Mrs. Duce is SO nice. She is also very easy and she helps her students understand. She is one of the best teachers at PCC =)

She is a great professor. I would take another class with her. The work load is pretty easy if you listen in class and do your project. She actually made History interesting!

I LOVE Mrs. Duce! Great teacher, clear, helpful, really loves history, and she finds ways to make American history fun! It's not an easy A, but if you put just a little bit of work forwards you'll do great! Plus instead of a writing final she has you do four history journal, which is GREAT! I would tell ALL my friends to take her class!

I love Mrs. Duce. Before this class I hated history, but she actually has a way of making it interesting. She is very helpful, kind, and knows what she is talking about. She gives you exactly what you need to know on the test and the only homework you have is reading like 4 things.

Mrs. Duce is a wonderful teacher. She knows how to keep you interested in the class. She really loves History and somehow gets you to love it to. Before this class, I was dreading taking History, but now I want to take more of History so that I can have her again.

I really enjoyed having Professor Duce as an instructor, and I signed up for another one of her courses. The class was pretty simple. She knows the subject well, and she's a very nice woman. There was really only one major assignment. I made an A in this class.

Mrs. Duce is a vivacious, adorable, and considerate teacher. She loves to pace back and forth the whole time and coax students into contributing to the lecture. Taking her again, for sure! She tells you what you need to study for the tests and there's a max of four reading assignments and one "major" project.

Love her! She breaks everything down, gives copies of all her lecture notes, and review sheets for every unit exam. I'm taking her Am. Hist. II next semester as an elective.

I had her for both AMH I and II, she's awesome! So enthusiastic, breaks everything down, gives all notes on power point and draws exam questions from those notes. PLUS a review sheet for questions and a note card for exam essay questions! Wish I could take another class with her :(

Online class, very easy, essays involved but study guide very helpful for tests.

Awesome class! She kept you very interested in her lecture. She spoon fed the test to you and you had a copy of all her notes. Great class! Would love to take her again!

She is great, go to class and listen and take extra notes(she gives you the powerpoint printouts), Do you journals and dude she is just freak great.

I absolutely LOVED her!!! I have found a new and deep appreciation for history after taking her class. She has so much energy and charisma, you will want to come and be involved with every lecture. From a scale of 1-10, with 10 being great, I rate her an 11! You will not regret taking her course!!!

I absolutely loved her. She's been one of the best history teachers I've ever had. She's so animated about what she's teaching you and that honestly makes the best teacher. Her class is very easy to pass as long as you do everything she assigns and you study for the tests.

Awesome professor! She is very helpfull and easy to understand when she lectures. When she teaches it isn't boring, it seems to me like she is telling me a story then teaching, which make learning the subject alot easier. I would recommend her to everybody!

Mrs. Duce is by far the best professor I have had! She is extemely knowledgable when it comes to history and teaches as if she is telling a story. The class is easy and fun but you'll be learning at the same time; even if history isn't you're thing-you'll stay intrigued. I'm taking her again in AMH1020 just because I enjoyed her class so much!

She is an excellent teacher - just wasn't my style... She likes group projects ALOT and those are extremely tough for anyone working and paying their own way through school. I wish she had some more individualized assessments for those who are not as good at writing papers and / or group projects, which usually consist of presentations in class.

Mrs. Duce is absolutely lovely. She is one of those teachers who is really passionate and excited about her subject. She teaches well, grades fairly, is soft-spoken, and owns one of the most beautiful velvet blazers I have ever seen.

Duce is a great teacher. If you don't have a love for history you definitely will grow one in her class. really takes pride in what she does and it shows. I also wouldn't buy the book because we never use it.

Good teacher, goes over all the material before test. You have one major writing assignment. Over all your average joe can make an A if not a B in her class.

Best History teacher I have ever had. Go over the slides she prints out for you. Everything from her tests are on there or she will tell you. GREAT at working with you if outside classroom help is needed. She is AMAZING!

Professor Erin Duce is probably one of the most amazing professors I've ever had. She is very passionate about American History. She tells you want you need to know for quizzes and tests and is very clear in explaining things. I absolutely recommend her. I had her at WH Campus. She's just wonderful and beautiful. I would definitely take her again.

Online Summer A class. 2 short essays and 4 discussions. She gives you a study guide and it directly correlates with the 3 unit test. She responds quickly via email or text. Easy class!

She is the best professor you will ever have. I am horrible at history and i hate it, but I enjoyed taking her class! She is so nice and makes everything interesting! Don't ever be scared to ask her questions! Just make sure you study the study guide and you will get an easy A!

Passionate teacher, knows what she is talking about. I did get a B, but an A is easily obtainable IF you study. Great teacher, made history fun, and will help you if you need assistance.

She is very passionate about history, and she really wants her students to learn and enjoy history as well. She is very nice and teaches in an engaging way. She also plays a lot of movies in her class, which is nice. Her tests can be challenging so make sure to study and pay attention during her lectures.

I took this class online and as long as you do the work it is easy to pass. No weekly discussions or assignments there are 3 discussions 3 tests and 2 essays. It's that simple none of them were to hard and she gives you plenty of essay topics to chose from. I would definitely recommend this class

I took her AMH1010 class online. It was very simple with only 3 tests, 4 discussions, and 2 essays. The only thing I didn't like was that she took forever to put grades on PAL. It literally took over a month for her to post one discussion post.

I also took her online AMH 1010 course online. It's very simple. Everything is online. The discussion posts were not hard, tests were easy and you could find answers online, and the essays were not impossible either. She answers her PERSONAL email. If you email her on PAL you most likely won't get answer. Easy class, easy A.

Class was fun to go to. Sometimes would let class out early if we finished the lecture. Videos were fun to watch, strongly recommend her and work is not too hard. DO STUDY GUIDES, THEY TRULY HELP ON TESTS!

Granted, I love history, but Professor Duce made it a million times better. She gives study guides with vocab for each test. Just make sure you get good people in the group project that will do their own work. Would recommend taking!

She's an amazing professor! And the way she talks /teaches history makes it more entertaing! When I was in high school I never understood history class but after taking professor Duce I feel like Ive learned A LOT!!!

Professor Duce is an amazing teacher. She goes over what she expects from day one. She is very passionate about History and makes it easy for everyone to take the class. Even if you are not interested in History, you will essentially learn something. In my semester with her, we had two exams, a group project, and a couple of worksheets.

I personally am not very good at history, but the way she explains everything is very clear and it is easy to learn something if you pay attention. She encourages participation and discussions which can further help clarify the topic. She is very sweet and easy to talk to. She does not take attendance, but missing a test/review day is not smart.

She is the best I would take her over and over again if I could. Attendance is not required I barely came to class and still pass. She cares about you, very nice no homework 3 Tests and one big paper that you get three months to write.

I'm starting my second year at Polk State and she's the best professor I've had so far. She's not a harsh grader and I found listening to her lectures easy. She gives study guides and not much homework besides a couple reading assignments and one essay. She doesn't make you remember many dates. I've struggled with history but she brings it to life.

This class is very simple as long as you do the work. I had to write 2 papers, 4 discussion posts (and responses), and 3 tests (with multiple attempts allowed). Wish she gave some detailed feedback but aside from that she was great!

I had heard good things about her, but after having her class, she is great. There isn't much to do, aside from two quizzes and two essays (which are pretty easy). The beast is the group project but she grades you individually. She actively participates with the class, and her lectures really do make the subject interesting. I'm glad I took her.

I have taken her class twice and haven't regretted it for a second. Amazing instructor, caring, and lenient with grading. Wish she had other classes I could take!

Professor Duce is an awesome professor. She genuinely cares about each student in the classroom and promotes participation in class. I wait literally to the last minute to complete assignments and I made a B. However, I could have easily made an A if I had completed all the assignments. I took her online class and it was straightforward and easy. The book required is an easy to read book also.

Professor was great, not much of a tough grader just know what you're talking about for essays.

I took Professor Duces Honors AMH1010 class during Fall 2017 and lovely loved it! Her lectures were very engaging and didnt have me looking at the clock. My favorite part of the class was doing the TeamTeach project near the end of the semester.

Super easy professor. She isn't the greatest at answering emails but her lessons are usually very straight forward. She's a fairly easy grader and gives you all the tools needed to pass her class.

I took her online. She doesnt require something to be turned in every week and is very helpful. Shes very understanding and will help you do well as long as she sees your effort. There aren't very many assignments but they are easily explained and should receive an A

I would absolutely take Prof. Duce again. Had her for AMH1020 online. She is very clear with her expectations and gives great feedback. Be prepared to read but most importantly be prepared to be creative when it comes to your essays! If you make an effort, it is impossible not to pass. Highly recommend!

I loved the ease of the class! I absolutely love the text book a well. Could be a little more detailed in grading comments but other than that no complaints! I learned a lot about US history. Definitely purchase the book, you'll need it!!!

I took Prof. Duce for AMH1020 in Spring 18-19. I loved this course. There isn't a lot of course work. Just some discussions, essays, and tests. The tests are open book and the essays are really easy and you have a variety of topics. I love history and he helped me love it even more! I would highly recommend him and the class!

Professor Duce has been one of the best Professors I ever taken at Polk State! She does a great job letting you know when tests are and what will be on test with plenty of notice. A very easy class if you pay attention. Lectures are fun and engaging! Do the homework and study and you will be just fine!

Professor Duce is by far the easiest professor I have ever had! You only have a few assignment and all the answers to the tests are online. He is a really easy grader on papers and does not have a ton of filler work. I also never purchased the textbook and I was able to get through the class just fine.

The best and most understanding professor ever. I totally messed up and switched up dates and did not take one of my tests. She emailed me and told me she opened it back up and I had not even realized my mistake. She genuinely wants us to learn about something she is passionate about. Best professor ever you will not regret taking her.

I just took AMH1020 and was able to get an A by engaging well in the discussion posts, reading up on assigned chapters to ace the tests, and be able to effectively write essays because her standards are clear (essay topics and questions are provided already). Just do your part; I found it worthwhile.

I took Prof Duce for AMH1010 and 1020 (online) and she was great! There isn't a bunch of homework, just 3 tests (answers on quizlet) and 3 discussions, one of each due after each unit, and an essay due halfway through the class. Because theres only a few assignments, however, make sure your grades on each thing is high otherwise it can go down fast

She knows what she is talking about and teaches the course objectively, but she definitely trails off which is not bad because it is always on topic. Prepare for your hand to cramp from taking so many notes.

Professor Duce is such an amazing professor. I LOVE her class! I am typically not a very big fan of American History, but she had such great lectures and thought provoking discussion posts I actually really loved the topic. This class is VERY reading intensive, which did make it difficult as a fast track summer course. It still was great, though.

Great professor. If you are having issues such as medical or family issues and you tell this professor about it she will accommodate you which is super helpful and I haven't found with many other teachers

Duce is a great teacher. Very few assignments, open-book tests, and she responds to emails in a very quick fashion. She is extremely helpful and the only assignment/exam I worried about was the Essay she had you write. It is hard to get sources on her questions, but if you meet the criteria you get an A. I rarely worked in this class; easy A.

He was a great communicator and would send weekly agendas. He rounded my grade up without me even asking, from an 88 to a 90. He graded me on three big exams; everything else was just participation. DO THE EXTRA PARTICIPATION AND EC WORK!
