easy extra credit. I passed with over a 100%. If you do the work and show up to class, it's a breeze. I really enjoyed taking psych with Jackson.

The most tedious thing about the course would have to be the chapter quizzes. We have three quizzes per chapter, and we have to take each quiz at least 6 times scoring 95 or better on at least one. It was a great way to learn and retain the material but it was super time consuming and you have to stay of top of the work.

I loved this class. It is the easiest A I have ever received. You have to go to class in order to earn the participation points, but you can honestly just listen, play on your phone, and answer the occasional question. The quizzes may sound like a lot of work, but it's how they teach you the test material. Keep up and you'll love the class

Eric Martin Jackson's class was not difficult. Read the material, listen to the audio lectures and you will pass. His audio lectures go over the material from the readings and he adds some funny comments and interesting clips that shouldnt be missed.

No book, gives thorough but fun video lecture. No exams, all quizzes due by end of semester, discussions each week. Overall pretty good, fairly easy. Passable even if you miss half the work (whoops).

Eric Jackson is a great professor. I had him for intro to psych, drugs and behavior, and cognitive psychology. I enjoyed all of his classes because he encourages you to ask questions during lecture, and there are little to no tests or homework. My only complaint is that he often skims the surface of subjects rather than delving deaper.

Jackson is awesome! There are no exams. His class is truly what you make of it. You can pass easily by doing the bare minimum (but homework is weighted heavily). However, you can really learn a lot of material if you listen and engage. Always encourages questions.

The class was very interesting and it was obvious that Professor Jackson has a passion for this subject. All quizzes were due at the end of the semester and there were weekly discussions. If you had any questions, Professor Jackson was always willing to help.

I LOVE PROFESSOR JACKSON! i have taken every class i can with him. He is the best. His classes are the easiest and most interesting. In this class he had many videos that related to the course. iclicker is required to earn participation points which help your grade whether you get the answer correct or not.

He has weekly discussions plus weekly quizzes (all quizzes due the week of finals). No exams, no midterm or final. Two papers are assigned. I would take more classes with him if available.

I loved Professor Jackson! He's so funny and does his best to engage everyone and make the material fun and interesting. We didn't have any tests or finals, just 2 quizzes per chapter and these really fun experiment simulations called ZAPS. In class, he showed neat videos that he used to further explain a point. Would totally his class again!

An intro class is just to get you started, not dig deep into material. Jackson has great lectures that keep the material simple and understandable. Most of the work is done outside of class, which can be frustrating yes, but you can take the quizzes as many times as you need. Easy A if you at least try. iClicker questions each class.

Uses the clickr system for participation points. Initially we were suppose to have weekly ONLINE quizzes that could be taken as many times as desired and three tests taken only once but he decided to just do the quizzes. That means the quizzes that we could take as many times as necessary made up all of our grade besides the clickr points. TAKE HIM

I have nothing bad to say about this man. He is a great lecturer and is very organized and you can tell that he cares about the topic and his students. His class is easy to follow and doesn't have a ton of deadlines. Basically, there are quizzes for each module but they're due at the end of the semester and he provides the textbook. Great class!

Really nice guy, lectures are always interesting and funny. Weekly quizes will eat up a lot of your time but there is no challenging component to it if your willing to put the few hours a week towards it. I never once read a single word of the text book and I got an A+

Quizzes are based on the slides, and you can use the slides or Google. You can take the quizzes as many times until you get a perfect score. A few discussions, and extra credit opportunities!

Wonderful teacher! His lectures were engaging and fun and I really enjoyed learning about psychology. There are weekly quizzes and daily iClicker questions along with weekly tests. However, you can take quizzes as many times as needed to get 100% on them. Tests were always based on quizzes so they were easy.

He's accessible outside of class and a fair professor. I have nothing but good things to say about him, a solid choice every time!

Easy class, you just attend to engage in iClicker polls for a grade. You do not really have to pay attention as you do quizzes online to study. Quizzes are weekly and very time-consuming and amount for most of your grade. There are a lot of XTRA credit opportunities which is helpful. Good teacher and class overall!

The lectures give you a basis for the material you learn. The quizzes are how you really learn the material and are basically your homework grade. The Iclicker is for participation points. There is at least one chapter test a week and multiple quarterly exams. There is a great deal of opportunity to earn extra credit in research credits and tests.

Eric is a great professor! Please take any of his psychology courses. He really cares about his students and answers all and any question. I learned a lot from this class and he makes it super interesting. I took cognitive psychology and it was a great class!

By far the best professor. Lectures are incredible! Class format kind of sucks. 17 chapters * 3 quizzes per chapter * 6 MANDATORY attempts per quiz 306 total quizzes, 17 chapter tests (a test after each chapter, basically the same exact thing as the quizzes), 4 Quarterly Exams + 1 Final Exam. All tests and exams are proctored, so dont cheat!

Although the lectures hardly had anything to do with the material, Professor Jackson was super entertaining and made the lectures fun. Most of the class is just quizzes so most days we got out of class fifteen to twenty minutes early. The strange formatting of the class worked great for me but I knew a lot of people that seriously struggled.

Dr. Jackson is a great professor in person, however this course was difficult to stay on task with. The class itself was not hard, but for the lecture videos, a lot of times it felt like the powerpoints were just being read from. I ended up just taking notes off the lecture slides towards the end to save time. Overall easy and interesting course.

I took this class as a summer class to finish up my minor and this class was very easy! The instructor is very nice and easy to reach at ANY TIME! He responds within minutes. All assignments were listed so if you like to finish ahead of time this is a perfect course. 10/10 recommend if you have a busy schedule like me and just need a quick class.

Lectures are very well delivered. His use of humor and clear structure make the coarse easy and interesting to follow. He is inclusive while remaining unbiased within all topics. The coarse work was all on an online textbook (included with class), the textbook is easy to navigate, I found it very effective in my learning journey.

Very, very nice and understanding. The Mindtap was easy but useful. I loved his lectures, but if you are wanting to take notes, make sure you can write/type quickly as he moves through topics fast. It's very easy to get a good grade because of the supplemental homework, which is easy and beneficial.

Class was very easy. All work is given online. Nothing was hard. At the end of the semester he ended up opening up all the assignments including test's for those that may have missed the deadline. Dr. Jackson cares about student's grades and simply wants them to pass the class. If you want easy credit hours, this is the class to take.

He's probably one of the reasons why I miss being at UNM!! Professor Jackson is one the most compassionate and understanding professors out there in the country. He's very LGBTQ friendly and inclusive in many other forms because it is important that every student feels welcomed in his lecture room. As long you show up, you cannot fail the class!

The assignments were very straightforward and easy. Overall, his lectures were good and entertaining. Sometimes he made comments that made me uncomfortable but he also made very good points. He does a great job at getting information across.

Dr. Jackson was an incredible professor. I was in his Psy1110 class and absolutely loved it. His lectures were always something to look forward to he made them interesting, easy to engage with and connect to. I liked the way mindtap was set up, it was easy to follow along and grasp what you are learning. Favorite professor, Dr. Jackson is amazing!

This was the first class I took taught by Jackson and I took it last semester. It was a great and informative class! His lectures and teaching style is easy to follow and there are lots of chances for questions. He is super easy to talk to after class or through email and he is always ready to help you.

Does a lecture for every class. If you attend all of them with your iclicker then you get extra credit. There is an assignment that is memorization every week along with a quiz that you have 10 attempts for (easy).

I've taken classes taught by Eric in the past and each class has been amazing. He is passionate and cares about the students. His lectures are easy to follow and provide great information. If you do your assignments, read the chapters, pay attention, do well on your tests, and participate, you will pass this class with a great grade!

I really enjoyed Professor Jackson's class. Attendance is graded, but he is extremely willing to work with you on it if you have any issues. He was very accommodating of my disability and really just wants to see his students succeed and enjoy what they're learning. Responds to emails very quickly and is very approachable.

Jackson's online course is easy, if you get anything lower than an A, idk what to tell you. He opens all assignments at the end of the semester, so there is no reason to not turn homework in. The only issue I have with his course is the research - as it's not clearly stated how much to turn in. His TA's always took forever to email me back too

His lectures are very interactive and it feels like there's never a dull moment in learning during his class. The class may feel a little fast paced, but I personally like it. The MindTap textbook and activities aren't time consuming either and if you forget your iclicker for one class, you will still get the participating points for that day.

Professor Jackson was very nice and caring. In this course we used a software program called Mindtap. This class was very easy. Towards the end of the semester he opens back up all of the assignments from the semester and makes it due at the end of the semester.

Prof. Jackson was very nice and funny. His class was an easy A, and everything is on Quizlet. The only reason you need to show up is for participation points everything you need is online. However, if you miss class, you can just message the TA, and they will give credit. I recommend taking this class online since everything you need is online.

My favorite thing about Jackson's classes are his lectures. He jumps right in and makes them super interesting, and moves very fast. I've taken 3 of his classes in the past, and he never disappoints! The material is always fun, and the discussion posts are fun and interactive. There is a discussion post every week, which can feel overwhelming, but they're not difficult at all. I always feel safe and excited to learn when interacting with him. Taking another class in the fall!

Literally easiest class. Show up to get extra credit from clickers, do assignments online (easy) and you're done. TA's are super quick w/ grading and understanding. Willing to give extensions if needed and understanding about attendance. Professor was super nice; his main rule is just don't go on your computer and don't be disruptive. easy as that.

Dr. Jackson is very personable. He speaks to the class instead of reading off the board and you can tell he puts effort into his slides. One chapter a week, each chapter has two easy assignments. Almost a guaranteed A. Daily attendance counts for a small amount of points but it adds up quickly.

Jackson is seriously one of the best professors at UNM. He genuinely cares about his students. Although you may have to read a lot it's not horrible. At the end of the course he will open up past assignments for students to do so they are able to pass. Although attendance is mandatory with Iclicker his lectures are really interesting!

Uses mindtap so all the lessons were available! I finished the whole class by the beginning of the semester. Had an easy time getting the assignments done and only had to worry about remembering about the canvas tests! I would definitely recommend this class to anyone.

Awesome guy with a unique perspective. Class taught me a lot about how we perceive ourselves and science as a concept. Lots of real life examples and stories that tie into the concepts taught.
