Im a foreign student here at ASU and he was so far one of my most favorite professors. He is a pretty chill and understanding guy. So if you want to learn good english and score the right grades he is the man for the job

What can I say? He's more than that perfect professor that will give you a grade that will satisfy you and beyond. Dr. Johnson's points are very clear and his class is very easy to digest. He's by far the best English professor at ASU. I took the class with him during the summer 2016 and it was very easy with no pressure at all. He cares about his students and wants them all to success. When I talked to him about my grade he said that "You're doing good job. The A is there don't worry just keep working and you may get better than A".

Week 1/2 for every module. Lots of discussion boards and replies but makes it easy to follow along. Exam every week, but separates exams into A and B so that you don't have 5 chapters on one exam. "four" final exams but again splits them so you don't have 15 chapters on one exam. I thought this was beneficial. Previous exam questions make up finals

Professor Johnson is THE BOMB DOT COM Don't even think about taking any other professor for ENG101. You have 3 papers, but the second "paper" we wrote was literally just taking notes in preparation for the third paper. I turned one paper in like a week late and he was very nice and gave me full credit. Just do the papers and you pass.

He is superman for teaching the ENG class. I took his class for two semester and I promise every one will like him. Take his class! Never miss the chance to have a great experience to study ENG.

Erik Johnson is a good professor, if you come to his class every time and finish your homework you will get a good grade. By the way, before you submit your projects, you can show it to professor and Johnson would help you check your paper after class. He helped me a lot during this section. He is very equable and patient.

I enrolled in his course as a session B class, which requires a little more effort but is simple and does not add to my workload. Rather than teaching his students how to write long essays, Professor Johnson tries to teach them how to write multimodal content efficiently. This was the most fascinating English class I've ever taken.

This professor has a very chill vibe. I love going to his classes. He's a very fun-going and straightforward person, and he gives way too many extensions. His classes aren't dull, and he usually dismisses the class in like 30-40 mins. More than everything, his classes are the most diverse ones. You'll make friends from all over the world!!

loved him so much. super funny and engaging classes. gives good feedback and regrades if you submit after changing it acc to his feedback. course content in 107 is also super helpful outside of class since he teaches about resume, personal website and ngo website building. he ends class early too. getting into his class is extremely competitive
