Prof. Perez is one of my favorite teachers, he really cares about his students and will do whatever he can to help you understand the material. He is not an easy A ok... if you're looking for a free ride through college then go take someone else. He gives practice tests and will curve test grades. Take him, if you really want to learn!

He speaks very clearly and explains everything thoroughly. He may be a little fast, but he is willing to help any student who works hard for their grade. It is best to pay attention and to not be lazy.

Great professor! other than the fact that he has a fast spanish accent, he's excellent with explaining, always willing to help, he really cares that his students understand the work and he interacts well with students in class, he also does well with relating the work to the real life so that its esy to understand.

i really wasn't interested at first, but now i am. he simplifies his lectures so their easier to understand. he's very attractive by the way ;)

Professor Perez is my best Professor so far, he explain the material very clearly and you can ask him anything that relates to the class. I pass with an A take him I really Recommended!!

Great Professor! Makes class very interesting and clear. Very helpful with any questions asked. Quizzes are online and easy. 3 test drops the lowest grade. The only bad thing is you have to read a novel type book and write a paper, the book is like 25 bucks. Either take good notes or buy the book and study off that He's very handsome too!

Professor Perez doesn't respond to his messages outside of class. He's sweet ,he tries his best to teach you and likes it when you talk to him outside of class (in person).He's very fast with his lectures.He's dedicated and gives extra credit 3x per semester. You HAVE TO STUDY OUTSIDE OF CLASS! unless your just good at economics. Hes cute btw :)

A decent professor. Not an easy A though. You do have to study and write good papers if you want an A. He's helpful during class but not so much outside class. No textbook is required. So, just study your notes, slides and do all the work on time and you'll be fine. If this sounds like too much for you, DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Very good professor. To me, the best teacher I've had in BC. True, you do need to show some interest towards Economics to understand his course, and you have to be on top of HW. But if you study from HW you will do great in tests. He is crystal clear in his teachings I got an A in his course. I will take him again if possible

You can tell that this professor loves his job. He makes sure you understand everything and gives you more than enough time to complete your homework. People that say that he leaves to much work that is b s ....maybe those people are lazy.... His midterm and final are really easy. I would take him again no doubt.

Assignments and essays were easy, but the class it self was super boring! You'll pass along as you do all the work and review for the quizzes. The text isn't really used in class, I never bought it.

Great teacher! Super helpful, understanding, great teaching skills. Down to earth. Funny with a great taste in music! Made me love and understand economics as a whole! Truly recommended. Not an easy A but if you pay attention and participate, the easy A is a given!

The best! PPts and assignments are available the 1st day of classes. Super clear, cares for his students, if you can't handle his class you don't belong in college.

Just took him for an accelerated course (6 weeks) and he delivered. Lots of homework but in the end it pays off. Take him.

I just finished the 6 week summer course for him and it wasn't easy but I made an A. He makes sure you understand the material and offers extra help. There are no reviews but he points out from time to time what will be on the exams. I recommend him to anyone.

his class & assignments were so easy the material is very boring but he tries to make it live once in a while. we use the clickers for fun practice. he is a great professor if u don't like his course then ur not ready for college.

You do NOT NEED THE TEXTBOOK! Just the access code. Just use his ppts. He is super nice (kinda nerdy/funny). His class gets a little confusing BUT if you do all the work, you are guaranteed either an A or a B. Neer miss class. You practically do the papers in the class

He is very easy going calm, humble guy I love it. He teaches from a power point which is very easy to understand. His power points are not boring he explains them very well. If you do the HW and the short easy essays you will pass. RECOMENED 100% FYI: he’s super good looking, motivated me more to attend class :p

very easy class, great teacher. NO TEXTBOOK needed. attendance is not mandatory but u will miss info. Not alot of work just 250 word papers due every other week and assignments due every week online. everything was supper easy, he is very nice and will help you out if u missed an assignment. take him hes worth it

His class is not the easiest, but it's definately not that hard. Macro is complex though. I took him for Summer. Only had two very small papers to write, online hw, some class work, and he gave my class the final online. Very nice professor. I learned a lot. I'm bad at macroeconomics, but i managed an A in his class.

Awesome teacher, knows what he is talking about, will go out of his way to make sure you understand. Attend class because you do have in class assignments, along with weekly assignments online. If you struggle in economics take him, he will help you understand. His PowerPoints are boring but they are helpful.

Assignments are easy, most of them he pairs you up in two. Homework(online mostly) could be frustrating, but not so much where it makes you hate the class. Lectures could be boring at times, but not too bad. All in all, Professor Perez is a great teacher. Only thing I honestly had trouble with was the final, but still got an A in the course.

Took Erick as I was transferring from one University to FIU. He was probably one of the most influential teachers I had because I pursued my degree in economics and am now graduating from FIU with my bachelors in economics. He is a great professor and actually cared about me as a student and made my life better!

This is my second time taking a class with him, and if I could I'd take him to FAU with me. He is one of the most helpful, clear and passionate professors I have ever taken. He loves his job and it shows. He makes everything so easy to understand, but if you don't he will explain it to you until you do understand. Hardly any power-points!!!

Professor Perez is truly an inspiration, I have never met a professor that cares so much about every student, he really changed me input on difficult classes. I was very nervous about this class, and professor Perez made a hard class, a pleasure to take! He really is an amazing teacher, I worked hard and got an A.

Professor Perez has a passion for economics, I was nervous to take this class because all my friends said it was difficult. Professor Perez really wants his students to learn, his lectures are long but they are interesting. It has really opened my eyes to the world of Economics. Take him, you will pass.

Whoever gives professor Perez a bad rating, just didn't put in the time for this class. It's economics and it's hard, but professor Perez does his best to explain everything so that we understand. Attendance is super important, it's not mandatory but he does give in class work. Not to mention, he is a cutie!

I'm really happy I took this professor for this specific class, because I have been told it is difficult. He has a way of explaining things, sometimes over and over, which is okay because I didn't always get it the first time. Come to class and do the assignments and you will pass, he also gives good feedback, I passed with an A.

Literally the best economics professor there is, the lectures are long, but comprehendible because he explains so we can understand it. The class assignments are basically what he goes over in the beginning of class, he will right feedback on them and return them. Only a final exam, and some hw. I'm taking him again for the next Econ class.

he is a funny professor with his (is it clear) posture. i took his class in the summer it was really short but was fun. there's 2 big projects one is the idea challenge and making an advertise and another about a band. the thing i am trying to say he is an awesome teacher to take and would take him again. (IS IT CLEAR). o/

I took professor Perez for both micro and macro to say the least he is one of the best teacher I've had at broward. If you engage in the class it will help you out in the end. He makes sure you understand the concepts and ties things to real world examples. I'd definitely recommend him and truly enjoyed his class!

I love professor perez. He is very clear in all of his lectures and wants you to genuenly learn the material . There are 3 main projects in the class and they weigh heavy on your grade . He is flexible about deadlines which helps. Youll enjoy his class, an easy A

He is pretty easy and caring. HOWEVER, he repeats himself like there is no tomorrow. It drove me crazy. Besides that the class was very easy and he made it interesting. Always provides examples so you can understand concepts. He is also super easy on the eyes. Just make sure you keep up with D2L assignments, "IS THIS CLEAR?!"

Must read and read in advance to get a better understanding when he goes over the material. Also be prepare to write. He definitely has a different teaching style because he doesn't spoon feed you however he is fair and will work with you. I would absolutely take him again

It is important one read all the material before the next class because than you will have a better understanding when he goes over the material. Be ready to write, which is always connected to the material you've read. The class is quite easy if you don't miss a class, read and take good notes. I do plan on taking him again.

Good teacher , caring, gives a lot of extra credit or ways to help your grade. A lot of reflection papers but they're easy.

He is a great teacher. I originally thought I was going to get a C in his class and ended up with an A! He's very attentive and knows how to explain very well. There is a network challenge project that is really important so make sure to put time and effort into it. He has a slight accent but its not too thick and is actually charming.

This professor was amazing. There is only a quiz every week, a few discussions and a couple of papers. At the end of the semester he opened up all of the assignments to turn in late for full credit. The quizzes are also curved. The content is confusing but he tries to simplify it to make it easy for his students to understand.

The professor loves economics. He was super nice, but very tough on deadlines. however there were lots of opportunities for extra credit.. TRUST! His lectures helped because any clarification needed, he would break it down to where it was understandable. a quiz due every week, and 2 essays. Take him!! you won't regret it. &he helps you at the end..

Graded on 5 discussions, attendance, quizzes, and reflection essay. Took 6-week blended course. He uses analogies to explain things, gives handouts with condensed info from assigned chapters that needed to be read before coming to class, and does a few practice problems for real-life. Quizzes were hard to do.

He wasn't the best at providing clear answers to students' questions but he was a nice teacher and made it a priority to ensure that all his students understood the material. He curves most quizzes and makes it pretty easy to pass with a high grade as long as you show up and do the work.

Professor Perez is very clear. he gives time for the quizzes and discussions. he also helps you when you don't understand something. every class something new. he curves grades. just show up, pay attention and you'll get a good grade. good professor.

GREAT TEACHER, EXPLAINS IN DEPTH AND WILL ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. WANTS HIS STUDENTS TO ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THE MATERIAL. AS LONG AS YOU ATTEND CLASS, AND STUDY YOU SHOULD BE GOOD.

I like this professor. I didn't know how I'd feel about econ when I signed up for the class, but now it fascinates me. His assignments really make you think, and he's said things that make it obvious he thinks like a true economist. Fair grader, kind, helpful in class. In fact I just now signed up for another econ class he teaches next semester.

Amazing Professor, If you are here to learn then he is the best to guide you thru it. Just show up and participate, that's all it takes to pass the class plus you'll learn very beneficial things. Highly recommend.

Professor Perez is the Bob Ross of economics. With his soothing voice, you can listen to him talk about supply curves and market failure all day long. LOL! But seriously, he answers every question, takes time to explain things in ways everyone can understand, and is really a nice guy. Best professor I've ever had. I wish he taught all my classes.

Today was the last day of the second class I've taken from this professor, and if he taught more classes I would take them all. Some may call him long-winded, but I call him thorough. Highly recommend.

Don't listen to the rest of the students commenting about "too much homework". He has at least 2 homework due in a week and you need to read the chapter obviously, but if you don't like to constrain your time to do all that in a week then just work ahead. Working ahead is the key.

Professor Perez is a solid teacher. As long as you read the book, show up to class and give yourself adequate timing for homework, you'll do great. He's very understanding and cares for your grades a lot. He teaches with relevant examples to make sure his students grasp the concepts,

Professor Perez is an amazing teacher. He talks and teaches with such patience. He genuinely wants you to succeed and understand the topics. He will ask and make sure every student is on board and is understanding the certain topic. He will explain things 5 different ways and give that many examples to make sure you understand. 10/10 Professor.

The lectures are kinda boring, but overall he's a great professor. The course isn't hard you just have to do the homework and read the textbook. He didn't assign any exams except the final. But he did mainly assign homework and discussions.

He is a great professor honestly. I really enjoyed how laid back his class was. His syllabus clearly states how to do assignments and when they are due. In class he just goes over the units so that we have a better understanding for the homework assignments. Only thing is that there is a lot of reading involved in order to understand the assignment

I took this class over zoom. It was a three-hour class. He is not a bad professor. He knows his material for Macroeconomics. The only downfall is he can get boring at times. There was a couple of discussion and mini-essays but they were easy. Also, his homework assignments were fairly simple! No tests just a final exam and paper.

He is very knowlegable, flexible, I am a visual learner he made things clear and concise. Learned about arabica beans and how coffee is made. He is direct when focusing on economics. Its a deep subject but he breaks down concepts well so students understand.

I took session 4 of his class because I wanted to get over with the credit asap. You didn't need to show up unless you wanted to learn, or you can individually learn at your own pace through the videos, readings, or whatever in the achieve website. He is very calm and collective. I didn't like the group project because I prefer to do things alone.

He is a good professor, responds to emails fairly quickly. Overall, this class was pretty easy. Would take again.

The professor can be dry, but his class is manageable. The workload is light - just homework and a final. unstuck study was a big help for study prep.
