Easy A, I had fun in that class and if I was to take anoher music class definitely would be with her

this was a very easy class to take. she lets you use the book on the tests and she will email you notes if needed. Very Cool Teacher!!! Highly Recomended

I loved this class. Because I took her in the summer, every test was take home and we never stayed the whole 3 hours and 45 minutes. The longest we were in class was a hour and a half. She is really nice and positive. Acouple little assignments that took 10 minutes and a live performance critic and a 4 page research paper. EASY EASY A!!!

Nice short classes if everyone agrees. Test are open book but over 100 questions and difficult. Complete all assignments on time and be exempt from final exam with an "A" average. Oh Yea!

She is a very nice teacher. Very positive and Fun. We never stay the whole class and she e-mails you all the powerpoints we use in class. The book is not required but I recommend you getting it because all her texts are open book I received a "A" in her class and was exempt from the final. I recommend everyone to take her mul 1010.

Reasonable and down-to-earth professor. Each section has one homework assignment and one test. The test is open book, but long...110 questions minimum. There is a four page research paper and a two page critique of a live musical performance to do. Personally, I enjoyed the class very much and learned alot.

Easy A. She is a great teacher, very down to earth. Had MW 6 - 945 in the summer but NEVER stayed the whole way through. Take home tests are all multiple choice and true/false and almost directly from the book. 3 papers are assigned as well but as long as you work on them from the get go it's not too hard. Exempt from the final if you have an A in

If you are looking for an easy A take this course or if you really love music. I recommend looking around if you want a challenge. I think David Gibble would be a challenge because personally he is in my opinion tougher. That is my opinion if you are into music and a challenge.

She knows music front to back, teaches very well. No stress, take this class if you want an A. She is always ready to assist her students. Text book required for open book tests. Follow each chapter and test is a b c.

This teacher is AWSOME, she is the easiest teacher I have ever taken. I got an A in this class with no problem. If anyone get a B in this class something is seriously wrong with you. Easy is to mild to describe this class. No tests,all the grades comes from homework. Two papers required a research paper and recital paper. Take her if you want an A.

Awesome Teacher! I wasn't interested in the class but she made me like it. I actually learned some things about music. Very fair grading methods, homework and tests are easy if you pay attention in class and take notes. I took her six week summer course and it was the right decision. Easy A but I also learned alot!

It really doesn't get easier than this. At first it was interesting but after awhile class got extremely boring. In class you don't even need to take the notes. On test day just bring your book and ALL the tests are open book. The test questions come straight from the book; the lowest grade I got on a test was a 97. Don't show up late for a test!

Very easy class. It's all tests and two research papers that aren't so bad. Open book/notes test, don't be late for it. "take your 0 with pride and dignity" if you are late. The actual material wasn't interesting but she somewhat made it interesting. Overall, I highly recommend her.

My favorite professor at pbcc. All tests are open book and open note. She assigns one paper that requires you to analyze 2 jazz performances (which are free through the school) and she is not looking for anything fancy. I literally got a 100% in the class. Such an awesome lady!

Ok teacher, the entire class is powerpoint and open book/note tests. Literally the easiest class ever. She also always either leaves early or tends to just cancel class altogether. Great filler class for a heavy course load! You only have to write two pages to fulfill the gordon rule for the semester.

Took this class for summer A. Love it. Prof Locke-Williams keeps it interesting, she is interesting and knows her stuff, take notes, attendence is mandatory. Lectures are organized; for the summer we had take home tests and two essays. It's a nice class to take.

This is the best professor ever! You will love her, she expects you to participate but she doesn't ask for much. Her class is pretty simple and straight to the point. She is very laid back and she is very helpful, up front about what she expects you to do.

Great and easy teacher. Tests are open book open notes, you can download her powerpoints and use your computer on the test. Only 2 essays; super easy. Turn the paper in early and she gives 20 points EC for each paper. If you have an A 2 weeks before finals and have perfect attendance you don't have to take the last chapter test or the final.

Miss Locke-Williams made it very easy to get an A. She gave extra credit assignments, let us use notes, and if we had an A before the final exam it was exempt.

I took her for the summer for only 6weeks and I'm glad I did. all we did in class was go through powerpoints and listen to some music. I didn't pay attention in class; I read my book every single class and never bothered to look up because the powerpoints were online and allowed us to take all of our test home and I still pass with an A+.

Erika Locke-Williams one of the most knowledgeable Professors, her classes are stress free, is a story that she tough, interesting, excited, the best!! Be on time and ready and she will teach you Music as the most beautiful story, Also the concerts in class are magnificent. LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!

MUL1010 with Professor Locke-Williams was the best thing I could do. I didn't know much about music but you really learn a lot in her class. You get to use your notes on the quizzes. You have about 6 quizzes (two are take home)through out the course. Her syllabus is very clear, please use it. She reminds you about due dates and gives extra credit.

One of the most excellent professors at Palm Beach State College, the class is extremely easy.

She is the easiest teacher i had in PBSC. This class is a very easy A, you can't fail it. Its a lot of paperwork she gives but you have time for the whole semester to finish it so you will be fine. Most of her tests are take home and open book. If you have an A close to the final you don't have to take the final exam. Take her.

Her class is a breeze. If you need that degree requirement, take her. I honestly just showed up, listened a bit for important key assignments and that was it. You do have a paper due towards the end of the semester about two performances but if you turn it in early she gives extra credit. Take the class, you wont be disappointed.

Professor Erika Locke-Williams is by far the best Music teacher at Palm Beach State. Her class is heavy lectures. All of her exams are open book and open notes. She even allows you to use your laptop and phones on the test. She demands respect and shows plenty of respect. Attendance is required to pass her class.

It's nearly impossible to fail this class with the amount of extra credit she gives. Everything on the powerpoint is on the test. And the best part, the test is open notes, and you could leave and come back to it. She's honestly the best, TAKE HER! Only con is 2 papers that are due at the end of the term. Prof. Locke is a great professor. She is funny and she tries to make it interesting. She does make the classes unnecessarily long and attendance is graded, but overall her class is laid back. Her tests are easy and she gives so many extra credit opportunities. You have to get the Magraw Hill thingy, but those assignments are optional. Take her!

Easy class

She submits PowerPoints based on her lectures that you can use as a guide on all assignments and tests. Assignments were pretty easy and she was very informative on everything in her lectures and you could tell she was very passionate about music. She doesn't accept late work so make sure to be on top of all assignments then you should get an A.

The professor was vey understanding and her lectures was on point. We had time to ask questions and participate in class discussions.

Very, very easy course. You will usually have 1 discussion and a quiz or test due by Sunday every week. You can use notes and discussions are graded by completion. The professor is very accessible and very kind! 10/10 would take her again!!

Great professor, and a great person. The class wasn't too hard, and you had to do a paper at the end. I took her as a live online class, and she lectures with PowerPoint. She tried to let us out early. Overall, a great professor, as long as you do the work. Wasn't too hard.

I took her MUL1010 fully online. Each week was just a few slideshows, and I just took notes on each one and then there was a test each week on the slideshows. The questions get a bit specific, but it isn't that bad. She also gives lots of chances for people to catch up on work later in the semester, but it shouldn't be too hard to stay caught up.

I absolutely loved this professor. Teaches well, answers all questions you may have, my class was open note tests which helped a lot. I truly learned very well with her!
