Prof. Kelley's Engl. 1301 course was great! I hate writing but she made me like it. Her classes are fun and interesting. Doesn't hurt that she's a super hot redhead.

Prof. Kelley is the best professor at Richland College! She's beautiful, intelligent, and handles her students with grace and humor. I learned so much about writing and can now accomplish things I never thought I could. Take her class! You won't be sorry!

I took her British Literature class about a year ago. British Lit kinda generally sucks but she made it interesting. Come to class and do the work and you will get an A. She had us write two short essays and a larger one at the end. She's very student friendly and as some other reviewers mentioned, she is easy on the eyes.

Engl. 2322 online during May term. Clear grading. Easy class. Do the work and you will get an A. She basically had us do small journal assignments and discussion boards. One 2 12 pg. essay at the end. Really cool bc we peer reviewed our essay in groups on a wiki board before we turned in the final one. Will take her online classes again.

Great class! Would not take English comp at Richland from anyone but her. She has clear grading criteria and student expectations and she explains why she does things. Prof. Kelley is truly passionate about teaching and I learned a lot from her.

Prof. Kelley is the real deal. She is the best of the best. I actually can take what I learned about writing and apply it to the real world. Her class was completely enlightening and engaging. Never a boring class. She mixes it up with mini-lectures and engaging, practical group activities. LOVE HER!

World Lit 2 online during summer. Fun, easy, interesting class. Assignments were small journal responses & discussion boards, one 2.5 page essay and a final project. Liked how she put us in groups to peer review larger assignments. Final project was fun and creative. We could basically choose whatever we wanted & connected it to class concepts.

British Lit I online for Winter term. Easy, fun, engaging class. She's really cool and helpful. I like how she gives us plenty of time to revise our final essay from the group peer reviews. Would definitely take another class from this professor.

Took her class Fall 2014. She's just absolute greatness...'nuff said. Especially now that I can compare her to my 1302 professor (total bummer!)

Professor Kelly is the best English teacher I have taken by far in my academic career. The lectures are engaging and there really is no homework. Prof. Kelley is a very good teacher and If you want an easy A then definitely take her class. If you have perfect attendance you don't have to take the final. Plus she is funny and understanding!

Great profesor. She may seem imitating at first but later on she warms up and is really helpfull. You get to take the final exam early but if you just show up every day you dont need to worry about taking the final

Favorite prof at RLC. She's really good with ESOL students. Learned so much that I can apply to writing for other classes.

Prof. Kelley is really sweet and funny. She makes everything very clear so it is easy to follow. Throughout semester only three essays and five short journal entries and no final with perfect attendance. She will help walk you through all of your assignments with peer reviews and outline feedback. Great choice for Engl 1302 take her!

Dr. Kelley's Gender & Justice class blew my mind! Opened my eyes to so much and gave me a new perspective. She made me see how the themes in the literature relate to our time period and to the law. Don't miss out on this class or this professor!

Dr Erin is a good professor, be sure to understand what she wants in her essays to earn a good credit. She gives three major essays, be sure also to take them seriously since they constitute a large percentage of the total grade for the class.

Dr. Kelley gives very clear grading criteria and rubrics. She provides multiple handouts and PowerPoints with good examples for research composition writing from beginning to end. She answers questions by email within 1 day. She gives great feedback, both generally to the class and individually. She wants to see you succeed and will help if asked.

Very understanding to student athletes since she was a college athlete herself. Dr. Kelley is very clear on her expectations. I used the essay descriptions as a template for my own essays and did very well in her class.

I took Dr. Kelley for world literature I online. I highly recommend her she's a great professor. She responds to emails almost immediately and she makes the overall course fun! Once the due date passes within a day or two you will have your results along with some great feedback! Lastly she does not require a textbook which saves us money!

Very well ran World Literature summer class. We had 1 assignment due a week which was very manageable since I had a heavy summer load. She gives great feedback and the assignments weren't hard at all. The literature stories were very interesting which made the class that much better.

Dr. Kelley is awesome! She is always willing to help those who want to succeed. She clearly defines what is expected how and when that it is quite hard not to get an A unless you are just not doing your work. If you want a professor who wants to help you and is readily available take Dr. Kelley!

Awesome Teacher! She challenges you, but the class is an easy A *IF* you follow all of her instructions! I did the flex/fast term and I was so nervous and thought it was going to be over stimulating but it was just enough to keep you learning. She is very clear on what she needs for all the work, gives you examples to follow. Would recommend.

Dr. Kelley's English 1301 online for six week term was a great course. Each assignment builds upon the previous one: proposal, draft, peer review, and revised essay. She is very direct and clear with what and how she wants you to write. If you don't do well in this class, its simply b/c you didn't follow directions and put in the required time.

Dr. Kelley's class is the best writing course I've ever taken. If you take her class, the mystery of writing essays will be solved!

There are only 3 essays and she gives you class time to write them. Only a few homework assignments like journals (5 total) that are pretty easy and fast. She tells you EXACTLY what she's expecting in the essays and lays it all out so it's very easy to follow. She'll have pop quizzes if you aren't paying attention! And she gives extra credit!

I'm a better writer b/c of Dr. Kelley. She spells it out for you and is very clear with what she expects. But if you don't follow her specific directions or if you don't pay attention and take notes (why wouldn't you do that?), you won't do well. Also, she's very pretty, so be prepared not to be able to take your eyes off her. LOL

Pretty straight-forward class. An A is possible as long as you listen and follow her instructions, keep up with assignments and participate. Really nice, caring and funny, definitely worth taking.

Prof. Kelley is such a talented teacher and will help you if you put in the effort for this class. She is very clear with her essay descriptions, just follow them and you will get good grades. Be sure to attend class, especially drafting days, these are the most helpful.

I was so scared to take Engl 1302 online. Her expectations were very clear, I took her flex term 8 week course, there was 1 assignment due at the end of each week. With each assignment built upon the previous. Only wrote 1 paper, Easy A! Take her she is the best! No quizzes or discussions, just simple drafts due each week. No book needed.

Dr. Kelley is super nice & caring but she's also no pushover. Her class is very interactive so you have to come in ready to participate. It' cool b/c you learn by practicing instead of just listening to your professor talk for 1.5 hours. She will help you in any way that she can but she also doesnt allow nonsense in her class which i like.

The best. Couldn't be happier with Dr Kelley. Shes straight forward with her expectations. Her course plan for the essay makes it easy by the time u get to the rough draft. Ill be using the techniques she is showing us for all my future research papers. **high five**

I was nervous about taking this class but it turned out to be great. No textbook. weekly modules. 6 weeks flex class. Each week you have a module. Responds to emails quickly and gives feedback. you can email her your paper and she will give feedback once but at least 2 days before due. Step by step powerpoints and she is very clear on instructions

I was a little nervous taking a 6 week class because I work full time. Dr. Kelley is great! Each week builds on the one prior so it's important to read her handouts and follow her examples! Her instructions are clear and concise so there's no reason to not do well. Unless you just totally ignore the lessons then it's on you not her.

Dr. Kelley makes it easy for you to do well BUT don't expect a blow-off class. You have to put in the work. She's very clear with instructions and grading criteria, and I liked how each writing assignment builds up to your final essay. I'm definitely using her techniques to write essays in other courses. Dr. Kelley is an amazing instructor! I took her flex online class for American Literature. She had twice a week assignments that were super easy to understand. No tests. She provided all the online reading material, so no need for a textbook. Turn in your work on time, and you're golden for an A in the class!

TAKE HER FOR MAYMESTER ONLINE IF YOU CAN! Easiest A ever! The entire class is just working on one essay. It is 5 assignments, and she gives you the grading rubric for each of them. I would recommend to send her your assignments before turning them in, if you want in-depth feedback. TAKE HER!

I had never taken a Maymester class before and I am so glad I took ENG 1302 with her. I got an A+!!! Her class was super duper easy I mean like really easy. She is not a tough grader at all and she responds to emails that same day! I would definitely take all over again if I could! TAKE HER! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I am a university student & took Dr. Kelley's British Lit class during Winter Term. Even though Dr. Kelley teaches at Richland, she is well-known & has quite a good reputation at my university for teaching really awesome literature courses. So glad I took her course. Very insightful professor.

I have honestly never really liked english or english teachers. But Dr. Kelley has been one of my favorite professors EVER! She is an AMAZING teacher! You're only graded on journals and writing assignements, which are all pretty easy. She makes writing so easy and I honestly never thought I would enjoy an english class as much as I enjoyed this one

Dr. Kelleys teaching method is genius & I did really well on essays in other classes by using what she taught me. Very straightforward professorso much that you have to work really hard to do bad in her class (Haha to turn other reviewer below). Shes made me a much better writer. Cant wait to take her for ENGL 1302.

Dr. Kelley is very formulaic in how she teaches essays. I'm a science major so it makes total sense to me. I never knew writing could be so ridiculously easy. The way she taught us worked for a research essay in my history class, too.

I liked that Dr. Kelley's World Literature II course was writing-based and encouraged creative thinking. The writing assignments fostered a deeper understanding of the texts we read in the class, and I enjoyed getting to analyze the writings selected for the course.

Dr. Kelley is so kind and sweet, she answers all your emails as soon as she can, and she even allows you to submit your writing assignments early for feedback. She is very clear in her criteria and what you need to do to get an A+; it's obvious that she cares deeply about her students. This is hands-down the best online course I've ever taken.

She is just AWESOME! Class had 3 essays and 5 journals. If you have perfect attendance you don't have to take the final! I highly suggest you take her.

FAVORITE PROFESSOR EVER! She is very passionate about both writing and teaching and truly wants her students to succeed. I took her class years ago and she still recognizes me at school and gives me a huge hug. I learned to write well because of her and have excelled in writing college papers solely because of Dr. Kelley. She is phenomenal.

I lost my dad in the early week of January, and she was amazing helping me catch up with the rest of my classmates. Towards the end whenever COVID-19 kept us all at home, she was still very proactive with helping all of us and giving us feedback, etc. but I wasn't exempt from the final exam b/c I wasn't there 100% regardless of my situation...

Solid pick here. Didn't change my life but she was sweet. Clear on what she wants. Let me correct some projects and resend them when I realized I had done them wrong and came to her. You do NOT have to buy a book. Course didn't change after we transitioned due to COVID. There is a final but if you have perfect attendance, you don't have to take it.

Writing has always been hard for me until I took Dr. Kelley's class. I think other professors & teachers have made writing difficult but she breaks each piece down in a very clear way. Her methods also worked in two other classes where I had to write a research essay. Dr. Kelley's class is a solid investment to your education & success.

I 100% recommend this professor. I took a 6 week online course with her and I was really nervous about it. There is a lot of writing in her class, but as long as you turn in each assignment and follow her clear instructions you will do good. Also, no book required for this course. She gives you all the materials you need.

I had to take World Literature as an elective and have been dreading it but I ended up loving Dr. Kelley's class. She made old literature relevant to today's times & I would have never thought about it. Really interesting connections to the protests, COVID, criminal law, the election, & more. Very cool!

Dr. Kelley is amazing! I would recommend this professor to anyone. You have a essay your building on during the semester, 2 journal assignment's giving your feed back on article or video the professor picked, and two discussion boards. She will reach out if she noticed you submit an assignment incorrectly and replies to emails asap.

Dr. Kelley is such an amazing professor. Assignments considered of an essay which you build up through out the class. 2 Journal with instructions, 3 DB, one group assignment. Essay A as long as you follow directions just as she says.

Let me just say I loved her class. Although it was online, she would answer emails quickly. She doesnt give extra credit, but you can email her your papers which she will revise once. Theres small quizzes based on the PPTs but they are really easy and are usually 10 questions. There was only one essay the whole semester. Take her if you can!

It is similar to her 1301 course: PowerPoints, quizzes, Journals, and multiple assignments to build the essay.

This Professor was amazing. Shes really sweet and helpful. Anytime I needed clarification or help, she was there. I actually became a better writer in this class. She gives very straightforward instruction and doesnt keep you guessing. She gives templates for writing. My peers that were taking Comp 1302 had terrible professors and I was so lucky.

I had already taken Dr. Kelley's 1301 course and loved how engaging she was and decided to take her 1302 course as well. She answers your emails in a timely matter and is understanding of your situation if you need an extension. She also chooses interesting topics that relate to current or recent events. Highly recommend!

Wow ! Prof. Kelley has been one of the best teachers that I have encountered. She gives you 1-2 easy assignments per week and is not a tough grader. She gives you feedback on all of your assignments and helps if you are confused. Prof. Kelley really made me enjoy her class. I definitely recommend her !!

Im an old student who hasnt been in school for over 10 yrs. & wasnt the greatest student back then especially when it came to writing papers. So of course I had self doubt but thanks to Dr. Kelley, I can now write & I even enjoy it! Its magic! Thanks to her, I have confidence to purse my bachelors degree. Shes changed my life.

This was a challenging class that required a lot of reading and writing but Dr. Kelley grades fairly and is most interested in your ideas and how you interpret the literature. In the past I really never understood why literature is important & I disliked it. But now me as a science major enjoys and respects it.

Took her 1301 before taking 1302 in Fall 2020. IDK if it was COVID, but 02 class was easier. We literally worked on 1 paper the entire semester. In 01, we did 4 papers. Feedback was positive but did not say how I could improve. Sweet prof. She tried to be super clear with us (almost patronizingly so at times). I did like her tho. Solid pick!

When all my other professors during COVID either dont know how or dont care to teach online classes, Dr. Kelleys class was absolutely amazing. Anyone who takes her class should consider themselves lucky. I learned so much & she was very helpful in giving me feedback to improve my writing. Take her!

Currently in her 16 wk course, I've been keeping up an A. 3 essays, a few easy short writing assignments, a few easy DBs, a few easy 10 question quizzes. Looks like a lot of work, but follow the outlines she gives and its a pretty easy A. You can really finish all assignments early & be done w the class. She's nice and gives feedback. Always cite!

Dr. Kelley is a wonderful professor! Her assignments are easy & the instructions are very clear. She takes time to answer any & all questions and will even read over your essays & give feedback before the due date. As long as you complete the assignments & fulfill the assignment requirements, you'll do well & have no trouble passing her class.

Show up & do the work & you get an A. She sets you up to succeed by allowing you to email your assignments to her before theyre due & she will give you feedback. Revise it per her suggestions & submitA. Done & done.

I really like this professors style. Its definitely a writing class but its easy writing. Shes big on citing your sources correctly but thats an easy fix. Plus I want to know how to do it right so I dont accidentally plagiarize in the future. Everyone I personally know has an A in the class and is learning a lot.

The pandemic has been really hard on me & my friends, especially in our college classes. But Dr. Kelley has given me hope. Her class is easy to understand, and my writing has improved. Her Assignment Review policy is the best. If you decide to use it, youll get an A. Take her class. You wont regret it.

This is a wonderful class and kind professor. Shes arranged the class so you basically get her as a private tutor, but you decide if you wanna do it. Ive seen Dr. Kelley being treated in a mean way here & thats unfair. I highly recommend this course.

Easy to follow, low-maintainence class. I've taken literature classes before and this professor is extremely straightforward compared to others. She doesn't make you guess or expect to read her mind. LOL She also doesn't expect you to write like you're in grad school. In fact, she helped me become a better writer, and I was already pretty good.

I am a senior at a university. If you think this class is difficult or the professor is unreasonable then you have a lot of growing up to do and you probably wont make it at the university. I wish I had taken her earlier on because she taught me so much about writing & it would have made some of my other classes much easier.

Dr. Kelly is a blessing. I've never written essays well and she discovered that I'm a visual learner. She taught me a visual mind map technique to develop my ideas and paragraphs. After I work that out, then I write everything down in a traditional way. It has changed my writing game up for the better, and I even get an A!

Well-organized, easy to follow, engaging class. I had fun with it and learned a lot. It's a writing course but its very manageable with all different types of writing (worksheets, presentations, DB's, journals, etc. and not just large essays-YUCK!) It's clear she wants you to enjoy literature & uses many modalities to make that happen.

Dr. Kelley is a very experienced teacher, I took her 16-week class and the only disappointing thing is that I wasn't able to take her 1302 class because all the spots were taken. You will learn alot in the class, which will help you not only for college but also prepare you for the professional life. Take her class, you will not be disappointed!

Professor Kelley is an amazing teacher and I would take her again if I could. You can tell she is very experienced in her field. She always makes sure that everyone is engaged and you can tell that she cares for her students! She assigns small journal assignments and short essays that aren't too difficult if you pay attention to the description.

I am giving her 5 stars! You will have to read in this class. The syllabus is clear. The plays and reading pieces are a little long but the actual assignments are very fun and short. I have never had so much fun writing papers. We chose memes for some of our work to compare to the reading piece from that week. Do your work and you will pass!

THE best English professor at Dallas College. She gives more than enough time to work on writing assignments, makes sure the students know what they are doing (thorough lectures), and is very fair when it comes to grading. That's all you can ask for.

Dr. Kelley was awesome! Attendance is not mandatory, however perfect attendance will get you a 100 on the final. Show up to class and you'll do fine!

I am a dual credit student and was really nervous b/c this was my first semester taking college classes. I love Dr. Kelley! She taught me so much. Improved my writing & taught me how to correctly cite sources. I feel much more confident about college and writing essays in other classes all thanks to her.

Although i wasnt a fan of the group work I must say that Dr. Kelley is one of the greatest professors ive had the pleasure of taking. It isnt an easy A, but she will do everything she can to help you achieve the grade you want. attendance wasnt mandatory but show up to every class and you wont have to take the final!

I wish if I took Dr. Kelley for English 1301 she gives amazing lecture there is no tests or quizzes just essays and journals each 150 word. BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!

Dr. Kelley is quite genius. She is writing her own book so she shares tips and tricks and she shows us what she's doing. She is a very experienced and successful professional, so you might expect her to have a big ego, but she doesn't. She's very humble and kind and she truly cares for her students.

This is a well-organized, manageable online literature class with all different types of fun assignments. Citing sources correctly is very important (as it should be). I really learned a lot and like I said, it was a lot of fun, which I wasn't expecting but was pleasantly surprised.

Really liked this class. She is very reasonable and available to students. I've never been in a class where a professor will review your assignment before grading it. I recommend you use this resource b/c basically you're guaranteed an A.

This was a good class that covers a variety of literature. Reading old literature can be hard but she provides many materials to help you make sense of it. Using ChatGPT to write your assignments is prohibited, and she can figure it out by the way you write. I don't recommend trying it because she's not stupid. She helped my critical thinking.

Class was well-organized & the material was manageable in a short-term class. The lessons easily correlate to the assignments and the grading criteria is clear.

Dr.Kelley was a good professor to have. She responds quickly to your emails, gives good feedback on assignments, and posts announcements for upcoming events. Her assignments are not that hard, but it does take time to finish. You'll definitely get an A as long you try your best and do not cheat.

Dr. Kelley is accessible outside of class & helped me a lot. For that reason, I took advantage of her Assignment Review Policy & got an A. Overall, the class was interesting & we got to do a lot of different creative types of assignments besides just writing essays all the time. Highly recommend!

I had a great time in this class. Dr. Kelley is very personable and friendly. She responded quickly to questions and provided grades and feedback within 24-48 hours. While she is quite nice, don't take advantage. She follows the rules of the syllabus and does not put up with nonsense or disrespect. Expect to act and be treated like an adult.

8-week online courses are challenging, so you need to know that you will be writing every week in this class. But the writing is reasonable. But as long as you keep up and take advantage of her assignment review policy, you should earn an A.

Coming to class, participating & studying regularly is definitely your key to success but do these things and its an easy A.

She is the best English professor in DCCCD. Her syllabus is straightforward. All assignments are doable. My advice I would give you is do your work, take the advantage of the assignment policy and submit your work before class time. Finally, show up every class will get you a 100 on your final; therefore, you do not need to take it.

I am a non-native English speaking student. I took Dr. Kelley for both ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302. She has made me a better writer and a better person. Both of her classes are easy A's so long as you work hard, take advantage of her assignment review, and don't cheat or plagiarize.

She's great! Really nice and funny and the class was really easy so long as you're good with writing. Lots of perks taking her, like if you have perfect attendance you don't have to take the final exam, and she'll proof read any assignment before you turn it in and tell you if anything's wrong with it. If anything, she's pretty strict on deadlines.

Dr. Kelley is one of those professors I will never forget. The class was amazing & she helped build my confidence as a writer. I will take many of the skills I learned and apply them to other classes.

She was sweet when I took her for world literature, and I enjoyed reading many sources, but it took a lot of time. Just put in the work, and doing the discussion boards was entertaining.

This was a short-term, fast track 8-week online class so of course, it was a lot of work. But that was expected. Overall, the course design and deadlines are easy to follow. Easy A, especially since you have the option for her to review your assignments before grading.

This class was easy to follow and well-organized. Professor was available and answered my questions when I needed help fast. I also liked her sample assignments and videos.

Engaging easy class. She sets you up to do well with specific instructions, sample assignments, and an assignment review before grading if you email her. It is a short summer class so the extra work load is expected but also reasonable.

This was a short 8-week 1302 course but each major assignment builds on the next. She has her own helpful videos, assignment instructions, and sample assignments. So long as you know and commit to 8-week classes that are more intensive, you should be able to get an A.

Reading and writing intensive class. No tests except for syllabus quiz. If you cheat with AI you will get an F.

Erin Kelley is a great professor who sets you up for success. The workload is reasonable, and she provides helpful feedback. Using resources like unstuck study for study prep made this class very manageable.

I think its important to know that this is an English literature class and she is an English writing professor. If you have been slacking with source citation or with using AI to write papers for you won't do well. As for me, I learned a lot and thought this was a fun class. But I am already a strong writing student.

Dr. Kelley is an excellent professor with clear assignments. Would prefer her over any other English professor I have had.

Professor Kelley is one of the best professors I've ever had! She provides clear grading criteria, offers valuable feedback, has an organized class. The examples she provides were incredibly helpful and honestly saved me during the course USE THEM & DOUBLE CHECK! Just be prepared for a lot of reading, but if you stay on top of it, you'll do great!

This professor makes the syllabus very readable, with the deadlines extremely clear for every assignment. If you follow all the directions given in each assignment, you will get a 100 on that assignment, it is that simple, and it is not a lot of work to do.

Dr. Erin Kelly is a fantastic professor! If you struggle in writing, she will help you out! Also, make sure to attend every class!

This is the easiest class ever. You literally have the professor at your fingertips if you use her assignment review policy. I've never seen another professor who allows you to email your assignments beforehand so you can get her feedback before grading. It's a guaranteed A so long as you are not a lazy slug who does not care about your grade.

Dr. Kelley will make sure you know what you should know how to research and write strong essays and presentations. I had to write essays in another class I was taking, and I got an A using her methods. Very helpful and caring.

I am a dual credit high school student & Im still getting used to how much harder college is than high school. I really liked Dr. Kelley's class & I am a better writer because of her.

If you keep up, do what you're supposed to do, and use her review option, you can get easily an A. If you don't keep up, cheat with AI, or don't cite your sources right or plagiarize, you can fail.

This class is honestly a little too easy, but there are many intellectually challenged students in community college these days. I feel for her. She's very smart but has to dumb down everything. If u can't follow the simplest of instructions, use basic critical thinking, and only write at a 5th grade level then you will fail. And you should.

Good class for international students. She is very helpful and will help you do your best & get an A.

My favorite class of the semester & Im not a big reader of literature. But I learned so much and really enjoyed it. She makes old literature make sense in today's world & she really cares what students have to say. Very engaging professor and a fun, easy class. Weekly Perussal readings and notes. Two presentations. Highly recommended.
