this prof is a high school prof not a college prof.his class is okay but he gives a lot of online homework as if we taking an online class.pls dont take him for any math class.you will just waist your time and wouldn't learn anything

This prof doesn't know what he's teaching. He gives a lot of homework. He doesn't teach anything in class and waste time on one or two homework problems. i don't know about other classes but he's not a good teach for any CALCULUS class. Never take him for any CALCULUS class and i hope he wouldn't get any calculus class to teach again in his life

If you are not a math genius just don't take him. Gives LOTS of homework. He knows calculus, but can't explain anything; classes are waste of time. I'm not usually complaining; I expected calculus to be hard, but this guy makes it much more harder than it is. It was tough.

Eric is okay when he introduce himself but when he got into the math stuff he sort of wasn't good at it that much since he doesn't explain much. As for homework its online and hard since like I said its just he really didn't explain how to do this and this. I guess he is also boring you can say.

I recommend you not to take his class if you have another option because he is unorganized, rely on software called Aleks and don't give extra materials, test questions are almost same number with different operation which is confusing, he don't reply email even though he see it. last but not least his method of teaching is unclear.

Eric is just really confusing the way he teaches and not only that as for homework its mostly like online and depends on the day there will also be a take home quiz which is also homework. Eric just really need to record himself teaching the class and see how he needs to improve on teaching because its so confusing the way he teaches.

The worst math teacher you could possibly have for foundational math.

The worst professor anyone could ever have. How is it possible for a HIGH SCORE TO NOT BOOST UP YOUR GRADE, but for a low score to mess up your grade for the whole class. He does not teach, all he does is gives homework online and make you watch videos online in order for you to try to understand what the lesson is about. Don't take his class!!!

Uses Mymathlab for work. Doesn't assign "homework", uses the "Study plan" which takes time. If you don't pass on test/quiz it resets the entire chapter. You have to constantly redo old work leaving you behind. THIS IS YOUR GRADE! Don't take him unless your confident in math. Wastes class time. Also hes very boring and dry even by math standards.

Eric just really not good at teaching math and needs to work on his teaching method since it clearly is awful. Homework online and quiz's are also take home count as homework. Not really good at teaching math like he really is not and its a shame. I just suggest he fix his teaching method since its awful or just not teach college math at all.

I wouldn't recommend students who really need to get a good grade in math. He doesn't teach class, but when you need help and you have to raise your hand ask for it. To be honest, I feel like I wasted my time and money on this class. So disappointed!!!!!!!

Eric shouldn't be called a professor at all since all he does is just uses math programs like my math lab or Aleks as well then throw some modified YouTube videos that just makes him lazy and for us students waste of money and a bad report because of his non exist teaching method.

Eric needs to have himself sign up for a course call teaching for teachers since clearly he can't teach at all since he just rely on programs and videos which for us students its a waste of time and money

I don't recommend this teacher as he does not simply teach and only uses ALEKS which can be difficult to use and I hated the program so much. Please don't take this teacher and take someone else in the Fall!

Sets around 25 edpuzzle videos a week and tested through Canvas weekly, this course would be easy if it was the only one I was taking but taking this with three others is impossible.

Way too much homework. Okay if this is your only class but with 3 other classes it's impossible. Avoid taking his class. Ed puzzle 25+ videos a week and tests every week.

Alright to be clear Eric should really lose his teaching license and it's a shame to say it because he clearly can't teach and when he tries it sounds like he saying you should know this like excuse me this is like learning a new language then using a paintbrush to paint the wall. At first, I didn't believe Eric's bad reviews were true, but after a few classes it's all makes sense why he is simply called "very awful" and this is just a disgrace on CCP's part for keeping him since they making students like myself and later waste their FAFSA or out of pocket for basically you will teach yourself from this guy.

Professionalism and consistency are two things missing in this professors course. The level of seriousness is missing while teaching.

He assigns multiple ed puzzle videos and then expects you to take a test every time in class. He treats you like you're a child. He is rude. He has us work on 1 problem for a whole hour. His class is just a waste of time and money. I did not learn anything while in his class. I think he is better off being a high school teacher. I rate him 0/10.

I took this professor and he made me want to drop out of college. Because his method of teaching is horrible. He assigns several hours of videos a week along with Alexs puzzles. if you are taking other courses besides this one good luck and be prepared to have your semester dominated by math Home work. if you miss one assignment drops severely

He was very rude he kept suggesting I drop the class he told me he knew people with learning disabilities that knew the math, what was my excuse he canceled every-time we had a one on one meeting. I would take his class if it was free I felt like he treated me different than others.

The bad reviews are true to this professor and it's a shame how CCP still allows this guy to " teach" even though he isn't really " teaching" instead this guy should loose his math certfication and math degree because he simply can't help the class to understand the math material and that is bad for us students who is paying or FASFA is for this.

This professor is so unprofessional it don't take his class & SAVE YOUR GPA GUYSS this man gives out 20 ed puzzles every week and wants you to learn from it plus lectures take about 20 minutes and he makes you do 40 flashcards every week just to not have them on the exam and also he loves giving pop quizzes for someone who doesn't teach.

Horrible professor bad at teaching his class

please listen to the reviews. legit the worst professor. he's unhelpful and only suggests tutoring. weekly 40-60 homework questions, quiz, and discussion. all with camera and microphone required. no notes, no calculator. requires in person final for ONLINE class and threatens failure if you cant attend like im taking an online class for a reason.

I thought his class would be manageable. It's not you'll have assignments daily and quizzes weekly. He doesn't teach the material himself it's all through Pearson THE WORST. You take your final IN PERSON you'll have 2 midterms with quizzes due the same week. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR GPA!! Doesn't help just recommends a tutor too.

I asked professor for help multiple times, and was in risk of failing, I was always told to refer to tutoring, but when I waited over 30 minutes for a tutor to pop up, and no one ever did, and told the teacher. With everything going on, a teacher supposed to guide us,help us learn, especially when majority of students are struggling w/ grades.

so much testing/homework without adequate teaching or material to learn from. gives a few videos for you to figure out the material on your own. do not recommend.

There's a lot of tests and quizzes given without any real help, and he doesn't give out extra credit at all.

Rather you are using FASFA or not to the student who is reading this review I am telling save your time and money. The reason for not saying " Professor" because he doesn't deserve the title instead his new title is "Check collector". If you're still not convince then I dare you to sign up and see will you withdrawl from him on the withdrawl date.

Too much homework with very little understanding. The class is difficult to follow, and the teaching style and asynchronous format make it hard to learn the material.

I will say this and this only.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL! His lectures Made no sense. The way his video lessons of homework made absolutely no sense. The Final was deplorable. I learned my lesson and I would never take his class again EVER! so beware of him.

He doesn't teach you anything, he uploads videos to “teach you” then gives you assignments to complete. The workload is heavy and the final exam is even worse. It's 35% of your grade so if by the time you take the final if you don't have an A or a high b you'll most definitely fail. Online class but final is in person.Doesn't give you extra credit
