You dont need a book, just lecture notes, no reading at all, just study your notes and try to show up for class. Very helpful.

He's really EASY, but sssoooo boring. I took a morning class, so i slept, and took a tape recorder. His tests are straight from lecture notes. DONT GET THE BOOK, never EVER use it. His study guides are exactly what is on the study guide. Promptly replies to e-mails. Very Easy class

He is very easy, do not even buy the book because everything you would need to know would be in your daily notes. His test are easy too but you need to review the study guides.

Take this guy!!!!!!! He is unbelivably easy and so easy to understand. I was so happy to get an "A" in his class. I told my cousin stretch to take this class with this teacher! I guarantee you will get a good grade in his class, so don't miss an opportunity to take it with him!

It's true you don't need the book, and if you pay attention to what is in the board you will easily get the A. Study the CASES though!

Very Easy especially if you dont pay attention. I took him my senior year showed up to class like 7 times and never opened the book and studied maybe once and passed with a C which was my goal since i like slacking. Slackers Take him!!

I have Dr. Rader currently, and he's great. I hate politics/politicans and he has made me want to be more involved to try and change things for the better. Study notes well and cases. Always say your opinion..he enjoys discussing.

I learned alot in his class. He's a really nice guy and really into what he's teaching. He gives alot of notes, but his tests are directly from them. The only thing negative about his class was that his lecture's a little dry, but I would definatly recommend him.

Whoah, was this guy boring! He was my very first college teacher and I took him while I was in highschool. I didnt do too well on his tests (highest grade:B) butsomehow I got an A in the class. I guess he secretlycurves and doesn't like 2 tell anyone. Me and my friends alwayspassed notes in frontof his faceduringclass, u could tellhe got annoyed. :

He is a really nice teacher, but his lectures sometimes get boring when you don't like the topic. He's still easy, and his tests are all from the notes and study guide. Plus, he drops the lowest grade on tests. One thing that I didn't like is his project: political action: attend a convention,sign up people to vote, or work for a candidate.

Great Teacher, knows what he's talking about. His class is REALLY boring though but it's very important that you attend to do well on the tests. Don't bother buying the text book becuase everything you need is in your notes. Gives very good notes. I got an A! Highly recommended!

This teacher is sooo easy and you can miss class like 6 times and still get an A. just take notes and youll be fine.

Boring but EASY. Just dont take him early in the morning. No homework, barely need the book.. just split it with a friend. 1 paper, 4 tests, and he drops one of the tests! He gives study guides for each test, so just show up to lectures and take good notes. He answers any questions. His grading scale is easy too... 90-100 is an A :)

I was interested in the topic already, but not very knowledgeable. In fact, I was nervous that I would struggle with it, but Eric R. was patient to explain the material, as well as, concerned that we understood it and could see how beneficial it is to us personally.

Eric's class lectures were interesting to me & he supplemented it with actively highlighting the essence of the topic,so the concepts would stand out as opposed to rote memorization.I feel motivated from this class that perhaps I can make a difference in the community.I suggest that those that find it boring,elevate brain activity above an amoeba.

He is a really really great teacher. His tests are soooo easy. But u have to go to class and take a lot of notes. Thats all u do all hour is take notes. and its sooooooooooo boring. U never use the book so dont even bother buying it. Overall great teacher and u learn a lot. I got an A!! =)

Mr Rader is boring as hell, but his class is also very easy. To get an A in his class just do the following: 1.Take notes 2.Study the notes 3.Profit, profit is the A(south park reference people)The book is pretty useless so don't buy that or you will waste your money.

He is a very nice professor, but he is very boring. He lectures for the whole class period he does not have any sense of humor just lectures away, he did not take attendance, but other then boring lectures he is very very easy. If you show up to class everyday and take notes do not buy the book!

i was in his class winter 2008. hes really a nice teacher, hes helpful, and understanding, but he dosent give makeup tests.. if u really pay attention at class and u take good notes of what he says, thats all what u need to focus on for tests..good luck

Highly recommend! Interesting class, requires you to think, papers are not complicated to understand as to what he wants from you, just need a little thought processing and some originality or at least effort. I enjoyed his class!

This was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken, although he is very boring and lectures the whole hour you will learn a thing or two out of this class. Would recommend!

Nothing but power point notes and him talking the whole class period, He gives all the projects day one. Thats a plus. He has you read mainly 10 pages before the next class. Pretty easy. The tests are kinda confusing. All I got to say is good luck.

Very easily understood subject. He only tests on what he goes through in class, so the book is sometimes useless, but if you read it even a little you'll probably get an A. I honestly can't see how anyone would have a problem with him, his class is simply too easy to get a bad grade, unless you don't belong in college.

I did get an A in his class but he is seriously the most boring teacher. I never have complained about teachers, I love school, but he needs something other than power points. He bores you to sleep then yells at you for sleeping! I did not use my book at all, just took all of the notes in class. Take every extra credit opputunity he offers.

Took this class online. Chapter readings, essays & discussion boards are a must if you want to pass. Great instructor knows his stuff and is very helpful. Tests are pretty hard, but if you read the chapters you'll do well.

VERY nice teacher. I have him now for POLS131 online and also had him for POLS155 online too. Class is very easy to follow, DB and essay every week and a few exams (3-4) in the semester. Dbs and essays are very easy, usually opinionated backed up by facts from the reading. Exams can be hard, so buy the book and follow the readings.

Good teacher.Very knowledgeable. I took his POL131 class online. Weekly assignments are pretty easy but the exams can be hard. Reading the text and studying IS A MUST if you want a good grade. A little strict but fair.

I took the class online. Everything was easy except for the tests. you needed to know lots of details. Plus the glossary in the back of the book is pretty much useless. There were lots of questions that were asked where the subject was not in the glossary. Read everything and study a chapter a day even if you have moved to the next.

I really don't understand why students have trouble with this class. It's easy to get a good grade, its like a high school class. Take notes and study them and you easily pass. You also have a few papers to write. Just be prepared to be bored.

Very good teacher. Fair grading. Easy tests. I knew nothing about politics before taking this. Not even what "constitution" meant. The course is too easy. I regret buying the book. All I did was take notes all semester and study them for the test. They proved to be more than enough. Only problem is I got so darn bored.

The best thing about him is that he doesnt follow PowerPoints or slides. HE ACTUALLY WRITES HIS OWN NOTES ON THE BOARD! The notes are really clear and helpful. The 4 exams and final come with great study guides that basically are the test!

He keeps you the full time and can be somewhat monotone. Tests are pretty simple; multiple choice and a few simple short answer questions. He really knows what he's talking about! Seems like he enjoys what he teaches! Wish all my teachers were as clear as he was.

Mr. Rader is amazing! He's very clear in his lectures and his tests are very simple. He provides scantrons for you and there is usually some fairly easy short answer questions. He is very strict on no cell phones out during class and he keeps you the entire time. He is also very strict on attendance. I would definitely take him again.

Really good teacher. Cool guy and is knowledgeable on the material that it honestly surprised me. Interesting lectures and not much homework aside from reading from the book.

He was an amazing professor, kept me interested in the basics of political science. He writes notes on the board and gives a review sheet for each test so you know what to study. He gives 4 tests and drops your lowest grade. Assigns 2 papers that are fairly simple if you put effort and time into it. I enjoyed this class.

Awesome teacher. He is very helpful with his review sheets which are very similar to the tests. I barley ever studied and just paid attention to his lecture and still got an A. He is open to questions and is a great guy overall. I reccomend him :)

I took this class online, and it was not a lot of work at all. Each week you read a short chapter, and post two discussion board posts in response to a topic in each chapter. Some weeks there are 200 word critical thinking essays, but they are not common. Did not prepare well for the tests however.

he is an amazing teacher. yes he does not like phones to be out and will let you know but he is amazing at lectures. i usually text poorly but have gotten A's on all of them. im also not the best paper writer but got A's on both. he does give homework, but it is only to read a couple pages and he emails them to you. textbook needed. But Amazing guy

Professor Rader is a very fair grader with the group posts. His tests are 80 multiple choice in 1.5 hours. That was the most challenging for sure, if you don't know the material in depth you are in for a struggle. Make sure you participate, ask questions and STUDY

The best of the best. Mr Rader is the best professor i have ever had. He explains everything. He makes you understand the material in the class. The exams are easy if you studied. There are two papers in his class, and they are both easy if you follow the instructions. I recommended him to every student in this college. (W.G)

I took Professor Raders online class and it was extremely easy! One discussion board each week with 2 responses to classmates, 400 word critical thinking only 3 times a semester, and mid term. Chill class easy A if you log in and do the work. Responds to emails very fast!

This is by far one of the best professors I've had. His lectures are very good and he's very explicit on what we need to know for the tests and quizzes. You'd this class if you have an interest in government.

Hes extremely knowledgeable about political science and government. Hes clear with whats to be expected and the work load is very easy to handle!

He is good, his class is easy online. Just 2 discussion board posts a week and the occasional critical thinking writing/exam. My only issue with his class is his preparation for exams. You get little to none, the work he assigns won't really help you get an A its all independent work. But he's overall good and understanding and I would recommend.

I was very worried about taking professor Rader this semester, because of the previous ratings, however, he turned out to be a very good profesor. He is very knowledgable and very helpful. I just wish he gave a study guide on what will be on the test, he only gives key words. Test are heavy on material, a lot of it is from the book.

The majority of the work is based around discussion boards with no minimum word requirement. I always got good feedback when help was needed. The lowest test grade I got was a B, but you will need to study the material to pass, there's not a lot of course hero to save you here. Just don't slack and you'll pass with an A. He's a cool guy.

I recommend taking him, he is an amazing professor and knows what he's doing. He doesn't stuff you with unnecessary information, however, you have to work in his class to receive the grade. Take him!

He's a real sweetheart. The only reason I didn't get an A was that I missed a test (which he let me retake).. I took this course in the summer and it really wasn't too much work.. discussion board posts, not even every week, three essays (literally just a paragraph about the post) and 3 exams which if you read the chapters is a piece of cake.

Mr. Radar is a good teacher and very understanding. He gives clear instructions as well as letting you know the due dates of assignments on time. He doesnt change anything without giving notice first. Just make sure you read the sections when assigned because the exams can be tough.

u get 3 essays which are easy but his exams are so hard even reading the chapters didnt help. Other then that the discussion boards and essays are easy.

He is a great and easy teacher. But takes FOREVER to respond to emails.
