This a hard class!!! He gives you points if you make an attempt to answer the question. He lets you use cheat sheets for the test. He gives you very very fair grades!!! If you take him, just go everyday day, you're guaranteed to pass.

Mr. Wildman is AWESOME! He clarifies everything and ensures everyone understands the material. he is very fair with his grading and offers plenty of extra credit opportunities. He prepares the class extremely well for his exams.I have never liked math, but I enjoyed this class very much!

The greatest. I'll never forget him. He teaches beyond math. He won't move on until everyone has gotten it. He uses real life applications, he's funny and I believe he genuinely cares for his students. Take him you won't regret it. Make no mistakes about it - you will be tested.

WONDERFUL Teacher! Very easy to understand, you do work and take tests in class. but he well work with you if you don't understand. If you don't pass the test grades don't get scared, the class grades are on a point scale. with that anyone can do well in the class.

An easy and understnadable statistics teacher. He makes class fun with his unique examples. Statistic is NOT hard with Wildman. Attempt all questions on test. Scored an 88 but tried for an A.

Those aren't cheat sheets he lets you use on tests. They are called "Resource Guides." He is very kind hearted and makes the class an enjoyable experience. It was one of the few classes I actually looked forward to attending. Recommended.

Never thought I would take Stats 2, since I hated Stats 1. I highly recommend prof Wildman. The entire semester is on confidence intervals & hypoth. testing. He is a very nice professor, very fun, & treats every student w/ respect. You'll enjoy his class!

One of my first classes at UH-D, I've always hated math, but Prof. Wildman made the class interesting and enjoyable. I should have done better in the class, but it was totally on me. He's a great instructor. Highly Recommended.

He gives you credit for everything you do. He loves sharing his knowledge, although he complains about teaching. I think he wants additional rewards, more children perhaps. I learned a lot about a difficult disciplline. I received a good grade.

What a teacher!!! This man was great. I totally hate any kind of math and really dreaded having to take a math course but he made it so enjoyable that I am considering taking another math class. He works several problems for you answers any questions and just gives as much help as he possibly can. I recommend him for all students!! I got an "A".

Easily my easiest class last semester. The prof. is very clear on what the test requirements are and he covers ever topic before the test date. He is very funny and keeps the class entertained. As long as you show up and take some notes and have some interest, you will have a fun time and an A.

Wildman is a genuinely concerned teacher. He cares if you pass or not but only if you do. One cool thing about him, I think, is he makes analogies between English and Math. I think that is very smart because most people are good at one subject or the other.

He is the BEST! I agree with the comments below. I also took him for Summer I and I passed with a B. I don't like math, but he did make the class interesting and easier to understand Stats. I enjoyed his class and will definitely take him again for Stats 3310. And yes, he is always happy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Dr. Wildman is a very interesting person. He makes math a subject to enjoy and gives you a different look at numbers. If you do homework that is assigned, ask questions, and pay attention in class you will get a good grade - an "A" is what I hope for.

Took Wildman for STAT 3309. He is an easy going and friendly prof, but felt like he didn't cover the material as clearly as I would have liked. Also found his lectures didn't always agree with how the text covered the subject which was confusing. Nice guy, easy to approach, but don't feel like I learned the material well.

I am taking Stats this semester with Mr. Wildman and we already had the first test. He is an excellent professor. I wish my marketing professor would sit in his class so she can learn how to stay focused on the subject.

Took in the summer. 3 Test and a Final. For this class it was a little difficult since you didnt know what to expect on the test. Sometimes he included stuff from the old material on new test that is not relevant to new material. Gave One Extra Credit Assignment. Overall ok.

Funny and chatty professor, but I really wish he had spent more time explaining steps. When you have had Mr. Pete Gomez as a Math professor it is hard to find an equal. Mr. Wildman was good, but he skipped steps in his examples which you would have to spend a lot of time deducing on your own. Good, but no Pete Gomez.

Mr.Wildman is a very great teacher and is willing to help out any students that comes to him for help. Just show effort in the class and you will pass. All he wants to see is that your trying your best. Overall I would recommend him to everyone.

Professor Wildman is one of the best math professors at the university. Likeable, easy going, fair, wants students to succeed, encouraging, great personality and in my opinion is 100X better than Gomez. I had Gomez spring 2010 and hated it. Took Wildman summer 2010 and wished I never wasted my time on Gomez.

Mr. Wildman is really cool. He's very smart and talks about a lot of cool subjects like theoretical physics and computer science. He teaches math very well as I made an A without doing any homework. This is a teacher I am going to be telling all my friends to take for math classes!!

great professor, incredibly smart guy and very passionate of what he teaches. he's always willing to help you out and encourages students to ask questions. it is a bit difficult to take notes in his class. just be sure to show up everyday for lecture notes bc the book is completely useless(not his fault).

This was my first math class in 8 years and I was extremely nervous because I had forgotten EVERYTHING from HS. But he broke it down so the problems were easy to get - AND he grades your work/effort..Not just whether the answer is right or wrong. I LOVED HIM and will take him for as many classes as I can. He is the best math teacher I've ever had.

Dr. Wildman is the best math teacher I have had since high school! he doesn't give homework, just practice problems and a few short take home quizzes. DO study and ask questions! class is very enjoyable and he stays on topic with a few short and funny jokes sprinkled in. he is a VERY clear and gives great notes and he's ALWAYS helpful. TAKE HIM!

Mr. Eric Wildman is a very awesome instructor with a wonderful spirit. His lectures are great and to the point. He will also break them down to help you understand it more. I recommend everyone to take his class. He doesn't require MyMathLab but you will need your book for this class. Very helpful and an awesome guy.

Just make sure you complete your MathLabs and its an easy A.

I was nervous about an online statistics course but Prof Wildman's course was much easier than I expected. It's NOTHING like the statistics taken in Finite Math. This stuff is applicable to the real world. Wildman has few exams (4 i think it was) and the review for the final was very accurate (you still have to study it carefully though). Take him.

one of the best math professor I have taken if not the best, from day one he makes sure to explain his grading criteria he does everything in his hands to make sure that not only you pass but you learn.

He is an awesome teacher! he replaces your lowest test grade by your quiz average (most quizzes are take home) tests are not multiple choice. No mandatory hw (optional) if you're lucky he might give you a take home exam. I learned a lot from him and he is the reason why I love math so much.

Eric Wildman is the kindest processor you could ever find- you can tell this man has a nice heart. 3 tests- no multiple choice, a final, and homework. Each worth 100 points. You WILL have to buy MYMATHLAB, the homework is only accessible there. This class was easy. The lowest grade I made was a high 80 & the final replaced that with an A. Take him

He explains things in a way that makes it easy to understand. He is entertaining and humorous so it makes the class not so daunting as it could be. He is willing to help & will explain it until you understand.

Dr. Wildman is so compassionate about stats. Pay close attention to his lectures. The quizzes and exams are exactly what he teaches. By far the best professor at UHD. 3 test, quizes and a final. You don't need the book, just study the example problems and notes. Did not study much, and I didn't stress. His lectures are amazing, and you actually learn the material. I definitely recommend!!
