Mrs Reaume was and amazing professor took her online class fall 2016 very clear at what she expects, not a lot of work. quizzes are like 4 questions open book. Had a lot medical issues this semester she was very understanding and prompt at responding. She makes her self available for any questions you might have. Would take her again

awesome teacher!! gives a lot of reading assignments and then you just discuss the material with your group the next day. a few quizzes and there was only like 2 pop quizzes out of the whole semester. She's a pretty chill person and will work with you if you follow directions and pay attention in class.

Her work is reasonable for a regular semester, but a bit too much for a Maymester, she treated it like a reg. semester(a lot of reading hw each day, daily quizzes, a paper, presentation & Final). She treated her Maymester like a regular semester (each day is 1.5 week) so yes there were a lot of daily reading assignments & quizzes. She didn't cut the work load, but it's doable for a regular semester!!!!! Also had a paper, presentation & Final (most questions are from quizzes). I recommend taking her, it won't be easy but still a good prof.

i took the maymester class, was a lot of homework but if you attend the class and do homework, its an easy A. Her quizzes and exams are really easy. The research paper is kind of lengthy but she offers a lot of extra credit

I also took her class during Maymester. It was a challenge, but a good one. She had big expectations for us. Do your work and you can make it. Other students were complaining about work load, but wait until they get to a University. It's doable. It was a lot of work, but I learned so much in the short time. I would definitely take her class again.

I have enjoyed this class quite a bit. She is very easy to get in touch with regarding any question with he homework. And is flexible if you ask. A lot of the topics were challenging for me due to the underlying bias tones. But I was able to state my opinion and still receive a great grade. there's extra credit as well. She gives great feedback.

I took Prof Reaume for both ENGL 1301 and 1302. There were lots of papers but its expected for comp. I actually enjoyed the essays because she gave a clear and easy rubric for rough drafts, gave feedback and gave extra credit if you also got feedback from TCC writing center, and the due dates for final drafts werent due for weeks after.

I took this class in the summer as my first online class ever. The teacher is really nice and she seemed to really care how well everyone did in the class. She is a stickler for MLA 8 format so make sure you're always sharpening those skills. She also opens the assignments early so that you can get ahead which is helpful.

She was amazing! She showed grace to those who contacted her about issues, very flexible 10/10 highly recommend!!

Professor Reaume was a good teacher. American Gothic was the sole focus in here and focuses on heavier material. She is a tough grader, but she does give good feedback especially if you email her. She's not too lenient on late work, but as long as you talk to her about it before the due date, you're all good. Her extra credit is amazing though!

Took this class in my first semester after 15 years out of school and took an advanced 8 week course on top of that. Professor Reaume was fantastic for those able to structure themselves and adhere to a preset workload. Her communication is fantastic. An exorbitant amount of extra credit is available. Professor gives group project but you do have the option of doing them alone. Defintely have to do reading outside of class before the lecture. There are discussions in person so make sure you read. For projects, you can be in a group, tests and quizzes are open notes, can be taken three times but are averaged out.

However, she is sometimes not clear with her feedback on your projects and is very strict on using MLA format. Her MLA format is also different from your English Comp 1 class

I really enjoyed having this professor as my English Comp class, it primarily revolves around film studies and creativity. The professor is very kind and has clear communication and is willing to work with you as long as you communicate. English is not my strongest subject, however, I was able to gain a really good grade.

Two week maymester course, fast-paced, well organized. Rubric provided and used for all essays. Feedback provided on all assignments. Response time to emails was within 24 hours, that I have experienced. Extension on assignments was provided if the professor wasn't done grading it. Extra credit was optional as well. In the course I took there weren't any essays but you did write a lot, however, the prompts were easy to understand and required you have a good understanding of the text being discussed. Professor Reaume is a fair , but firm teacher. I did not have my books when class initially started so I had a late start. I was determined to pass her class and she was onboard with my decision! English class of any sort isn't easy for me but I found that her class challenged me to do my best and to read, read, read! I will take her class again!

She is very communicative and helpful on assignments and emails! There is reading (this is a literature course) but it isn't unmanageable. Almost all of the assignments are discussion posts, which take time, but again, not bad. Took this in the summer at a fast pace, so normal semester should be a breeze!

If you take this ENGL 2323 in the summer it is intensive as expected for a summer class. Make sure you keep up, read, study and know MLA 8 inside and out for Discussion board req. are 350 to 500 and two peer responses of 100 words. There are 16 modules in 5 weeks so prepare yourself.

You write only a couple essays throughout the whole course and if you keep up on all the assignments you should succeed.

Professor Reaume is a very down-to-earth professor who genuinely wants to see you succeed in her class. Coursework is somewhat light, one week you might have a quiz due, and another week you'll have a regular assignment and occasional papers. One thing to be aware of is that she takes plagiarism very seriously so make sure to do your own work.

She is very respectful and will help you if you ask.

She gave many resources to aid us with any assignments in class. She was also very quick to respond to any emails.

What I want other students to know about this professor is that she really values what she does, she gives you enough time to get every assignment done, and if you need more time you can always ask. She also makes sure you have all the tools to succeed in her class as long as you use them.

Professor R. takes an interesting and fun take on her class. Instead of giving her students a book and a deadline, we watch movies to analyze and later write about the film. It is a little hard getting used to it because I am so used to reading then writing an essay, but she gives the class a modern take.

She is very inclusive and connects with her students quite well. She allows for her students to get extra credit, and allows for everyone to get out of their comfort zone through presentations.

Professor Reaume is wonderful! She treats her students with respect and understanding. If you need an assignment extended and communicate to her she has no problem giving an extension. There is a lot of reading but none of it is unnecessary. We had 2 group projects, a final project, final exam, no essays, and weekly work that was due on Sundays.

Professor Reaume is a great teacher. She is very quick-witted and fun to talk to, and she is very understanding of extenuating circumstances. Unless the assignment is a test or quiz, she will guarantee extensions for as long as you need. There will be weekly readings that can be overwhelming if you get behind, but there are no required essays.

Her class is enjoyable and the workload isn't that much. The only reason I got the grade I did was because I didn't focus and do all the work. She also gives easy extra credit opportunities

Professor Erin made this class very engaging and I like how many classes it was a group discussion. I always felt like my opinion mattered and she loved hearing my point of view on each topic. She was one of the most amazing Professors I have had during my time in dual credit.

Makes clear lesson plans that follow closely with the assignments making it easy to follow and understand. The professor is an easy grader that allows room for your opinon even if its a bit off. I would definitely say to do the readings they make this class a breeze.

Professor Erin is a very straight forward grader, and she is clear on her assignments. She provides a safe class atmosphere & fun environment. Just make sure to not plagiarize.

She teaches in a way for us to understand and engages us accordingly. Nothing has ever been "too hard" in this class and there is a schedule so we know what to expect in the course. I feel like I have learned more in this class than any other TCC English course.

Honestly, her class is easy if you pay attention and do the work when she assigns it, and if you need an extension she will give it to you unless it's a quiz or test. Professor Erin made this class very enjoyable, hands down one of the best teachers I've had during my time at TCC.

An A in this class is achievable as long as you turn in the material on time and follow instructions. Erin did a very good job of teaching the importance of Brit Lit this semester. She assigns 1-3 assignments a week and some weeks we watch a film version of whatever we're reading to compare them. Her course is very clear with her expectations and what she wants out of her class.

Professor Erin is the best. While she did have a personal conflict this semester, she was still there for us and was upfront about needing more time to grade. This class does have a lot of reading, but I expected nothing less from a British Literature class. I would 100% take her class again!

Professor Eren has an awesome sense of humor that makes her lectures very engaging. She has lots of knowledge about her profession and rarely reads directly from slides. We do lots of discussions and most of the literary works we are assigned are very interesting. Just don't fall behind on your readings or procrastinate on assignments.

Professor assigns reading and then discussion in class, if nobody pushed the discussion I can see learning being difficult. With a capable class discussion understanding the material becomes easy and the assignments become simpler due to greater understanding.

Erin is a wonderful precession who studied film and cinema. her course reflects this with assignments on film through conventional english modes like essays and papers. She is a wonderful soul who occasionally is late, but she is an amazing teacher. Highly recommend taking this class.

I would definitely take it again, but just a heads up make sure you're prepared to put the work in. Yes, she has extra credit & extensions but if you fall too behind it'll be tough. She gives amazing feedback on your essays and is very understanding. A bit sarcastic sometimes, but you'll push through lol.

Grades took a while to be entered. Generous with extensions & grading. Compliments. Never learned MLA - would say "review MLA" and take points off, but never explain. Tons of reading-unreasonable. Weekly reading quiz or discussion board-reasonable. Discussion boards had many prompts to choose from. I used SparkNotes and ctrl + f searched readings.

Great teacher for an online class. Assignment and their corresponding feedback was great and given in a timely manner. No papers, but class is largely graded on discussion posts. Be ready to use MLA.

First time in online class. Professor Boggs expects you to do the reading (a sweltering pace during Summer). Simple written discussions are the primary assignment form, several multiple choice quizzes, a mixed test on MLA, and midterm/final. Professor was accommodating, complimentary, helpful, kind, and fairhanded. You do the work, you get your A.

She's a good teacher who is willing to listen to students. However, if you're taking English Composition, know that it'll feel more like Film Composition and the stuff you learn will then go into essay writing. Otherwise, I liked the class because it was very simple and I felt like I did well.

This class was pretty easy. It wasn't hard to get all my assignments in on time. Grading was a little harsh but you have the chance to redo most large grades.

Professor Boggs is a nice teacher, and although there are many assignments and readings, this class is fairly easy. She has many quizzes, and textbook readings are required- so be ready to read, read, read! She does have high expectations for her students, so don't walk into this class expecting it to be free. :)

She always gives good feedback and has clear criteria for how assignments are going to be graded. She allows multiple opportunities for extra credit and if you do the assigned readings, the class discussions are interesting and easy. You get weekly assignments, quizzes which are completed on your own time out of class and maybe one essay.

The worst part about her class is her grading. She has incredibly specific requirements for what your presentation or essays should meet but does not tell you what they are. If you are looking for an easy GPA booster do not take this class. Overall good and informational class to take.

I love professor Erin so much!!! She's not that bad, you might be reading but it's all good. Would take her again. We only wrote 2 essays and it was easy. If you aren't lazy, you'll be good. She might be a bit passive aggressive but she's cool. Participation matters. Quizzes are open note. JUST READ. She insulted Helena Carter, I don't like that.

She respects the students who respect her. She sets the expectations early in the semester. If you just abide by these expectations and do your work with academic integrity she will have your back. I had this professor for two years back to back for a total of four classes and have had no issues. With extra credit I have received a 100 every time.

Well-paced class that prioritizes cooperation and insight into content over meaningless essays. The workload is manageable and class discussions/group projects are interesting. The pieces we read are good examples of British literature, and historical context was provided to deepen our understanding of the texts. It's a lit class, expect to read.

Honestly I learned so much with Erin. All our group discussions in class were useful and engaging. We did read a lot, but it's a literature class so that is expected. Very clear feedback is given on papers and she is a stickler about citations and MLA format, but she gives clear examples and instructions on how to cite correctly. Would take again.

Erin takes the topics she teaches very seriously and passionately, and like most other professors she requires that her work is done fully, and well. It is pretty easy to excel in her class-- just do your work, read the materials she requires, and be able to speak up in class. She's also honestly pretty understanding and sweet.

Prof. Boggs provides thorough lectures to help aid you throughout the course and is also concerned about your opinions of the course and wellbeing. In addition, she is also flexible and is willing to provide extra feedback if needed. In my opinion, this course is not only educational, but entertaining as well. Would recommend if fan of the Gothic.

I had Mrs. Boggs online for half a semester and honestly I wish I would of had her all this year because she is a great teacher, I would recommend everyone to take her class. I took her class only half a semester and online, and yet she was still accessible and made the effort to stay in communication with us.

I only had Erin for one semester, but wish I had her for a whole year. Her class is not hard, you will get the credit as long as you pit into effort. She gives out alot of resources if you are struggling and made the material easy to understand. If you want to boost up your grade, try cheering her up or do the extra credit, it is not hard.
