My favorite professor. He is very clear and no-nonsense. But you should definitely do the homeworks and follow his directions. Coming to his class is always a pleasure.

He is a very good teacher, if you pay attention in his class. He goes over the class work several times before moving onto the next section. Though there is one downside to his class, he is never out.

Comes prepared to teach. Sometimes gets to involved with students who doing outstanding work and neglects the average ones. Will occasionally criticize students or make fun of them if he thinks you should know what your doing.

Tell him you like the yankees and he will love you. easy to change class conversation to sports. very nice guy but dont give him a hard time as he might overeact.

He has favorites, especially those who take him a few semestrs - they get A's easily, even if they don't do really well on exams or even when they missed an exam. He is a good teacher but an unfair grader. Remember exactly how and what he does on the board, not how it is done in the book, otherwise he takes points off for that. Do H/W.

Definitely the best Accounting Prof at KBCC. He's tough but you'll learn the most with him.

He's a great prof, you will def. learn a lot with him. Be sure to do all his hw's, you learn more that way and also he checks it everyday. I came into ACCT 12 not knowing much because of a bs prof I had for acct 11, but I learned a lot with him and I got an A. He has favorites though, if you are smart and does well on tests, he'll like you.

had him for eco and acc. He's a good prof, teaches well and goes over hw in class. Test wise he will not correct mistakes in grading even when it is obvious he rushed through grading and this happens very frequently. His favorites seem to suffer less from this, and they always had better grades.

He's allright.. not too bad.. He gives good notes, and doesnt really give a crap about your attendance. Just dont get on his bad side. All i can say is, he doesnt give anything for free, you gotta work your ass off for everything in his class. He gave my friend a D, i guess he wont have anything good to say about him.

rothenburg is the man go to class participate and you will have an easy B if u do well on the tests an A if u have the chance take him for everything hes always open for advice strongly recomend

one of the easiest professors i ever had. didnt like me though,but i managed to get an A+ anyway. copy all the notes on the board and keep them in a safe place, and you'll ace his tests, which are multiple choice and pretty much self-explanatory. plan to take him over and over and over. & if ur one of his favs, you'll def do well.

Formula for success: Attend every class and take clear notes. Assigns homework but doesnt collects it. Instead goes around the whole classroom and goes over it. Uses a lot of examples from the textbook.

I took him for ACC 11, ACC 21 & 22. His teaching is very understandable, copy his notes and do his hw. His exams are very tricky that's what I hate the most about him. I got a 2 C+ and a B for his classes. His notes doesn't really related to his exams (only the entries related most of the times) so you have to think about it which answer to pick.

Very knowledgeable and helpful, but occasionally not clear in subjects. Just pay extra attention and you can ace this class. Only complains I have is receiving back test. Never give me the test question, only the scantron and ledger, have to go to his office and ask for the test question every time to see what I got wrong.

He really knows his stuff and will teach you everything he knows ; his warm, open minded, patient man. Believe me, he is the best accounting professor that you'll come across in this school. I've taken him for Accounting 12 & now finished Accounting 21, I'll be taking him in my final semester for accounting 22, because he is just that great! Taking a different professor just doesn't make sense. Oh and he's pretty funny to top off being a great prof!

I took Prof Rothenburg for ACC 11 & 12. He has a clear grading criteria. You pass all 3 exams, you pass the class. He gives extra credits if you're always in class and go for tutoring(which you don't need). He gives homeworks but checks them as a class so everyone can participate. Easy "A".

Professor Rothenburg is very flexible and understanding. He will explain the same concept in different ways until everyone understands. He answers all questions and recognizes hard work outside of the classroom. My only regret was not taking every Accounting and Economics course with him because I would have learned so much.

Pro Eric Rothenburg is a amazing pro You will learn in his class. If you found accounting 1100 easy or understand it, 1200 will be a walk in the park with him. You are lucky if you have an opportunity to take Eric Rothenburg's class. He is very professional, never gets off topic. Show up on time, study his notes and you'll pass. If you show up 10 min late for the exam, he won't let you take it. Every student participates in class , which I find as one of the very effective methods to learn a material.

Best accounting professor

He did not really know how to use BB and in order to pass his online course you really have to teach yourself the concepts and terms. He goes over the chapters in his zoom meetings but my attention span could never. There are quizzes and homeworks for each chapter and 3 exams in total. Overall, he is sweet and caring. You will pass easily.

I love this Professor so much. He is super sweet. GUYS go to his OFFICE HOURS, he literally goes over the homework,quiz,test and final. He literally gives you the answers but it will be different numbers when you take the test. It doesn't matter because the formula is all you need. His teaching strategy makes you remember everything!

Professor Rothenburg's course turns an extremely difficult subject into one that's very doable. He is very engaging with his office hours and truly helps students learn, and all of the online lessons are comprehensive and build upon one another.
