His open labs were amazing. He's very thorough, knows his stuff, took time out of his own schedule (unpaid) to help students understand the material. Very approachable, so smart, and just a great teacher!

Eric is the only teacher that I had that cared about his students. He was a great teacher and knows his stuff. If he is teaching the class, I highly recomend taking any class he is apart of.

Eric is an amazing anatomy lab instructor. This course is quite challenging, but Eric really knows his stuff and has a great way of presenting it so that you not only learn it for the lab practicals, but actually help you RETAIN what you learn. You don't have to have the book inorder to take the class. we never even use it, u just need the lab manule. The class is easy as long as you take notes and study! This course is incredibly difficult!!Mr. Kenz does give you every resource available to help you succeed, but don't for one minute think his class is easy. Go to open lab every chance you get. The practicals are intimidating initially, but you will get comfortable after #2. Give this class top priority.

Before Eric my whole class was failing w/ our old teacher. But by the end of the quarter over 95% if not 100% left with an A. He is nice, easy to understand, answers question/concerns and makes things fun and interesting for class participation. He is one of the best teachers I've had in college. I took this as a hybrid course, but Kenz was amazing! The PowerPoints, study guides, and Virtual Friday/Sunday all make understanding and retaining a heavy course easier. He seems to go out of his way to help all of the students, even us hybrid students who usually get left to figure everything out on our own. Kenz is a hard act to follow!

Hands down one of the best instructors I've ever had. Anatomy wasn't a memorization game in his class, but more relative to associations. I am a freshman at OSU and I had to take this class because it was full at OSU. He was better than any of the teachers that I have had there. The subject matter was not necessarily easy, but he makes it so enjoyable that you know the material before you leave the room,wish he was at osu so I could take more classes from him. I took the hybrid Anatomy class. Great Professor. Study guides are intense, but if you make all of the questions into flashcards you'll get an A on every test. No surprise questions, EVER. Practical's can be difficult, just use APR for the muscles and make sure you know how to identify each structure on the word banks handed out. STUDY PLENTY= A

Material is VERY hard (or should I say - there's A LOT of material), but Eric Kenz is extremely professional and helpful. I took the hybrid anatomy course when it was still quarters. Eric was the lecture professor. He was AWESOME. He was really focused on making sure you were prepared and going over what you were expected to know with a fine-toothed comb. I only wish I would have had him as the lab teacher as well. I finished Bio 2300 with Prof. Kenz. I can honestly say he is probably my favorite teacher (including grade school). Also, I feel like if it weren't for him, Bio would have been very difficult. You do not need the book. You will never use it. You only the APR code inside the book for one or two assignments. Lectures were above my head. Too lab heavy. Wish he spent more time in lecture to make lab understandable. Your life will become this class. If you show up and study forever, you MIGHT pass. Just showing up will not get you an A.

Eric, is AMAZING! He tells the best stories to help you remember the info. The class is not hard BUT it's A LOT of information in a short time frame. Anatomy was my LIFE. I took Algebra & Ethics with this class and I earned a 4.0 this semester. It does require EFFORT and STUDY, STUDY, and MORE STUDY. It will be in your best interest. Take Eric!!!!!

I really wish I would've had Kenz for both lab and lecture! I had taken a really difficult semester and didn't always have the extra time to study for this class, so Kenz's lectures were extremely helpful and I remembered the material better than with the other teacher. Best advice for this class would be come ready to learn and participate.

Eric is a very down-to-earth professor who cares about his relationships with his students. The class itself was very time-consuming which is why I took it in the summer. Took anatomy 2300 blended. watch lecs, fill out manual, review for exam, you'll get an A. He rounded me up at the end of the semester too. Go to labs and you'll get 100s on your lab quizzes. Definitely an easier class. Would recommend taking it. If you put in enough time to watch the lecs online once, you'll get an A. Take blended, it's easy.

Great teacher! I learned a ton during my class (which was 2 yrs ago btw). Now that I'm getting ready to finish up my Nursing degree I continue to look back on what I learned with Eric teaching. Why? Class is hard and will take a lot of time. We were a test group and used Ipads instead of textbooks. Eric is passionate about the subject and a good instructor. It's just SO MUCH material. Tests were VERY hard. Be prepared to devote at least 2 hours per night for study. Also gave exit quizzes at the end of most classes - so be ready!

Professor Kenz was the best!!! The hardest part of this class was staying on top of the material and CONSTANTLY STUDYING. Do the exam preps!!! They help tremendously. There really isn't a lot you're graded on so make sure you're studying hard for tests.

This professor is the man!!! Gives weekly quizzes on Blackboard with unlimited attempts which helped boost my grade in this course. Study the Ibook for all exams and you will pass. Wonderful, best professor in the entire school

Eric Kenz is a very smart guy and actually makes anatomy interesting and fun. I actually look forward to the lectures. Plus, he's very funny, he is probably the only one out of my professors that got a laugh out of me lol

I took anatomy this fall and he was great. He made sure your time was well spent and that your work was to drill the information in your head. You will have to work hard for your grade though, but it is to be expected to some degree because it is a 4 point class

I will be graduating next semester but this was my favorite class taken while at CSCC. Prof Kenz wants you to succeed and uses very creative teaching techniques (ieGenius Drawings). He is really good at teaching to all different learning styles in online lectures. Impressed how this class was without an in-person lab component. Learned so much, TY!

Great professor, just a super hard class. Make sure to study everyday and ask questions as much as possible. Eric does his best to help you succeed but its up to you to study on your own time.

I would highly recommend taking Human Anatomy with Professor Kenz. He has a deep understanding of the material and a passion for teaching. He applies real-world learning and critical thinking in all of his lectures. I gained a multitude of knowledge from him and I appreciate how he challenges you to think.

This course was hard there is no doubt about that. However, Professor Kenz made it fun and he was absolutely hilarious. He teaches in a way that at first you struggle but once he starts to show you things in class it all clicks immediately. YOU HAVE TO ATTEND CLASS AND STUDY. This is not a bird course by any means. HE IS THE TEACHER YOU WANT!!!!

Prof. Kenz is by far the best Professor at Columbus State! Anatomy is a hard class by itself, but prof Kenz gives his students tons of resources to help them excel in his class and he makes the class do able, such as creating drawings and creating mnemonics which help you remember stuff. I highly recommend Prof. Kenz to anyone taking Anatomy!

Prof Kenz was one of my favorite professors at CState. He definitely knows his stuff and expects you to give your all. The class is a lot of work but he gives all the help he possibly can, including study materials for exams. His classes are always fun to be in and you're definitely prepared for anything.

Love this class only because he is such a good professor. Without his knowledge, being able to keep things simple, and connecting the units/topics together, I would have been completely lost. Wish he taught physiology too.

Favorite professor ever! I loved Mr. Kenz and his different stories about anatomy. There are many assignments, but they are all very helpful in learning the materials. He makes sure that you are prepared for you tests and quizzes very well by with thorough labs and lectures. He has lots of helpful tips to remember things like stories and drawings.

Every Anatomy class requires work outside of lab & lecture. However, Professor Kenz made the material easily digestible. He gave great relatable ways to understand and connect the material to the various pieces in anatomy. I would take his class any day!

I didn't study for this class at all outside of class, yet I still passed with a B. This class is by no means easy but he really makes it hard to fail. You get an extra 10 points just for showing up to class, he rounds everything up, and he explains things very well. practicals are really easy, written were hard but I didn't study so that's on me.

probably the best professor i've had thus far in this school. made very difficult units easier to understand and he will go out of his way to make sure you understand a concept. this class wasn't easy but he made is bearable. takes a little long to put in grades but if that's the worst he gets, then he's doing pretty good.

Kenz is one of the best professors I have ever had! So great, I made sure I retook him for BIO2301. As long as you put in the effort, you will do great in this class. He is super passionate, knowledgeable, and helpful. Attendance is required and graded, but I always enjoyed going anyway because he made the labs interesting and engaging.

Eric is great! I took this as a blended course. In person for lab he was amazing, he would not only do all the cadaver work but lecture on confusing topics as well. He doesn't respond to emails but is very straight forward in person and wants you to succeed. With that said study a little every day and you will be fine.

Professor Kenz is amazing teacher. He works with students and help them individually based on assistance needed. He is always there to answer any question and makes you feel learning in a positive environment.

Professor Kenz, is very straightforward about what you need to study for as long as you show up to class consistently and make the effort you will do fine. He explains lectures well. Be prepared to read and dedicate minimum 18 hours of studying time outside of class. Time management is key that way you understand and succeed. Don't fall behind!

I dont think Id pass this class without his help. Kenz makes it very easy to understand topics. I thought Id bomb this class, but surprisingly, it wasnt bad. Im not gonna lie though, those drawings are diabolical, I never understood a single one brother. Also he will never reply to emails, that mans booked and busy.. Overall, 10/10 dude, hes chill.

Professor Kenz makes Anatomy engaging and manageable. His creative teaching methods, like mnemonics and drawings, really help cement the material. Definitely use Unstuck AI along with the textbook for great prep.

They provide important general knowledge that helps you understand the names, making it easier to identify them. Really helps simplifying and understanding the gist. Eric is an amazing professor! I would 100% take his class again. The class itself has a heavy workload and requires a lot of studying outside of class. However, he makes it very clear what needs to be done for one to succeed. He teaches students how to understand the concepts rather than just memorizing them.

Took him for a blended course, such a great professor, would recommend him to everyone. Took his time during lab to go through lecture materials that were harder to understand. Made class enjoyable and fun. His mnemonics made it easy, he does have a sense of humor, so class is fun. His lecture videos are helpful, but attendance in lab are mandatory

Such an amazing professor! This was my second time taking BIO2300, and he made the class seem so much easier than it felt like the first time. I took this blended, but all lectures are available online and are very helpful. In lab, he takes his time to go over everything we needed to know for the exams and gives pointers to help remember.

Dude's funny, I'm not even gonna lie to y'all. He somehow made smelling cadavers everyday tolerable. Bro's also fair with his exams and gives points back if necessary, so rest assured, the man's got your back. But no offense man, I would've liked if you answered that one whole email I sent you... Either way, 10/10 professor, he's chill for real.

Definitely take Kenz. Especially if you're an older learner. He is easy to work with and is very patient with students. His randomness makes it easy to pay attention, you can get a good laugh out of class. There were alot of old school references (80s kids) which made it fun. This is a HARD class, show up ,pay attention Kenz will help you succeed

I was an international student and had no trouble understanding him. HE IS THE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE ACADEMIC JOURNEY. He cares about you a lot, and on some days, if you're willing, he would stay by the cadaver for up to an hour longer, explaining things to make sure you fully understood the concepts.

Kenz is an amazing professor! Anatomy is NOT easy, but he provides so many tips & tricks to help you remember everything. He is very clear about how you will be graded, and you always know which bones, muscles, structures etc. could be tested and how each will show up on the exam - whether you need to recognize it on a cadaver, image, or a model.

Good professor although he doesn't read emails, brags about not replying to emails and talks a lot about his RMP reviews which I don't mind but is definitely something I've noticed. He is very knowledgeable and knows the human body like the back of his hand. I absolutely enjoyed learning from him.

Professor Kenz took a large volume of complicated material and made it easy to understand. Regardless of the grade, I can confidently say I learned and retained more knowledge than any other class. He's deeply knowledgeable about the human body and the origin of its terms. I would look forward to taking his class again.

This was my second time taking this class and professor Kenz made it much more manageable! It's a hard class with hard material- but Kenz presents in a way that helps the material stick and make sense! His stories and fun comments make the class enjoyable. Definitely take anatomy with Professor Kenz!

I LOVED taking this class. I will say that the material is HEAVY and it feels like it gets heavier for each test. I would recommend watching all the lecture videos MULTIPLE times and checking with the lab book to prepare for tests. He makes it clear what will be on the test and what won't be on the test. Get ahead on studying. Trust me.
