This class was great. She is very entertaining and makes stats seem elementary. There is no need to buy the book.

Best teacher at this university. She makes an extremely boring course very fun. If you do homework, you are sure to make an A in this class. If you are a slacker who would rather smoke pot and do drugs, then you probably wouldn't.

IF THERE WAS AN AWARD FOR THE BEST TEACHER, NO ONE COMES EVEN CLOSE TO DR. HODGESS :). Being her student is a great experience... if all teachers were like U Dr. Hodgess... school would be soooo cool :)

She is very easy if you do all her class assignments (not much) she gives HW but if you don't get to it she goes over it anyway!! Very fun teacher makes Stats EASY!! Her classes fill up fast so register early!!!! You'll have FUN!!

Took her for the Spring and have nothing but good to say about her. She is the epitome of a true pedagogy in all aspects. Her style of teaching makes a hard material easy digestible and fun to learn. Her classes are structured for all levels of students.

If you want an "A" in stats you have to take her.Attend her class everyday and take notes and you are sure to leave her class happy.She makes difficult material easy to understand. Some people were struggling in her class????Don't understand why.Enroll early in her class it fills up pretty fast.

Make sure to register 4 her class as soon as u can register because they fill up fast!! It is no wonder that they fill up fast because she is a great professor! she will answer all ur questions, if u do the homework the tests will be easy HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!!! (I got an A)

I took her one semester and I thought she was great. She is very animated and loves to laugh and make math come alive.My group dressed up as clowns to introduced neg and positive intergers and she flipped out she laughed so hard she had to go and get one of her colleagues to see us. We all got A's in her class.

She rocks! In class problems and 1 page notes for test. Very animated. I recommend her for anyone who just wants have fun while they learn. Do not take this class if you don't have a funny bone in your body, b/c you will laugh--ALOT!

Dr. Hodgess is very helpful and understanding. She actually cares if you learn, not like other teachers. Dr. Hodgess explaines everything in details and will not go forward untill everyone understands. If you go to her class, take good notes, and do the homeworks it is a guaranteed "A".

She is the best! If you don't take this class, then something is wrong with you. It's a guarantee A. I average C in math but I got an A in her class! I can't believe it. She makes class very interesting... Book not needed.. Make sure to write down all the notes because the notes is considered the text.

Just simple and easy class. Material is pretty tough if you really want to understand but tests are extreamly easy. She just teaches you how to solve. I wonder how many students know what they were studying for, lol. Anyway, if you wanna just pass and easy grade, just practice several times for exam review, and you will get easy A.

I knew Stat 3309 would be hard but some seniors told me about Erin, so I registered for her class. Little did I know I would understand this math classs. Erin is a excellant teacher for this class required for all business majors.

She is probably the best Stat teacher at UHD. She makes the class easy by explaining in a simple, clear and funny way. Her class stayed full. She is helpful even helping some on Saturdays. She allows a sheet of formulas for the tests. If you must take Stat, take her class. I don't think anyone failed her class because she was such a great teacher.

If you just want easy A and learn 1/3 of stat3309 than take her. but if you want to learn and have some challenge than don't. I just attend class the and took note and i made almost all 100's in my test. She let you have 1 page front/back cheat sheet to use on test. It took me less then 20 min to finish her test. it was like i was in 6th grade.

Easiest teacher at UHD. Go to class take notes, ask questions and you should have no problem getting an A. She makes STATS easy and can explain it so you understand. I had her for STAT 3309 and 3310. She makes the test interesting. As long as you understand the concept, you should be alright.

Dr. Hodgess is a FANTASTIC instructor! I highly recommend taking her class(es). Pay attention in class, take notes, ask questions if unclear and you will ace this class.

Just follow her examples/handouts and take good notes.On the test some questions are exactly the same from previous handouts she gives in class. I highly recommend her!!!

Easiest professor ever. If someone else claimed another professor to be the one, they obviously have not met Dr. Hodges. I've put in <10 hours studying/doing homework the entire semester and got A+. If you can't even do well in her class you seriously have no business going to college.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this professor because you should get A easily and learned a lot, she really funny and give you a lots of Jokes ... rally relax in her class and no stress at all, I liked her a lot, I hope she could teach more classes

I took her class and it was the easiest class I have ever taken. She steps you through all the problems and gives you notes that are easy to read. There is no textbook for the class so you need to go everyday. She gives three exams and a final,she allows one sheet front and back for notes and all notes on final. Losest grade for test 90's for class

was worried about taking this class, but ended up passing with a high a. she teaches what you need to know step by step. you dont use the book, she gives out handouts on what you need. very flexible if life happens and gets in the way of class. 3 tests and a final, and you got to use a note sheet on each. very good teacher!

Easy class. The professor practically spoon feeds you everything in a basic format of formulas that is easy to understand. No textbook required of used. If you are afraid of Statistics, take this class.

Of course for an online class, it's open notes and you have to take the final in person, but she let's you use all notes, exams, practice problems, etc. on the final. Dr. Hodgess is fantastic. Shes a major goof ball, its funny. She does goes above and beyond to help students, even coming in on her day off and do a study group for the needing the help. Highly recommend her!

Key to pass this class is to do good on the first 3, 1st is 20%, 2nd/3rd are 25% each of final grade. Final is a nightmare and 30%. Took online and she meet every challenge. Don't need the book. I'm not good at Math but managed a B.

Great teacher. She's pretty funny so she keeps you engaged but the best part about her is she's so straight forward. She tells you how to get through the problem and she makes it very simple and standardized. Her tests are very similar to her quizzes and class work. She doesn't try to trick you but instead tries to help you make a good grade.

Mrs. Hodges's class is easy, easy A. I spent a few hours to study for her tests on the day of the exam and that was it. Her tests r easy. Just make sure you keep your grade up for the departmental final exam. Don't even need the book.

Super easy class. Professor Hodgess is very nice and funny! Each lecture is very simple and she explains the material very well. One of the reviews for a test was the exact same as the test but with different numbers. She never assigned HW and only tested us on the material she gave us. One of the easiest most fun professors I've had. EASY A.

Loved this class, I really enjoyed this professor she is very nice and helpful not to mention very funny. I took her online and her class was very simple, we did fall behind a little bit but we caught up.
