I was worried about the algebra & what not since I never took it in h.s., but there are so many examples in the book & he goes over it so much & gives extra help if needed----that if you fail, you deserve it!!

I found his class very entertaining as far as Math goes. He made it fun and was very helpfull to me!

I've tried taking this class 3 times and get scared and drop before I can finish with him I felt confident doing even the hardest problem but he is a little tricky on the tests he puts problems on there that we have not went over...

His teaching style is clear and he gives lot's of bonus points. He is so good that classes often end early. Loves Snickers, and gives extra credit for them. Take him for all math classes!!!

Great Professor, do all the Homework he assigns and the practice test and you will get an easy A. He prepares you for the test by assigning homework and he collects them all, which forces you to study!! He does have a bit of sarcasm, but I think it's funny!

He was a very interesting teacher. He was very helpful and clear with his teaching methods. And when he was done, he usually let us out early. He was the first math teacher that I actually understood in such a short period of time. I would definantly recommend him to others.

I have noticed that he is comfortable with his job in a way to make you comfortable too. He cares for those who would make an effort and will bend backwards for you. For those that will take his class, you have made the right choice, however, do not slack off. Best professor I had as of yet.

Great teacher. He makes the class fun he does a great job at explaining whats going to b on test. easy A on homework you just have to do it he doesn't even really grade it. and gives out practice tests for every test for 5 bonus points. sometimes lets u turn in corrections 4 10 xtra points. just pay attention & ull get an A.

All you need to do is use the schedule that he created for you and you will pass, hands down. Everything is provided and if you think that he doesn't care about you then you must have done something stupid to have him feel like that. Great teacher and highly recommend him.

I took this class online and Mr. Kraus was quick to help. He answered my questions quickly and clearly. The homework is time consuimg but worth it. It really helps prepare you for the test which are 70% of your grade.

I took the online class. He is very efficient in email correspondence, look for a weekly email. Will reply right away to your emails sent to him. Downfall to this class is a LOT of homework, but this is the best way to learn and get a good grade on exams.

He kept an open line of communication and did weekly updates. He was very understanding if you had something come up and needed a little extra time. You must do the work in this class! If you follow the syllabus you will do great. Awesome professor! I took 2 classes with him and did very well.

Professor Kraus is great! I took two online DEV math courses with him and really enjoyed it. He sent weekly updates, replied to emails very quickly, and was incredibly helpful with any questions one may have. He even saved my final grade by allowing to take the online final after I was unable to take it on campus, he even extended the deadline!

I wish Kraus taught math beyond the DEV level, great to work with, communication is an A+

Prof. Kraus is a great math teacher. I learned more from him during the semester than I had for 5 years before. He makes sure students understand the important information and don't focus too much on things they will not use- he does still go over those things, but he emphasizes the really important concepts in his lectures.

Very clear in lectures. Wants all students to succeed. Lets you know exactly what to expect on the test. Didn't look at the textbook once. For some it may be helpful, but his lectures were more than enough for me. There is a ton of mymathlab homework & quizzes in this course, but that's from the department, not professor. Overall awesome professor

Professor Kraus was a perfect online instructor. He was very responsive to questions and was very specific on his requirements. There was no possible way to misunderstand his instructions and deadlines, unless you just didn't open your emails. He provided a very easy to read syllabus and sent weekly emails checking on progress.

The best math professor I have ever had and one of the top 5 best educators of my whole life! Super funny and makes it really easy to understand. I wish I could take him for every math class for the rest of my time in college.

Kraus is a cool guy and truly wants you to pass! The class by all means is not easy at all and you really need to try and pay attention and be in the class. As long as you participate and try in the class you'll at least past, his quizzes are only 5pts. and they are pretty much the same thing as his test which helps a lot!

Kraus is a substantial math professor to take while on your way up through the chaotic world of mathematics. He refers to methods in the book but applies it in his own notes that can be a little confusing & unfamiliar at first. If you just keep trudging on through his class whilst turning in the physical & online homework on time you'll pass.

Very good professor but you need to show up to pass. Watch videos if you don't understand because sometimes it's hard to understand with him. Very funny and a nice guy.

So I have sucked at math basically always. I'm talking near fail every time. So after being out of school for five years and placing in DEV math, I was super nervous but Kraus's lessons are SUPER clear as are his expectations. I was able to teach myself (online class) what I needed and finished with my FIRST EVER grade A in math. Take his class!

Best math teacher ever! Most things were graded for participation and the tests were just like the study guides. I turned in the wrong thing for the project and he let me turn in the right copy and my grade went from an F to A. Super caring and easy to connect with!

He explains the math problems very well and he makes a lot of jokes. He is a good professor and he uses the questions from his quizzes in his exams - make you don't miss class and you take good notes because if you do those two things, you'll definitely pass.

I hate math, but I loved Eric Kraus's teaching style. We had to do homework which was scanned in so that he could see the work we were doing. He gave great feedback on that work. He makes videos of working through the exam review questions. He is very funny, very quick with responses, makes math easy to understand! Taking another class with him!

the best math prof since Ive had, hands down. if youre taking this online save yourself the extra money & dont get the workbook. he posts the sheet online. his test reviews are exactly the test but with different scenarios. he really wants you to learn so he cares for you to do well!

I absolutely loved Kraus. I took him first for Business Analysis and made sure to take him for Business Calculus. If you participate he will love you, that's all he wants. He is hilarious, and such a good teacher. Super down to earth and will help you if you need it. I cannot speak higher of any professor that I have had here. TAKE HIM!!!

Professor Kraus was amazing. I have never liked any mathematics course from K-12. I always struggled until this course. Prof. Kraus made everything easy to understand and answered any questions I had about the course. If you are scared to take the course, don't be. I wish Professor Kraus taught other courses. I enjoyed his teaching method.

I've had Kraus as my professor for two different classes and loved him each time. He has a particular sense of humor but as long as you don't have a chip on your shoulder and are a respectful student that works hard you will do well in his class!

Great lectures, gives paper handout homework every class that is due the next class period, he goes over most, if not all, of the answers in class. Has helpful emails prior to quizzes with examples. Has great study guides and gives extra credit for joining zoom meetings. Only reason you need textbook is for online hw. Can tell he enjoys his job.

Prof. Kraus is amazing!! He gives easy-to-understand lectures and goes over most of the homework in class. He has a particular sense of humor that is just hilarious and it makes the class both interesting and enjoyable. You can tell that Kraus truly wants to help you pass his class. He was a good professor and was always accessible outside of class. I understood most of the concepts and he was always there to help. This is not a class that you can miss, you learn a lot in one class. He was a quick grader as well and always willing to explain your grade to you. He was very passionate about his subject and liked to play around.

Eric gives more supplemental materials than most math professors I've had. He does go rather quickly through the notes but will go back if you ask. He had no problem explaining why something was graded a certain way and allows you to practice for more difficult professors. He grades on the process of problem solving rather than actual answers.

Mr. Kraus was the best professor I have ever had! He really cares and gives plenty of opportunities to succeed! He does test prep zoom calls which help a lot! His review sheets are very similar to his tests! Gives tons of extra credit! Plus he makes math fun which is something I never say. There is literally nothing bad about him!

I took Mr Kraus for pre-calculus in 2023. At first I was a bit nervous about how difficult the class was going to be but after the first week or two it became clear that I found a good professor.
