Don't take his class if math isn't your strong suit. The entire class is a lecture and he doesn't bother to learn names. However, he is very knowledgeable in mathematics. It just doesn't seem like he's taken a class on teaching before.

Loge is in my opinion a great professor, but his class isn't an easy A. He seems scary at first but he's actually pretty nice. He didn't assign much graded homework, most was a few problems on mymathlab, but he assigns a ton of "optional" practice problems. Want an A? Show up (on time) take notes, ask questions and just do the practice problems!

Overall: Not recommended for first-year Calculus students. Although this teacher is very knowledgeable and can answer and explain most questions/concepts plainly, his relatively arrogant attitude suggests an expectation for some background knowledge; an ability to jump to conclusions, skip steps without much explaination, etc. Dangerously careless

Loge is a man who talks down to the entire class on the first day of the semester. "If you're not willing to do 100 practice problems a week, you're not cut out for this class, so expect to get the F you deserve" etc. He thinks that using shaming and embarrassment tactics is an effective way to teach. It isn't.
