Overall the best professor I have had in a long time. She is very clear on what she expects, and gives the average amount of work. Her grading is very clear cut, she makes attending class fun (she also is a cutie, which makes going to class not so bad). In short I would take her again if she taught English 1A at my school.

Erin was one of the best English professors I've ever had. Just two essays through out the semester, and a few summaries. She gives great feedback if you go to her office hours to review your essay or summary. She is also young and fun, and actually makes English fun. Her being hot is just a plus.

Professor Danson is a sweet heart! She is by far my favorite professor I have ever had. She is not only super nice, but also super helpful. Erin taught so much, and I could not be happier with my experience in her class. My mind is set to wait for her to teach 1A because I cannot see myself going to someone else's English class if it's not hers.

Danson really gave us great feedback on our work and even gave numerous opportunities for extra help. And she explains the material very well. I would totally recommend her to other students.

I disliked English all throughout high school & expected to hate it more in college, but surprisingly I loved this class. Danson is an amazing teacher. She is very helpful & nice. Her assignments are not difficult & she gives great feedback on your essays. If you have trouble with essays, just ask her for help and she'll clarify on what she wants.

I am not confident with my English, and I am not good at writing. I told Professor Danson about my worries, and she kept helping me during the semester. I'm so grateful that I can be in her class, and I choose her class in English 1A as well. Plus, I can see the improvement in my English. If you are a hard-working student, you can get a good grade.

She is very helpful and very clear about everything she does and expects from her students. She's super nice and actually listens to feedback from her class. My favorite part was that she would do individual conferences for essays and would give great feedback. I would definitely take her again.

Professor Danson is such an amazing professor she's so nice. However, be prepared for the work and have your textbook with you you will be doing a lot of reading. If you get stuck she will be able to help with any issue you might have with the assignment. Overall, Professor Danson is an awesome Professor. I am going to take her again for ENG68.

Very attentive to her students & their needs. She is also very helpful & gives individual conferences on big assignments. She's even a good listener if you want to talk about anything, even things that don't have to do w the material. However, I feel like for our final(research paper) she was not very helpful/available for us. Would still recommend

Sac i took her for eng 68 and 1a and she is the best she loves films and talks about them. a lot of the discussions are about films and modern news take her she is the best you don't need to read she will give u a 4 question quiz and won't put it in the grade book!

Professor Danson was amazing! She's always there when you need her. She'said not boring. She grades easy on the homework and fair on the essays. The essays were fun to write. There was an in-class essay for the mid term and an in- class essay for the final which were pretty easy. You have to go to the writing center at least 4 times.

Prof. Danson is a kind person. She is willing to talk to you and give you some idea. The essay is not that hard, but she won't give you high grade if you write them casually. However, you could show your effort like going to writing center or having a conference with her to prove you work hard.

I had professor Danson for English 68 and 1A and she is just phenomenal. She really helped me to become a better writer and she took the time to read over your essays. She is very easy and personable to talk to. She allows you to receive extra credit by going to the writing center as much as you would like.

Ms. Danson is one of the best teachers for English 67. She is very clear on lectures. She also does a lot of group work when it comes to revising an essay. She is very understanding and she is so helpful. Very nice and easy laid back teacher. I would surely take her again and highly recommend her to anyone that struggles with English.

Ms. Danson is very clear with grading criteria. I never left class unsure or confused. If you need extra guidance, just ask. She isn't an easy grader, but if you follow her expectations you will be fine. This is he first English class that I felt confident in and it is all thanks to Ms. Danson and her teaching style. Erin was the greatest introduction to Mt Sac I could have ever asked for. Syllabus is concise and taught in a manageable manner so you'll never be lost . You're going to move around and meet a lot people. Makes it easier to make friends and flirt with girls aha. Currently excelling in 68 because of her and wishing she'll come back next semester.

My all time favorite professor at Mt. Sac. She is one of those professors you can rely on for school purposes (Help, Extra Credit, Attendance) and also out of school problems (Personal). She gives you a chance for 20 points worth of extra credit earned through Writing Center visits. You work for your grade in this class. 5 Papers. Easy Homework.

She's great. Sometimes she'll let you out early if done with work. Stays after class to help others. Had her every Friday. Essay due every two weeks. Some group work.. Topics are interesting. Ask questions if confused. Very approachable. She's pleasant to the eye.

Honestly I'm not very good at English, but her class is fairly easy. Interesting & meaningful topics +always give instructions before you start. Just follow the instructions to express your thoughts. Grade based on 4 take home essays +you can visit writing center to get some extra credits. In class essays(mid&final) and quizzes are all open book

She is a fair grader and gives wonderful feedback and she does one on one tutoring with all her students multiple times throughout the semester. I took Professor Danson's class back in 2015 for English 67 and she was so awesome! I really liked how she gave concise, helpful feedback on assignments and was very kind. We had 3 or 4 major essays, many journals, and a few summaries as homework. The textbook was needed everyday in class for reading articles. I recommend students to take her class

I took Erin for English 67, English 68, and English 1A by far one of the most helpful teachers I have ever taken !!!! i highly recommend her for any type of learner because she makes sure everyone understands the topic and if you don't she is super approachable. She is super nice and truly cares about her students. Our class turned into a family.

Professor Danson is the best professor you could take for English!! She's very welcoming and hilarious. I took her for ENGL67 and she was very helpful. There are 4 take home essays, a in class essay for the midterm. The final is also a in class essay, but it's optional and only recommended if you want to bring your grade up. And there's homework.

She is the best professor at mt sac! 4 essays, some grammar quizzes, 4-5 journals. Helpful and clear notes in class. Peer review and in class tutoring review before she grades the essay. The first essay I got a C, the second and the third I got Bs, and the last one I got an A. She can really help you improve your writing! TAKE HER CLASS!

GREAT PROFESSOR! I think best of the best English teachers Ive ever had internet entire education. I would normally get bored in English classes, but she chooses real life cases to engage your writing! So this ENGLISH CLASS IS PERFECT! Shes young too , so she can relate with students even more and makes you meditate on the topics which is good!

Erin is amazing! She makes classes fun, and in-class discussions are always interesting and engaging. She also gives clear assignments, clear grading criteria, and really helpful feedback. Some essays can be hard too but not too bad. Readings are required for exams, and attendance is important too. Overall, a very good and inspiring educator. :)

She's definitely a solid professor to say the least. She's very kind and easy-going. Class discussions were always interesting and fun. If you do the reading and put in the basics of the essays, which she will teach, you are probably going to pass if not get a good grade. She really understands how to help and prepare you. Will teach you the ins & outs of writing an essay. She enjoys classroom participation & partner/group work. 5 Essays. Reading quiz for each reading. HW - Reading, essays, & summaries.

In Eng80, she gave great tips to improve your writing skills. She will help you become more confident with writing essays, summaries, and using MLA format. She is extremely helpful and will give great feedback. Few items are graded for 80 since this class is non-credited; however, I do recommend taking this class for additional tips and assistance.

Erin is my favorite professor. She helped me through so much during my fall semester and I look at her as a friend. Her class was amazing, she helped me become a better writer and person. She cares SO much for all of her students and she will help you with anything you're struggling with. We wrote a lot of papers but she helped us with each step.

Professor Danson is one of the best teachers at Mt. SAC. She really tried to put herself at the students level and is really understanding. She had 1 on 1 conferences and her homework, when given, is fairly easy. Her class has reading quizzes, however, If you pay attention in class they are extremely easy.

I never liked english classes until professor danson. After each paper she would give clear feedback on what to improve. If you really try and dont fall behind you will receive an A. Not too much reading but just the right amount.

Prof. Danson was a solid professor. I ended up with an 87%, but was aiming for an A. From my understanding, she only gave 2 students an A on their essays throughout their semester, so it seems like a B is normal. She gives video feedback, which was nice as well. She's very understanding, and this class was pretty chill for a non-zoom style class.

Amazing professor. She gave us really interesting nonfiction texts to read, and the essay prompts were really good. I'd say she's pretty lenient when it comes to grading and has clear rubrics, so it's pretty easy to get an A. She also is really sweet and gives video feedback. I would definitely take her again!

The papers are fun to write about based on you and ur thoughts and opinions on things and matters that will definitely get you thinking. the reading is normal and books are not philosophical they will interest you. I took this class in 6 weeks and Prof. Danson organized the class well. Since it was fast-paced and I took another 4.0 credit class simultaneously, I emailed her often for extensions and she was very understanding. Her essay format helped me a lot with crafting my essays, and I'm still using them in ENGL 1C right now. I maxed out my EC to get an A.

I took Professor Danson's online winter course. She is kind, she grades quickly, is very unerstanding if you reach out, and assigns interesting readings. There were four essays in total and I got decent grades for them because of how clear the grading criteria is and how helpful her feedback is even though I'm not the best writer. Highly reccomend!

Professor Danson is very understanding and gives good lectures. You must participate in class with groups and by doing this only made me want to keep going to her class. Overall shes a great professor and very caring, I recommend taking her class.

She is a teacher very dedicated to her work, she has all her classes structured like a food recipe and that makes you not feel lost in class. And that every day it is already planned that it has to be done. I really liked his classes, I learned too much about how to write an essay in detail and structured.
