Dr Roberts is awesome. I've taken bio before so it was a BREEZE, but even for 1st timers I know it'd be easy. He's so helpful and clear..I've had professors MUCH worse. Makes goofy jokes but he's wicked nice so laugh along. Show up, take his lab section and you'll do awesome..otherwise that class prob isnt for you.

The most enthusiastic, nice professor ive ever had. Loves what he teaches and wants you to love it as well. Makes class interesting and worth going to. Tests are fairly clear and easy if you study. Awesome Guy, i'd take him again

I was told that 65% of students who take this class fail. I was so nervous going into the class. He was so welcoming and encouraging and he really cared if you personally understood the information/ material. He is a really great guy! I worked really hard in lecture and in lab and I recieved an A. He is a wonderful teacher. I recommend him to all !

Professor Roberts is super nice, I loved this class. He is very fair when it comes to grading. He is willing to help you. He goes out of his way to make you understand the concepts he's teaching. I really enjoyed his class. If you take down the notes, study, you will do fine~trust me! (too bad hes not teaching micro ;)

Easy professor since he posts all the notes on WebCT.U dont have to come to class and he tells you what to know on the test.I did not get an A because I registered late and was so busy during the semester.If you follow what he says even if u have to read in details the course, u will do well.I am an accounting major but enjoyed the class.

I was in his 108 biology and he is amazing. I always hated biology but roberts is great! he is clear about everything and really enjoys teaching. He doesn't take attendance and puts all his notes on blackboard but I still recommend you go to class.

Dr. Roberts is the most helpful Biology professor at Rhode Island College. There is no other professor here that can tell you how fun Biology is other than him. He is very helpful to ANYONE that needs help. This is my second time having to take it and I am at a B right now. He is the man. Get him for LAB AND LECTURE.

Professor Roberts is always willing to meet and help students. He goes over the material clearly and thoroughly. The exams are fair with no surprises. Notes are online so you can actually listen and learn to lectures without having to copy tedious words from the board. I really appreciated everything about this professor. We need more like him.

Best teacher ever. Wish there was more like him. He loves his job, and makes everyone enjoy biology. Tests aren't hard.. and very to the point. Studying is mandatory though. You won't get through this class without looking at your notes he gives you.

Professor Roberts is EASILY the best professor at RIC. He cares a ton about his students and is extremely helpful and interested in all of his students' education. As long as you attend class and ask questions when necessary, you will have no problem getting an a A. He is such a great guy, I have nothing but compliments for him and this class.

One of the few excellent professors at RIC! He goes out of his way to help everyone and make it so they suceed! I had other things going on which is why I recieved a C- but otherwise I would have recieved a better grade! His exams are on the harder side but still very possible! If you have the chance to take his class THEN DO IT You WONT regret it!

So far Dr. Roberts is amazing! He is the best science professor I've had in my college career to date. He is informative and VERY helpful! go to class but, if you don't he posts the notes online. There are 5 quizzes, 3 exams, and about 5 Blackboard quizzes. I garentee if you take Dr. Roberts you will not be disappointed.

Although the class can cause you to yawn on some of the dryer topics, but what do you expect from an hour and a half lecture. He really is a fun guy and his tests and quizzes are very reasonable!

I had never had a strong background in biology, and Dr.Roberts cleared up all my confusion. He comes to work full of passion and excitement for biology. His enthusiasm made me want to come to class, and made me want to pay attention. He is a fair grader, drops the lowest quiz grade, and posts notes on line. Take Roberts and you won't regret it!

Great bio professor. Make the subject seem easy. Tests were pretty easy as long as you attended class and took notes. He explained hard concepts very well and made it easy to understand. He has a passion for the subject and it shows. Super nice guy too. Highly recommended.

He is an amazing professor, very nice and great at teaching the material. He has a slight southern accent which makes him great to listen to and really loves the subject he is teaching. Class is not hard there are no homework assignments, only a few online quizzes, gives a few test but lets you cross one out, don't have to read the book either

Eric Roberts is my favorite professor at RIC. i took him for 108, he makes sure he's straight forward and to the point with his notes. All notes are posted on blackboard, so if you must miss a class you can find them online. He also replaces 1 exam score if you score higher on the final, which helps everyone a lot. Take him!!!

Love Dr Roberts He is so funny and makes Biology fun and easy to understand. There's 5 online and in class quizzes along with 3 exams I ended up getting 100s on all of them which was surprising to me because I did horrible in bio in High school If you have to take bio 108 definitely take him especially if your a nursing student

Dr. Roberts is AMAZING! He is a great lab and lecture professor. In lab he gives weekly quizzes based off of the previous week's lab. The quizzes aren't too bad if you study, although sometimes the wording of questions can be a bit tricky. Lecture wise, he gave about 5 quizzes and 2 exams. The quizzes and tests aren't too bad as long as you study.

Professor Roberts is an amazing professor. He is very passionate about botany and everything he teaches and tries to get the students just as excited. There were a few assignments in lecture and a few assignments in lab. Quizzes often, but lets you know what the material is on and also open note blackboard quizzes to prepare you. Deff take again.

Eric Roberts is the best possible professor to have for an introductory biology lecture course. I 10/10 recommend him. Eric is the best teacher I've ever had. He makes biology make sense and is always available for clarification. Very understanding, works well with students on the spectrum and always humorous. Eric posts blackboard quizzes to prepare for upcoming quizzes and is very organized when it comes to grades and overall the process of his lectures.

Professor Roberts is so good at his job and teaching the material. In the beginging of the semester I was failing his course. However, I started going to his office hours for extra help before tests and quizzes and it would help dramaticaly. I ended up passing with a awesome grade. Not only that I felt like I actaully learned so much.

The tests and quizzes he gives are extremely specific and comprehension based so memorizing facts wont help. All the questions are based directly from his lectures so attendance is mandatory. He makes learning biology interesting by connecting it to real-world examples that are easier to understand. You'll only get a good grade if you put in work

Full transparency I am an art education major who ended up in this course for science students just to satisfy the requirement. That being said, he presented the material in a very digestible manner. He had lots of engaging stories and anecdotes that connected to the content. Has a clear love for all things biology !

Dr. Roberts is my advisor and my 354 professor. He's one of the sweetest teachers I've had, and he's active and engaged in class. He really cares about what he's teaching and makes lectures fun and easy to listen to. I appreciate that it's okay to be wrong when asked something - he makes it feel like it's ok to participate even if you're unsure.
