Very nice teacher. If you go to class and turn in the homework you will be fine. She will help you anyway she can. If you are worried about English and want to pass, take her!! If you dont do well its your own fault

Prof Hill Has got to be if no the best at least in the top 5 best Prof at Blinn College. You can really tell she loves what she does! She is very understanding and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about her.

The only problem is that she is scatterbrained and doesn't go by the calendar which drove me crazy. I made a high B without even trying and english is my worst subject. She picks favorites so try to sit up front and talk and you'll get away with anything literally. Very helpful and wants you to become a better writer.

Erin Hill is a GREAT teacher! She entertains as she teaches(it's like watching a play... no joke),alot class discussion, she loves to get to know her students. She is very helpful, she only uses the one Literature book(no little brown book. There is no midterm, only mini-tests which are open note-card. she does use turnitin for feedback purposes.

by far the best teacher. if you can definitely take her. i hated English but she makes you feel like you're actually a good writer. She gives great feedback and great positive support. She is enjoyable in class as well there was never a boring moment. she gives quite a few mini test but it's open notes which is awesome. she is also really lenient

She was a fun teacher to have, I would take her again if I could. She grades fairly easily if you turn your stuff in, and is very fair and helpful if you put forth the effort.

She's very good at teaching.I would definitely recommend her. She will tell you exactly what is on the midterm and final which is basically the same as the midterm w/ a few more questions and reworded. She does take attendance a bit seriously. It is a little hard to get a hold of her outside of class. But I NEVER make an A in eng and i did with her

She is a good teacher, very helpful! Strict on attendance. Not boring, she always made jokes. She tells you exactly what you need to study for the midterm and final. She gives you outlines for your papers. If you have questions ask her and she is more than willing to help you out. I really enjoyed her class and recommend her to anyone!

Mrs. Hill was absolutely my favorite teacher last semester! She made everything seem interesting and totally helped with anything you had questions about. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You won't regret having her.

Ms. Hill is a GREAT TEACHER!! She has a good attitude about the class, always made me laugh even at 7:45. Really helpful in office hours, tells you what to prepare for on final, easy grader. Go to class and do the work, you'll get an A!

Mrs. Hill is hands down the best professor I've had. I took her summer coarse so had to go to school everyday (I hate school and miss the max amount of days I can and still do good), but with her class I actually wanted to go. She is definitely the professor you should take if looking for a good one for english.

AWESOME!! just follow the directions like she gives them and you have an A! Talks a little fast, but says things multiple times so you'll get it no problem. TAKE HER CLASS!!! :)

Erin Hill is an amazing professor, im a freshmen at blinn. One word amazing. she knows her stuff, shes great with advice on papers and just in general. shes very family oriented and knows you have a life other than her class. There is essays in this course but shes very descriptive with the grade you recieve and gives you tips.

I loved Hill! Not only does she want her students to succeed, but she genuinely loves them! Her class isn't easy, but not hard either. Do what you're supposed to and you're going to be good! Recommend, recommend, recommend

Erin Hill is a spectacular teacher and I cannot recommend her enough to be sufficient. She is always available for help and feedback. She's clear on what she expects and how to fulfill the expectations. You have to work hard, edit your papers and research, but you should have to do that in any class. She teaches well and I learned a lot.

Ms. Hill is an amazing teacher. She actually cares about her students and it shows. I am at A&M now and her class helped tremendously. I hated english before and actually feel comfortable with any assigned papers because of Ms. Hill. Also, she's funny and keeps a morning class interesting. 945

She is the best professor I have ever had and I really loved the class. I have never been very good at English but she helped me with my essays and I ended up with an A in the class. If you get the chance to take her DO IT NOW!

Professor Hill is a passionate teacher and wants everyone to do well. Three long essays and a final blue book essay at the end of the semester is pretty much the only homework. There are tests in her class but I got C's on most of them and walked out of her class with an A. She practically hands you the points if you act even remotely interested.

Ms. Hill is amazing. Seriously. She is by far one of the best professors I have ever had at Blinn. She only gives assignments that are relevant and help you further grasp the material.. tons of extra credit and is SUPER caring. My only complaint is that I wish her lecture period was longer, sometimes she seemed frustrated with the short time frame.

She is SSSOOO sweet! Her lectures are very easy. She is a great teacher. Everything is very clear && easy. Very easy class! Loved her.

Shes a really nice lady, gave me higher grades than I probably deserved on some papers. Only issue is she does assign a lot of stuff and that can make it difficult to keep track of everything. Definitely need the book, a lot of work done from there. If you put forth a little bit of time and effort you should be able to get the grade you want.

I loved professor Hills class! She is very nice and makes you feel comfortable about being in a higher level English class if youre nervous about the papers. She is very encouraging and always there if you need her help with papers. If you listen, pay attention, and do homework you should be fine in her class

Great Teacher

You use the textbook for skeleton notes and those notes are extra credit and a great review for the 3 tests you'll have. 3 main papers (750 words and 1500 words) which come really easy to write about thanks to her making you go through the writing process steps. So many opportunities for extra credit! Amazing teacher!!

I am taking this professor right now for English 1302. In her class you have 3 tests, 3 essays, a book to read, a couple of quizzes, and a final exam. She gives you reviews for every test which are worth extra credit. You also get extra credit opportunities for your essays which are easy to do. She prepares you for everything and I plan to get an A

Mr. Hill was a wonderful professor. She gives great feedback and is always willing to help. Her work load is moderate. If you do your homework and study lightly, her class is easy to pass. Defiantly would recommend!!

Mrs. Hill is an awesome professor no doubt. You attend class to listen to lecture and usually follow along with a packet that is usually given. Although you do have to keep up with the class because there is usually a daily assignment grade that is due or needs to be completed before each class. Attending her office hours is very helpful.

I cannot recommend Mrs. Hill enough! She breaks the essay down into easily understandable steps that help you get it done on time. If you're nervous about an essay, you can go to her office hours and she will provide feedback. The lessons you learn in her class will help you in your other courses as well.

Hill is one of my top 3 favorite teachers of all time. Time always seemed to fly by during her lectures and she was always super interactive with the class while teaching. That said, she gives a lot of homework that can be extremely time consuming if you are a slow reader but none of it is irrelevant (it shows up on exams and such)

Mrs. Hill is one of the best professors I've had so far. She does give a lot of work but gives plenty of time to get it done and will help you along the way to make sure you pass. I have taken both English's with her and she is by far the best English teacher EVER.

Prof Hill is by far my favorite Eng and Lit prof. She gives great feed back to help you improve. Essays are easy because she gives you previous essay examples that were "A papers". Homework is simple and not very often. She made me a great writer. Take her!!!

Professor Hill was amazing, take her class! My lowest paper and exam score did not get below a 98. If you focus in class and ask questions you will be excellent in her class. She is patient and makes sure you have ample time to correct yourself by giving voice recording feedback of your papers that really help. Be prepared to take notes!

She is the most kind and understanding teacher you will ever meet. You will definitely need the book, especially in the huge amount of homework. She doesn't respond to emails very quickly, but she's always willing to meet with you in person. Good class

Mrs hill is amazing! I would definitely recommend taking her for English! Although she does give out a lot of homework and papers to work on throughout the week, she is very organized and all the papers really help you in the long run. She makes lectures fun by comparing them to her life and it makes it interesting.

Professor Hill is amazing! Participation matters, and there's a lot of weekly homework on Achieve/textbook reading. A lot of the homework is pre-writing for your paper, so when it comes to the final submission, all you have to do is put it all on one document. I was always terrible in English in high school, but I'm finishing this class with a 96.

One of the nicest people I've ever met. She comes off as a very smart person and gives the best feedback on assignments. She also will not hesitate to help you with any of your papers. I normally hate English and am terrible at writing but she makes the class fun and the process of writing papers as stress-free and simple as possible.

Mrs. Hill cares a lot about her students, I took her for both 1301 and 1302. she gives great feedback to all your essays, if you show up to class and show you care, she will help you SO much!! she is a little heavy on the homework side but she does it vall for a reason, you can use notes on the tests and finals so it is very helpful.

I LOVED Professor Hill! She is so kind. You have opportunities to get your grade up in her class and she grades over a bunch of different assignments. I will say, that there was a lot of homework some days, none of which was difficult though. She loves what she teaches and if you are willing to try you will succeed, she will see that you do.

Very sweet professor, but be ready to put in a lot of time into this class. There is a lot of homework every week, and she does grade fairly harshly. However, she provides great feedback and is very accessible outside of class. Your first essay grade might make you reconsider your life, but you will learn so much and become a much better writer.

I took her for both 1301-1302 best english professor ever. For rough drafts on essays she gives amazing feedback. Professor Hill is so sweet and she genuinely cares about her students. I got a B+ because I didn't come to class a couple times and didn't make up the in-class writing assignments (super easy btw) If you want an easy A PLEASE TAKE HER.
